My boyfriend and myself ordered recently from here. It was very delicious with fresh ingredients. The size of the thin crust pizza was on the small end, but it was packed with flavor. Love the fact they have free delivery. This was my first time ordering pizza from them but we each got one of our own and both were exceptional. I would defiantly order from here again.

Stayed at the Marriott in Warrenvile and they threw in a pizza from this place with the room. I really didn't expect much, honestly. But the food came quicker than expected and the pizza was really good! The service was awesome and I just wish it was closer to my house or I'd order again!

I don't understand all the crappy review, this place is good priced, great tasting pizza, and the delivery guy was super nice! He was! He called me when he was in his way and when he got here was very friendly I couldn't be happier. And everything tastes great! I'll defiantly order again!

Whyyyyyyyyy?! Why do I continue the torture of dealing with this half ass pizza place??? Why? Because they have free delivery. And I am a cheapskate just like the owner of this franchise. You're order will be wrong 99.79% of the time, the pizza is greasy and unforgiving the next day, and please don't order cheese on the breadsticks because that is wayyyyy to expensive of a cost to ownership! $1? Really?! I've called corporate before and guess I'll have to again but I'm not sure it is even worth my time since I'll never eat at this hack pizza place again. Sent my entire order back tonight. With the guy who came out for a second time with the wrong delivery for the second time. Just handed him the pizza, wings, non cheesy breadsticks and gas money and told sarpinos as a whole to kick dust.

I'm done with sarpinos. They are getting worse every time I order. But this time was the last straw. 2 hour delivery, Pizza was burned, Pizza was cold. This isn't even pizza. Stay away from here.

Nice, friendly, good customer service, open late those are the positives. Slow, had to wait forever for burnt chicken wings. I don't think I'll be back.

I've been ordering from the North Aurora location for quite some time now through my old work, and one night I decided to order from home and the Naperville location is the one that delivers to my apartment. Honestly, you're going to have your ups and down with pizza places like this. One, it's a chain, it's to be expected. Two, their pizza is reasonably priced and they have free delivery, which of course is going to attract people. I've ordered from this location about 3 times now, and I think they're A-Ok. I've had much worse and I've had better. I think what has been a saving grace for these guys is we've had the same delivery driver 2 out of the 3 times. He's awesome and always careful with the pizza. The other delivery driver we had was also super thorough and called while he was on his way to make sure he had the correct address and directions. So, I think that's part of the reason why we've had good experiences; delivery drivers are key. In regards to the pizza, yeah this location isn't as good with the amount of toppings as the North Aurora location. They're a little stingy, which is unfortunate. Otherwise, the pizza is always solid. It's exactly what I expect it to be every time. Fluffy crust, even cheese and toppings, and warm when we get it. I mean, their online system is super convenient, you can get 10% off when you order online which usually takes care of the tax, and it's free delivery. Who can argue with that? Solid three for these guys. I will be ordering again, because hey, it's convenient, decently cheap, and pretty solid quality.

I made an account just so I could leave a review for Sarapinos. We waited over an hour and a half for our pizza. We were pretty near famished by the time it finally got to us. To make matters worse, the pizza was extremely greasy and mediocre at best. Take your business elsewhere.

  • Jorden K.

After a little bit of a run around, we were finally able to get a pizza ordered. Even with it being 5 minutes until close, (yes we were those people), they still took our order and delivered the pizza. They quoted 30-40 minutes and it had arrived in less than 25. This meal totally saved us from our drunk munchies. Thank you so much for understanding the struggle of late night hunger!

  • Hasan S.

Absolutely terrible, pizza came with all of the cheese attached to the top of the box and they were kind enough to send us another one but this one came even worse. See picture. Got our money back. Don't order from here!

ordered at 12:30 am on May 12th and our medium pizza showed up basically cold and hard at 3:00am. I got into my hotel late and had to get up early. If I would have known that The pizza was going to show up the way it did and about 2.5 hours later I never would have ordered. There was nothing gourmet about this pizza.. Gross.

