Holy happy hour! Half price appetizers and traditional Maki rolls and $4 Appletinis and Mango Margaritas! Great tasting sushi, well made drinks! I'm not giving the 5 star rating because the hostesses are consistently rude! The waitstaff, food and decor make up for it....but please check your hostesses! Just because they are pretty doesn't mean they know how to be professional or polite!

If you like great Asian food, don't go there. The kitchen staff is not that skilled. Dishes are too oily, too cold, or over-seasoned. DO NOT order sashimi. It's a waste of money. We go salmon cut too close to the skin with the nasty, chewy layer on. White tuna plate was a sad pile of shredded raddish covered with six paper-thin and small slices. We felt ripped off. If you want a coctail and a maki roll you may be happy, especially on Monday night, if you are a woman (1/2 off rolls and $5 martinis). If you after food, you will overpay for what you get.

A friend of mine took me here for my birthday. First thing I noticed was the place looked awesome. Very clean and modern looking. We shared a sushi sampler and I had the Bangkok Garlic Pepper Wok -toss with steak. The sushi was great very fresh. The Wok was cooked perfectly the only problem was I did not like the steak in the Wok-Toss too much. Next time I will order it with Shrimp in the Wok-toss. All around a great experience thou. I recommend it!!

Went here for happy hour tonight. Great deal with 50% off appetizers. Food and service was great. I'm a fan of this place for sure.

Hm, well I came here with a larger and I was with the few that came late. I can pretty much say this experience here was the worst one I have ever had. The waiter (also the bartender; we came during happy hour) took everyone's order but mind for whatever reason. Sure it could have been my fault for not noticing it either but it's kind of like, "why would you even skip a person without asking?" So I finally ordered. Everyone's food started coming out and mine still didn't come out but I didn't think but of it because I ordered late. Then everyone started to get up to pay. One of my friend's ask the waiter and he simply just says he forgot to fill the order but takes NO action to fix it. Wow, was I embarrassed! I was soooo upset! I normally just let things go but I did speak to the manager and she had my order made for me to go but I tell ya...I have NEVER been so embarrassed. As I left, the waiter still didn't even noticed he did anything wrong. Food was really good though. The experience just sucked. I would love to go back for the good food but like I said...I was so embarrassed.

I've been here twice, and I enjoyed both experiences. It has a trendy urban feel that helps me feel like I've escaped the burbs for a couple hours. I'm not a huge sushi connoisseur, but I enjoyed the maki rolls I had there. No complaints about the waitstaff. The food was on the pricier side, but they have happy hour deals from 4-6 that I might try out some time. $3 Sapporos aren't too bad either...

In March I decided to try something new, so I bought a Groupon for Wok N Fire and thought it would be a nice a different type of place to visit. Though nice it was not even slightly different. I visited this location for dinner on 8/27/11 at approx. 6pm for dinner. The place was dead, there were only 4 tables full and the rest of it was empty. I brought my mom with me so she could have a new dining experience, with foods that aren't available in the small town where she lives. We began our meal with a drink, wine for me and a margarita for her... can you believe that they don't have a blender, you can only order a margarita on the rocks which is not a preference that everyone, my mom included, enjoys. The drink situation was a bummer considering they have a full bar, how can you not have a blender in the place? Appetizer was good... we have the pulled pork things that looked like mini tacos in a more poofy light bread shell. Very flavorful and worth $7.95 I think. The entrees were a bit overpriced. I got the Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice and my mom got the Beef Stir-Fry with Fried Rice. There is an 'up charge' for fried rice by the way. Both were ok but nothing special or authentic. I can honestly say both dishes were forgettable. Service was very good. We had a very attentive waitress and a Manger checked-in to make sure we were ok. Overall, ok place but I probably won't go back.

Their lard nar is sooo good, but I think it is a bit overpriced. Also, they don't offer it on the lunch menu, and I think over $10 is way too much to pay for lunch. I got the chicken teriyaki for lunch once and it was about $10, and I was hungry an hour later. Overall the food is very good, but overpriced for what it is and the amount you get.

Recently visited this location for the first time. They also opened one in my area of St.Charles. My girlfriend and I decided since the menu looked eclectic enough we would try it for lunch. Here is the good: Decor tastefully done except its dark with some weird lighting more like a bar/club(think black lights). Large menu selection. The not so good: Music echos so not conversation friendly and bit loud for the sparing lunch crowd. The really not so good: We both ordered the Panang with brown rice. She ordered a salad I order the egg drop soup. Here is where this gets tricky. The back of the menu states a side of choice is salad, soup , etc. However when the bill came the waitress had to even check with the manager(as she was not sure either) it only comes with the sushi lunch not the items below it but, there is no way to tell that. So we had to pay for the sides even though the print at the top of the menu states it's included. Most asian places for the lunch specials include those types of items whether it's Thai, Japanese or Chinese. We asked several questions before ordering whether they had gluten free items since we both have allergies. It took several conversations with the waitress going back and forth before she could tell us. It was like pulling teeth. In todays world it's not that uncommon for people to be on allergy free diets. The egg drop soup was nothing special and over-salted and I could not eat it. During our lunch the manager came over and offered a punch card. Seems strange as I am not sure how they are trying to market themselves. The panang was not spicy at all and was not really very flavorful but, the portions sizes were generous for lunch and I did like that you can choose brown rice over white. When we paid the check in cash the waitress did not bring us adequate change to tip so that required us to ask another waitress for more change. All in all I would not go back. After reviewing the menu it's seemed over priced for sushi and most items so if you going to offer a pan asian menu you at those prices you should at least do some of it right. but the food is mediocre. My first impression not worth it. Nothing special here unless its atmosphere you looking for but, that's not enough for me not when its at that price.

I loved this place! I bought a Groupon and thought service would be bad due to this but it was not. The food was great. I had the sesame chicken and raspberry iced tea. I did not like the iced tea but my mom got the raspberry lemonade which was good. My husband and mom both got Kung Pao chicken which my mom liked. My husband stated that his had some fat on the chicken which he did not like but it was ok. The ambiance is kind of romantic so and I liked the decorations (huge dragon built in the wall). I told my husband we definitely have to go again. I usually order sesame chicken which comes with a hard exterior but this one was soft all over. I can't wait to go again.

I love this place! Eaten there a few times. Consistantly good. The interior feels like you are at a city Asian restaurant and not in downtown Wheaton. Service friendly and efficient. Reverse happy hour fantastic. Half price specials and drinks. Only criticism is the ear splitting techno beat music when there is a DJ.

