There's a funny little sign when you pull up to the drive thru. 'What do you call a day with no coffee? Depresso. Who doesn't love a shop with a little humor? It's even better that the drinks are amazing. I always order the chai tea latte and it is so full of flavor. My hubs gets iced coffee each time. Although I'm not a huge coffee drinker, it is so smooth that I alway consider ordering one. The owner is super, super nice. We have even tried espresso shots, for free! The prices are comparable to that other coffee place. I however, much rather give my money to an independent business with a better product.
I love Bubo's coffee! This place is where you can find good quality coffee at its best. If you're in a hurry in the morning, you should stop by at Bubo's. The coffee will definitely keep you up and running, it is also very affordable. When I go there, I usually get an ice coffee with agave honey. (Preferably on a hot sunny day). Enrique (the owner) is very knowledge about coffee and really knows what he is doing. He is also nice/chill and easy to talk to. You can buy beans there (Intelligentsia Coffee is the brand and its amazing!) I bought my boyfriend Black Cat (Espresso). Coffee lovers, where you at?
I've finally found good coffee in the Western suburbs! The owner knows his stuff, and he uses (and sells) Intelligentsia coffee. So any time I'm there, I get a REAL espresso macchiato (not that sweet thing Starbucks makes) and stock up on beans for home at the same time!

This place is great. It's a very mixed crowd and they seem to get quite a few lawyers from the DuPage County Courthouse and nurses from Central DuPage Hospital. They have quick service, good lunch specials and BIG portions. Taco & Burrito specials are only $6.00, come with rice and beans and have huge portions. I come here for lunch at least 1-2 times per week. They serve chips and salsa with every customer, ask for the guacamole (it's a very small upcharge.)
Tongue taco was delicious! Also ordered steak burrito dinner. Burrito is huge and full of meat. The rice and beans were really good too! It took over 30 minutes to get our carry out order. They were busy on a Sunday night and maybe understaffed?
Being born and raised in Chicago keeps a gal spoiled with food options. Since moving to the Western Suburbs, it's difficult finding a delicious Mexican spot that reminds you of home. Taqueria Aurelio's truly is amazing and I highly recommend it for anyone craving a delicious burrito, torta, or enchiladas. Don Aurelio is always there behind the counter being friendly and preparing your food. The sauces are amazing: I personally like both, but prefer the green sauce (salsa verde). To me, the Salsa is an indication of what the food is going to be like. If it doesn't taste right, then run! Taqueria Aurelio's/La Villita is a hole-in-the-wall type of joint, but it's definitely a diamond in the rough. Buen provecho!

I may not be the biggest fan of bakeries, but La Chicanita Bakery gets the official Mr Beautiful stamp of approval. It's a small Mexican style bakery that offers pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts. I've only been there a few times and every time I go back I forget how inexpensive their pastries are until the cashier tells me how much my giant brown grocery bag full of pastries costs. That's right, a giant brown grocery bag full of delicious baked goods. And you know how much that giant brown bag full of goodies usually costs me? About $5--awesome! DIABETES, HERE I COME! The set up is simple: walk in, grab a tray & tongs, and take your pick of the baked goodies in their cases. I'm not good with names, so of course, I don't know what anything is called in there. Just do what I do, take one of each! Wait, I lied about not knowing what anything is called--they have pastel de tres leches and flan. I've had their pastel de tres leches, which I must say is pretty damn good. I've been told that their flan is also pretty damn good--I haven't tried it yet, but I've seen the flan in the refrigerated case and they're HUGE. I'll have to remember to pick some up the next time I go back. Like I said before, La Chicanita Bakery earns the official Mr Beautiful stamp of approval for offering delicious baked goodies & other desserts at great prices, but first I have to clean off my stamp--there are crumbs all over it from all the yummy pastries that were in my giant brown grocery bag! Holla!!!â„¢