I've been hesitant to try Sarpino's for many reasons. For one, I've heard that it isn't that great. Two, I am constantly receiving menus from them shoved in my door, which is super annoying. Three, the Yelp reviews are quite a mixed bag. But I've grubhubbed every other pizza place, and I was getting tired of the same ol' same ol'. So I browsed their menu, found an enticing 'za, and ordered. The pizza that caught my eye was the Midnight Express, which contains spicy ground beef, salami, pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, jalapeno and red chili peppers. I love spicy and I love meat. So there's no way this could be bad. Their prices seem to be a bit higher than other pizza joints, but they don't charge delivery, so I suppose that's a fair trade off. Aside from pizza, you can also select wings, salads, sandwiches, calzones, and desserts (much like any other pizza joint). I did notice the abundance of sauces to choose from, which definitely sets them apart from the rest. Their online ordering system is impressive, as you can easily select your meats, toppings, your preference of how the pizza is cut (pie or square), cooking instructions, sauce application, dipping sauces, etc. It's almost overwhelming. Sarpino's covers all the bases when it comes to customers creating their perfect pizza. About twenty minutes after ordering, I received a friendly phone call from the driver stating that he was leaving and would be here shortly. I found that to be a very nice gesture. He was at my door five minutes after that. I had my order from start to finished in 20 minutes flat. I was amazed and thrilled, because I hadn't eaten a thing ALL DAY. I couldn't wait to devour this thing. The pizza looked and smelled phenomenal. At first bite, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit greasy (due to the meats) but delicious. Every ingredient was detected, including the spicy jalapenos and red chili peppers. It was enough to make my nose run slightly and burn my lips, so this pizza met my approval, without a doubt. The sauce was good- not at all sweet. I ordered thin crust which would work for a standard one-topping pizza, but for their gourmet or specialty pizzas, I would pick thick crust. All in all, I gotta say I'm surprised by Sarpino's. Sure, there are some better pizza places out there, but I've most certainly had worse. The delivery driver was super friendly, quick, and polite. The food was better than I expected. Three stars for now until I try more items.

I ordered a pizza tonight with fresh basil as one of the toppings. There were one or two shreds of basil, and the rest was salad greens. Honest to God. Either the kitchen doesn't know what "fresh basil" means, Sarpino's is cheap and thinks their customers are too stupid to know the difference, or they were nearly out of basil and thought I wouldn't know the difference. The rest of the ingredients were OK, and the crust was nicely cooked. But an experience like this doesn't make me inclined to give them my business again.

1 star for being open late and for serving food...perhaps the delivery Drivers could come to my door and not expect Me to meet them at the car wth? This was the 3rd time that this happened with this location. The food is OK AT BEST!,but when you are tipsy At 1am its an option..heck,maybe the only option in Naperville..still,I expect my "delivery driver" to deliver to My door...at the risk of a DUI or burning down my house I'll probably order again...

  • Johnny V.

I was a little surprised to see some of the reviews and ratings, and a lot of them are from people ordering delivery, like I do. Luckily, so far my experiences with Sarpino's have all been great, and I've ordered for delivery from them about a half dozen times. So far, they've always delivered in the time-frame given, my order has always been correct--and hot--and every person I've spoken to or who has delivered my order has been polite and professional. The prices are reasonable and it helps that there is no delivery charge. I'm not really much of a pizza guy, so I haven't even tasted their pizza, but I enjoy their calzones, and they have a really good salad with fresh green peppers, onion, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, grape/cherry tomatoes, and bacon that's pretty awesome with their creamy garlic dressing. The calzones are actually really good, and although they may be a little greasy, it's not gonna be dripping off your chin or down your arms, but the bread is what makes it--it's flavorful and just the right amount. I would like to give this place five stars, but feel that I still need to try a few different things--including the pizza--and I also have a wish. I wish that they would use a better quality cheese, or have the option of getting fresh mozzarella, and use more ingredients of the same quality that I consistently find in their salads. The menu says something about a blend of gourmet cheese--and I don't know, maybe it is--but it still has that waxy-thing going on. I realize that it may be more expensive and that there may be no demand for it, but I would be willing to pay more and maybe other people would be too. Anyway, I'm going to continue to order and if I find a good number of great options, I'll definitely update this review.

I ordered 3 pizzas yesterday and one of them was completely wrong - I asked for Spinach with Alfredo sauce and received tomato, raw onions, garlic and an olive oil sauce. When I called, I was told by the manager that she'll give me a partial credit, although I asked to get the pizza I requested, not the one received. She did not want to comply. I don't appreciate paying for a pizza I ended up throwing away because not only was it wrong, it was the worst pizza I've ever tasted (and that says ALOT). With the abundant number of pizza venues in the Chicagoland area, you'd think they'd want to hang on to the loyal customers they have. I guess not. Due to this experience, I will NEVER order from them again and I warn those who are thinking about ordering, only do it if you want to waste money on wrong items, get poor customer service and be totally frustrated. What a disappointment!

Ok, it's 8 months later. And this guy want to start a feud! First he sends me a private message asking me to take down the pics of his car that I posted. Denying any wrong doing still. Now, I let this go a long time ago! But he wants to do this? What is wrong with this guy? You mess with a bull, you're going to get the horns. In his little pm to me he totally contradicts himself! AND I HAVE IT ALL DOCUMENTED! What an idiot. FYI. Yelp took the pics down. A clear violation of freedom of speech! Hey Yelp! You're the one who wanted a public forum. Yeah yeah yeah, I get it, it's your site. Do with it as you will! Just to add, his car is used as a part of his business! And offers delivery. A huge part of his business! Therefore, those pics should not have been taken down IMHO. But my bone to pic with you is no big deal.