I have now eaten here 3 times in the last month (once having drinks at the bar) as whenever it is someone's birthday, they seem to want to go here. I can see why- it's the "perfect" party restaurant as it is hip, spacious, and offers a huge menu. Ultimately though, I am not a big fan. The food is "OK" but not very authentic and the acoustics in main room makes it impossible to hold a conversation without yelling. My voice was literally hoarse from having to shout 2 chairs over. I will break my review down into drinks, sushi, and main course as that is how we ate. Their margaritas are great and two of my friend love their lycee margarita. Unfortunately, they were out of it the last time we went and the first time, they only had enough lycee puree for ONE margarita (birthday girl got i!). Please order more lycee puree. I had cold sake which is what I prefer to drink with Sushi. Both times, we ordered the Red Dragon Roll which was delicious. We also ordered the Mexican Roll which has jalepeno and cilantro. It was delicious the first time, really flavorful but kind of bland the second time around. As for the entrees, the selection is vast! Not everyone loves Sushi so I think the concept is ingenius - a little something for everyone at the table. I will start with the food we loved - the Thai peanut noodles were divine. I kept grabbing it off my friend's plate and the Mahi Mahi was perfectly grilled both times we ate there. The panang curry was good too but nothing special. I like SPICY food so I ordered the Szechuan chicken which sadly, wasn't spicy at all. They need to cook the chili peppers in oil to really ignite the fire. Even their chili sauce that I asked for wasn't spicy. In fact, it was rather sweet! The second time, I ordered the Spicy Scallops. The scallops were huge and very fresh but again, not spicy in the least. It was also breaded but it was a tad soggy so I scraped it off. I do like the option of choosing brown rice with your entrees. Finally, since we were celebrating a birthday 2 out of 3 times, they brought out the banana fritter dessert which was tasty. In conclusion, I think it is a fun addition to the restaurant scene in downtown Wheaton. Other than the bad acoustics, it is a great party place as everyone will find something they like whether it is Sushi or peanut noodles. But personally, when I am craving Sushi I will go to Sushi Mono. And when I want authentic Chinese food, I will head North to Yu's Mandarin.

A couple of friends and I originally went here for a free wine tasting the restaurant was holding to pick some new wines for their menu. We got there about an hour before that started so we sat in the bar area and ordered some apps. Lucky for us it was happy hour and all apps were 1/2 off! The food was great- my personal fave was the crab rangoon. We also had the beef sakitori (?), shrimp tempura, chicken fried rice, and steamed dumplings. Everything was good. They even had good drink specials as well. My friend ordered the tuna app and didn't like it, so she asked to exchange it for something else. Literally 20 minutes later (more time than it took us to get all that food), she came over and asked if we had refused the plate of food because someone in the kitchen had told her we had. We informed her that was not the case and we would still like the food. 10 minutes later we had the food. It took about 10 minutes more to get the bill. While we were waiting, the tasting had begun but by then the place was PACKED, there was no room to get around people. They have tables that don't have chairs, people just stand around them and eat, and we felt like we were inconveniencing them just to walk by. We only had a couple of wine samples and decided we would go somewhere else downtown Wheaton to get some wine. Food was great, service not so much. I don't know if it was because of the tasting that it was so crowded but that was a major turn off. Another con was that the music was so loud that we could not have a comfortable conversation.

I'm a fan of this franchise to begin with, and this location is new and very nice! Cool decor, fresh sushi, and great hot entrees make this a must try when around the downtown Wheaton area.

Way to go Wheaton! I've lived here nearly all my life and rarely visit the restaurants downtown. After a morning meeting my husband and I decided to stop and have lunch. What a great place! Food was very tasty and visually appealing. Service was top notch. Our server, Brittany, explained the menu and was perfectly attentive. We ordered off the lunch menu which offered plenty of choices. We will be back.

The service was horrible. The Hostess was MIA, so a manager had to come out to help us. The waiter was rude, never checked on us and was completely not helpful. My friend ordered a specifically not spicy dish that arrived with huge flakes of hot pepper, in addition to 6 whole hot red peppers. My vegetarian tofu dish was made with maybe 1/3 c. of tofu. Very lame. We did order the veggie fried rice and that was OK.

Went here with a few friends last night, everything was delicious and the service was great. We started of with some crab cake rolls, had sushi for our meal (which was very fresh), and finished off with a sesame banana fritter, the house specialty that the waiter recommended. I definetely go back again just to see the decor! Make sure to try their homeade ginger ale, which can be made virgin or with a variety of flavored vodkas.

I have been here several times and it wasn't until the last time that I was so disappointed I will not be returning. I took my boyfriend here for his first time having sushi on Saturday March 16th because I knew it was half price appetizers, unfortunately the service was one of the worst I have EVER received. The server was also the bartender that night and so he did come semi-promptly to our table to take our drink order without even mentioning his name, ever! And then left us alone for almost 20 mins-and the bar wasn't even busy!! In fact it was after 9, so it really was not booming at all. Anyway, we finally got our food and our server didn't check on us until he decided he would be another rounds of drinks over and ask us "what's up for round 2?" That's when I had it. He made me feel like I needed to look at the menu again and so I did and he left and I asked discussed my distaste for him with the bf and so he snaps his fingers to bring him back over and that we want our check. He was surprised, but such a jerk I left infuriated!!! Even though he was AWFUL I still tipped him 20% to prove him wrong, just because you aren't ordering alcohol doesn't mean you are going to tip bad.

Good service. Delicious food. Sushi was solid, main entres were delicious. Ambiance is a step up from anything in western burbsCity experience right here in Wheaton!

Delicious food. Beautiful atmosphere. My husband and I are vegan. The server didn't immediately know what that meant, but was eager to learn and came back to us after we had ordered to clarify ingredients in their dishes. I felt comfortable that we were served only vegan food, and it was delightful!

I have been to this location several times... Decore is nice, food is great, a convenient location. And there's always parking. I've enjoyed every time I've been here. My husband (who does not enjoy sushi) can always find something good here. I have been able to enjoy their sushi as well as their various selection. Worth the visit.

We shared the Mamma Roll and the St Charles Roll then I had the Orange Peel Shrimp. Everything was great! Love the fresh ginger ale! Chocolate cake for desert. What can be better? I think I'll go back this weekend for more. Service was very helpful too.

