Stopped in with husband and friend on the way through town, hungry and ready for a nice BBQ dinner. One waitress working and she was nice enough but very very slow. In fact the place had very few customers but we waited forever. Food arrived and I could see across the room that even still on the tray it looked bad. Ate it anyway, my mother taught me to be gracious, but have to say it was the worst BBQ ribs I have ever been served. Bland gray meat, no sign it had seen a grill, mac and cheese was the same boxed stuff I feed the kids, dried out corner of a corn bread square, the whole thing well below par for a BBQ joint. Even drowning it in sauce didn't help because sauce was flavorless too. Would have had a better meal at McD's with their pressed meat BBQ sandwich. Run away fellow Yelpers!

How this place stays in business is beyond me. Had the pulled pork sandwich which tasted like propane. Had been wanting to try for awhile, very sorry I did. Only took 50 minutes to get my order and there were only 6 others in the store. If you want bbq around here get the pork from the grocery at least it's edible.

If this review was for the fried chicken it would be 5 stars ! I'm a big BBQ fan so I ordered the rib dinner. When the bone came out of the meat when I touched it I knew I wasn't going to be impressed. The ribs had a flavorless rub on them and were steamed or slow cooked entirely too long. I was not a fan of their homemade sauces either. Each was very sweet. I think too much basil and cummin in another. The "hot" sauce had no depth or flavor to it either. The wait staff was great and friendly and the prices were average so no complaints about them. But if you have a hankering for some BBQ - this wouldn't be a place I'd go to again.

This is my first time eating breakfast here and probably the last time eating breakfast here. I ordered the Big Daddy which comes with 2 eggs, home fries, 1/2 order of biscuits and grave and beacon, or sausage. My friend ordered the same. 5 min went by and the server cam out and said they didn't have and home fries made and it would be about 15 min to make them. I thought no problem I have time. 25 min went by my drink has been empty for ten min and the server came back out to tell me they have one biscuit left. They said they can do toast instead. I said that would be fine. Food arrive 45 min later. Home fries were microwaved gravy was bland not to mention not having biscuits to go with it. I ordered my eggs over easy when they come out the should have just put a hard boiled egg on my plate. The bacon is the only thing that was some what tasty on my plate. Total time for breakfast was an hour and half. I would not recommend this place for breakfast

This place was an experience. I saw it by the highway and decided to stop in. Since they only serve the southern fried chicken on Friday nights and Sundays I figured I'd try it. The waitress told me that they can only cook so many chickens at a time (the place was pretty packed) that it would take 20-30 minutes. I told her it was fine, I wasn't in a rush. I ordered some fried pickles to have while I waited. They were very good. Probably the best I've ever had. While waiting for my food to come, I realize that I has walked into some sort of after church Sunday gathering. It turned out to be like, Christian karaoke? I guess. It was very bizarre. My food came out in the amount of time it was promised. The corn bread was okay, nothing special. The soup beans were very good, the cole slaw was pretty good too. I was a little disappointed with the chicken. It was kinda bland. It looked like it had a lot of pepper on it but I tasted none. It was over all a good experience. I think the waitress was so busy she forgot about me because I waited a long time with my plates stacked up neatly on the table waiting for my check. Another waitress finally noticed, apologised for the other and cashed me out. I did feel bad for them. It was crazy busy and they were working non stop and I'm in the service industry and I understand this. Surely a dining experience I will remember for a long time.

Some real good bbq pork and the sides matched. Good local flavor and local entertainment, we can on karaoke Sunday apparently at lunch. Would come back again.

I can not speak of the food but the service was extremely bad walked in had to wait a minuet to be seated when the waitress arrived to seat us she never greeted us or said anything just grabbed the silver wear and menus took us to a table asked what we wanted to drink and left when she brought the drinks back asked if we were ready we asked for a minuet to look over the menu that was the last we saw of her after about 15 minuets we paid for our drinks and left we will never go back. They were not at all busy only about 7 tables were taken.

Took about 800 years & a ton of horrific karaoke before there was a rumor our food MAY come out. The fried chicken was decent, but they only serve that on Friday & Sunday. Can't say I recommend this place.

Big Daddy's BBQ is the best in Southeast Indana. Pulled pork, cornbread, sweet potatoes are all incredibly delicious! The fried chicken is the best I've had & I usually don't like fried chicken. The homemade desserts are a great finish to a great meal. The staff & atmosphere are really friendly &.comfortable, like being at home. They make their own sauces too - all of them are really tasty.

Tonight was our third try on this place in about 4 years. First time the food and service was pretty good. A couple years ago we tried it again, got there at a decent time but they'd only had one serving of ribs left. My husband got the last of their ribs which was a meager portion and I got the fried chicken. The fried chicken was decent, the ribs was ok, and the service was super slow even though there were hardly any customers there. I ended up having to go to the waitress to get my bill. That leaves us to tonight. We thought it's been a couple years, maybe things are better. Walked in and got seated, waitress comes up, I ask if they have enough ribs for two dinners, she disappears for about 10 minutes and comes back and says yes and takes our drink order. We waited and waited for our drinks, but about 15 to 20 minutes later she comes with our food of 2 rib dinners, we asked about our drinks and she went and got them. The ribs were nice and hot but dont taste smoked at all now like they use to, my baked potato was only warm, the cold slaw and cornbread was good. And yes, I had to go find her to get my bill. We should have left as soon as she told us to be patient in the beginning, but oh well, had to give them one more chance.
