Excellent service, clean, great drinks, fantastic food and quick too! Open late with ample free parking as well. I ordered the Monster Margarita and it was amazing! The meal I got was awesome and explored different parts of the menu. I left very full and satisfied. I would recommend Casa Brava to everyone.

Casa is good. I tend not to go there very often though. Servers are friendly when you can understand them. :)

So I moved to Dallas...and really miss the Mexican food I could get at Casa Brava. I know that sounds weird. I mean Dallas is a great place for an authentic street taco, but the "Tex Mex" places there just aren't as good. Casa Brava is wonderful. Varied menu. Good drinks, good service. White Cheese Dip (yeah, in Texas it's made with Velveeta for some reason). Yum

Where's the beef? Great atmosphere, clean, friendly servers. Re fried beans are five star, and the rice is good too! However, where is the beef? I ordered a tamale and got a nice mouth full of masa with very little meat. A five star restaurant for its class; lessened to four for being light on the meat.

Oh my goodness! what a great place! This is some of the best Mexican food I have eaten in years. The best thing was the huge Margaritas!! The best I have had in Indian and maybe even the ones I had in Texas! The food was also outstanding, I had their Carnitas and may I say the best of the best, crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside just the way they should be. The plates come to the table hot and so huge I could not finish it all. Remember to eat well and to live well and please no chains!

I was in the area for a motorcycle vacation and stopped in for dinner here one nite. This restaurant served up some fabulous Mexican dishes. I had the Carnitas. The pork was marinated perfectly. The best part was that the portions are HUGE! You definitely get your money's worth. The waiter was great as well, keeping our drinks filled and was very attentive to whatever we needed. He even brought us friend ice cream, on the house! It was so good, in fact that our group came back the next nite. I had steak and shrimp. It was delicious as well. Wow!!!

Took a trip to study some of our ancestry and got to try a few places out of town for the weekend. Casa Brava seemed very new. There was some construction still going on and they did not have tea or lemonade because of it. My family and I did enjoy our meals and we had a lot of fun with the server who was very jovial.

I am so glad that we chose to eat at this restaurant. The service was great! Our waiter was polite and always serving with a smile, he was prompt and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. My margarita was the best one that I have ever had. Our food was simply amazing. Definitely the best Mexican I've ever had.

I was in town on business and saw some good reviews on Yelp and thought I would give it a try. I read the good words about the Carnitas and though I typically don't eat anything fried, I thought I would give them a try for old time sakes. Carnitas have always been a favorite of mine and Casa Brava did not disappoint. Food was very tasty, service was top notch and the portions and price were both pleasing. If you like Mexican food you can't go wrong here.

Decent Mexican place. For Bedford. The other Mexican place in town (by Walmart) was awful. I would only eat here from now on if I want Mexican. Decent menu, decent portions, decent price. service is good and always fast. Lunch for 2 on a Saturday is quick even when it's busy. 2 thumbs up.

I'm torn when it comes to this place. On one hand, the food is good and the staff is friendly. On the other hand, I've heard WAY too many rumors about the cleanliness of their kitchen. That's the main reason I've not been in a while. I might go back one day, we'll see. If we're talking about Mexican places in the Bedford/Mitchell area, El Compadre in Mitchell has kept me happy up to this point.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
