I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites next door to this Dunkin Donuts for week. The drive thru service is great. After three trips they knew my order. The guy working the drive thru is fast and friendly. I like the fact that they have Turkey Sausage since I am watching my calorie intake. The sandwich this morning was hot and fresh. The only con is that they only have bottled diet coke and they charge 50 cents for a cup of ice. I do not mind paying I just wish that they had fountain drinks since I love ice in my sodas.

I wish I would have read the reviews before stopping in. This location is on my way to the train. My regular DD requires I back track and I thought I would try this one out as it was more on the way. Not only was the parking lot and inside empty, the drive through didn't appear to have many cars. The guy behind the counter did acknowledge me and appeared very busy. With him behind the counter were at least 5 other people doing nothing. I listened to one girls story she was telling two other employees but clearly the manager was not in that morning. The guy who initially told me he would be right with me did so again two other times and even asked one his do nothing colleagues to ring me up. They completely ignored him. I quietly and without a word walked out. Even as the only person inside I doubt they noticed me leave. It's frustrating to have a retailer of any kind so close to your home have such bad service. I am going to walk in there at the same time tomorrow AM. I am very curious as to whether or not this location is consistently this poor in their customer service.

asked the man to make me coffee during the day, he told me "no" I replied "no what?" and he said he did not have liquid sugar- I told him if he could please make my cookie dough iced coffee by putting hot coffee over the regular sugar since dunkin donuts LOVES to give you 3 inches of sugar.. he said he could not melt the sugar for me. A customer who was "friends" with the guy that worked there started harassing me how the dunkin man is smarter than me and I need to stop being so demanding with my drink. I go to dunkin donuts everyday and order an iced caramel coffee with cream and liquid sugar. its not that hard, I will never be returning to this location. theres no drive thru and the staff is TERRIBLE. I couldn't get my coffee and I wish I got his name!! I will only be going to the bloomingdale and addison location.

This place is getting worse and worse. I don't think they even care. They are worried about getting drive thru cleared the the customer inside who's gotta wait longer. Even tho your first. I hope they don't make it. It's the same story every time. Never going there anymore.

I came here in the morning hours and was not pleased with the amount of customer service that I had received. The person who works the morning shift overcharged me and also got my order wrong. I think he is younger, spoke quickly, and just wanted to get the line cleared as fast as possible. Why the 5 star review? Because of the people who work the night shift. This person, who seemed like management handled my order perfectly and quickly. He felt my distress in ordering an item and even worked with me to deliver more than satisfactory customer service. I live and work in Chicago so grabbing your coffee from one is unavoidable. This is by far one of the best dunkin donuts experiences I have had yet.

Wow, and this place is getting worse and worse. I think corporate should hire a staff that actually knows what they are doing. This better be the last time you all get my order wrong. It's called English people,we should all be able to speak it and understand it. If you can't even handle a basic job just give up because you are going no where in life. This Dunkin donuts sucks, I'm not coming back.

This is MY new Dunkin Donuts. 2012 started out good. I was counting calories, drinking lots of water and walking my tail off. Lately, I've been counting too many calories, drinking hot chocolates and driving thru the most convenient DD. Enough about me. This location is conveniently located on the northeast corner of Gary Avenue and Lake Street. If you're headed northbound on Gary or eastbound on Lake Street, you can turn in on a side street right behind the strip mall to easily get to the drive thru. Perks? Friendly staff. Fresh baked goods. And a punch card for your drinks. My punch card is almost full. I'm about ready for my free hot chocolate.

My complaint was with the service, or lack thereof. I went and stood in line and the female employee bypassed me for some couple with kids she knew. At first I thought it was a joke but no, she just straight out pretended I wasn't there. Needless to say I walked out and went to the Brunch Cafe next door. Way better decision.
