We love this chik fil a. Today was cow appreciation day so if you dressed like a cow you got a free meal!!! This location is always very clean, quick, and has great customer service! The employees are very cheerful and are always walking around asking if you need anything. There is also a play area at this location and outdoor seating!!!

I love Chick-fil-A and I like this one better than Lombard. My 4 year old loves the play area. I am a bit sad they changed the grilled chicken recipe. I preferred the old one. Tuesday is family night. They generally have activities going on. Avoid it if you don't want to hang out with stay-at-home moms and their super wonderful children.

The staff is the nicest I've experienced in a fast food place..... ever...

Ahhhh, CFA. Can anyone else bathe in the CFA sauce? No? Just me? I went too far. Anyway, I really don't like chicken but I could eat the original chicken sandwich for days. I order extra pickles and add a little mayo. They also have waffles fries, the King of all fries. Get a side of ranch and you have a party in your mouth. I haven't heard good things about the nuggets but the strips are meaty and you can order a 3 or 4 piece. This location is typical CFA. Awesome food and even better customer service. I once had a bone in my sandwich and received a call from the owner the next day apologizing. Life-long customer!

So many school spirit nights and the like going on here. I'm fine with because Chickfila = yum in my book. Getting into the parking lot nearly always confuses me but what can you do?

It feels a little ridiculous reviewing a Chick-fil-A but I'm the guy who reviews McDonald's, Burger Kings, Wendy's and pretty much anywhere I'm able to eat so it's only fair to review Chick-fil-A. The service here is fast, friendly, and it's obvious that the employees take pride in their jobs and in themselves. The chicken is delicious. The store is clean. What more can I say, really? It's a good place to get delicious chicken. It's fast food but fast food done with pride and that's a rare thing.

Seriously?! Pickles on a chicken sandwich? Makes me want to go murder cows. Very overpriced for what it is. Drive down to portillos and get an all around better chicken sandwich.

I lived in Cincinnati for a short time after college, and fell in love with Chick-fil-A while living there. They have FINALLY made their way to Chicago. Everything is good here. Literally. The chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets. The waffle fries (not very much seasoning, so may not be a hit with those who like really salty fries). The milkshakes are to DIE for. I don't see how you could not be satisfied. The only downside...they are closed Sundays.

Oh the joys of Chick-fil-A... you'd think you're family or old friends coming in here the way the staff greets you. Polite staff, very willing to help customers in any way (seriously, I'm sitting here watching as this one employee helps wrangle a suitable seating situation for about half a dozen new mothers and their babies), the man at the register informed me of all my options with my meal, and the restaurant is very clean with flowers on the tables. I don't know how often you call your food pretty, but my Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap is just that! It looks colorful and fresh and tastes just as good as it looks (and when does that ever happen)! Waffle fries taste good, coffee is (hold on, taking a sip...) good, the avocado lime ranch dressing is a nice touch, and all in all I am very pleased! Also a plus, Wi-Fi is fast and painless! Prices are a little higher than your normal fast-food place but this is, no duh, not regular fast-food! It really is great-- food, atmosphere, staff, the works, definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Update already: Seriously, this staff! Came and cleared my stuff for me and have twice checked on me to make sure I was still doing alright and if I need a coffee refill. Anyone who says this is like your average McD's or Wendy's might be crazy.

Simply amazing!! Best chicken sandwich around by far. this place and portillo's are the only " fast food " places I will eat at. The staff at the Wheaton location are very pleasant and friendly, have never had a bad experience since they opened.

Every time I go the food is hot; chicken with just the right amount of crisp and a truly flavorful batter; delicious fries that aren't overly greasy; real delicious Southern sweet tea. The fact that the place is clean and the service is always friendly are just tremendous bonus points. And where else can you go for great FREE activities for your kids on a weeknight? Love, love, love Chick-fil-A!

Chick fil a is hands down the best place to get a fast food chicken sandwich. If you don't like I wouldn't order from anywhere else. Their business model is amazing and they have a huge emphasis on customer service. I've never had great customer service like I get at chick fil a at any other fast food restaurant. Example they have someone that works the lobby that will offer to refresh your beverage most of the time. They are always polite and cheerful when taking your order. The other thing and the most important is that they are consistent. Look I love to throw down when it comes to food. I'm adamant about the quality, freshness, taste and the list goes on. Chick fil a hits on all cylinders no matter which one I go to. You don't get that from any other fast food joint.

How did I not review this during the Chick Fil Gay controversy? I thought it was funny how people were protesting this place because of that whole deal. You know what the best protest is? Not buying food from there! I've had their Char Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I'd put this in the same category as Wendy's and McDonald's, but not Culver's, Five Guys, Smashburger etc. I guess you just have to be from the south to like this place, like Waffle House?

My first visit, stop tisking your tongue at me. LOL Their menu is changing on Monday, April 29, 2013. They are adding new salads and I don't see anyone has tried their breakfast menu. Take note, not everything offered is chicken. I enjoyed a most delicious chicken sandwich. They offer a lot of sauces, so why not try them all. And, you can request additional containers if you find a particular one that you enjoy. Their side dishes are not your typical small container ~ i.e. there were waaaaaaaaaaay more than 2 spoonfuls of cole slaw per order. If there are any other first timers out there, this is how it works. You enter, place your order, they ask for a name, you find a table, and your food is brought out to you. When finished, there is staff working the dining area that will gladly take your garbage. The staff ~ some of the kindest, friendliest, most accommodating people I have ever met. Cindy stopped by and chatted, then found out I was a first timer, and spent a little time asking for feedback and my reaction. I felt very welcomed and would not hesitate to visit again in the future. Eat more chicken :) Oh, and they have a play area for the little ones.

This is the place to go when you want chicken. The chicken is fried in peanut oil & the breasts are very meaty & always taste delicious. The waffle fries never disappoint as well as they are always tasty. The shakes are good and so is the soup. The staff is always friendly & courteous. Try a breaded chicken sandwich w/cheese and add bacon to it, yummy!

Not sure what the big deal about Chick Fil A is; It's a solid fast food restaurant with good workers, but the food isn't that special in my opinion. Maybe I need to visit again, but I got a chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and a fruit bowl. Kind of pricey, but I guess that's what happens when you try to eat healthy. This restaurant is on theother side of town of where I live, so I'm not sure I'll be back. I'd like to reiterate how nice the staff is, though. Eat More Chikin?

Great food, great service. Really no complaints at all. And very close to Studio Movie Grille. So you can go to Chick-fil-A when you forget to early reserve seats. not that I've ever done that, of course!