Ok where to start? Well I spent over $13 dollars. I had a beef hot with cheese large cheese fry large drink. Fry's under done cheese tasted like crap. Oh the beef was the worst. the hot peppers where the best thing. If I would known this place sucked so bad. I would have went to Portillo's in St. Charles. Where the food is great and I would have saved 1or 2 dollars
I had a chance to get back to Augie's yesterday and what a treat it was! Around 1 o'clock in the afternoon I realized I was starving and remembered this place was just down the street. I called and ordered a Turkey Grinder since I know they take a few minutes to make and getting back to work was imperative. I walked up to the counter and paid for my order and they handed it to me fresh from the kitchen right after. I took it back to the office and devoured it record time. The sandwich was pure bliss. Crusty bread with turkey, lettuce, tomato and the perfect blend of seasonings. Now if Augie's would just open a location in Phoenix life would be great!
I refuse to order another sandwich from any other restaurant! Augustino's subs always hit the spot. I always opt for the 6 inch turkey on french and I get two meals out of it. The meat is always fresh, the veggies are fabulous, and the servings are so generous. Throughout the years I have tried just about everything else on the menu, and it is all great. It's just so hard to pass up their amazing subs! The service at this location (compared to the Carol Stream) is a little slower, but the product is always superb, so it has never really bothered me. The decor is super, and the dining area is very clean. Overall, a great place to grab a bite to eat and have some leftovers later!

Pizza Now

West Chicago, 60185
Reviews:
Funny, I thought the pizza would be ready when I got there like they advertised. Pizza Now! was more like Pizza Wait 15 or 20 minutes. I went here on a Tuesday night at 5:30, waited in line to order and then waited for my pizzas. I saw several pizzas come out of the oven, get sliced, get put in the box and then get put into a warming bin. I couldn't figure out why me or any of the other waiting customers weren't getting pizzas! We had already paid, so all you needed to do was take the box and walk away. I guess you get what you pay for. For $5 you can get a large cheese, pepperoni or sausage pizza or an 8 piece order of buffalo wings. Extra toppings cost extra money. The wings are very meaty, but not very spicy. They don't numb your lips. The pizzas themselves remind me of the old Dominos. This is located in a strip mall that also has an Aldis in it. It is only a carryout facility without anywhere to even sit while you are waiting for your pizza. I have 4 boys and they consume mass quantities, so I thought I would give this place a shot. The reviews from my kids were mixed. Some said it was ok, another said that it wasn't saucy enough and one is not sure. So whether I return or not remains a mystery!
Hey everybody guess what! It's a large pizza for 5 dollars! Now, contrary to some of the other reviews I find this pizza to be far superior to a frozen pizza. So if you do the math it's two large (one topping) pizzas for ten dollars and three for 15 - you can really keep going further with this, really. PN is really not a bad pie for the price. Yes, it is a little bland but it's amazing what a little table salt will do. Just to be clear, I'm not looking for much customer service and decor is not important but just give them a call before you leave your house and tell them what you want - it'll be waiting for you when you get there (that's what I do). I didn't notice the 3 topping deal for $ 7.77 when I was there last week but saw it today and I think I'll try that next time. For perspective - Other things you can buy for $5: subway footlong, a 24 pack of diet coke, one big Mac and fries, a box of cereal, 2 Starbucks hot chocolates (small), shampoo and conditioner (the cheap stuff like I buy), 2 gallons of gas, etc. I like this place enough to give them a star for every dollar I spent on my pizza (just to hammer in my point). it's nothing special but It is what it is.
I completely DISAGREE with the majority of the reviews. Pizza Now is fantastic. They're prices are the same as Little Caesars ($5) but the pizza is faaar better. It's cooked well, the crust is chewy, and the breadsticks are great. I always get a pepperoni and if I didn't stop myself I could eat the whole thing one sitting. Now sure, there are some places that are better, but for the price AND the quality it beats anything similar. To put it simply, I live 2 minutes from Dominoes and LC but prefer to go over to Pizza Now when I want something quick. Ever since Gene, the owner, stopped running the counter in West Chicago the young guys back there are kind of inept. They give a sense that they don't really want to be there, but when Gene is there he is always willing to talk to customers and is the friendliest guy in the world. Give the place a first and/or second chance. It's good.