If you're craving sushi, happy hour in the lounge is the way to go. It's from 4-7 Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri nights on the lounge side, which is prime dinner time, so it most always works... half off appetizers and standard sushi rolls leaves me with a full and happy belly! I LOVE raw fish but I avoid it here- I just don't think it's a good idea to order raw fish at a place that does mostly other (cooked) entrees. Their cooked rolls, though, are delicious. The coconut shrimp appetizer is the perfect crunchy/sweet/fried combination, and their lettuce wraps rival PF Chang's (or Pei Wei), and the half-off deal makes them a necessity. This isn't fine dining, but it's the perfect place if you're craving delicious flavors and don't want to spend much (from 4-7 on the above days, that is!)

After several disappointing visits to the Wheaton location of Wok n Fire, they've lost my business permanently. Reasons why: 1. The food is not fresh. I had St.Charles rolls during happy hour and it tasted like it had sat under the heat lamp for over an hour. 2. The food is not fresh. I ordered a mango cheesecake and the mangos were spoiled. 3. Another visit I ordered the mango cheesecake and it was FROZEN. 4. The food is not fresh. I ordered vanilla ice cream w some fruit on the side. It was during June 2015 so you would think they would have some sort of fresh fruit. Nope, their fruit selection was spoiled and the presentation was disgusting to look at. I wish they simply said "Sorry, we don't have fruit". 5. The drinks are not consistent. I ordered the fresh ginger ale and EVERY time it tastes different. Too watery, too sweet, not enough ginger, too much ginger. Geesh! 6. The food is not consistent. It's very salty at times but at other branches it taste perfect. There's something wrong in the kitchen at the Wheaton location of Wok n Fire. The Barrington and St. Charles locations are superior and consistent in the quality of the food.

I just love the modern, sleek design in the lounge. The lounge area has really awesome soft lighting that changes color. The downside is the bench seating is rather awkward because the back rest is too far back. The Wok n Roll sushi roll was absolutely one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The eel had a wonderful bbq flavor and the spicy mayo sauce was bursting with flavor. No need for any soy or wasabi when eating this roll. The spicy tuna roll could have used a little more heat and the crazy roll is one I wouldn't order again. I will definitely return because the Wok n Roll was amazing!

This place has a great atmosphere and cool layout. The food is decent, but not the best for the price. There are some better options out there in regards to Asian restaurants for this price. I would say this is a great happy hour spot. Still worth a stop and at the very least they have a great drink selection!

I've been here many times and enjoy the ambiance and the sashimi. BUT the service is Always sub par. Just went tonight and my 8 person party each received one glass of water. My wife ordered wine. Never came. So good but I am not sure I want to come back.

My favorite sushi place so far! Love the speciality rolls, my favorites are the Yum Yun, Vegas, and Tequila rolls. They are half price Wednesday nights in the lounge. They should really do Happy Hour in the dinning room too, because it's practically empty during these times.

  • Tracie D.

Our boys loved the dragon on the wall and Star Wars style lighting! Great decor, extensive menu options. The Ginger Ale is homemade and very gingery, the sushi and other meals were solidly executed. Drink menu is something I'd try the next visit and the groupon offerings make this place a good deal.

Sat at the lounge for 15 minutes and with four waiters, no one bothered to even offer water! Horrible service!

Happy Hour!!!! Half price sushi and drinks! There is pretty much nothing better, and I've never had bad sushi there. I would have given 5 stars had the service been able to handle a Friday evening crowd (last night, they were not). Our table waited way too long for drinks and food, and they actually ran out of soy sauce ramekins causing us to wait even longer to eat. I don't think it was the server, she was trying really hard to keep up, I think it was management or a lack of appropriate staffing. Either way, service is not usually that bad but Friday nights are kind of the point...

    (4)
  • Ken K.

I try to go here to the bar and get a drink but the bartender in no where in site because he also has to wait in 10 tables in the bar with food orders. Poorly managed restaurant

  • Janea L.

This place has the BEST happy hour deals in the Chicagoland area. 4 rolls, 6 drinks for about $50!!!! They are always busy for Happy Hour and it's only in the lounge so it feels like a city restaurant early in the evening. Get there early everyone!!!!!! Went Friday for my friends birthday and Lindsey was our server. Even though it was extremely busy Lindsey was wonderful. Even the manager was taking care of us and checking on us and she was AWESOME so cute and funny. Only complaint: KIDS! why are they everywhere in the bar? and soup isn't the best soup around but who like soup when you have sushi??//? Anyway ask for Lindsey or Alex? Adrian? cant remember but they always take good car of us.

  • Patti G.

I had been here for apps and drinks before and enjoyed them, so decided to come here for dinner. We ordered the pad thai with chicken and the Mongolian with scallops. The pad Thai was swimming in a sauce that was more like a brown stir fry sauce and nothing like a pad Thai. The noodles were permeated with it-ick. I had more than half left and had no desire to take the leftovers home, and I love pad Thai. My husband thought his Mongolian was just ok-but again, too much sauce. If you want pad Thai, go down the street to Mai Thai. I think I'll try Lu's next time ....

    (2)
  • Tricia M.

We have ordered take out from here & more than not, they get our order wrong. The sushi is just okay, the pad Thai is nothing like authentic pad Thai, the fried rice is decent & the desserts are subpar. I wouldn't mind that the food is average if it wasn't so expensive.

    (2)
  • Lindsay S.

I really enjoy dining here and will continue to patronize them as long as they keep up the good wok! (see what I did there?) The bar's really cool to sit in and the drink and sushi specials during happy hour are awesome! This place is perfect to go to when you'd just like to chill a bit after work with friends.

This is my all time favorite place to eat! I have no complaints about Wok n Fire at all. The service is great, they are very quick and you get your food pretty quickly. They have a good size menu so you have many options. The food is very good, it stays warm and they come in good portions. I recommend the crab rangoon and the sweet and spicy chicken.

Great sushi. Mid week they have half price rolls so it makes it more than affordable nice atmosphere with some amazing sculptures on the wall.

  • Claira V.

Went here tonight. Was very disappointed in the sushi. All the rolls that we ordered had way more rice then ingredients. They were also rude when we said we didn't like our cocktails after only taking a few sips out of them. We also purchased the groupon that is suppose to be used for 4 people and not two and they would not fix the problem with it and said it's groupons problem, which we thought was bad customer service on their end. We only tried the place because of the groupon; looks like we know not to purchase the groupons or come back.