My husband raved about this place (they've been down in the south forever). I'm not a fan of fast food, but if you've got to eat fast, this place is an awesome choice. Tasty (and relatively healthy) chicken choices, and fruit on the menu. I've tried the original chicken sandwich and the new spicy chicken bfast biscuit (for free! Sign up for their emails!). Now, if they would just put one in Lisle...

I don't like chicken, but I love Chick-Fil-A's. I don't know what it is about it but I just get this feeling inside! Maybe it's the tenderness of the meat, the freshness, the enticing aroma, the warm feeling I get from being treated as a guest, maybe it's the shake making my butt bigger (my husband just loves that). Of course you're going to pay slightly more, it's not horse slop from McDonald's. The divine flavors caressing my tongue and tickling my earlobes forces me to accept the price I must pay to experience the blissful sensation of Chick-Fil-A sauce dripping down my fingers as I stuff a tender into my anticipating mouth. Whatever your opinion is of the food, no one can take customer service away from Chick-Fil-A. You will never have a more pleasant experience with fast food than at the drive thru window or while ordering at the counter. The staff not only is fully willing to go out of their way to satisfy the customer but is also one of the most pleasant bunches of people I've ever seen in the workplace. You know how you go to Wendy's or McDonalds and all the workers are somewhat suicidal looking? Ya, not here. Finally, the staff maintains a very clean store, I'd feel comfortable eating in the bathroom. Can't say I've ever said that before. I laugh about all the Chick-Fil-A controversy. The pro-LGBT crowd and it's supporters have declared a boycott on this company. Ya, looks like they're really hurting from the lack of business, so much in fact that I've seen 2 new stores go up within the last 2 weeks. Times are tough man.

Hubby was working late so the kids and I went out for dinner. It's so nice to go to a family friendly restaurant where they offer to help you to the table and kept saying "it's my pleasure". I'm not a big fan of their chicken nuggets (very small and just awkward) so I ordered my kids (3 years and 1 1/2 years) each the chicken strip meal not was much better and they both really liked it. Also i like they had milk and gave you a nice mix of fruit for the kids. I ordered the grill chicken sandwich which was fair. And we all enjoyed the waffle fries! Overall we would come back. And next time I might try the new service where you can order in the drive through and while you park they setup a table for you with your drink and food!

If you need any more motivation to make a pit stop here other than the Chick-Fil-A chikin sammich or those tasty waffle fries, then let it be the service. Any request is answered with a "my pleasure". So pleasant. This particular CFA is somewhat cramped. The tables are squished together, and the roped off area by the registers meant to herd the chikin-consuming cattle (that would be you and me, etc, etc) into a line isn't very roomy. CFA wins me over time and time again.

  • Marie N.

I can't explain why their chicken is so delicious but it just is. I love that they serve Diet Dr. Pepper. Waffle fries were good. Cole slaw is ok, not as good as KFC. Restaurant is clean. My latest gripe for fast food restaurants is that I'd like them all to adopt the Burger King and Wendy's queue for ordering. Have one ordering line but multiple registers so that the first in line is the first out of line. Unfortunately, Chick-fil-A does not do this. They have the Mac Donald's model of multiple registers and the customer hopes they get in a line that moves fast. This restaurant has a play area for the kids also.

Great food, great atmosphere, but most important, great employees. Every time I go here the employees just blow me away. They are so kind and helpful. I was there during the "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" and even though the lines were wrapping around the building everyone was in such a great mood, the employees didn't get stressed out, and it was a lot of fun. One experience I had was very memorable. I was sitting by the window and another table noticed an older gentleman sitting out in the parking lot. They thought he was protesting, so I looked out and noticed his knee was bleeding. I went and got an employee and headed out to help him, but the employee and his manager said they would take care of everything. They brought him back into the store, cleaned and bandaged his knee and his other scratches. Then they brought him all new food (he had tripped and his food went all over), and they treated him to a dessert that he hadn't originally ordered. They made sure he was okay, and walked him out to his car to make sure everything was okay. I was very impressed.

Exactly how I like my chickens...dead and fried and tasty. Service at this location is over the top; very friendly and eager to please. Yummy!

As my man, John Lennon once said "I dig a chicky, by Charles Hawtrey and the Deaf Aids. Phase One, in which Doris gets her fries." Ok, so maybe that doesn't work. And maybe it's not cool to like Chick-fil-A. So be it. I ain't scared. When I need a nice comfort-food-grease-coat fix, I head here. Don't worry, I get the DIET lemonade, with my side of fried chicken and pillow-yet-crunchy waffle friggin' fries. I have a fetish for dipping sauce...of which CFA has a-plenty. I dip dip dip the CFA Nuggets in Buffalo AND Chick-Fil-A sauce because I am just that cray. It's the right combo of a tangy, creamy, salty, holy drool-fest. There was this one day I decided to get the chicken wrap (it wasn't a stressful or hormonally-charged day, I guess), and it was actually pretty good! Do I crave it? No, but just know there are options to the fried fry fest of awesomeness. And don't worry, I won't judge.

If this restaurant was on my way to work I'd be a lot poorer and a lot heavier. So many times I leave on lunch to run a few errands and pass McDonalds and Burger King and KFC and Hardees and 3 dozen other places and every time I just keep on driving. I'd rather eat a few apples at my desk. On the rare occasion I find myself near Danada at a meal time I get all giddy. I drool down my front, my knees start to shake, and all I can think about is the spicy chicken deluxe and a lemonade. It's possible I would tire of it if they put one in on route 64, but it would take many thousands of dollars worth of research to get that answer.

Look, sometimes you need a quick lunch near the Butterfield/Naperville Road wasteland. Get a chicken sandwich, skip the waffle fries, and enjoy. Not that pricey if you think about it... Improve the bun and they'd be set. Seriously, not a bad chicken fillet. Otherwise, proceed up north on Naperville Road to Mapo for some excellent Taiwanese "to go" fare.

