Homemade food and great, always-changing selection of craft beer.

Sad to say, the pizza wasn't very good. The crust was rock hard and it was cooked to death....black around the edge. The cheese had boiled and bubbled and then turned hard on top. The toppings were really skimpy. One olive on a piece and nothing else? Several pieces were like that. There were 3 pizzas on our table and they were all the same. Our waiter was a nice guy but needs to go to waiter school. No napkins, plates or utensils. We had to ask and then wait for them. (Pretty basic stuff). He never came back to refill drinks until we were all done. The saving grace was playing trivia. That was fun. That is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1. There are too many good pizza places around to ever come back here.

Pizza was tasteless unless you enjoy bland sauce and american cheese on a pizza. Service was great and the craft beer rocks. They even had a craft beer takehome glass.

Ordered the Atomic Burger with Fried Pickles (Frickles). The burger was super spicy and didn't have much of any other flavor, but the Frickles, oh boy, the Frickles cannot be compared to anything I've ever eaten before! It's sweet, it's savory, it's (mildly) spicy, it's crunchy, it's fried! My tastebuds feel all tingly just thinking about them.

Love their fried pickles and pizza! I love the atmosphere of an old house converted into a restaurant. I always order the pickles, they are homemade pickles and the creamy dill dip is an awesome compliment to them.

Got here at 7:20. Ignored until 7:35. Drinks at 7:50. Still waiting. Terrible service.

Okay.. every restaurant in Peoria cannot be 5 stars folks. That kind of defeats the purpose of rating. I digress. Oliver's was a good stop. The service was good. The food was good. The beer was good. The old fashioned was not good-I don't think you could put an OF in a smaller glass and call it an OF unless you had a shot glass and with some orange and cherries on the side. For 8.50 you need to provide a bonafide drink. Pizza was really tasty. Crispy crust and the toppings were good. TLDR: Service great and food served quickly. Beer good. Old fashioned, not good. Atmosphere was excellent. Great music.

Girlfriend and I stopped by for a bite to eat. Ordered a large pizza with onion, mushroom, green pepper, sausage. The wait staff was nice, but it was definitely understaffed as it took a looooong time to get our pizza. Ordered a milk stout which was very tasty and if I wasn't driving I would have definitely gotten another! When we got our pizza we unfortunately were underwhelmed. It was super small for what I consider a "large" pizza to be, the gf also said it was a little soggy, and it just was not anything special. I was really hoping for something better. The over all dining experience was nice and the house and backyard was very "cute". Might come back one day to give it another chance, but it's nothing special I will remember. Another strange thing was that they had cartoon Star Wars playing on the TV with no kids present....

Hip, new spot for dinner/drinks in Peoria. Located on Willow Knolls across from Kellogg GC, Oliver's has Peoria's most robust selection of craft beers. Most of the handles are from local distributor Marketplace Selections, so this is definitely the place for the craft beer connoisseur. Trivia on Thursday nights is also a big draw. I would highly recommend Oliver's for drinks or dinner! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is cozy, homey and intimate.

Great thin crust pizza, fried cheese curds, beer floats, craft beers, etc. The menu is constantly changing to keep things fresh. Two patios for outside dining as well.

Excellent thin crust pizza and breadsticks. This was our first visit to Oliver's. We will definitely be back!

If you're expecting the Heights Oliver's in Peoria you'll have to adjust your expectations upwards. Just had drinks and some fried pickles which were good. Beer prices are great (like other location) but the fried pickles were a little steep. However the building and bar area are extremely nice. Definitely will return again. Always nice to have another place that makes you think you're not in Peoria.

Thank You!! The hostess was amazing. She found things to keep our 15 month old son occupied. The food was delicious and our waitress was attentive and outstanding....we originally came because our son's name is Oliver but we stayed because it was a great atmosphere and tasty food.

Came in late on a week night and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about his products. Ordered a sandwich for a friend that was joining us; I snitched most of her fries because they were so delicious! They've got a kick, be warned! Beer was excellent and fresh. I enjoyed the home-like decor and atmosphere. Too cold to go outside but I've heard their beer garden is very cute! I will definitely be back!

Great beer on tap, craft beer that is . Had the wings, they were excellent. Also had a pizza, it was good. The wing's were the star and the beer. Little odd sitting in the upstairs when the entire dining room was empty? Felt sorry for the wait staff!! Must of had a party scheduled?

I really want to like this place! Within walking distance, it could be a fun place to hang out after work. Both times I have gone, the service has been very slow. It was almost like our server forgot about us. Two dishes were brougjt out a good 5 min apart, with the second being cold. The food was good, leaning towards very good. Had it been hot and not taken over an hour to get, I am sure it would have been very good. Beer selection is decent, but not great. I will give it a third try at some point. Hoping they just need to work the new place kinks out. Overall, I would say give it a shot, but be prepared to wait for your food and servers.

Oliver's it's a great place to grab a beer or two and chill. They have some incredible food, although the appetizer portions are a bit small. The mixed drinks are also really good, and the staff, especially Mike, are really knowledgeable about the beer and alcohol they serve. With a friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere, and awesome food, I'd highly recommend Oliver's north.

This is the only place in Peoria that curates their beer menu to this degree and has a staff loaded with Cicerone Certified Beer Servers. The food is upscale gastropub without being pretentious or overpriced, and the menu perfectly complements their unmatched beer selection. I give them my highest possible recommendation, and I hope other places in Peoria take notice of what Oliver's is doing! They also have a spectacular patio, which is a nice bonus!

Fun, interesting food. Enough common items with interesting flair to appeal to those that "know what they like" and to those that are "looking for something different". Comfortable, homey, and classy feel all at the same time; which is an interesting mix, but Oliver's executes it flawlessly. I was impressed and happy to be here. Try it, I think you'll want to become a regular.

Great food, Great atmosphere, Great beer selection. Olivers north feels like a prospect bar plopped in a cozy little area off Willowknowls with plenty of easy access parking.

We had a great time here. Excellent food and drinks! Our server was friendly and on top of things. We never had to ask for refills and our pizza was wonderful.

Went here with a few friends a few weeks ago. I heard it was new and different from the other Oliver's in the Heights so I wanted to check it out. I was honestly pretty disappointed. Our server was okay, but seemed pretty distracted by talking to the other servers and hanging out more than checking on us. We got fried cheese curds which were okay, but pretty salty. Our pizza was average but it took FOREVER to get to us and the bottom was kind of burnt. It almost seemed like they forgot about it in the oven and it was a bit cold, so maybe it sat in the kitchen for a while, which wouldn't have happened if our server wasn't chatting with her friends at the host stand. The restaurant itself is cute and the pretty blonde bartender, I think her name was Jill? was awesome and so sweet. She came and greeted us and chatted which made up for the other things that were disappointing. It seemed like she was the only manager working and she was also bartending alone, so I felt bad for her. maybe the all the other managers and bartenders were sick that day, but this sweet girl could probably use some help! I'm a huge craft beer fan, and they had some good selections on tap like some Two Brothers and Left Hand Milk Stout, but for a bar that "specializes" in craft beer I was a little bit disappointed. I've had much better and larger selections at other places in town. My friend got an RC to drink which was really quite shocking to me. Why on earth would a restaurant serve RC products? Hopefully they are just getting over the new restaurant hump and we can expect improvement in the future!