Simply delicious meals every single visit! I live in the area so this is a go to sit down restaurant for my girlfriend and I. It's affordable and the portion sizes are incredible! I love Asian fusion so I stuff my face in the wok tossed entrees but for my girlfriend, she's able to get two meals out her dishes every time. My favorite dish and one I would recommend is the Szechwan. The best thing about the entrees too is the fact that you choose what to include with the entree. I always go with chicken and brown rice to include in my plate but they also have steak, tofu, shrimp, noodles, fried rice you name it! Their pad thai entree as well as their sushi is extremely flavorful too. Service has always been on point and they get your order in, and food out to the table quickly. I've never once had a bad experience at this restaurant and I've gone over a dozen times. If you want some great food and a great price, I would strongly recommend Wok n' Fire.

  • Cody W.

I wanted to absolutely love Wok n Fire, but for the money, I have to be honest, THERE IS BETTER. Especially for sushi, but for Chinese too. Their sushi is VERY GOOD, but I've had the same quality sushi for a much lower price. There are simply better options. In terms of regular chinese dishes, they are good, but not for what they charge... $20 for a scallop dish? COME ON CHICAGOLAND, you can do much much better than that. ----- Simply put, there are much better options if you are looking to spend around $13-20 per person

Let me start off by saying the service was great. They were very hospitable and definitely strive to make sure their guest is happy. For example, I told them to order whatever their most popular roll was, which was the Saint Charles roll, turns out there was absolutely no raw fish in it. I told them I was not a fan, so the waiter brought me the salmon sushi roll and voided the first one, without me asking :) and it was definitely delicious! My sister had the Shanghai noodles (which she devoured) and my dad had cashew wok tossed dish. The portion sizes are perfect; we didn't take anything home and we didn't feel disgustingly full once we left. We will definitely be back!!!

Went here for my 21st birthday with my boyfriend in 2013. I love this place, what I love even more is sushi. And this place has amazing sushi. My boyfriend is not a fan of sushi but they had something for him which was chicken teriyaki. He enjoyed that. All in all a great place to eat.

Wok 'n Fire... oh how you've expanded! It seems like yesterday, when you only had one location. Anyway, I'm happy for your success and I'm quite glad you're consistent with your interior, atmosphere, food, and cocktails at your other locations. This review is only regarding happy hour: My party of three shared some edamame, three sushi rolls, chicken satay, and three cocktails all for 30ish buckaroos. I'd say that's a win since that's basically half off. Middle of the week happy hours are great! Not too crowded and discounted food. Sold!

It seems as though every good quality this restaurant has has a downside (as with many Asian fusion restaurants that try to be extremely modern and trendy). I'll start with the crab ragoons: They are delicious! One of the best I've had. The downside(s): They are tiny and very expensive. Your average take-out place will give you the same amount of ragoons (or even more), but larger and cheaper. Also, the dipping sauce for the crab ragoons is basically just Mae Ploy (sweet chili sauce). It comes in a bottle and you can buy this at any international food store. If you want to save money, this is not a good choice. Now, I'm gonna warn you before your read ahead: some items on the menu are listed at a certain price, but they are not the same price when you get the check. I pointed this out to a server once, and he seemed to get annoyed with me, as though I discovered his evil plan. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it was a typing mistake or not (no one is perfect, right?), but the attitude he had was extremely rude and unnecessary. On to the entree dishes. I don't think they're very special. They're good, but they sort of miss the authentic home-made flavor that I absolutely love in Asian cuisine. I've had the Cantonese Orange Peel, Governers, Chap Chae, and Lar Nar. They're extremely sweet (to the point to where they messed up my blood sugar), but not particularly bad; they're just not the best place in the Wheaton area. They also charge more than its worth. $13 for just tofu, $14 for chicken (and you can imagine how much steak, shrimp, and scallops cost at this rate). I think the tastiest thing I have ordered there (aside from the crab ragoons) is the Chap Chae (which does not even have the most authentic Korean flavor). When I think of Asian cuisine, I think of authentic-tasting food with a warm home-made aroma. Here I get sweet and modern. Again, the food is not bad, but not the most authentic, and definitely not the best (especially not for the price). I've had the sushi. It's alright. That's pretty much all I have to say about it. I've had much better sushi, but I've had worse as well. The ambiance is modern and "trendy". Actually, it reminds me of the fire nation from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's dark, the walls are a dark grey (almost black) color, the lighting is mostly reddish, except for the lights that change color. The decor sets the vibe that this is a place for people to drink, or for people who act like they're the coolest thing ever for eating sushi with chopsticks (which isn't always actually authentic). It doesn't have the best atmosphere for eating, unless you go there in the daytime. Also, the music is a bit too loud. Think of Chili's on a Saturday night. It's loud and I swear they even played Nickelback. They play mostly pop music, which is also annoying. I want to enjoy my meal and then there's Chad Kroeger telling me what a photograph is. It would be nice if they could at least play more neutral music at a lower volume. This is not a very family-friendly restaurant. It's dark, the bathrooms are actually a bit of a walk away from the dining area, and it has a very bar/sushi lounge type of vibe (that seems quite strange for Wheaton. It is also not a very relaxing environment, unless you like nightclubs, then I guess this is right up your alley (except there is no awful dancing nor sweaty people). The service is good, though I didn't like that one rude server I mentioned earlier. Sometimes they are understaffed for such a huge restaurant. Having to wait while there are unreserved tables is a little annoying, but at least the servers did not come to work sick (which matters more than waiting 5 minutes).

This place is very very good. The food is always hot and comes in decent size portions. The menu is vast and the service is quick and the waitstaff are always super nice. This place fails to get five stars based on the price of the meals. It's kinda pricy here.

Absolutely the best sushi around. I lived in Chicago for a year and couldn't find anything that rivaled Wok 'n Fire. Great Ladies' Night and happy hours with half-price sushi. Great food and service. Very cool bar.