We went here the other night on a Thursday- they said it was "spirit night" and I think it was a fundraiser for a local church. It felt CHAOTIC. There were people all crowded by a little table near where you order and it was almost impossible to walk anywhere- pretty frustrating but boy did everyone else seem to be having fun. I continue to find this location more stressful and loud than other locations. The reason I wanted to update my review is that they have new salads! I had the Cobb Salad and I LOVED it. As I was eating it I was plotting when the next time I could come back to have it again would be! It was so delicious. I don't know if they always do this or if this was just a one time thing, but I don't like cheese on my salads and most fast food places pre-make their salads with cheese already on them so I'm out of luck. I asked if I could order one without cheese and they asked the manager who made it for me! I really appreciated that. The salad is full of romaine and baby greens, with roasted/grilled corn kernels, a little bacon, a little hard boiled egg, tomatoes, carrots and then these tomato and crispy red bell peppers that come on the side which were unique and really tasty. They top the salad with hot sliced chicken nuggets. I chose to have the avocado lime ranch dressing which was delicious (but don't use the whole packet- it has a ton of fat in it which kind of takes away the benefit of ordering a salad in my opinion!- you don't need much anyway because everything else is so good.) They have some other new salads too- A Grilled Market Salad and an Asian Salad (which I'll try when I get tired of the Cobb one!) :) I still ordered my waffle fries- can't avoid those. And peach shakes are back in season so I highly encourage you to get one of those too. Delicious food at Chick-fil-A!

I love Chick-fil-A. It makes me feel nostalgic for the south, and I visit quite regularly (which might not be a good thing.) I don't mix politics with food, so I'm not going to condone or condemn the owner. I just like a good spicy chicken sandwich. The only negative thing in my eyes about this location is that no matter how you ask, they're pretty stingy with their Chick-fil-A sauce packets. I like to have some at home, you know, for emergency situations. IF YOU'RE LUCKY, you'll get 3 at this location. I was so surprised when I asked the same question at other locations and get half a bag full. Then I knew Wheaton was holding out on me.

Efficient, super-friendly, and super-polite. The best fast food experience. I can eat their Spicy Chicken Sandwich every day of the week.

To begin with, this is a fast food restaurant. I have low expectations for fast food restaurants. I expect people working there to be helpful and pleasant. I expect my order to be right and fast. I expect my food to be tasty. Here, they succeed on all counts. Mc Donald's is faster. Wendy's is cheaper. But, here they seem to have captured a moment from the past when a fast food place was clean and polite. It's a little. Slow during the lunch rush, so be prepared. However my son will eat chick-fil-a food and won't east Wendy's. That is important.

I wholeheartedly disagree with their politics, and yet, I love me some CFA. It was weird for me to be in a standalone restaurant, because as a teen they were mall food, and I would coerce my mom into taking me to Glenbrook Mall by tempting her with the perfect chicken sandwich with pickles (we share a love of pickles) that resided there. I was unaware of their politics, I simply knew that a pressure-cooked chicken breast, perfectly spiced, on a buttered bun with two pickles was one of the best sandwiches known to man. Now, I live about 10 minutes from this Chick-fil-A, and so, tired, hot and hungry after a long day battling traffic and the AC being on the fritz, we got ourselves some Chikin. It was the first time I'd had CFA since I was in the Miami airport in early 2008. The set up is a little weird and the place was chaotic -- they take your name but don't tell you if you should wait around or be seated, so I saw both folks picking food up at the counter and it being brought to tables. A little organization would go a long way. That said, my classic chicken sandwich, waffle fries and lemonade were just as delicious as I remembered. Can I ask for extra pickles next time? Also, out of sheer guilt I will now be making a donation to the HRC...

Very Poor service and my food was cold. I also never received a receipt for my order? Can get a better Chicken sandwich from any Wendy's.

I love that this Chick-fil-A takes multiple coupons, gives great service (always says "my pleasure"--of course), and makes delicious food. I've never had a problem with this location and have consistently had great interactions with the people there. The atmosphere is always family-friendly and welcoming. Even when large groups have come in at the same time, the wait has never been long. One thing I would definitely recommend, the Banana Pudding milkshake. Was so sad when they stopped serving it...

I can't think of Chick-fil-A without snickering. A friend of my brother could not call it Chick-fil-A and kept calling it Chick-a-file. Like someone unnaturally attracted to chickens? Ewww. I was curious. A fast food chain dedicated to chicken? How good could it be? It was good. Nothing more, nothing less. I got the chicken nuggets--figured it was the best way to try the myriad of sauces they offer. The best thing? That they don't charge you for extra sauce. I asked for four different sauces and they were very happy to comply. The best-best thing? the side of waffle fries. Crispy hot potato fun. Not too salty either. I loved the Polynesian sauce--like a good sweet and sour sauce it was. The House sauce was good--kind of like a dressy mayo. The ranch was tasty as well. The Honey Mustard was awful--no way I can explain it, no mustard taste, no honey tasted. Blech. I hear the peach shake is "to die for" and the breakfast sammie is worth a check. I wasn't overly impressed, but liked it enough to come back to try the shake and breakfast.

Born and raised in Atlanta, I was missin' me some Chick-fil-A, as it was originated in the "A". After I heard there was a new Chick-fil-A, my husband took me here as a treat. I love their spicy chicken sandwich; it seemed a lot spicier than it was when I was in Atlanta. Regardless, it was good. Nick B. Mentioned their honey BBQ sauce; I second it! It's a sweeter sauce, so if you're not into sweet things, you may not like. Another person asked what is so special about this place?! Well, my friend, I think it's the chicken. Not sure if you recall, but the chicken you were eating was the real deal. If you bite into the chicken, you will see the breast meat that you would on a real chicken that was purchased at a non-fast food restaurant. It's not processed chicken meat!! The thing that makes it special is the fact that you're paying fast food prices for real chicken meals, which is in my opinion a steal of a deal. Its worth a try. Nick B. Mentioned that they are very friendly; they are just the same in good 'ole Georgia!! Cheers! Happy eating!! (word on the street says they are opening chick-fil-a in Schaumburg)

No review necessary, good chicken sandwiches and nuggets. The food here is exactly what other people say it is. It's the top choice when it comes to fast food chains around here. They have great chicken sandwiches, I prefer the spicy sandwich with Chick-fil-A sauce or the nuggets with pure honey. If you're sick (which I recently was) I found the chicken noodle soup here to be very good. I don't know why this place needs another review, but... I checked in here so why not. Overall, just go and try it out if you haven't. I'm not absolutely enamored like some people, but if I'm going fast food, I think of this place first.

We all know that ChickFilA is the best fast food around (see my review for the Naperville location). This review is based solely on the LAYOUT of the Wheaton location's setup. Thumbs DOWN! Unlike Naperville's, which from the time you get in the door is neatly cordoned off to indicate the route the line should follow, this just has a big open space to let the crowd arrange itself. And you know very well that crowds are not good at arranging themselves. People either stand there shuffling around looking at one another, or they take advantage and jump ahead when they clearly weren't next when the cashier calls out. Once the order is taken, there isn't a good separate "waiting for my food" area, so you're pretty much back to the shuffling crowd area. At least our food got to us quickly, even on a busy week-end, though it tasted like it had been sitting for a bit. If I have to visit this location again (and I might, since I go to the Whole Foods next door on occasion), it will be drive through all the way, baby; we'll see if that fares any better. Overall, the setup at this ChickFilA does not get an A.

