Rock the vote! B&B is bomb always! Salads are great! I grew up on Bernie and Bettys, Gabatoni's, Luca's, Saputo's and Vic's. Over the years some have lost their luster. Gabatoni's used to half cook the sausage and then cook it through on the pizza which made them the best in town hands down. They stopped making it that way and now it 's good pizza but not great pizza. Ever since Wayne sold Vic's it has gone in the crapper! Luca and Saputo's still rock! Bernie and Betty are worth a sit down. They are still the same and I visit them every time I am in town. Much luv to one of the fields finest!

Really good pizza. This is typical old-school, Italian-American style thin crust pizza. It's greasy, old-fashioned and with great ingredients. They also have a full menu of pasta and sandwiches which are pretty good as well. The location is a very casual, dated, bar/restaurant type atmosphere that is actually suitable for couples, groups and families. Have it for lunch or dinner with generally no wait.

Every time I come I have to hit up B&B, Gabatonis, Steak and Shake, Taco Gringo, and a few others for a week of the worse eating I do all year. My parents always brought me here and over the years their food has remained very good, not like Vic's or Saputo's which went down hill. You will find no frills here just the basics but you will get great thin crust pizza every time.

My favorite pizza in Springfield. Get the thick sourdough crust - you'll thank me. Great old school family style pizzeria and bar. Homey atmosphere is best experienced in the holiday season complete with Christmas lights indoor.

my dad grew up in Springfield and has told my cousins and I many stories about how he'd go to Bernie and Betty's as a kid. We live in California and every time we go back to Springfield (1-2 times a year) we have to make a stop at B&B..Steak and Shake too, of course. It's a real laid back place and very casual. I have had several different pizza toppings throughout the years, all being really good, and have had a horesehoe or two, and also the garlic knots or whatever they are. I dont eat anything like this anymore so our last trip out to B&B I got some type of salad and it was quite good! They also serve beer and wine which always tastes great with meals!

Grew up Springfield area but had never been to B&B's until last night. Must have a horseshoe each visit home and the one last night was great. They make their own sauce---not as good as Mauldener's but not quite good.

The only pizza I'll eat in Springfield. They have a bomb-ass multi-cheese pizza with ricotta, which is weird at first. The thick crust is sourdough, my favorite type of bread, but they kind of skimp on the sauce. My parents always get poor boys as takeout, if you're into that.

I'm sorry, but I've been to B&B a few times and it's always just okay. I don't particularly like the pizza... I think Gabatoni's is better. I work really close to B&B but I'd rather eat at Boone's.

I love Bernie and Betty's, they have the best cheese bread and pizza. The San Francisco sour dough pizza is the bomb.

Great local joint to have lunch. Excellent horseshoe sandwich with great cheese sauce! For dinner their pizza is most excellent. Service can be sketchy so I can't give 5-stars but the food is great!!

I tried to order over the phone.. The guy couldn't hear me an kept hanging up on me after trying to get through for 20 mins. Needless to say I got pissed off and went to Gabatoni's funny they could hear me just fine to take my order.

Delicious pizza! I've only had carry out, so I can't comment on anything else, but it's definitely one of the best in Springfield! Waiting on my order now!

This place isn't terrible, but it isn't going to impress anyone either. The food is stuck in the 70's and 80's. Fried mushrooms? They're ok. The pizza? Someone said good ingredients. I beg to disagree. Two words - canned mushrooms - 'nuff said. There are too many places that serve good, creative, and fresh pizza. No better than 4th or 5th option for us, and we live in the neighborhood. If we didn't , this place wouldn't make the list.

One of two places in town that has the best pizza in town. Delicious thin crust pizza (you can get thick but why ruin pizza??) with just about any topping you could want. We have two standard orders - a SMOP (sausage, mushroom, onion, pepperoni) or a 4 cheese pizza (there's ricotta on it! yum!!). My only complaint about this place, and it's just me, is that they don't have real brewed iced tea. I don't like soda so I'm forced to drink water. Or beer (darn my luck). They don't put a lot of money into the decor - it's standard lower run Italian restaurant. They have private rooms too. And I swear that every chair is wobbly. I can forgive all of this because their pizza is amazing.

Pizza was just okay. Pretty much your standard hometown pizza place that everyone raves about and outsiders might not understand why. By no means bad, but nothing unique. I won't be going back. It seemed most people around us did not order pizza, whatever that means. For a Saturday night, I had hoped for better service. Frankly, the service was poor.

I love love love the pizza at this place. It is easily the best pizza in town. We order this for pick up regularly and are never disappointed. Occasionally, we go in for sit-down service. The waitstaff is always nice, and the food is always good, but service is a bit slower than I would prefer. We usually stick with pizza, but some of the sandwiches are pretty good too-- my personal favorite is the Bernie Melt.

Long time Springfield restaurant with a variety on the menu - something for everyone, but Bernie & Betty's is right on with their pizza! Casual atmosphere. Simple bar. Friendly staff. Pizza is always home made & piping hot fresh! My son loves the horse shoe here as well. Keep doing what you are doing! I always recommend to family & friends visiting Springfield!

I am new to Springfield, and my new boss took me here for lunch. I must say this was a very good choice! The food was delicious! I had a poor boy sandwich and it definitely did not disappoint me, my boss had the salad but form what she advised me the food here is very good! I will need to come back and try the other items on the menu since it did have quite a bit of selection. Staff was nice and was attentive to us while we were there. Place was clean and had a sense of old times which I kinda like. This seems like a nice place to bring the family or friends to hang out and enjoy some good food.
