We've ordered it delivered to work a couple times. Each time the delivery was on time (and free). The pizza is great and the cherry dessert pizza is pretty good, you have to like cheese though. They also have coupons so you are definitely getting good pizza at a decent price and it beats the typical chain store pizzas. Oh and I forgot to mention before... they are open till 2am or 3am depending on the day & store location and deliver to hotels. So if you are traveling to the area and get to your hotel late, they will deliver to your hotel. This place is PERFECT for work functions because they have everything so no matter how picky the eater you may have in your group, you will find something for them.... Examples of their selections: They have a ton of specialty pizzas like "Thin Nachos Cheese Lovers" which is a little spicy... perfect for Football season!! They also have Super Taco Pizza, Grecian Gyro Pizza, and the list goes on and on. Their gourmet pizzas range from Ranch Style Chicken to Midnight Express (spicy beef, pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, etc. etc.). Midnight express I haven't tried but I really want to as I love spicy foods. You can also build your own pizza and they have so many toppings it'll be hard to choose just one pizza. I mean they have smokes oysters as a topping!! Phenomenal! Also more traditional toppings. Don't want a pizza? Cool! They have sandwiches, spicy (and non spicy) wings, chicken tenders, pastas, and salads.

Living in Chicago, I don't order chain/drunk/garbage pizza very often. If I want good pizza, I'll hit up a staple a la Giordano's, Gino's East, Lou Malnati's, Pizzeria Due (#1 deep) or Pequod's. In college, we knew each other quite well though. These days we are merely acquaintances. We don't talk or see each other very often. When we do, I can count on Sarpino's. Best fast food pizza. I won't even touch Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars or Papa Johns. That's below my standard. Sarpino's pizza tastes better. The cheese can't just be peeled off, the crust doesn't taste like cardboard and it's not under cooked. It's just right. On top of that you get free fast delivery. They always have coupons too. What more do you want from fast food pizza? The only thing I suggest is that you keep it simple with your order. Remember where you are ordering from. Stick to the pizza or calzones and keep the ingredients basic: cheese, pepperoni. I also hear good things about the sausage. Otherwise, you might end up with a different story.

I have currently ordered from here twice. I work third shift security and there aren't many places in Lincolnshire area that deliver late at night. My only complaint was that when calling in an order, the two times I have called, the person on the other end spoke very broken english. My suggestion is to use the online ordering form. Otherwise, solid pizza, fast delivery and well worth the money. Ordering online has multiple coupons available at point of sale as well which is a huge plus. I'm a fan.

No complaints here, I had the Italian calzone delivered to my hotel while in town on business, it was tasty, the crust was cooked properly, and delivery was fast and friendly. Pay the extra two bucks for the large calzone and you will have two meals--it was basically a whole pizza folded in half.

Love the food. Website is easy to use! Delivery is great! Amazing rewards keeps me coming back for more!

Basically the main reason that I'm justifying the 2 star rating is simply because when you're drunk and hungry, they will deliver you food to your crash spot. Unfortunately, the food delivered was not worth the money spent. 1 "Medium" Pizza (quite small) + 1 order of wings = $24.and some change - $28+ with tip. For those prices, I expect damn good food plus a possible reach-around. On a 1-5 scale: 3 Crust - dry, lacking flavor, and overworked 2 Toppings - straight out of the bag, and the "chicken" topping was basically nonexistent. I mean really, don't put chicken in your description and then add canned white meat chicken breast to a half inch of the pie. Sinners. 5 delivery- they did deliver at 2 am to my hotel room, but at a hefty increased rate. Does Taco Bell deliver? 3 wings- while they were the smallest of the small wings they surprisingly enough stayed moist throughout the travel. Downside is they had weak flavor and burnt spots. In conclusion... Does Taco Bell deliver?