  • Howard C.

What can you say about Chick Fil A? It's really just the BEST fast food around. You can be healthy and eat a little crazy. Just fantastic. You can go grilled or fried, nuggets or strips, salads or wraps; your options are extremely plentiful as long as you accept that you'll be eating chicken of some sort. And as someone who worked at CFA in Orlando for a couple years I know how clean and fresh everything is. They are extremely strict about cleanliness and a great atmosphere. There is no question you will enjoy!

TL;DR summary: Good food, friendly service, posted opening hours incorrect, no compensation offered for my inconvenience, no reply from corporate RE: feedback. I tried Chick-fil-A for the first time this weekend, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the food. I had a chicken biscuit and a spicy chicken biscuit, and both were juicy and flavorful. The biscuits had just the right degree of flakiness - they held together but weren't tough. Service at Chick-fil-A seems to get rave reviews. My experience was positive overall, but not uniformly. First, I will say that the employees on location were very pleasant and friendly. However, when I arrived for breakfast 10 minutes past the posted opening time (6 a.m. per the website, Yelp and the business' doors), they told me that they didn't open till 6:30. So I hung out in the parking lot for 20 minutes (Wheaton is not really close to home for me) and upon coming inside, I wasn't offered anything to compensate me for the inconvenience. I contacted Chick-fil-A corporate via email with my feedback and receipt number, but I received no reply. I can understand some lag in posting changed hours of operation on the doors (perhaps a week or two), but the corporate website should be updated within 24 hours of any such change, in my opinion. Will I come back? I think so. It's among the best quality fast food you're likely to find. Do call ahead to make sure they are open though. Edit 9/17/11: The corporate office wrote me back after a few days saying that they would forward my comments to the franchisee. I never heard from that person.

I was turned on to Chick-fil-A about 3 years ago by my partner. Of course this is when we weren't living in the same city, and I had to travel 624 miles just to get some nuggets and chicken strips. All of that changed a couple of weeks ago. Chick-fil-A made the mistake of opening a location in Wheaton, 10 minutes from my house. And now, I can't get enough of them. From the friendly staff to the "oh-my-goodness-this-is-so-good" food, Chick-fil-A wins hands down. The chicken strips and nuggets seem to melt in your mouth and really fill you up. I should know. The first night of opening, I walked out with 3 small boxes of strips and nuggets. I'm not alone. They consistently have a line of cars wrapped around the building just to get in the drive thru. Oh, and did I mention that they open at 6:30am for breakfast? Only downside is that NO Chick-fil-A, anywhere, is open on Sundays. Chick-fil-A, you have become my new BFF.

This was my first time here and I loved it! First of all the chicken is quality and isn't dry like most fast food places. But what really sold me was the sweet tea! I love McDonald's sweet tea but this one is even better. Not good that I live so close but I know I'll be back often!

I visited your establishment on Saturday March 30th 2013. At about 9am I entered your establishment and was not greeted. 10 minutes later a young lady took my order and never greeted me or smiled. (BTW there was only 1 party of four people in front of me and two employees standing around the corner while one talked and one cleaned the same spot of a table for 10 minutes straight). When she took my order she didn't ask my name or give me a number. Mind you there was only 2 customers ordering so maybe it wasn't needed. I ordered Chicken Minis and about 5 minutes after order I went to the counter to check on them and waited some more. Another girl then walked passed me 5 times with my food before I had to stop her and ask if that was MY ORDER. It was. Two things bother me enough that I could possibly NEVER go to the Wheaton, IL location again. First I have called 3 times and left messages three times for a manager to call me back. Being a former manager I feel that management should be aware of these issues. NINE days later and 3 calls later NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS! The other thing that bothered me was how your employees treated every customer as I noticed I was not treated any different. The biggest issue was a young boy that ran up to the counter in an upset/loud/excited manner asking why there is no recycling bins and your helping kill the earth. I watch 3 out of 4 employees turn their back to this young boy and the fourth was like a deer in headlights. The boys father got his son and they left the establishment. What happened next is downright RUDE. Your employees actually started laughing about the situation (mind you I am at the counter waiting on my food) and started making fun of the child in front of a paying customer. I am sorry that this method of media had to be used to communicate some issues but when you don't return calls this is the only method left.

How are there negative reviews about Chick-Fil-A?? Service is good here, not as good as in the south, but still good. Always get the wheat bread, it tastes a bit sweeter and makes the whole sandwich taste a little better. Every sandwich that I have ever had (and believe me, there have been a lot since I lived in Georgia for a few months) has always been perfect. Never too salty or under-seasoned or for any reason that the negative reviewers say about Chick-Fil-A. Get the regular sandwich, or grilled, no extras, just the meat and wheat bread, waffle fries and lemonade or unsweet and you will be in heaven... of course you have to use the Buffalo Sauce though! mmmmmm YUUMMMM Now if only Blue Bell would come here soon too! HA

I first experienced Chick-fil-A when we'd go visit my Grandma in Pittsburgh. Every year I looked forward to going. After she passed away, I think it became more of a sentimental thing. The last time I'd been to one of these (outside of on vacation in Florida) was in Bloomington at State Farm Corporate Headquarters at least 10 years ago. So when I heard one of these was going to be close to home, I was thrilled. This place has not changed. One bit. The Chicken Sandwiches are great. Waffle Fries are great. And we got to try the breakfast -- that was great too. I love the Chicken Biscuit. The Peppermint Chocolate Chip shakes are to die for. The cow is a little creepy. The prices are a bit inflated. But the staff, they are so nice. You will find yourself comparing them to other fast food places when you go somewhere else. Welcome to Wheaton Chick-Fil-A!

After spending an ungodly amount of time in the deep South, I came to know and love the nectar of the gods that is Chik-Fil-A diet lemonade. That's right, this entire review is based on the diet lemonade alone - don't judge me! This tart with just the right amount of sweet beverage is totally worth driving from Villa Park to Wheaton for and nothing is more refreshing on a hot summer (or who am I kidding - even a freezing winter) day. The service is always speedy, even when the line is out the door and the employees are uber polite. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they brought in actual Southerners to work there because every time, it's guaranteed someone is going to make me feel older than my 29 years by calling me "ma'am" or even worse "madam". Oh yeah, they apparently serve chicken or something else there too.