I've ordered Chinese food from almost every other restaurant in the area and NONE can come even close to Din Hua. The owner is super nice and always there because they care that much about their food! Our standard order is the Shrimp Chow Mein - not puny shrimp but nice big plump fish that are always perfectly cooked. Veggies are crisp and crunchy - never overlooked. Veggie Fried Rice. Lo Mein and Orange chicken are a few other faves from here. I love that the Chicken Is actual Chicken Breast and not dark meat or fatty at all. If you're looking for the best Chinese food in the area give Din Hua a try - they won't disappoint!
Great food, better prices. Their orange chicken is the best around and the portion sizes are huge; one order can easily fill two people.
Well poor service poor food And they played Japanese tv so loud we all asked for them to turn it off Has very little meat in dish and little snow pea but it was all sauce Not good

This place had terrible service, poor sanitation and horrible food. I'm not sure if the Mile High Bacon burger is suppose to have bacon bits on it and not actual strips of bacon, but the tv ads and the advertisement is false then because it shows actual fresh bacon strips..not dried out bacon bits from bottle sprinkled and cooked in...my boyfriend had this and I hope he shows the pictures he took because it was the most disappointing, disgusting excuse for a burger in the world. I had the jalapeño turkey burger and I felt that mcdonalds actually did a much better job for a fraction of the price. The jalapeños at mcdonalds are evenly dispersed and they actually have a sauce that goes with the burger, not just some generic thousand island. I also was horrified to find the lemons for the tea was open for anyone to sneeze on, which I think violates health codes, with no tongs as well. The cups that we were given were also handled from the inside out, which also violates code and the staff didn't seem to mind. I felt it was odd that a company that a home shopping network on radio was there, not for an event but it seemed like a permanent fixture. Most fast food places discourage solicitation but the place was so empty that they probably welcomed what little customers that they could scramble their way. It was annoying being bothered when I was eating by a company I never heard before, nor did I care to know in the first place. I honest to God don't see the attraction to coming here, as for the quality doesn't match the price and there are so many better options surrounding them that fill you up more, are fresh and taste better.
Overall bad experience at Hardee's, ordered the bacon thick burger/fries combo, received a regular cheese burger and curly fries? If getting the order wrong wasn't bad enough the food was ice cold like it was sitting out for hours, didn't even ask for a new meal just dumped it and left.
the burgers and fries are great here, last time I was here I got the mushroom burger and it was just great. granted you might need a fork and knife to eat it but who cares lol. also friendly cashiers

Best customer service I've ever received at Starbucks. I can tell some of the employees have been there for awhile and love their jobs. They usually greet me with light and friendly conversation and if they mess up I hardly notice, but they offer to compensate with an extra free drink. Sometimes they slip in little deals for you if they like you. Every single one of them is so happy and friendly. In the summer when I used to get treat receipts, one of the employees let me keep my receipts to use again later that day. :) The atmosphere is cozy with great cafe music but if you're planning to work on something or study you'll have to catch them at a non-busy time. There are usually always people taking up the seats and sometimes you'll have to wait to get a seat. Wish it was a little bigger. Other than that, great customer service and great atmosphere!
I go to this starbucks occasionally. It's not my favorite. Kind of depends who is working. There is an older gentleman who has glasses (forgot his name ) who has worked there quite awhile. He is awesome, friendly and goes out of his way for customers. Everybody else is either unfriendly or just ok IMO. Drinks are usually done correctly, although I feel they make more mistakes then some other Starbucks. Drive thru tends to be very slow.
Love Starbucks but must say drive thru attendant Courtney is somewhat rude the ways she grabs your Starbucks card and doesn't say thank you after I spent another $5 on a coffee.