I can't say that I've had bad service at this location, or that the food was bad. Maybe I got them on a good day? After a terrible day at work, I didn't feel like doing anything. Doing dishes, dusting the house, vacuuming the floors or even brushing the darn cat. (She was satisfied with this.) It was one of those days that you just want to go home, curl up on your couch with a straw in a bottle of wine and cry. You know those days, you've had them. So there was no way in hell that I was going to make dinner. My bf had homework to do, and I was the lone invitee of my pity party. So I called up the closest pizza place I knew and ordered blindly off the menu. Destiny led me to pick the "Sarpino's Cheese Bonanza." After bribing him to come with me to pick up, he piled into the car and headed to Sarpino's. (After picking up beer, of course. Who eats pizza without beer?) The young guys who were working the counter were polite and gave us our order without questions. I also got two dipping sauces to go. They gave us them for free, which was nice. The garlic butter one was odd, it tasted like a dressing, but the chipotle ranch was pretty tasty. Our Cheese Bonanza hit the spot. It turns out that hot melted, parmesan, cheddar, ricotta and feta cheeses were enough to stop my tears from falling. Washed down with a cold brew, I felt like my attitude turned around a little bit. Falling asleep with full belly and a calm mind made my day a lot better. So, Thanks Sarpino's. I'd order you again. :)

I'm halfway through my italian calzone, and it's sooo tasty that I paused to let others know they should try one too.

I hate to start a review out with a cliche, but... "it is what it is." This Sarpino's (like other ones) has fairly late delivery hours (2-3AM) which gives them an edge on a lot of business they ordinarily wouldn't have. So kudos on that. And... my experience with this Sarpino's is that their delivery has been pretty dependable - another thumbs up. But... it is and always will be chain pizza - and not really all that good a pizza either. Go for it if you've got the late night munchies and aren't up for a "run to the border." But if you're ordering this stuff when you can get great pizza at a plethora of independent pizza places in the area, well, then shame on you!

Their pizza gave my boyfriend and I HORRIBLE food poisoning. We ate the pizza, and I started feeling sick about 4 hours later, and about 3 hours after that I was in the bathroom...and you know the rest. Come to find out that my boyfriend was sick too--literally at the exact same time I was. I called the restaurant the next day to tell them and the manager was EXTREMELY rude to me about it. He assured me that there was no possible way his pizza could give me food poisoning. "Well it did..." I told him and all he repeated was "No no no no!" Needless to say, after the horrible food poisoning experience and their lack of sympathy about it, I will NEVER be going back to this place.

My boyfriend and I have ordered pizzas here and have had them delivered to my home in Vernon Hills on numerous occasions. The pizza never disappointed us either and the delivery was pretty much on time. However, the past experience was a complete disappointment. We came home from vacation and wanted a bite to eat. So, we called Sarpinos around 9pm on Wednesday. My boyfriend was on hold for a while even before his order was taken. The employee on the phone first asked him where he lived. My boyfriend told him. The employee told him that he could not deliver the order to our house. My boyfriend told him that he could come pick it up. But, that defeated the whole purpose of our call since we wanted delivery. Needless to say, we did not place our order and we were completely disappointed with the lack of service.

Poor customer service, late arrival for delivery, delivery driver hung up on me twice, and the pizza was barely even warm. Very disappointed! Find a different place to order people from!!!

Great delivery pizza at a good price! They always have coupons and I love the option of ordering on line! Any delivery man that can find our house in the woods, riverwoods, is a class act in my book! Also love the selection of dipping sauces! The jalepeno ranch sauce is grand!

I'm a little unsure what I should say about Sarpino's. The pepperoni pizza I had last weekend wasn't bad tasting at all, but I had an awful experience with a different Sarpino's location in the past and considering the awful reviews, I wonder if my decent pizza and prompt delivery was a fluke. The delivery address was literally a block away from this location, which I hadn't known at the time, so of course delivery was prompt. The regular prices are a little expensive actually. They offer a lot of crazy cheap coupons and bogo half off pizza deals and they have a lot of variety in their pizzas also. Also, delivery is free.