Chick-fil-A never disappoints the sandwiches are really fresh and it feels like your eating something of quality. I am not a big fan of their waffle fries but then again I am not a big fan or any fries unless their fresh cut double fried. I like the fact that I can opt out of fries in the combo for a small charge get soup or salad. I think there side salad is the best of any fast food franchise. I dont get them often but the nuggest are excellent especially with the polynesian sauce. On the lighter side they have a eccellent grilled chicken that actually has the consistency of real chicken

A friend had asked me recently if I'd ever eaten at Chick-fil-A and I told him that I hadn't, but how it seems that everybody who has just loves it. He then gave me a free sandwich coupon and I instantly knew where I was having lunch that day. It's a very nice establishment...clean and family friendly. The menu was a bit different from the norm, so it took me a minute or two to decide what I wanted. The cashier was pleasant and made sure I knew what my options were, even when he saw that I was getting my sandwich gratis. I included the waffle fries and drink, both of which set me back about $4.50. The food wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't to the level I'd expected after hearing all of the rave reviews beforehand. That, and the hefty price I had to pay for fries and a drink sets the ceiling for my review at 3 stars. McDonalds chicken sandwich is just as good to me and it's a lot cheaper. Would I go back? I guess I'd stop in if it was the only place around, but I sure wouldn't go out of my way for it.

'you want everything to stop that bad'. c/o elliott smith.... ...which is to say i've never had chickfila and finally went. So i did and it was beyont. i really didn't want to like it, to believe the hype, etc. but that's good chix.

I was sucked into the hype when they starting popping up in the Chicago area. I remembering going to one in Atlanta about 10 years ago but didn't remember much about it. I have been here several times over the last year and I have always found the food enjoyable and delicious. Having to go to the counter for refills is kind of annoying, but the employees are always pleasant and courteous. At the end of the day, it's fried chicken and they have had it in the Chicago area for quite a while now. While this place is very good, it is certainly not the greatest chicken on Earth

I am a crazy fan of Chick-fil-a, going back to my college years I think, so I was THRILLED when they finally came to the Chicago area. If you don't like chicken, you're kind of out of luck. BUT, the original chick-fil-a is AMAZIZING!!! Perfect blend of spices, perfect level of juiciness, nicely soft bun. I mean, you absolutely can't go wrong. Add some waffle fries, and I'm in heaven. They have fried or grilled chicken sammiches, spicy fried (which my husband, a "spicy snob" said was very good", chickensalad, nuggets, strips, or salads with chicken. For sides - waffle fries, cole slaw, carrot-raisin salad, fruit cup. The menu isn't huge, but it doesn't need to be. Great selection of dipping sauces for the nuggets, or fries if you like. Polynesian sauce is my favorite. Milkshakes are also delicious. One of the best parts about Chick-fil-a is that it seems to be a genuinely nice company to work for. The staff always seems genuinely happy to be there, and are always ready to answer you with "My Pleasure". One of my nephew's favorite things to do is tro try to get them to say "You're welcome" instead of "my pleasure". All Chick-fil-a locations are closed every Sunday, which is a pain when you want chick-fil-a on a Sunday, but I totally respect the company's decision to give their staff a day with their families. The company is very family-oriented, and I like that. You'll probably even hear some contemporary Christian music over the music system instead of the nonsense most places play. All in all - wonderful food, super friendly staff, great parent company. I'm in! Now open one in Plainfield, PLEASE!!!!!!

I usually get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries. They have awesome chicken sandwiches and great service. The one thing I wish they told you at the counter was you get free drink refills. The place is always busy and packed, but the service matches it so I'd definitely go back.

Chick-fil-A...Thank you for coming to the Chicagoland area! I like your food, but you made my southern wife extra happy. The Chick-fil-A location is great! The employees are very friendly and the restaurant is clean and inviting. I went with the Spicy Chicken Deluxe with waffle fries on this occasion. The sandwich was moist, spicy, and delicious. The waffle fries were excellent. Yes, it is a fast food chain...but a definite 5 stars in that category.

I don't live anywhere close to this location, but I really, really wanted a chicken sandwich and remembered that Chick-fil-A restaurants finally infiltrated West Suburban Illinois. I bought my mom with me as we were shopping and she thought I was crazy for traveling all the way to Wheaton for a chicken sandwich. Hey, I travel for food. And let me tell you, that was a good chicken sandwich. It was hot, tender and filling. The place was clean and the service was great. Although I live in Oak Park, the temptation will always be there to go and get that chicken sandwich.

I have to say, that I have been wanting to try Chick-Fil-A FOREVER! I have a ton of friends who have done nothing but rave about it for years. I love me some fried chicken sandwich so I was aching to try CFA. In fact the ONE time a Chick-Fil-A was in a reasonable distance to where I was I had to pass as I was I dieting. FML. Well dear Yelpers, my Chick-Fil-A drought has finally ended! Hooray! A CFA opened RIGHT down the street from me! For months I had been eyeing the construction and waiting with bated breath. Today was the day where I would finally find out if CFA lived up to the hype. I was hopeful but still had some doubts after the major letdown I experienced at Sonic. Chick-Fil-A delivered like dominoes baby! It was the grand opening so it was a bit nuts. I hit the drive thru and was outta there in 10 minutes. Sa-weet! I got the original chicken sandwich, waffle fries and the fresh squeezed lemonade which the order taker told me was life changing. I'm not sure it was life changing but it was pretty delightful. The sandwich is simple. Just a regular ole bun, a couple pickles and a perfectly plump, crispy, juicy chicken breast. It wasn't dry. It wasn't soggy. It was just right. No mayo, no sauce...and honestly it doesn't need it. Waffle fries are the mightiest of fries in my opinion. Nuff said. I asked for a sample of each of their sauces from the dude at the condiment station. He gladly handed me SEVEN different sauces! "Wow, that's alotta sauce!" I said. He snickered. I burst out laughing. Good times were had by all. I am looking forward to sampling some other treats at CFA...the peppermint chocolate shake in particular. They also have orange Fanta on fountain. BONUS!! I'm happy that CFA lived up to the hype...although I'm pretty sure my waistline is less enthusiastic about the close proximity of waffle fries at a moment's notice.