Easy to get burnt out on this place. Owner/manager is rude and I never had a good rapport with their drivers, very rude too. Everything tastes the same as the sauce is probably out of a can and they really try to up sell the extra order. It's been a while since I've been in here and it's obvious why. **I received a message here on Yelp and have added a screen shot picture of both the message and the review left by this so called customer, "Nina". Obviously I've never worked for them and I did amend the wording of my original review. I was not going to sit on my hands on this one and the owner obviously doesn't know the first thing about customer care or damage control. Buyer beware...**

So I call to place an order and am put on hold for 12 minutes! Even worse, I start to place my order with coupon #24 which clearly states you get two regular specialty or gourmet pizzas for $7.99. The idiot of a lady taking my order says that the coupon is not working and she doesn't know why. After being placed on hold two more times, I get hung up on! I call back and they hang up on me AGAIN!!! Finally, the last time I call I get to speak to the worthless manager/owner by the name of Greg who tells me that the coupon is a type-O and that they are not going to honor it and that it was ME trying to take advantage of them!!! Like REALLY?!!! This is the worst customer service experience EVER and I will NOT be ordering from them ever again! Sarpinos+Greg, YOU SUCK!!! Go back to school and learn how to provide good customer service MORONS!!! PLEASE do me the favor of calling and trying to use this coupon! I wonder if maybe 1,000 upset customers will make them change their ways... Probably won't change a thing but it's worth the try right?!

This should be your LAST option if you want pizza. I've been ordering Sarpinos for 3 years now and I've had it! They're late, rude, unprofessional and always manage to leave you unhappy.

  • K B.

one star because I have to select something in order to leave a review... I'll start off by saying I was a customer when the Naperville location opened, and have had Sarpinos deliver every time. But now, GREG, THE OWNER OF SARPINOS NAPERVILLE, has changed his boundaries, and I can no longer receive delivery. (I wonder if corporate allows their franchise owner to have control over their boundaries?) Seriously, my home is less than 6 miles from the store!! I left a message with the store manager to have Greg call me, but GREG NEVER CALLED ME BACK! Sadly, I guess Greg is rollin in the dough (so to speak), and doesn't care if he loses customers. 'Go out of your way to serve your customer...They are the reason your business survives!' With all the negative reviews I see here, I don't believe Greg can afford to sacrifice even ONE customer.

Order was perfect and delivered within 20 minutes. Food tasted great and was prepared as asked. No complaints here. Except... we're moving back to TN and we wont have one there.. so...yeah...keep up the improvements guys! Its showing..

  • Brian H.

Waited 3 hours on my order, only to be told that "sorry, they were short a driver and would be unable to make my delivery". Extremely unhappy with them, and will obviously be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same...

  • Fiyaz K.

Late delivery, and the delivery guy brought it smashed up. The two stars are only because the pizza was decent.

    (2)
  • Amy B.

Excellent service! Love to see the owner doing delivery! Getting out to meet the customers shows me they CARE about the customer!

  • Lucas W.

Ok, so I'm going with 4 stars because I would put this place at 3.5 stars. Does the pizza blow you away in terms of taste? No. But it's up with there with pizza hut, and papa johns. Also it's about bang for your buck, and the triple deal they offer is a good value. In my neighborhood if its 11:00 p.m. and we want pizza we callin sarpinos!

  • Joe L.

Ordered a pizza on New Year's Day and it took a long time since the owner/mgr had some no call/no shows. That's fine, he was upfront about the time it would take. Anyways, I wasn't in a huge hurry and he was in a tough spot so I was fine waiting a bit. Anyways, he turned it into a good experience by being friendly, honest and upfront. I'll come back.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The customer service we recieved was beyond amazing, our calzones were cooked to perfection. Our order was running a little late, when we called to check the status they said if it wasn't there in 20 minutes call back they did not try to give any excuses other than they were busy. The delivery guy was very courteous and friendly and apologize for the tardiness. The person that took our order over the phone was exceptionally friendly. I wish that we lived here so that we can order from here more

I've ordered from this location for a few years. Always had good service and good food! Went to order Thursday afternoon (around 3:30) online and online ordering was not available so I called the store - was very disappointed when the young lady who answered told me they could not take orders because their computers were down. Although she was very apologetic, she could not tell me when I would be able to place an order. Are the ovens and other appliances ran by the computer system as well? What happened to writing an order down on a piece of paper and using a calculator to figure out a total???? That's how it was done back in the day (omg I'm getting old). Obviously making money or servicing customers was not a priority that day because I bet it could have been done without the computer. They have the menu with prices and I'm sure they have paper and pen - even if no calculator was available - they could have added the old fashioned way. It's a shame people are so dependent on computers they can't function without one. Very poor decision on the part of management. Being in management myself, my customers would not suffer due to a computer system not functioning. That is an internal issue - not the customers problem. Not sure if I will be back - this was very disappointing.

