Oatmeal coffee cake was delicious! Owner and staff super friendly a nice alternative to Starbucks. If I'm in the area I will come back.
Delicious drinks! The most delicious frappe I've ever had! They offer a nice variety of drinks. Hot & cold. Starbucks is my least favorite coffee shop. It was nice to find a better alternative. This place offered a nice combination of ambience, friendly staff & excellent service. So glad we stumbled on it!
Stop here for a quick lunch had the chicken Caesar salad which was good with a house coffee which was okay.

I like to eat at haven ever night and then after a year I put all of my used haven cups into my bed and sleep with them. Mmmmmm.
Love Ice Cream Haven. Mourn the winter season when they are closed. I am addicted to the chocolate/vanilla swirl cone. But changed it up a bit with the vanilla Heath concrete. Sounds plain jane but I swear there is some type of addictive substance that keeps me coming back for more!
Cheap and tasty! Been coming here for 14 years and have never had a problem. It's run by a husband-wife team and yes, the husband can be a bit quiet, but he has never been rude to me. His wife is a total sweetheart and more friendly with the customers. The menu is fairly simple but the prices cannot be beat. The "Turtle Pie Sundae" is an entire slice of pie smothered in a huge bowl of ice cream. Price? $3! We can set the entire family up (4 of us) with ice cream for less than $10. The place is cash only, which is probably one way they are able to keep their prices so low. There is outside seating and plenty of parking.

This was a wonderful experience. The burger, bun and fries were so fresh, unlike most burger places. The prices were very fair. I will be returning. Keep up the great work.
Jack in the Box this morning was very efficient. They did quite well with a very large order. There was one item missing but it was just hash rounds and my employee didn't want them anyway. This is was the reasoning for 4 stars. The order taker and person that greeted us at the Window were cheery and positive even on this gloomy morning. We will be back!
I like their chicken strip meal. It isn't really anything special though. Their toasted turkey sandwich is really good. Also, they have very good breakfast sandwiches. For desserts, their churros and cheesecake are both good choices. The cookies are hard, don't get them. I've never had the fish tacos but I have heard nothing but good things about them. (I don't eat fish from burger places). Oh and this particular Jack in the Box likes to forget half of your order a lot when you go through the drive thru so please double check your order before driving off!

Ooohhh buddy, the good ole Cracker Barrel, am I really entering this place for breakfast? Yup, this PNW girl is in the Midwest and about get her grub on here, finally:) I love to visit restaurants that you see and hear about that aren't local to your own area and this place is one of them! Walking up the place looks like a big old barn and upon entering it's a like a gift shop before you get to the restaurant, crazy cool and smart since I'm sure this place has a line sometimes. As I took time to look over the menu, I couldn't really decide what I wanted, everything looked so good and I'm traditionally a biscuits and gravy gal but I wanted to try their grits and hashbrown casserole too! So I went in and got a lil bit of it all and it sure was delicious! The service was great as well, prompt and attentive. Beat's IHOP and Denny's anyday!
just went and got the cutest halloween toys for my baby its hard to find halloween things in august and found a few here. food was good bacon and eggs grwat coffee wasn't hot enough but nothing to complain about thanks for breakfast
Cracker Barrel breakfast is the best in town. Easy to order and was ready to go as soon as I got there.

Andria’s Restaurant

Reviews:
I absolutely love this place. Great for a romantic dinner! Steak is exceptional. I brought my own wine so there is a corking fee.
Decent steaks. But, for the price paid I would expect much better service. Their service here is terrible. My wife and I were so disgusted with our last experience that we left, before we let them ruin our anniversary. The service was terrible from every aspect. Poor phone service. Poor hostess. Terrible server. Trust me, there are better steaks around town. Don't believe the hype.
I've been to Andria's several times, most recently for a celebration dinner for my parents. It was a larger party with nine of us there, and luckily we were able to get a reservation since it was a week night (no reservations on Saturday nights). We were seated right away but the service was a bit slower than usual. The place was packed and our waitress was really hustling, but I wish they had been staffed more appropriately that evening. When our food came, they would bring two or three at a time, and then there would be a bit of a lag before the next round was delivered. It wasn't excessively long but definitely long enough to be noticeable. The food here has yet to disappoint. All steaks are served with a salad (with a very tasty house dressing, if you choose) and a baked potato. I love their baked potatoes but if you really want to indulge, you can go with the twice-baked which comes dressed with sour cream, bacon, cheese and all kinds of other yumminess. Can't imagine how I'd possibly finish everything with that, though, because it's already an overwhelming amount of food. The steaks are truly phenomenal but they're all so big. I think the smallest cut is 8 oz. and don't get me wrong, I have no problem putting that away, but it's a lot of food.