I was excited when I discovered a few weeks ago that Chick-fi-A was finally going to make its arrival to Chicagoland area, and even more so when I saw there would be a local near by my neighborhood. However, I've held off on visiting due massive amounts of traffic. As much as I love CFA, I do not enjoy sitting in rush hour, grid lock traffic - especially at a shopping center. However, the novelty seems to be dying down and traffic cops no longer seem to be needed to keep things moving which was my cue to swing by for some tasty chicken goodness. On this particular occasion, I took a trip through the drive thru. Everyone working the drive thru seemed to have their act together - very smooth experience. I even liked that they had someone standing with condiments just around the corner after you pay and get your food. (Keeps things moving in my opinion.) Maybe this is just until traffic levels off, or the weather makes it no longer practical to do. Regardless, in my book it was a good strategy and it appears to be working well. As for the quality of the food . . . Just like I remember from the good ol' days when I first discovered CFA while attending college down south. One things I will say is that it is a bit pricey for what you get, but for the amount of times I expect to go I'm fine with paying a little extra for something I know I enjoy so much. At the end of the day, it's nice to know there is a CFA nearby should my heart desire to indulge in such a treat from time-to-time.

I still have to drive about 20 minutes to enjoy some tasty, peanut-oil fried chicken, but at least I don't have to go to the Fox Valley Mall area anymore. I forgot how sweet the Tahitian sauce was- a welcome substitute for sweet n' sour. I'm a bit of an introvert so when I went to this location, I felt as if every one of the employees was overly friendly. Gag. :) No I kid, it was pleasant being asked at a fast-food spot by a roaming host if I'd like my drink freshened or garbage taken away. Oh, and two sauce packets for 8 nuggets?? HELL YEAH! Mc Donald's charges 15¢ for an extra packet.. another reason why they can suck it. I'm wondering when the "Free sandwich to the customers who dress like a cow" day is coming... yes, they actually do this. Bring your kids- this is the first location I've seen with a kids' play area. PPS, this is a Christian-owned company, so every single location is closed on Sundays- you better not get a craving on a Sunday.

I thought this place was okay, had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was not so amazing, didn't finish it and ended up eating the tiny chicken nuggets which were actually good. My boyfriend on the other hand got the spicy sandwiches (crispy) and he loved it! I guess I shouldn't have gotten the grilled. Will go back again and try something else on the menu.

OMG. For those of you from the South and transplanted to this snowy land, you get it...and understand the desire for the simplicity of a chicken sandwich perfected by a man who won't open his restaurant on a Sunday and sticks to views that I really don't agree with...but I do love this man's chicken and his ability to make tons of $ all the while sticking to his guns...tho if I ever got into a moral argument with its founders, it wouldn't be pretty. I digress. Amazing. Wonderful. These Yankees finally realize the fantastical wonders of Chick-fil-a. I think some of the batter on the chicken is missing a little bit of the sweetness the Southern Chick-fil-a's have, and for some reason, I always have to add salt to my waffle fries...but hey, they make my sweet tea the way I like it here....serve my food with a smile like home...and try to pretend to be Southern. Somehow, I've talked my co-worker to take me here like twice...and more trips to come! The service is surprisingly quick, and though every time it's been packed to the gills when we go, we manage to snag a table! Seriously, on bad days at work, this little field trip is definitely a treat.

There's a good reason this place has such a fanatic following. Be aware that they are closed on Sundays (I know, right?). I had the classic chick-fil-a. It was outstanding and gets the chicken right everywhere every other chain can't. It's tender, moist and flavorful. Not dry or coated in a chemical. The kids loved the strips and nuggets! Like more than I have ever seen them love said chicken parts. PLUS, you get waffle fries and they offer like 8 dipping sauces. Maybe due to the opening (and the fact that you couldn't wedge another person in there) they had a lot of employees working the room taking garbage and refilling drinks (!) and generally being pleasant. I'll go here again for sure.

I have never had Chick-fil-a before but have always heard good things about it. This one is near my workplace so I tried it out a month or two ago. Yep, it is pretty good. Honestly if I had to go with fast food.....why would I ever pick McD's over this? The waffle cut fries are great, I always order an upsize of those. I tried the plain chicken, deluxe chicken, and spicy chicken version sandwiches. The deluxe is my favorite. The staff is very polite and seem to be a lot happier than the usual fast food workers. I think this is important since a "meh" McD's worker can really dull down the customer experience.....moods are contagious you know. I also like that this company has religious values that keeps them closed on Sunday and (I heard) starts each morning off with prayer. It is not the religious part that intrigues me as much as they do this in a world were it is quickly criticized. I like how values are not forced and seem to co-exist well with their business. I give them much respect for that. **Chicago's mayor, alderman, and the Jim Henson Co need stop interfering with a free-market enterprise in order to start media-hysteria. Let the customer's decide.**

First the obvious- they have the most delicious chicken sandwiches available. The quality of their food is the highest that you could ever expect from fast food. The staff is very courteous and the prices are fair. The price is a little surprising. They offer a significantly better sandwich yet they are about the same price as McDonalds. They also honor expired coupons. They accepted expired coupons with no questions asked. They didn't say "well we will take them this time, but...". They are just happy to have my business and serve an excellent product. Again I would like to reiterate that the staff is exceptionally courteous. The only issue is really they are not open on Sundays.

If you're going to do one thing, do it right. I found the drive thru to be pretty easy to navigate and it moved rather quickly. A few of us headed over there during the lunch rush the other day and although the video of the person taking our order didn't match up with the voice (??) they got our order correct and moved us through quickly. I'm a fan of the spicy chicken and they do it pretty darned good. I'm not a pickles guy so that stuff has to come off and they do it without hassle. I love them as they have Coke products. Oh and who doesn't love waffle fries??

  • Jen F.

The long wait is over! My last tango with Chick-fil-A was 10 years ago or so in some southern state, and I remembered it as being super delicious and wonderful. So I couldn't have been happier to hear one was being built not 2 blocks from my house! While the opening has been crazy, we got in and out of the drive through in super speedy time. Got the original chicken sandwich and waffle fries, and couldn't be happier. The chicken is tasty and the flavors on the bun combine with the chicken perfectly. The waffle fries are like butter. We're waiting for the hype to die down before we try dine-in. But we're totally in it for the long haul and plan on going back several times and soon (though not on Sundays when they're closed).

!!!! !!!! !!!! I lived in Atlanta for several years and one thing I really missed about living there was Chik-Fil-A. When I learned about a year ago that they were opening a restaurant in Wheaton, I was excited since my wife and I frequent the area often. My wife and I visited the Wheaton location on a Saturday evening and they were pretty busy. I must admit though, the staff did an excellent job moving people through the restaurant. (quickly filling orders and cleaning tables) Food tasted very consistent with other Chik-Fil-A locations. Admittedly, the price is a little more expensive than other competitve fast food locations, but the fries are worth the premium. I have no doubt this location is going to do very well. We will be returning in the near future.