I was surprised to see the negative posts about Sarpino's...I would consider myself a tough customer to please, and have had good experiences so far. It's important to note that I may have tried their pizza once, years ago, and remember not being overly impressed. However, when I'm in the mood for a calzone, I love the create your own! You can customize everything on it, and the ingredients have always been fresh and plentiful. The "above and beyond" part for me though was the delivery driver. The food is delivered quickly, and he calls to let you know when he is close by, and he's very friendly.

I will NEVER SPEND A DIME IN THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. Who sends out burnt wings to a customer and thinks it ok ? This location!! So I get these wings an immediately get angry. I call the location and was put on hold for 8 min while they "got the manager". After calling from several different phones we finally got the person to stop throwing us right on hold. Spoke with Victoria "the manger" who could not give two sh**ts about the burnt wings, hold time, or lack of customer service any of them couldn't give. Asked about the owner was told his name was Greg and all I could do was leave a message for him and wait for him to call back. Nope I Don't hunt people when I'm giving them my money. Had them come take back these non edible wings that you can't even tell which is which and give me my money back. Then they had the nerve to try to give me just $8. Not happening give me my tax back too. Sorry Greg when you get your cooks some better training on how to cook wings and your manger Victoria some better customer service training. I will never be back and will make sure no one here at this job orders from there! Horrible!!

Yummy pizza & sandwiches! The delivery guy is really nice and delivery is timely! Friendly phone staff! We order at least once a week!

Service has been much better! Keep it up, and business will continue to strive. I had made my point known by them not accepting cash for delivery. Now everything is back to the way it should be. I don't no what changed, but I am very satisfied with the quality now.

  • James H.

Never had a problem with this place. Pizza is always good, sometimes delivery times are awful, and I don't mean a Friday or Saturday night. Ordered during the week and delivery is very sluggish. However they always do provide a coupon or had instances where I have gotten items for free for a time delay. Ordered many times various toppings always good. A little pricier than some places, but personally never had a problem with a coupon or anything. I would say to pick up instead of carry-out if you are hungry and in a time crunch. Would give it a better rating but I feel delivery is important when rating a place like this.

  • Samantha C.

Yummy pizza for great prices. I just love all of the premium flavor options they have. This is also one of the few pizzas I can actually eat all the crust too. Their dough is really good! I love this place for their catering prices as well. Whenever we have pizza parties at work, this place works out the best. You can get so many fun flavors for the low.

  • Gandt H.

My calzone did not have the mushrooms that I paid extra for, the 2 sodas I ordered were not cold and the BBQ wings were pretty burnt. I had to peel off most of the skin because of the burnt flavor. First time I've ordered from them, but probably won't order from them again. The only plus was that they delivered to my hotel within an hour.

    (1)
  • Timothy M.

The pizza is ok. Nothing to ride home about. The best part is the convience of it. Open until 2 am during the week and 4 am in the weekends. Nowhere else is open that late and you get free delivery. I haven't tried the sandwiches or anything else so will need to try that next time.

    (3)
  • Nadia K.

Good pizza and calzones! I live down the street from this location and order delivery and pickup frequently because they are one of the only restaurants open late in the area. Also they deliver pretty quickly to me. They have a large variety of pizzas. I always like to try new ones. The Greek pizza and the Mexican pizza are my favorites. I also like to create my own calzone. They give out a lot of coupons and the prices are very good.

  • Tab K.

Very rude manager he sold me an 8" pizza but charged me 10" pizza. He said his name is bog-dad, he said he is the manager here. He would not fix our order. He was disrespectful and was yelling at us. I would like to complain about it and let people know this place is not worth it to take time and eat. He did at the end apologize and fix the order. But it was a lot of complaining and debating with him. The food was good as usual but didn't like dealing with the management, the front desk girl had told us to eat the personal size as we waited for the regular size but then went back on her word and did not defend the customer. The manager scolded her and said she did not approve it with him. Lots of miscommunication and I think this place needs to have the owner revamp their customer service. Talk about a bad Saturday night.

  • Bonna M.

Ok, I have to update my review. We order Sarpinos way too much to not give them 4 stars. I have to say that my daughter and I do not like their regular (marinara sauce) pizzas but we really love some of the others. We still get the thin nacho pizza pretty much every time but we've also gotten their pizza that is like a Caesar salad too...I forget what it's called. Last time we ordered the alfredo pizza and really enjoyed it. Their online system is still awesome and we always use the coupons on their site which makes it pretty reasonable. My son ALWAYS gets the chicken tenders which are actually pretty darn good and we have ordered their hot wings before and enjoyed them. So...as much as I think Sarpinos isn't the best pizza around we do really like it and are happy with their ordering system and delivery.