Our new favorite restaurant! We first tried Wok n Fire on Valentines Day, 2014. Since both my husband and I worked late, we hadn't made any plans to go out for a Valentines dinner. I had a craving for Asian and Sushi, so we drove around Wheaton, trying to find a spot we could get into on the busy night. We finally came upon Wok n Fire and decided to give it a try. Since it was a busy night, they didn't have any tables available in the main dining room, but said we could sit anywhere we wanted on the bar side. It was almost 9 pm and Happy Hour was starting with 1/2 price appetizers and Martini specials. We looked over the menu and were immediately enticed by the large menu. We started with the Maki Roll Sampler. It was delicious. Our favorite was the Spicy Tuna Maki Roll. For dinner I ordered the Crispy Crunchy Roll. So delicious! My husband ordered the Cantonese Orange Peel with Chicken and he loved it. For dessert we shared the Sesame Banana Fritters and Chocolate Martinis. Amazing! We went back last night with my husband's parents for his birthday and it was delicious again. Although a little pricey, I highly recommend Wok n Fire. Great atmosphere, good service, and delicious food. Update...we have been back twice now since our original Feb 2014 visit. The 2nd time was still good and then we went back in April 2015...it was not very good. The dining areas are looking in need of some refreshing and repair (tears in the upholstery) and the sushi was good, but wok dishes we ordered were just okay. I am revising my 5 star review to a 4. I hope things will get better the next time we return.

We've eaten many times, both lunch and dinner, at Wheaton Wok n' Fire, and for a long time it was consistently excellent. However, the last three evening dinners we ate there fell short. Two of the times the miso soup arrived at just over room temperature. Bleah. Two times the main course was very late and the waiter apologized and said "the kitchen is really backed up." And this last time, we order a large Pho soup, and there were TWO TEASPOONS in the bottom of the soup bowl, under the vegetables! It just seems like they are not at the level of quality control they once were. I hope they get the kitchen in order again.

The only things I've had here are a few appetizers and sushi, but the sushi was delicious. Lots of variety with fair prices. The fried rice is very fresh, and isn't weighed down with heavy umami flavor. Coconut shrimp skewers are also on point.

Honestly...good sushi went there after visiting a friend in the hospital. We felt that the service was very good. I would definitely go back next time I am around.

Last night was the second time for my husband and I to visit this location. We have been to the Addison location a few times as well. Both times to the Wheaton location have been fantastic! Our server (both times) was Katie and she was super helpful in suggesting dishes/ variations and in checking with the kitchen and bar to answer any requests. We are vegetarian and we were stuffed by the time we left - lots of great options. Asked for an idea for a drink by just telling her what I like in general and she brought out a drink that was awesome. Great combo by the bar of ginger and rum. Reasonably priced - maki rolls/ entree/ dessert/ drinks for under 50$. The decor and atmosphere are great as well. Beautiful restaurant. Thanks for a great evening celebrating our anniversary!

Only been there for happy hour a few times now and for that they deserve 4 stars. Good food at the happy hour price. I'd say overpriced at the regular price. Would love if happy hour extended to patio. Ambiance is certainly trendy.

Our favorite spot when in the area. The food is always delicious. My husband and son love the sushi, it's prepared fresh and the presentation is beautiful. I have tried most of the menu, the flavors are always exceptional. Great drinks menu and excellent service make this restaurant fantastic.

There are so many better places in the same price range for much better sushi. The decor is really cool, funky and dark. The service was alright, nothing impressive. The sushi was mediocre. Kiku in Naperville is so much better, with a better atmosphere and service. The summer rolls were not good, we weren't really happy with anything here. One of my party said they make a good Cosmo so if you go for that kinda thing maybe the bar wouldn't be too bad. Wouldn't come again, wouldn't recommend.

This place has great sushi. I recommend the dragon roll. Good food and also a good place to grab a drink. The bar and restaurant have a fun clubby vibe. The restaurant is dark with colorful lights. Can be a little loud.

Great food went there tonight third visit and the food was great the service was great the waiter was on top of are order and always checking how everything was we had the spicey tuna rolls best I have had in the area the spicey scallops was to die for just the right amount of spice. What a gem! Finally, Downtown Wheaton is getting more "hip". I went here with my Mom on a Monday night, and it was a pretty good crowd. A huge place, when you walk in, to the left is the bar, and then the to the right is the sushi bar and the restaurant area. Now onto the most important part, the food. It is really nice to have a nice place in Wheaton like this. Of course you have the old staples of Asian food, such as Pad Thai, Fu Yuan, Luong Lui/Loi (spelling). We wanted to party, so WOK N FIRE ASIAN FUSION WAS MY MOM'S SELECTION, and since she was paying, and I was heading out of town the next day I wanted to stick it to her with the bill (just kidding, love you Mommy). Anyway we walked in and we seated by our waiter, James. First off, my mom thought I had a crush on this guy because I addressed him by name several times. I don't love him, I just like being personable. Anyway, the staff was great. James brought us water, answered a question about a sauce I had, and was always roaming. I got my food from a different waitress and a different man (the host) took our bill. A GREAT TEAM EFFORT AT WOK N FIRE...nice job. The food: I started with Spinach Egg Drop Soup. Since I like trying new things, I highly recommend. It was so light, with corn, white pepper, and sesame oil. Think of this as the Juan Pierre of my meal. The table setter. Up next, the 2 spot (MY MOM) She got Pad Thai, and could not even finish it (loser). She wanted me to finish it, but I had my hands and mouth full from my food. This is why I grew up obese, but instead of pad thai, she would give me fries; my dad was way worse though. I am not obese anymore. Karma is a b*tch, because he struggles big time with his weight now. That is mean to say, but then again, I grew up being called fatty thanks to him....hahah HARSH (laughing right now, outloud). What did I order? Well, after James told me the sauce that I wanted did not have heavy gravy, I ordered the Spicy Shanghai, sauce on the side with scallops. The scallops came breaded, which I wasn't expecting, It was panko, so it was ok. This was wheat noodles with a good amount of veggies. Really glad I got sauce on the side, because it was very sugary and I only dipped occassionally. THESE SCALLOPS KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF (and I was wearing tube socks). I also got a side order of spinach with garlic....sorry who ever sits next to me on the plane tomorrow, I am not brushing my teeth until we have a 4 hour convo about capitalism vs. communism, or some other subject that requires a lot of emphasis...haha.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. As previously mentioned, if I were cheating on my wife, I would take her here because of the decor, darkness, and mystery of Asian FUSION! This place "WOKS"....ahhahahaha....anybody?

Wok 'n Fire: Our new favorite restaurant in downtown Wheaton. I ordered the St Charles Roll as well as a lychee pear martini. The drink was good and the roll was excellent! The roll was a large portion that left me feeling full by the end of the meal. My husband ordered a stir-fry dish and he had to keep swatting my fork away from his plate; it was that good!. I like that they offer the option of either white rice or brown rice with the entrees. The service was attentive on both visits, although we visited when the restaurant was quite empty. We can't wait for our next visit!