Kinda weird to review a fast food chain restaurant, but this is one I've been meaning to try for years but it just wasn't located in the cities I've lived in. And c'mon, the advertising with the cows holding the "Eat Mor Chikin" signs are too funny. Love Chick-fil-A! They have very good chicken sandwiches - I like the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe, and their waffle fries are very tasty. I'm also a fan of their cole slaw, which is second only to the KFC cole slaw. I absolutely love the Chick-fil-A sauce, too. But then again I also love the Arby's Horsey Sauce and the McDonald's Hot (not really hot) Mustard sauce. Chicken Strips are good, too. I'm trying the Nuggets and Wraps next, and I hear their shakes are to die for, so that's also on my life. One thing I noticed is that there aren't many people who come through for BREAKFAST- oh, people, you are missing out! C-F-A has a wonderful breakfast menu. I've had the spicy chicken biscuit (see a pattern here with the spicy?) and the chicken mini sliders and loved them both. I thought the breakfast burritos were OK. I like the fact that if you order an orange juice, they give you a nice size bottle of Simply Orange orange juice. Their hashbrowns (which are tiny tater tots) are super tasty. Finally, and this is important, the employees here are so darn nice. I always see "Ian" working the window at this C-F-A location in the morning for breakfast, and he is such a nice guy and always cheerful. It's always nice to start your day by interacting with friendly, kind people. I think that's part of training, providing service with a huge smile. And every time I come through, the employees are super polite and friendly and smiling. It is just a small but really nice touch. One warning - sometimes the drive through lanes (there are two) can get a little busy so if you are a patron who is dining in and walking through the parking lot, be careful of the traffic that races around the corner to get in line. I've nearly been run over a couple of times by morons trying to get in the drive thru lanes.

I had to try Chick-fil-A from all the rave reveiws I hear from my friends down south. Hands down best fast food chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich was very moist and very flavorful. It came with pepperjack cheese and fresh lettuce and tomatoe. Dipped in the Chick-fil-A sauce made it even more delicious. I wasn't a fan of the waffle fries (too bland) or the sweet tea (TOO sweet). I'm not sure why people complain about the to go process. There is nothing complicated about it and the line moved steadily. During the lunch hour it took literally all of about 5 minutes to order, pay, and get my food.

Had dinner here last night. Firdt time at a Chick Fil A. The price was very reasonable and the food was quite good. What impressed us most was the service. Our order was taken quickly and they got it RIGHT (I hate it when you don't get what you order). The best part for us was the very attentive table service. Several times crew members stopped by our table to make sure that we had enough napkins, did we need our table cleared, how about a soda refill...all delivered in the most courteous way !! It wasn't as if these kids didn't have anything to do, they were fairly busy on a Friday evening...I think it's just part of the service. We would like to send a BIG thanks to Andrew who responded to our thanks with a "my pleasure" and I think he sincerely meant it. Other restaurants should take notice of this practice and implement it ! It might have been our first visit to this restaurant, but surely will not be our last !

I know everyone is beyond excited to finally have a chick-fil-a in the area, but I didn't remember liking it in college and now I remember why. It's fine. The ingredients are fresh, so that's good... I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was enjoyable after adding some mayo and hot sauce. Yes, I'll admit I was a little mad they won't put your mayo on for you. I hate having to take apart my sandwich to put on a common condiment! The last thing I have to say is - waffle fries? Come on. They aren't that great. So yes, the quality is a lot better then McDonalds and a little better then Wendy's. But it's also much more expensive and not worth the price. I'd say to go try it. It might be for you. It's just not my first choice.

Excellent service, well managed restaurant. Definitely a cut above any other fast food restaurant. And, you can tell the staff likes working there because their staff is the best I've EVER seen in a fast food restaurant. They went above and beyond the expected. Brought our food out to us, offered water after I didn't order a drink, offered to clear our table all with a smile on their face...and there are after dinner mints in the bathroom (no joke). One thing I particularly appreciate is how knowledgeable the guy taking our order was about how the food was prepared. My son has a peanut allergy, so I have lots of questions and he answered them confidently....unlike the typical "deer in the headlights look." Also, I love their happy meal toys. They are always something appropriate and somewhat useful. Today's was a Bernstein's Bear book. That's way better than the PG-13 movie toys we get from McD's, such as Avatar (really?!?!?!). On Tuesday nights they have family nights and the night we were there. The theme was Super Heroes. They had Gotham City set up and a photographer taking pictures. The kids loved it. The place was PACKED with little ones in super hero costumes and all were having good, family friendly, yummy fun.

Chick-fil-A is probably as good as it gets for food chains. great food, great service... the only thing that might not be good is the price. but you get what you pay for. they also have the spicy chicken sandwich here... so good!

Food here today, as well as the service, sucked. First off, my chicken minis were RAW, like as in still pink when i bit into them......traded it for a chicken biscuit, which was also uneatable, full of grissle. I'm done eating here. Not what it used to be.

In my opinion, Chick-Fil-A is the standard when it comes to fast food. The Wheaton restaurant consistently serves me a meal in under 1 minute: can't argue with that! Plus ... being new to Chicagoland, this location is constantly jammed with people! The staff is super nice, efficient, and professional. The restaurant is always clean, as are the grounds. It's probably beside the point that their food is delicious. Never had better chicken: sure, McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's have chicken sandwiches, too ... but none of them come even close to CFA. Big props to CFA Wheaton!

The food is excellent and this is the only fast food place where I leave and don't feel physically terrible after leaving. You don't get that fast food bloated feeling. It's always clean and the staff are trained extremely well...one suggestion I will make to anyone who orders....when they ask you a name to put your order under say "Beuhler"....and you'll get laughs every time your order is ready!! P.S. I love the Christian music in the background...

For a fast food restaurant, Chick-fil-a kills the competition. The chicken actually tastes like real chicken and not just like a whole layer of preservatives stacked ontop. I live about an hour away, but me and a bunch of friends try to go as often as possible. I've had almost every item on their menu and I have to say that everything tastes great. The waffles fries and milkshakes are killer, too.

i had to go and check out what in the hell all the fuss was about. and after taking the family and having 4 different meals......i have absolutely no idea whatsoever why people make such a big f'ng deal about this place.....seriously. it's above average fast food, period. you should have heard all the brain dead wheatonite mc yuppies going on and on about how good it was, and how "awesome" the sauces are........really? really? that little plastic packet of high fructose corn syrup flavored with 8 other chemicals that cause cancer in lab rats really does it for you huh? my god. waffle fries are also like landing on the moon for you right? anyways, the most impressive part of the whole deal for me was the sound proof kids play area....need that for the house.