I order from Sarpino's all the time because I really like their bbq wings. I love it that they are always open even on holidays and until the wee hours of the morning while everybody else shuts down at a wimpy 10:00. The owner has always been nice & seems to care about any problems that arise. They do have a problem with consistency, however. Things can vary wildly from one order to the next. Sandwiches are pretty light on ingredients & ditto on flavor. And I have never ordered a pizza that contained all the ingredients I asked for. NEVER. I complained to the owner once about this and he sent me out a free replacement. You guessed it! It arrived missing ingredients! They're sort of like a friend...always there for you, but perhaps slightly flawed. Good in a pinch for late night munchies. (They just delivered an order to me & I see I received cans of soda instead of the 20oz bottles I ordered). But, hey, it's 1am, so I'm lucky to be able to get anything!

  • Neil M.

We just ordered from here and we've eaten from this place several times and have had no problems, but this time was a nightmare. They delivered our order completely wrong much later than it was supposed to be here (so it was also cold), we had to direct the delivery driver here to our house because he couldn't speak English, and when we called to try to get our order corrected, the employee tried to make it sound like it was our fault and also said it would be another hour and a half. It's absolutely absurd how awful this has been and now we'll be lucky if the charges will get reversed for this. If you're looking for pizza, steer clear of this establishment. You'd be better off getting Pizza Hut.

  • Rebecca B.

My family has been ordering from Sarpinos for years; we enjoy their flavors. Several times, the pizza has been delivered later than promised, and once, it was delivered free of charge due to it's delivery delay. Yesterday it came 2 hours late, after being promised 45 minutes after my order was placed. I called an hour in to waiting and complained, and was assured that they were "just busy" and that the driver had already left. An hour and a half later, I still had no pizza. When I called the second time, I was put on hold by the girl who took my order, and then again by another girl, only to talk to a manager who told me it was my error and that I said I would come to the facility to pick it up. Upon pointing out to him that I had already talked to the original order-taker and she'd assured me about the delivery, he claimed to give me 20% off, and that the pizza was on it's way. It finally arrived at the 2 hour mark, cold and soggy. I apologized to the delivery person for not tipping him and told him to discuss it with his manager. I paid the full price. Unfortunately, my family likes their pizza - I fear we'll order from them again, and be faced with the same situation. It's really unfortunate.

Yikes...this pizza really sucks. I just moved to the area and since there aren't many pizza options close to my new home I was really counting on Sarpinos to be good. Sadly it is really bad pizza. It's like some weird hybrid between a buttery Chicago deep dish and a more floppy style pizza, like papa johns and Pizza Hut. Sarpinos just isn't good, not to mention it's expensive to boot. When I want pizza I'm either going to have to shlep it to Cassanos or just go to the dominoes on brookdale. Dominoes isn't the best pizza but it's still hands down better than Sarpinos, and half the price.

I give this Sarpino's two stars for the food. I give it zero stars for the service. I have ordered from here a few times, and each time I ordered delivery. I cannot understand why on a slow weeknight (Tues-Thurs) it would take them an hour to bring two salads to my home. Nothing even needed to be cooked. On my last order, I requested that they call me if they estimated that they might be running an hour behind schedule. At 1 hour and 10 minutes after placing the order, the manager called to let us know that the driver is late and that he's "sorry." Sorry doesn't cut it this time. He should have called at the 45 minute mark to let us know. Our order finally arrived about 90 minutes after the initial order. We will not be ordering from this location again.

I am new to the area so I'm still trying out new places, I received a coupon for Sarpino's and figured to try it out because I was getting sick of Dominos all the time, We ordered the wings and large pie, I'm sorry to say though I was not impressed at all, The pizza was chewy and tasted old and the wings had no flavor. It was the first and last of this place, I think I will stick with Dominos.

Sarpino's really surprised both my fiance and myself. We probably would have never ordered from here, but after arriving at our hotel in Naperville around 2 AM we asked the desk clerk what places were open and he only knew of Sarpino's and gave us a flyer. We ordered a few things, because we were really hungry after a long flight. The pizza was actually very good. So were the wings and the bread we ordered. It was all very unique and so good that we actually ended up ordering from here again on another night on our trip. If I remember correctly they even had free delivery! How cool is that? Sarpino's has really good food for being open this late at night. Who knew?

This was a pleasant surprise. After a night of Slammin beers with friends we needed a late night meal. A friend of mine order from this place at 130am on a Thursday and they still delivered. The pizzas promptly arrived and I was very surprised by the quality and appearance. I've had some late night pizzas before and they were just complete shit. This place is not one. The pizza was great for what it is, give it a try late night/early morning. U won't be disappointed.