Wow, is this bad pizza! Found the menu in the drawer tonight and thought I would give it a try. With so many good pizza places in the area sometimes you have to force yourself to try something new. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! Where do I start? 1. The driver showed up very late, like 30 minutes late. 2. The buffalo wings (I know, what was I thinking) were greasy, undercooked, and coated in some greasy fake buffalo sauce. 3. The cheese was burnt on our pizza 4. The ingredients appeared to have at one times passed over the pizza without every finding there way there. 5. The sauce tastes like ketchup 6. The crust tasted freezer burnt Stay away! Dominos or Papa Johns is a much better choice.

This place is really bad. The pizza is the lowest quality you could hope for even at 2 am, and that's sad. They are completely rude, too. If I could give it zero, I would.

Ordered a small pizza for pickup. Not only was it not ready at the promised time, it turns out they were running a special, and the cost of a large pizza was actually less than a small, which they never bothered to tell me - good marketing. They didn't offer me anything for the wait, and the pizza was just so-so. Never went back - life's too short for uncaring, bad customer service.

I would come here after Cubby Bear North would close at 1:30. See in the Northern Suburbs things actually close, and this is one of very few places that didn't close before 1. I would end up coming here and getting a salad, a sandwich, or even some wings. I don't know if it was because I was slightly past drunk or if the food was actually good, but either way I enjoy whatever I got. Oh, also my pizza-hating self actually ate the pizza cause they have two custom pizzas with pesto sauce. They are out of this world and oh-so-yummy. Damnit, I wish I lived back home only for the same of being able to order one now.

The Pizza was the way I liked it, cooked well without stringy cheese. The taste was pretty good, one of the better 'Fast Food" pizza's I liked. My major problem is portions. I ordered a make your own medium pizza with Sausage, and Onions. While I love the taste of the sausage, there was barely enough on it to get a taste with every bite, and considering the cost is about $6.00 more then most of their competitors pizzas, I feel it was NOT a good value for the money. The Calzone was awesome, make just the way I ordered it. I would recommend Sarpinos only if they make the pizza the way it looks on their menu, otherwise it is a ripoff for the price. At their current prices for their pizza, I would recommend, Marcello's Father & Son Restaurant in Northbrook. Worth the 10-15 minute trip.

If you want a Salad don't order from Sarpino's. Today I got what I would call smaller than small salad. The price for this salad was $5.94 that is with a 15% discount. If you want a real salad go to Dominicks or Mariano's. You can get a FRESH salad with what ever you want on it for $4.50. I personally will never eat at any Sarpino's. Lets also add that the manager should not be the manager. I am a manager and would never have taken the chance of loosing a person who sends LOTS of business their way. That business is officially gone along with all their menus.

I was in city nearby and was told this was a great place and they offer free delivery so I thought why not give them a try. The highlight of the order was that I wanted to ordered a small salad and I told the guy that I wanted just lettuce and tomatoes and french dressing - he must not have heard me right and said we cant just give you a container of tomatoes - you need to order lettuce too! :) I ordered the Baked Lasagna and Baked Meat Ravioli and I would say that the lasagna was better than the ravioli by far. The taste of the ravioli was very sweet tasting and it was horrible. I received an order of the garlic bread and by the time I received it - it was soggy and had no flavor at all. The only other good note was that it was very quick delivery but what is the point if the food sucks.

Besides being open later than most, it's just okay. I'd go here before Domino's or Pizza Hut, but that's about it. They do have some interesting "gourmet" pizzas like Grecian or Mexicana, but realize it is still about Pizza Hut quality.

Definitely my favorite pizza place in this suburb. I really like their online system for ordering. You can build custom pizzas with ingredients of your choice. Very user friendly website and neatly maintained. I have ordered about 1000times in the last 2 years and I have neverfaced any issue. NICE PLACE FOR PIZZAS AND WINGS

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