I think all the people who have given negative reviews probably let the insane hype about this place influence them. I got sick of the hype, but I love it here. Just crispy enough on the outside, so tender and juicy on the inside. I am referring to the basic chicken sandwich. Chicken, a pickle slice, and buns. That is all you need. No sauce or any other nonsense. Although I am sure the Deluxe sandwich is good. I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 for three reasons. 1: The lines are insane. I think the chicken is amazing, but I wouldnt want to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru for it. 2: Expensive. $5.89 for the basic combo of sandwich, fries, and a drink. 3: The play area. I know fecal and saliva remnants are all around us folks. But do we really need to bring more of that around with a play area full of kids full of snot and who knows what else. At the end of the day, the chicken sandwich and the WAFFLE FRIES put a smile on my face, a warm feeling in my stomach, and some hope in my heart. This place is not open on Sundays because the head honchos are religious. I am religious. There is nothing wrong with that. They want their employees be able to attend religious services. Last time I checked though, on Sundays, you can go to services morning, noon, and night. Also, this one day they are closed, they are losing out on money to be made which could be donated to various causes. Also, what about people out there who could use this extra day of work? This is the first time I have touched on religion on Yelp, which I am not going to make a habit of. I felt in this case I needed to. By the way, LOVE THE WAFFLE FRIES!

Incredibly amazing service, very kind and friendly. Great food in smallish portions, but plenty affordable so you can buy multiple entrees to work around that. Terrible, terrible iced tea - get brand name pop instead. Overall, a recommended choice, with precautions.

Made a pilgrimage out to Chick Fil A today. Their spicy chicken sandwich, which came with just pickles, was very good. Unlike at some fast food places, the chicken patty actually look like it was made from a real chicken. The patty had just enough kick. I will definitely be back to get another!

Heard a lot of fuss about this place, so drove out with my wife to try it out, and was pleasantly surprized. I had the grilled chicken wrap, it had nicely seasoned chicken, and fresh lettuce and tomato. Their waffle fries were good too, and they sell you dipping sauces for the fries, I got Blue-Cheese. For a fast food restaurant it is really different.

Having always wanted to try a Chick-Fil-A, I was excited that one was built near my place of work. So I finally got to try this and I was not disappointed. The chicken was so good and juicy. I loved it and the lines weren't very long. The wait staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely be going back.

I'm really stunned at the amount of 4 and 5 star reviews Chick-fil-A is getting. I've gone 3 times now. Each time thinking there must be something on this (very small) menu that causes everyone to rave about their food. I have yet to find it. I've had the chicken wrap, char-grilled chicken club, and the chicken strips. Each item was an average fast-food offering at best and rather expensive. $20 to feed 3. I don't get it. Beyond the food, the place is always packed so getting your food is like a cattle call. When they built the place they decided to include a nasty indoor petri dish playground. Yuck. This reminds me of when Krispy Kreme came to Chicago and everyone went nuts....Again, I don't get it.

Good service, good food, family friendly. Cleanest play area ever, even have wipes to wash off grungy hands.

We don't have too many locations and the wheaton location is the closet to where I live. I came here for the first time and was impressed how nice the staff were!! I love the chicken nuggets more than the chicken sandwich but they all taste good and fresh! I also love the lemon pie that I went back yesterday and ordered a whole pie, it's not sour at all! but whenever I'm in the area, I will make a pit stop again to chik fil a!

OK. I've been here a few times now & am amazed each time I go here. The food is rock solid but it's the people that really get me. Most of them are either in high school or college (fairly young) but show a level of professionalism that many can learn from. ALWAYS a "thank you", "how may I help you" or "welcome" by the staff. I bet most people can remember when they were in high school in particular and the stories you can recall. These folks work hard and treat their customers so well. They seem genuine in their interest in me as a customer. This is one of the most friendly establishments of any type. Even more amazing is that my order has never been messed up (or know anyone who had an order done wrong). Job well done!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

We went here opening day and it was great. The service here was just as good as I remember. I love the sweet tea and waffle fries and the traditional chicken sandwich is my favorite. I also really like the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe with lettuce and tomato. The Chick-fil-A sauce is great with the fries. For hot, fresh food and good service I think it's worth every penny.

Chick-fil-A is the best fast food. So fresh, tasty, crisp. The servers were all friendly and helpful. On Valentines' Day night they had a special section set aside for couples and small parties which included free desert. We just love this place.

Ummm... YUM!!! I am eating food from here right now, and it is soooo good. It's fast food, yes, but the chicken tastes real and really good. The buns are pretty plain, but the pickles are delicious and i dont even like pickles usually. The fries are waffle fries, and they're ok, but the chicken makes up for it. Ohhh... The chicken. I'm finished now...and i want more!

I've missed this place. The nuggets are yummy...I could do without the waffle fries as other people have said. The spicy chicken sandwiches are yummy~!. A little kick of southern spice!

Made the 27-minute drive from my office in Geneva to get some Chick-fil-A for lunch. As I only get an hour for lunch, I had to enjoy my chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and nuggets as I drove back to work. Over the summer, I enjoyed some CFA while passing through Lafayette, Indiana. It was the first time in over 10 years. I gave that location props for the extremely courteous staff. I was hopeful that same level of customer service would be present at the Chicagoland restaurants when they opened. While I only passed through the two-lane drive-thru this time, I have to say the Wheaton staff seemed pretty friendly. Polite and eager to please. The drive-thru wait was average, and the food was excellent (of course). I liked that the fellow at the window confirmed my order, to make sure I got the right stuff. As much as I love Chick-fil-A, it's a tough trip to make during my lunch hour. I have to speed to make sure I get back to work on time, and it's hard to savor each bite while trying not to hit something at 50mph. Maybe open another restaurant in St. Charles or South Elgin?

Great place for kids!! When I took my 3 1/2 year old son there for lunch, they gave him a balloon! Score! Now he always asks to go back to "Chicks Away"! ;-)

Nice refreshing customer service and quality from a fast food place. A nice change of pace and its right by Whole Foods! Groceries and fast food all in one stop on my way home! Spicy Chicken Sandwich is great, diet dr pepper was a nice surprise (not really a surprise bc I ate at the Fox Valley location weeks earlier)... Overall it makes eating fast food feel less like fast food, somehow I don't feel as guilty????

On the first visit, the breaded chicken sandwich was extraordinary; the second visit, it was so highly salted that it was nearly inedible; the third visit it was less salty than the second time, but still over salted. Very inconsistent! If that particular sandwich could always be as good as the first one this would be an amazing restaurant. So far, it has fallen short.