OMG, sooooo good! As much as I wanted to dock them a star for littering our apartment community with their flyers stuck in doors, I can't. Everything I've had from there is awesome...especially obsessed the the Build Your Own calzone. Word to the wise: Don't order the large calzone unless you're HUNGRY. The regular is more than enough for any normal appetite. Great pizza, too. Worth it being a little more expensive than the average place. AND they give a 15% discount if it's ordered to your place of business. My office gets it at least once a week. Delish! ** Oop, had to dock them a star since I discovered JET'S**

I order from Sarpinos about 3 times a month either for myself or when I have people over. The sandwiches and other items are pretty good, but the pizza is never good. Either the cheese is burnt or the crust is soft and super chewy. My last two experiences will probably be my last. A couple of weeks ago I had a buddy over and we ordered a simple large pizza that took an hour and twenty minutes to arrive with no contact from the store about any issue with delivery. I had to call them to find out what was going on. The cheese was burnt and the crust was chewy. Last week I placed an order and it took them 45 minutes to call me and say it was going to be delayed, but wouldn't tell me why. This was on a Tuesday night. An hour later I called them around 130am to ask what was going on because I knew they closed at 2. The guy said they hadn't started making it yet because they were busy. He offered to cancel the order and refund my card right away. It was clear they couldn't be bothered with my order. I told him I wanted my food made and delivered and 45 minutes later I finally got my order. The food was okay, but took 2 1/2 hours to get to me. Neither time did they try and make up for their terrible service. I got an apology from the delivery guy this last time, but the part I noticed is that in two dozen orders over the past several months I have never seen the same driver twice. Out of all those orders only two of them have found my place without having to call even though I put specific instructions on the order. They have since admitted to not reading them. I have spent many years in retail management and quality customer service can trump a product/service problems any day. It is clear they need new management because they clearly are not concerned with keeping customers. I probably won't order from them again unless it's the only option.

As far as cheap pizza goes it's not bad but the service and delivery times have been horrible for the last couple of months. New management? New owners? No idea. They sent us someone else's order which took over an hour to get, they called us because they caught their mistake and offered us a credit. They told us we'd have to call to use the credit instead of ordering online then wanted to charge us close to double for our order to use the credit because their 'in store' prices were different online. What was the point in the credit? After a back and forth we finally got the pricing we should have but horrible customer service. We've been ordering from them for years...it might be back to the drawing board to find a new pizza delivery place...

The spinach special pizza is fantastic. It was about $15 with tax for the regular 10" size pizza, and worth every penny for this gourmet delight. The toppings are: fresh spinach, blends of Parmesan, Sarpino's gourmet cheese blend, cheddar and feta cheeses, garlic butter, fresh garlic, eggs, leeks, green onions, herbs and spices. Yum, I cannot wait to have it again.

I can say without a doubt that I have never been treated worse by anyone in customer service . Their pizza is average at best and the employees are beyond rude. I will never ever spend another dollar there or recommend to anyone

Simply put, not that good of pizza delivered by criminals, employed by incompetence. Congratulations, I joined Yelp to write a review on how bad this place is. After being a loyal customer for two years (mostly out of not having any other options for pizza delivery past 1 am besides this place), the final straw was a delivery driver crashing into my mailbox and fleeing the scene without telling me or my neighbors. Here's a tip for the driver next time you commit a hit and run, don't park your car that left gray paint on my wooden post right in front of the restaurant the next night. I may not be able to recover any of the cost of the repairs, but at least you get to drive your Acura with a messed up bumper or have to shell out a deductible to get it fixed, enjoy working for another half year to save up that amount. As for the owner, Greg, who was "angry" that his driver could do this and not say anything, but apparently not angry enough to look into it or call me back, enjoy your lost business and negative review, you sure earned it. Your willful ignorance and dismissive demeanor regarding this matter has been astounding. You might have been able to salvage your reputation with me as a customer by showing a modicum of professionalism or even returning a phone call. I'm still here a month later waiting for a direct response from you Greg, i'm not holding my breath though. I guess the next step is to start pestering corporate. Update: After posting this review, the owner's wife and apparent other co-owner took such offense to it that she called me up at 10 am this past sunday. At first I was excited to see them finally taking responsibility to their driver's actions but quickly realized that this contact was made to try and shame me for publishing the truth. Some gems from this contentious conversation include: 1. claiming that car bumpers do not have paint on them in order for it to rub off on my mailbox post, 2. Taking issue with me referring to a hit and run being a moving violation, and 3. Her making a strong implication that all the negative yelp reviews are a result of people whose opinions aren't worth her time and coming from the voices of cowards. Never have I rolled my eyes so much in a ten minute period. Trying to outline a logical argument with her was akin to me trying to teach my dog algebra. These people are obviously in way over their heads on how to run an efficient customer driven business, and it will not surprise me when this location closes after they are done alienating their customer base. The irony of her claim that yelp reviews are meaningless but my yelp review prompting her to contact me is apparently lost on her. In all seriousness, I just think both the owner and his wife are just not that bright of people. It makes me wonder how they even got the money to start up this franchise in the first place outside of a dead relative. I thought the biggest insult was using the apparent death of one of their managers almost 2 weeks after i initially contacted them (as referenced by another yelper as well) as being the reason they never contacted me. The fact that the owner's wife referenced this as "people having died for this business" to give legitimacy to her argument very disturbing. I know that if I was a manager at sarpino's, I'd like to be remembered for all my contributions to two swarmy owners using my passing to lend credence to their business acumen. (A business who's quick google search shows a court case complaint concerning the Fair Labor Standards act)