Ew. I don't understand the hype of this place at all! I don't think I've ever had more gross sashimi. We started off with crab rangoon which was good, but I don't think that's something that can be messed up. Next we got a couple of standard rolls- cucumber, avocado and tuna they were all just fine, once again you can't really mess these up. Lastly our sashimi came.....we ordered scallop, super white tuna & octopus as well as a hamachi carpaccio plate. I honestly have never had such bad quality fish! The octopus was chewy, which isn't abnormal for octopus but the slices were HUGE, meaning we couldn't eat it. The hamachi was extremely fishy tasting...gross. And then, the super white tuna, aka the absolute WORST part of our meal- I'm gagging just thinking about it. The fish was extremely fishy tasting and so tough that it was IMPOSSIBLE to bite through. I really can't understand why people rave about Wok 'N Fire..maybe people in the suburbs haven't had good sushi? I don't know. I will not be back & I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!

  • Jeannine M.

I have eaten here on a handful of occasions and every time left feeling we spent a lot of money for very poor quality sushi, small portions of sushi and cooked meals. The only reason we would come back several times was because we had a Groupon. I will never be back!!!! Or any of my friends that have come with me!!!! My last visit we had hamachi carpaccio, salmon carpaccio, Mexican roll, tiger roll and the seaweed salad. Both carpaccio dishes had ok quality pieces mixed with some pieces of fish that were fishy tasting, not fresh. The salmon carpaccio sauce wasn't mixed well enough and huge clumps of mayo. The Mexican roll was 5 pieces for $13 with about 1/2 ounce of tuna throughout the whole roll. Really. It was more like a rice roll. And $7 for a small seaweed salad is ridiculous. The cooked dishes are super small portions. When I eat out I don't want the feeling that I need to order another whole entry to feel full. I eat like that at home! Barely any meat in the Pad Thai or any of the noodle dishes we had ordered in the past. Food - poor. Ambience - cool and hip. Service - poor (every time we went, as soon as you receive your food they forget about you) There are way better quality sushi places worth the drive!!

In a word: horrible. I'm referring to the service, not the food. We were seated at a table significantly too small for our party size (9) and left alone without menus or a drink order for a solid 20 minutes before our waitress greeted us. We watched an adjacent table have two different servers visit them 4 times before we were visited once. Aside from our food being mediocre and cold (yes, I know sushi is cold but many of our plates should have been hot) the entire atmosphere seemed to be lacking. Our water glasses stood empty our entire meal, our waitress tool our orders (finally) with disdain, and when the check finally came it already includes a 20% gratuity for our completely ignorant and incompetent server. Had this been any other night I would ignore the entire dinner, but I specifically made the reservation for my sisters 30th birthday and made that clear to them that it was a special occasion. Needless to say after many previous visits none in our party will be returning.

So disappointed! I have eaten here three times. A few of the appetizers are pretty good but the rest of the menu is poor. I especially do not like their maki rolls. It's overpriced and the staff is cold. Walk three blocks over to Sushi Mono - now that is place that knows sushi!

Long story Short- this place is a joke. Had a 15 people party for a celebration during happy hour. They not only lost our reservation, but the bartender was so ill mannered. Ive so far been to a couple Wok N Fire locations...and havent had much luck with their service. The bartender not only shut the music off before closing- but voiced to other customers around the bar that he did it to "give those people over there the clue that we need to leave" when we clearly talked with the manager and she told us we could stay as long as we wanted. I mean- we had a large party and were celebrating and they were lucky we chose their restaurant to give them business. This goes to say-- as I have heard that the owners of this chain is ill mannered, unhappy, and a little too prideful that it rubs off on his employees. They also have doors that shut on people once a certain time hits..so if you go to the bathroom you get locked into the dingy hallway and have to walk outside to get back into the restaurant. Dont you think they would have had the brains to figure that this isnt safe for customers? All in all this chain has been on the low end of my restaurant experiences and will be telling all my friends never to go there again. The food is not authentic and service- well-- the 1 star rating says it all.

I met a friend here for lunch and I would have to say this isn't a lunch-type place in my book. Maybe if you were having an affair, but the atmosphere here is more dinner-like. It's dark in here even though we sat by the windows. The lighting is dark and the furniture is dark and it just has this evening atmosphere. Anyway, I had the mahi mahi with mango sauce and it was delicious. My friend had the sushi sample platter and she said it was good too. There weren't many people in the place, so we had people checking in with us quite frequently to see if we needed anything, drink refill, etc. That was nice and then it got annoying. I hadn't seen my friend for about 6 months and we were trying to catch up. After they gave us the check, we kind of ignored it and chatted some more and they kept coming by to see if they could take it. There were several empty tables, so it wasn't like we were taking up a paying customer's spot! Ok, sorry for the digression. The place is a nice addition to Wheaton's downtown dining. It is much different from anything else they offer and is a welcome addition. The Mom in me says that this is not a good place for kids for a few reasons. First of all, I did not see any kid-friendly options on the menu. I'm talking about nuggets and that stuff for those kids that won't try new food. Another non-kid friendly item is the seating. They do have a few large booths which could contain a toddler or take an infant in a car seat, but the table setup has tables VERY close together. So if you have a fidgety kid, it's not good. So all you parents, bring your wife/hubby here for a kid free date night and you are set!

I have mostly been impressed with this place. I have always had pretty good food. Mostly ordered sushi however I have had some noodle dishes. The only thing about this place is that the service can be a little slow. Even on a night where they're aren't very many people.

Hidden gem in the heart of wheaton downtown. When you look from outside, you don't feel what's inside. But the interior is grand, I mean one of the best chinese high end restaurant i have ever been to. Love the food too, even our samantha was great in making us we got all vegetetian dish. I will be there more and more. Five stars for you.

HORRIBLE FOOD. OVERPRICED. The sushi offerings are all very, very strange. it's difficult to describe, but the combinations of flavors and ingredients are just plain WEIRD. The Schezuan chicken dish was SO SPICY I could not eat it. And I love spicy pan-Asian cuisine. But this dish was unbearably spicy. Also, the chicken and veggies tasted OLD. The service was lackluster. When deciding on what drinks to order, the guy seemed very annoyed and disinterested in helping my group figure out what to drink. I will not be coming back here EVER AGAIN.

