I've been here several times as I live in Woodstock and it's standard to check out the crowd during a weekend bar crawl. The service is far from consistent and some of the servers are absolutely horrible. On my most recent visit I had no trouble ordering the first round of drinks and was greeted by a smile from one of the female bartenders. After my buddy and I finished our beers it took 15 minutes to get two more and this was after I had to call out to both bartenders who seemed to be ignoring us for no apparent reason. The bartender's response was "It's going to be a while"!!!! Really? For two beers? And she was serving everyone around us! I must say, when the tall male bartender is working he does a great job of handling everyone in a timely manner but the two weekend female bartenders need some formal training.

Great neighborhood bar with friendly staff. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well as the knowledge to back it up. Sweet patio out back as well!!

They say they serve the best Bloody Mary in town. And it's true. They also have a rotating selection of delicious craft beers as well as classic domestics like Hamm's on draft at very reasonable prices. In the warmer months, they have an expansive patio and lawn for those of you who enjoy a lifestyle of leisure. The best part about Ortmann's is the amazing service. You always feel safe and welcome in the establishment.

Do you enjoy craft beers? Do you like mixed drinks? I do and that is why I love Ortmann's. The staff is always friendly and there is always something good on tap. Do not forget to ask about the ice cream shots or the pineapple upside-down drink. Ortmann's also has a very nice outdoor seating area with a fire pit and games.

What a wonderful place to hang and have some great beers! They have craft beers on tap and in bottles, ones you don't find everywhere for the beer lovers. Great outdoor patio, super nice owners and great place in downtown scenic Woodstock. Definitely a place to go and hang!

The best beer menu in Woodstock hands down! Always rotating so they always have something new to try. The service can't matched we are always treated great when we go there. If you have yet to go here you should !
