Finally a sports bar in southern Illinois that doesn't rely on grease to mask the lack of flavor in their food! Syberg's offers a unique menu and excellent specials. I always have to order the shark bites cooked Cajun style. I love that they serve them with fresh fruit instead of French fries...it's always refreshing to see restaurants heading in the healthy direction. Today they have $3 Pearl vodka you-call-its. Basically any flavor of Pearl vodka and any mixer. Considering Pearl makes every flavor of vodka under the sun, your selection is only hindered by your imagination. Go crazy :) This place is awesome and definitely see myself becoming a regular.

We went to Sybergs when it first opened because we have went to their other location in St Louis and loved their food and was excited that there was now one on the Illinois side of the river and out experience was above average and the food was good but the service was the only reason for not being 5 star. I love eating wings but hate the sauce being on the wings and I asked for the sauce to be but on the side twice and after about 45 minutes of waiting they come out with sauce all over them. Now usually the server would ask if you would like them to make another order without but we didn't get that option. It was just put on the table and that was kind of that. We have not been back to this location but would consider it again down the road. Like I said food was great just wish the service was better.

A few of my friends wanted to check this place out and so we decided to catch a Thursday night Blues game at Syberg's. We didn't know what to expect, but we had high hopes. Our high hopes were immediately washed away when it took almost 10 minutes to get greeted by our server. We asked her what the drink specials were and she informed us that the drink specials could only be purchased on the bar side of the store. We had never heard of this and thought it was strange so we didn't get any special. For what it's worth, their 'special' was $14 for a bucket of 5 domestics. I was pretty taken back because you can get the same thing for $10 at 3 different places within 5 miles of Syberg's. We nail in the coffin was when our server brought us our drinks almost another 10 minutes after ordering AND not one drink had any carbonation. There was no head, which was good, but there were zero bubbles coming from the bottom. Turns out it was very warm. We each took a sip to confirm our suspicions and we informed our server that we did not want to pay for the drinks and we were going to leave. When our server brought us our check for the pretzel appetizer that we ordered, she tossed the check book in front of me. All of us were taken back because we feel we did not do anything to personally offend her and that her actions were unacceptable. We had high expectations but the prices, quality of drinks, and service did NOT win us over.

Went on a Friday afternoon and the bartender had the whole bar area which was slightly crowded. She was a good server, brought water often but when we asked the host to turn down the music that abruptly turned up, she replied, "I guess I can see what I can do." They eventually turned it down. The appetizers are average, especially for the price. The only thing to go here for are wings and a beer, even though the beer is even slightly over priced. Overall, not impressed.

The hostess were a little weird making it awkward. The three of them acted like it was their first day and had little experience. The waiter was nice. I noticed everyone had bread but us and the waiter said he forgot. Then he came back and said the bread was stale and was going to bring us a fresh one. We didn't get the bread until we were done with our food. The food was less than average. I ordered the jack Daniels steak but it lacked seasoning. My mom had the burger though and said that was good. Really not impressed at. The only thing saving them was the waiter was nice.

Every time we go here we have a good experience and the food is good. We love playing yahtzi too :) (they provide it on every table)

I was meeting a friend before the movie premier. Very quick service as I seated myself. I order the Blue Moon on tap, half price appetizers from 4 to 6. I got the spicy Bourbon chicken tenders, tasty and spicy, made me have a second beer. When my friend arrived he ordered the Shark bites, I was told it is what Syberg's is famous for. They were tasty. Good service, fun place to watch a game, big screens everywhere and good beer.

We went here with a large group of people on a Tuesday night. While it was a good setting for a large group, as they were accommodating and it was not too busy. The service was also good. However, the food was not so good. The bread brought to the table was both hard and old-tasting. The toasted ravioli was bland and dry. The sauce with the toasted ravioli had a sweet taste. The fries are also terrible. I would rather just make my own frozen french fries. The chocolate chip cookie dessert wasn't bad, but the cookie seemed overbaked, so it was better once some of the ice cream soaked into it. I wouldn't go back.

It was actually nice enough to sit on the patio! Service was good. Aimee took great care of us. Beer and wine selection was solid. We had a variety from the menu: shark bites to start (pretty nice), steak, chicken meatball pizza, and I had the Cajun burger sans bun. All in all a good experience tho the waitstaff should be empowered to put a fire in the fire pit any nite there are folks out in the patio.

Great apps. Love all the huge tv's. Great place to grab an appetizer and watch a game. Can be a bit loud, but to be expected with a place like this. Recommended.

I'm a little disappointed.. I brought visiting family members here and we watched everyone around getting their food while we waited. We sat for quite some time waiting on drinks and or refills. I found this to be terribly annoying. The food was pretty good, cold fries all around which indicates food was waiting to be served. I would not need to re-visit anytime soon.

Excellent food at an affordable price. The kid's menu is extensive, with ice cream, for under $5. Shark and wings are delicious.

I went in with high hopes. My sole problem is the spinach and artichoke dip. Just start over. It's horrible. Turkey burger was so good. I would go back for that. Service wasn't excellent, but it wasn't awful either. The waitress seemed new, but friendly enough. It really was that dip. Yuck.

Reasonable prices, great service and the best pasta dish I've ever had! What more can I say, we will be back! Delish!

Really enjoyed shark tacos. Husband said we have to come back. Outdoor seating was comfy and cards were on!

Overpriced, par for the course service. About what you'd expect. Not awful; not exceptional. Depends on the night really.

Excellent restaurant! Great food and great service. They actually have shark! Yes, shark. Very good. My family and I will definitely frequent this place.