Decor and atmosphere is kinda cheesy and doesn't really fit the area lol but I guess they get the points for standing out right? Their service was ok, nothing spectacular, and it wasn't necessarily bad. Their sushi is literally JUST A-OK. Absolutely nothing special about it. It's a chain and the name makes you think Chinese food, but they add sushi in their just because that's where the money's at. Their sushi was actually better than what I had expected. The nigiri pieces were of decent size and the cut wasn't super thin like most ridiculous places. They have a lot of random crazy rolls like any other place, but they definitely did have their basics down. Unfortunately they don't carry uni, but I guess that's expected out of a place like this. Their best dish was their side dish, the stir fry spinach with garlic. That was mouth watering good! Something I would expect at a 5 star steak house.

I don't know what I like about this place, may be the newness of the ambiance, maybe it was the Korean BBQ tacos... It's cozy, appropriate for both a quiet dinner and a loud party (the other room) Need to try their menu a few times to form a better opinion.

We enjoyed our visit today. Definitely would go back and plan to bring more people. We didn't have any sushi but I'd definitely eat it here and not shy away. I'm from the west just blocks from the Pacific, so I'm a bit of a skeptic with raw fish in the middle of the country... but this place seemed to use high quality seafood from what I observed. They have fresh ginger ale and it's delicious! They use fresh ginger to make it. Definitely worth a try. We had vegetable eggrolls to start and they were excellent with a sweet rice vinegar dipping sauce. I liked it a lot better than the traditional sweet and sour sauces that accompany most eggrolls. My husband had the Kung Pao chicken with brown rice and I had a Spicy Schezwan with whole wheat noodles and veggies. We both enjoyed our meals but did not feel they were amazing. I would order something different next time. My plate was sweeter with a thicker sauce I didn't enjoy so much. I prefer a spicier dish but found it to be sweeter than expected with a "spicy" indicator on the menu. I'd stick with our favorite, Pei Wei for the dishes at a fraction of the price. The presentation of every meal we saw was fantastic. The ambiance was fantastic. It's located just south of the train tracks in Wheaton and the interior is upscale, classy, and inviting. Overall we enjoyed the visit and look forward to trying their sushi next time we visit and possibly some different entrees. They also have an extensive, creative cocktail list and a large, separate bar-- it's in an entirely different room which makes it even more attractive as the bar was considerably louder. You can order full menu in the bar as well and it's quite spacious! Sign up for emails and get a $10 off $25 for your next meal (if used within 14 days!). Not bad!!

Love this place. The wait staff is hit or miss. They seem to have a problem keeping good quality people. IF they could get that right......I THINK THEY WOULD MAKE A LOT MORE money, and have many more return customers along the way. Most times during happy hour and such, the lounge seems understaffed, and the hours open are pretty lame. ONLY until 9pm...really? I love the Lettuce wraps, and many of the rolls......

Came here for lunch today, they had a special. It's got a pretty cool atmosphere, the bf and I agreed it must look really cool at night. We got the dumpling appetizer and they were really good, reminded me of pot stickers. I had the mongolian wok special. It was pretty good, a lot of food! Overall, I liked this spot but I found it a bit pricey. Also, the cuisine isn't one type of Asian-- it had Chinese, Japanese, even Thai. So if you don't mind an eclectic mix of Americanized, modern Asian dishes and a little dent in the wallet, then this might be worth a trip!

A wide variety lunch options and generous portions at a low price. My sweet and spicy chicken was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. I loved how the green tea was served to me in a traditional Japanese pot, the little details really make me appreciate this place even more. The restaurant itself is spacious and beautiful. It's my new favorite lunch spot in the area and I'll definitely come back to try out the other lunch specials.

Incredibly fresh and clean tasting food that is enhanced by the delightfully light sauces served with it. No greasy or heavy oily tastes here, just wonderful fresh flavor in every bite. The Yakitori Beef and Malaysian Chicken Rolls were simply outstanding.Great service and interesting decor only added to a fantastic dining experience.

Food was good. Sushi was great. I love that u have the option to choose brown rice or white rice. But the service is absolutely terrible the hostesses never at her host stand, on one of our visits we had to wait 15 minutes to get water, and another 10 mins to get are drinks. The service will make me never go back

I love Wok 'n Fire! Every bit of it. A great staff, amazing food (Spicy Shanghai Noodle is my favorite) and great ambience. Visit the bar at some point during your visit. Homemade Ginger Ale is also worth the trip. Can't wait to go back!!

Maybe it was what we ordered? Two noodle dishes and a special with pork loin and coconut rice. The noodles were incredibly salty and the pork loin was a bit dry. I wouldn't mention the pork being dry if it were a wok'ed dish for 7-12$. A special commanding 18$ on a menu should be executed well each time. All in all, I liked the decor and the service was indeed friendly. Their Japanese draft beer was a huge portion and cut the sodium quite a bit. Our kids loved the dragon and the sushi bar light/art installation. We'll try here again to see if it was what we ordered. Downtown Wheaton needs a restaurant like this. Hopefully, they pull it off.

" You can't judge a book by its cover ". There were 7 of us (5 adults and 2 children 2-4 yrs old). On a Monday night 6:30p - 7p, I counted 25 in the restaurant (including us). From outside and in the entry, the restaurant appeared impressive. However, within, the service and the food was poor ! Service was slowwww, and food was blandddd. Not only was service slowww for us, but I saw the few other tables waitttt for their waitress and/or food. The waitress that took our order got 2 of our orders wrong and tried to blame it on us, saying we ordered something different. I know what I and the other person ordered, and others at our table heard us order what we had said, but the waitress and/or chef wanted to serve us what they wanted us to eat. In the end, the bill finally came and WOW ! co$tly to eat there. We all agreed we won't give Wok 'n Fire, Wheaton, another try. We're sorry to say, we can't recommend Wok 'n Fire in Wheaton to others. The saying is correct, " You can't judge a book by its cover ".

Went to Wok n Fire on a lazy Sunday afternoon.. It's nice to see that DT Wheaton is gaining new restaurants, but I'm not too sure what Wok n' Fire brings to the table. Our food was typical chain-restaurant Chinese..seaseme chicken, orange chicken, white rice, and an order of edamame. Atmosphere: I hate to be too critical, but I don't think the 'scene' really fits with conservative downtown Wheaton. I'm all for elaborate decor, but I think this place was a little overdone. Service: Our service was nothing special - first, we walk in and are half-ass greeted by a young hostess. Then, were seated at our table only to receive another half-ass greeting by our server. He was very forgetful, and we had to ask for our drinks a couple of times. Maybe he was inexperienced- but my assumption, by the persona he projected, was that he'd been smokin' a little somethin' prior to his shift..