After hearing my coworkers rave about the pizza here, I had to give it a shot. It didn't help that I have been swamped by their menus at my apartment complex either. I had heard if you place an order online it's 10% off the order. So when the mood hit for some pizza, this was the logical place to go. By going online, you can browse the specials. I was able to score a large 2 topping pizza, one pound of wings and an order of breadsticks for $18. Plus 10% off which just covered the tax (Damn you Illinois). Not bad considering Pizza Hut is around $30 for the same. I decided on delivery and within 20 minutes the order was at my door. I have to say the wings here are phenomenal. Not overcooked but just right. I ordered the mix of hot and BBQ. Both flavors were delicious and not overpowering or drenched in the sauce. This may have been the perfect chicken wing. Or at least the best I've ever ordered from a pizza place. Sarpino's offers a pretty solid pizza. There are better choices out here, but for the price it was good. The sauce tasted great, the crust was thicker than I prefer it and the mushrooms held up and didn't turn out burned. The one thing that was weird concerned the Italian sausage. Instead of globs of sausage balls, they have little sliced sausage on the pizza. It kinda left the pizza not having that "meaty" flavor. The breadsticks were forgettable. I see why they're thrown in as a freebie. They bake them like a pizza and cut them into strips. It left the sticks a little too chewy. One plus I will add is the dipping sauces included on everything. This is good because lately I decided pizza didn't have enough calories so I need my ranch dipping sauce to put it over the top. Hey when you splurge, you might as well go all out. Certainly not the best or the worst, but Sarpino's offers a good pizza for the price. Plus on the weekends, they're open until 4 in the morning. What's not to love about that?

Been burnt by this place so many times, messy food like the pizza was dropped, items ordered but missing when order delivered. So I gave them a last chance tonight. Same problem. Ordered super taco pizza with thin crust and jalapeño slices on the side, when order was delivered it looked like someone dropped the box on its side and surprise surprise no jalapeño slices. Call and speak to manager he can't even see the order. He's reading back to me an old order from June 2012 (yeah that's how long it's been) and he reorders that order. So my 2nd order is completely wrong...a super taco pizza with thick crust, extra cheese and sour cream and no tomato...and STILL no jalapeño slices, on the flip side it didn't look like it was dropped....I call and request a refund, I'm just fed up now. The guy is nice about it and after a few minutes he's like ok you're all set. I hang up but I'm sitting here wondering....how am I "all set" if I paid cash??? The food here is good when it's done right, don't get me wrong and it's Saturday night I understand you're swamped with orders but you need to make sure your customers are getting what they paid for. How do you mess up an electronic order??? It's all listed out right there clear as day! Needless to say they've lost my business. Won't ever give them another try and tomorrow if the card I used to order back in June 2012 hasn't been refunded I'll have to call AGAIN and I really won't be happy....

Been in our place for the better part of a year now, and finally decided it was time to try out the closest pizza place. I have to admit, I was most impressed by the online ordering system. I like that they sent an email when the pizza left for delivery. Made it easy to prepare by putting the dog away so he didn't go batsh*t crazy when the doorbell rang. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni, and it was pretty good. The dough was fluffy, but not doughy, the sausage was really good (looked like actual sliced pieces of sausage, rather than sausage balls like you get at most places), and the cheese was nicely melted and slightly crisp. The breadsticks were a little dry and lifeless however. Delivery was quick, the food arrived hot, and the price was reasonable. I'd order from them again, but not exclusively.

So they left a coupon on our front door, we tried it out, we got the wrong pizza, and then had to wait for a new one to be delivered, once we got it, the pizza was not that great, and we ordered a large, it was more like a medium. On top of it the manager wasn't even apologetic for sending the wrong pizza.