Qdoba Mexican Grill

3210 Green Mount Crossing Dr
O Fallon, 62269
Reviews:
You like Mexican food? How about large stuffed burritos with good meats, cheese, and other fixings? Qdoba is the place to go if you answered "yes" to either of the questions. Now, before I address the food, let me address a "problem" with the price. I do not mind paying $10 for an overstuffed burrito that can fill me up (and I'm a pretty big guy.) So, if you don't mind paying $10 for a large burrito, then go ahead and hit this place up. Now the food. And let me tell you. I have never tasted a better burrito (Heck, I think this is better than Chipotle). The burrito is made right in front of you. As you go along the line, you can put what you want on it and watch the burrito get bigger and fatter. Its's amazing how they're able to wrap something that big up in aluminum foil. Now, among the burrito, you can get nachos or chips and salsa, but in my opinion, if you want to come to Qdoba, come for the burritos! Worth the money and your belly.
I love Qdoba because it's not around where I live, so I tend to stop when I see one. I stopped at this one and within 10 seconds I could see that it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. Made eye contact with the man at the register as I walked in, he had no customer in front of him and didn't even say Hi welcome to Qdoba, just stared at me. The first guy taking orders was very short with people and almost seemed annoyed that he had to listen to what you wanted to eat. The woman putting on toppings also seemed annoyed and was simply plopping the toppings on there. My girlfriend hadn't been to a Qdoba before so asked a question and the woman acted like that was out of place. I did enjoy my food, so 2 stars for that, but my god, you're in the service industry, smile and be friendly.
Since it's located right off 64, coming here for lunch on a work day is a no brainer. The only reason I opt not to is how much food you get. Mind you, this is not at all a bad thing, but it would have to sit in my car while I finish my work day. I can usually only finish half a vegetarian burrito. Their loyalty program is awesome. At 1000 points, you get a free entree. One entree counts as 100 points and even if you're not paying for the entree, you can give the cashier your loyalty card for the points if you come with friends (I've done this on numerous occasions). Their selection is far superior to that of Chipotle AND for those of you who are vegetarian, you can actually eat their pinto beans. Little known fact, Chipotle's pinto beans are infused with bacon fat. Blech. One last note: if you're military, your drink is free! Pretty awesome incentives.

La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

1333 Central Park Dr
O Fallon, 62269
Reviews:
Lets go with 2.5 stars...meh...maybe 3. La Parilla is one of those restaurants where there's going to be one dish that sticks out, and the others will be left in the dust. Out of the three times I have taken out, I have had four dishes, one of those turned out to be, not as authentic, yet exceptional. Chile Rellenos- For some reason, I wasn't impressed with this dish. It seemed to heavy, and the peppers didn't seem to blend in with the rest of the food. Burrito- Not impressed with this. The tortilla and the meat was dry; no flavor. Tamales- VERY DISAPPOINTED. I've traveled all over the country and have been fortunate enough to belong to a culture(s) to have exceptional cuisine. The best food is the one that takes all day to make! Tamales are one of those dishes. Though tamales are different in all parts of many Hispanic cultures, GOOD tamales are supposed to be soft, not dry, and with a kick. You should also know what kind of meat you're eating, too. With these tamales, the maza (coating) and the...meat (beef? pork?) was dry. Rarely have I seen the mole sauce cover the tamales, and that in itself was spicy but not flavorful. These tamales didn't taste as if they were made with the time and effort other tamales are. I would go as far to say that I would take a frozen tamale from a local Schnucks over this mess. EDIT: So, I realized two things about these tamales. When I got them, they were kinda warm and stiff. When REALLY heated them (after I wrote this review). It was better. The meat was still dry and sub-par, but the maza (too much, really) was soft and edible. It also makes me wonder if I got it at the resturant, would it still taste the same? I got this as take out, and there is no way I should have to reheat take out--and yes, I live 5 minutes from this place so its not as if it is cooled considerably. That's silly. It also doesn't help that their food comes in aluminum containers so you can't just willi-nillie heat it up ASAP. Arroz con pollo- When I think of arroz con pollo, I think of a whole peice of chicken on top of a bed of rice. This rice typically has your standard vegetables, corn, beans, etc. AT LP, they cut tiny pieces of chicken up and serve it with cheesy rice, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, broccoli and cauliflower. At first bite, I wasn't fond of it but it grew on me and I love it. No, its not your typical arroz con pollo but its still worth trying, as it has a very fresh and clean taste. My only problem is that with this dish, the chicken needs to cook along with the rice, but in this dish, the chicken and the rice were cooked differently-- at least it tasted like it. Other than that, the place seemed nice. My other complaint is that the lady said that the tamales were 1.99 but when I got there she said that it was 2.29. She said she was sorry, but, if she gets the $ wrong, I think I deserve to get my food at the price I thought it was. I was so lucky I went in the restaurant with an extra couple of dollars because if I didn't, I wouldn't have had enough money to pay :( My meal has always come with their salsa and chips. They're your standard kind, I suppose, though, I prefer Tostidos with my awesome mango salsa. I don't hate this place, but my opinion of it goes down the more I go. I'll try somewhere else next time.
This place has kind of gone down hill. All the Mexican food in this area tastes the same. The frozen mango margaritas are great, though!
I love this place. I've been a frequent customer for about 5 years now. The buffet is amazing. That's what I usually get. Tonight I had the $4.99 house jumbo margarita and fajita beef nachos and it blew my mind. The waitress was not terrible. She forgot a few things but was really sweet. I've had much worse service at many higher priced, less delicious places. When I go for the buffet, the dude who may be the owner always recognizes me and greets me with a huge smile. Love it love it love it!