We have been here a few times. What I like is the food and drinks. I've never been unhappy with anything I've ordered. The drinks are really good and the potion size of the food is great for the price. Why not 5 stars then.... well it can get a bit loud and they have the music a little loud too. Hard for conversation. They have recently added booth decides which is really nice for a sense of privacy, but if you are at a table its like you eating with strangers. We just get there early so that we can sit where we want. Overall I love this place.

Really enjoyed this place . Great ambiance . We had a great staff serve us . and most of all the food was AMAZING ! We had sushi , (Avocado Roll, California Roll , Philly Roll ) Very Good ! The hand rolled crab rolls were very good dipped in teriyaki . Then we finished with the Govoner's Wok Tossed bowl , which really was tasty .

Went here again today! It was awesome(again)! Today I went with a bigger group, and split food with my friend. We had the sesame chicken, and some noodle dish with steak. The steak was delicious!!!! So so sooooo good! The orange chicken was awesome too, but the steak was so good. The chicken had mango sweet and sour sauce. Yummmm. We also had the spring rolls/egg rolls again. They were so good. And the sushi sample appetizer was pretty good too. Mmmmmm I think this place might become my new favorite. UPDATE: I was reading through the other reviews, and they do have kids menus that are separate from the normal menus. There's chicken fingers and stuff. You probably wouldn't know about it unless you had your kids with you, because that's the only time they give them.

First of all, the ambiance at this place is totally cool. Hostesses - not so much. We called ahead on a Friday night, and when we got there the girl told us we were next in line. After about 8 or so tables left, and 45 minutes later - we were finally seated. Not cool. So - on to the food. We ordered the crab hand rolls as an appetizer. These were awesome, but pretty small. The Asian slaw that accompanies them is equally awesome. I ordered the sesame chicken for my entree. It was very good! It could have used just a tad more sauce, but the chicken was nice and crispy, just like me like! My partner had the salmon salad. She said it was excellent and had big chunks of fresh mango. They were also quite generous with the salmon. It was fresh, and very tasty. We then ordered the crispy crunchy maki roll. Ick! Skip this one. The quality was good, but the texture was mushy. They use Panko bread crumbs around the outside, and the inside is very creamy. Have you ever had homemade peanut butter balls? They are terrific, but that's what the texture of these reminded me of. We told the waiter we weren't crazy about them. He apologized but didn't seem to care much, probably because we used a Groupon. Anyway, this is a good place overall. I would definitely return, especially for the atmosphere. I am dying to try their Ginger Ale and vodka as well as their desserts!

This place is huge! Feels more like a warehouse than an intimate restaurant, but i think this was intentional. Came with a group, sat in a very large corner booth we enjoyed. The food was good, but I can't remember what I ordered. Some kind of sushi.

Ate here just the other night and it was truly fantastic. GREAT decor and music which combined for a nice vibe. Sushi was very good especially the Godzilla roll. Could have passed on the Jalapeno Popper roll- it was on special but should be killed off the menu - rather tasteless. Took awhile to get our food and waitress forgot my miso soup but all in all a very good time. Could have been that it was a long week and the couple of large Asahi beers hit the spot but I think this is a good place and I will definitely be back. Need a little hip in the burbs and this place delivered on that and the sushi - with the exception of the Jalapeno Roll - KILL IT!

Tried this place when visiting from out of town. Funky and hip Asian fusion decor but awful acoustics which made this place very noisy place. The food was good but not exceptional. The Chinese food is not much different than what you can find at P.F. Chang's. The sushi were comparable to those of other sushi places in the area. The service was not good at all. We had a rude waitress whose only answers to our requests were "Yeah!". She never checked on how we like the food, if we needed something and did not even thank us when we left. Will I go back there next time I am in Wheaton? I think I will check out some other places......

Never had a bad experience at any of the Wok'n Fire locations. Their newest location in Wheaton has a large bar area separate from the main dining area. Bigger is better and that includes the seating on the sushi bar, where you can watch your roll being crafted. Super friendly staff and consistently good food will keep me as a loyal customer to all their locations.

Food was great, service was great, and it was very nice inside. Only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is cost is a bit high, but I guess you get what you pay for. We will be going back.

What a great place to have in downtown Wheaton! It's very modern and trendy. I was thrilled to try this place out as there isn't anything like it in the downtown area. It's a fairly large restaurant with both a lounge/bar area and a dining room. Our waiter suggested their house made ginger ale. It was delicious. They have quite a variety of dishes, Asian salads, appetizers, and sushi. One of my friends tried the wheat noodles and she enjoyed that dish. Another had the pad thai with tofu and she enjoyed that as well. I had sushi and it tasted very fresh.

Consistency is not something Wok N Fire is good at. I love their terriyaki steak, and always order it medium. Tonight is was well done, not medium. The only thing that is consistant is that their rice and vegetables will not be hot. I always order the fried rice, it is luke warm as is the brocolli. It's like they plate the fried rice and brocolli and it cools off while they wait for the steak to cook. Sometimes the broccoli has a garlic flavor to it, sometimes it just steamed.

Great looking restaurant inside. Great food, okay service. A little pricey on the sushi but even that was very enjoyable. When you sit down by the sushi bar, sometimes the sushi masters will give you samples of what they're making. Great atmosphere on top of it. Also on the other side is the bar and lounge-- which is very inviting.\ Edit 8/8:: So after visiting yet again, as usual the service was just horrid. We were done with our food for 5 minutes before she came over and asked if we needed boxes for the left overs. Then brought the boxes, without a bag, after we asked. the food is GREAT, just be prepared for SLOW service. And dont drink your drink too fast, because you never know when you will get a refill. I hate that im taking a star away from them, but i can NOT stand repeated bad service. Especially from an above average restaurant.

To be honest...if you're going to get dressed up and spend the money to go out to eat, to me this place isn't worth it. Although I enjoy that they have a happy hour with reduced prices, it is SO SO crowded. Not only that but it is very loud and the service is slow. Also, the food does not taste fresh at all. It seems like frozen food. Nothing really unique or homemade - just average food you almost feel you could get at a take-out place.

  • Tricia M.

We have ordered take out from here & more than not, they get our order wrong. The sushi is just okay, the pad Thai is nothing like authentic pad Thai, the fried rice is decent & the desserts are subpar. I wouldn't mind that the food is average if it wasn't so expensive.

Sold!

Place is good- good sushi too... A little on the high priced side but worth the few extra dollars.