Almost walked out I was so upset but not too many options nearby to walk to. I went to order a salad but saw that they ration their dressing like sugar during WWII. My husband ordered shark bites. I refused to order anything and give this Nazi dressing restaurant my business. Will never come back.

We have been here several times. Good wings, pizza and cheesy chicken dip. Service is never very good. They need to train their staff.

We arrived about 5:15p. We were seated pretty quickly. I started with the 5 finger app platter. sooooo not worth $15, at least not for us. You get 3 cheese sticks, 3 buffalo wings, 3 potato skins, &3 shrimp wonton dealies. They were good but kinda small. I was the only one who ate the hot wings. I ordered the brown sugar wings and homemade chips. the chips were really tasty. I do like bar/pub chips. I honestly thought the brown sugar would be like this sticky salty sweet kind of sauce. I was so wrong! They tasted like regular hot wings. I asked to exchange them for teriyaki wings. those were better and good just not what I wanted. I will be back the food was not horrible. It is actually just kind of standard bar food in my book.

I have never gotten anything here that wasn't good. The wing sauce is my favorite of all time!

Went to Sybergs on 16 Feb 2014 (Sunday) around 4:30 pm. Our server initials are A.F. The foods were okay, but she was the main reason that we will never go back there again. We ordered 6 chicken wings, seafood salad, gumbo, shark tacos, grand margarita and a good island beer. The chicken wings were just okay and on the dry side. The seafood salad was okay with maybe 8 big shrimps and imitation crab meats. Shark tacos were pretty good actually, but I think any fish would have made the taco better. The gumbo was NOT gumbo! Minestrone soup plus spicy sausage does not a gumbo make! If Sybergs have any questions about how to cook Gumbo, please contact me. When we were almost done with our meal we start noticing something that was missing from our table. Sybergs serves bread and butter for free after you sit down, well... we didn't get ours. So we asked nicely for our bread, and at this moment A.F turned horrible. She placed the bread at our table and walked away. No sorry, no "let me know if you need anything"... she just turned and walk away. After the bread was done, we waited and waited for our bill. And we waited some more. Then A.F. parted the other servers like she was in a slow motion portion of an action film. She placed the bill on the table, turned and walked away. I had my credit card in the folder ready and I held it up and I waited for someone, anyone to pick up the bill.... and I waited and waited. A.F. walked by our table twice without taking my credit card. That's when I knew it was personal. Why??? Was it because I called her out on a "bread" mistake? For that, you got a $2 tip on a $53 bill. Congratulations, you are the FIRST server I tipped lower than 15%... ever! A.F. thanks a lot. You made an okay meal turned into a mediocre meal in 2.5 seconds.

I've been to all of the Sybergs in St. Louis. Shark bites and wings are always a good thing to order. Service was average, but the food was excellent.

I have given this place multiple attempts and decided, the only thing that is good is their wings in their Syberg's sauce. The onion rings and chicken strips looked good in the pictures on the menu, but they were bland and had no seasoning to them. Tried the NY style pizza and again, not impressed! I'm done!

Went to Syberg's in O'Fallon, IL on a Friday evening. The juke box was playing good music. Music was loud but okay. We ordered a Cajun Pepper Jack Burger & Syburger. I took about 15 - 20 mins to get the food - not to bad. Ordered the burgers medium rare and the cook did a superb job. We had a great time and the food was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend you try Sybergs at least once.

For a newly opened restaurant, this place seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. The service was fantastic. Our server arrived at our table minutes after we were seated and she checked on us frequently, but not so much so that we felt we were being hurried along or hovered over. Our food was tasty, arrived hot and was cooked perfectly. I had the mahi mahi sandwich and it was very delicious. I ordered sweet potato fries as a side item, and they were plentiful, although overly salty. Still they were crispy and hot, so I can get past them being too salty. My husband had a burger and fries, which he devoured and loved. My kids ordered from the children's menu. My older daughter had a pizza, with fries as a side item. The pizza was huge and had a cracker thin crust and was just delicious. I am going to order the pizza next time...it was that good. My youngest daughter had mac 'n cheese with a side of fruit. The mac 'n cheese looked like it was not homemade, but my daughter ate every bite, along with nearly all of her fruit (which was fresh fruit and not fruit cocktail). We all really enjoyed our dinner, and since it's rare to find a place all four of us can agree upon, I know we'll be back. Good food..good service...and a great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere as a Sport's Bar. Shark chunks/bites were great however, fries were not hot at all. Ordered an appetizer and it was brought to us approx 1 min prior to our entree. Overall, not a bad place to go hang and have a few beers. Constructive criticism - they need to work on keeping their food hot and not make patrons feel like they are being rushed.

This was our second time dining at Syberg's. The first time was just okay, however, the original wings were really good. The second time we went we were expecting okay food at an okay price....nothing special was expected based on our first dine. Once again, the wings were good. However, the rest of the food was sub-par. Why people stand in line for this food, really confuses me. One of our party ordered the fish and chips, and it came out nearly burnt crisp. The manager did the right thing and comp'ed the meal, but we could not all eat together. The bread came out hard as a rock, and they readily replaced it. The gumbo is like tomato soup with sausage and seafood mixed in. For service, we were never even asked for an ice tea refill. Syberg's made everything right, but the mistakes in serving and service should have never happened in the first place.

I love Syberg's. When they opened the O'Fallon location, I was super excited! I'm a huge fan of their food. My favorites are the Mahi sandwich, the fried fish sandwich and the chicken philly. Everything I've ever gotten was good and the service has always been great too. The only complaint I have is their pizza crust is always burnt on the bottom. As a pizza lover, this makes me sad.