I have ordered from this location for years. Suddenly, the last time I ordered, they informed me that they would no longer be delivering to West Chicago. I have a feeling that they just looked at the city without realizing that I am actually closer than most of their Naperville clients. So after a brief argument, they agreed to send me my order. I should've just saved my money. The pizza arrived and looked fine. Halfway through eating it, I discovered a LONG LIGHT BROWN HAIR in the cheese. As I stated before, I have ordered from this location hundreds of times, and never had this happen. Then after an argument, this happens. Very fishy. The service has always been horrible anyway, but this was inexcusable. Would give it zero stars if I could.

the pizza taste old people are rude and they act like they are doing you a favor buy answering the phone. i do not judge places on one time i have eaten here 3 times and each time has been worse. and to top it off last time i ordered a pizza they left me a coupon # 24 that clearly states $7.99 for two regular pizzas or 3 dollars more for medium, 7 dollars more for large 9 dollars more for a xl. i thought wow great deal these people want return customers and what the heck i will try them one more time. when i called up they said there was a miss print and it was suppose to say 17.99 for two regular( sounds like a bait and switch to me) needless to say she wouldnt honor the coupon they made and delivered to my house and proceded to talk like i was trying to take advantage of them ok. so instead of getting a loyal repeat customer you are getting some one who cant stand your company and refuses to eat at you establishment

I love pizza, so I am a pretty touch critic when it comes to reviewing it. I like going here though. Being from Chicago, where there is always a place to go to for good pizza, Sarpino's is pretty good. We usually only get the thin sausage, but their other pizzas look good too. I like their pizza because, it has a unique (in a good way) flavor. The sauce is VERY good, free delivery, they have quality ingredients, the crust is buttery and crispy...so good! Even though my husband prefers it very hot and eats his most the day we get it, to me, the pizza is still pretty good the next day. I would recommend this pizzeria to anyone.

and this is a generous 2 stars. I have to preface that my girl and I have been living in NYC for the last 8 years for me, over 13 for her. Needless to say we've had the best of the best....but also realize that finding the corner pizza joint that does Neapolitan-style pizza anywhere around the Midwest might be a stretch. So back to the puffier, cheesier pizzas we both grew up with! That being said, there just wasn't anything that impressed us about our two pizzas from Sarpinos. With a thinner crust, this pizza could have easily been something we bought frozen in the supermarket, ala Red Baron or Tombstone. And that would have been cheaper. First off, 14" isn't a "large". That is hardly constitutes a medium, but that's semantics. We had a few toppings on 2 pizzas (for a whopping $31...and that was with a 50% discount on the second pizza....jeez), one was totally missing and the other was pretty much dumped onto one piece. Missing was...fresh basil. Uh...this is a pizza joint, right? How is it that one of the base ingredients can be easily forgotten? - sauce was too sweet. points to being canned or a can base to balance out over acidic tomatoes. - cheese was thick and not-pleasant "chewy". needs to be fresh and less...which would go further - our garlic, spinach and mushroom pizza was totally bland. I am by no way a salter (kinda sneer at salters) but this pizza had me reaching for the kosher salt. - tomatoes were crunch and white-pink - we picked the pizza up a few minutes after getting our email notice. the pizza was slightly warm but not "piping hot". We could understand some of these problems...if there was a line or the place was hopping, but when we pulled up there wasn't any activity. Really don't understand what others saw but we sure as shootin' didn't have any form of magical experience. back to the great Midwest pizza search....

I have been ordering from Sarpino's strictly for delivery over the past 2 years and today, was the first time that I ever have gone inside this location. I must say, I was IMPRESSED! The staff was super friendly, the place was SPOTLESS and also, I was greatly impressed with finding out that they MAKE THEIR CRUST FROM SCRATCH! I had no idea... I was expecting something like a Pizza Hut crust that's already made but these folks use ALL FRESH INGREDIENTS! :o) I will definitely be going back again for carryout!

I'm generally not a fan of chain or franchise pizza, but this pizza is FANTASTIC. Why? 1. Amazing pizza concoctions I never thought would be good - but I find myself craving all the time: Buffalo Blue - my current addiction: (you can't taste the bleu cheese at all), spicy buffalo sauce instead of regular pizza sauce, sliced chunks of chicken breast, onions, cheddar, etc. Spinach Special: spinach, scrambled eggs, garlic, garlic butter instead of regular pizza sauce, and lots of different cheeses. Mexicana: ground beef, onions, chili peppers, jalapenos, peppers, diced tomatoes, and lots of cheese. Cheese Bonanza: puts Pizza Hut's cheese lover's to shame. Parmesan, Ricotta, Feta, and a secret gourmet cheese mix. Dip it in the Jalapeno Ranch for an extra kick. *Chipotle Ranch and Jalapeno Ranch are both dipping sauce options. 2. FREE DELIVERY!!! For reals. And no minimum to deliver, either. 3. 10% Off if you order online. Seriously! 4. They've got great deals under the "store specials" section. My favourite is the 'Sarpino's Sampler': 2 10" gourmet or specialty pizzas for $16.99. I get that and a 2 liter of Diet Coke, and I've got lunch at work for 2-3 days! 5. The delivery guys are always nice, friendly, and quick. (Others have complained, but I order at least once a week, and have never had a problem). - only draw back is the limited availability of sides. but with pizza this good, i've never had enough room for sides anyway!

When they first opened, they were great - the pizza was always good. Then something changed about a year or so ago. The pizzas became overcooked (like where the top is nearly black), with little sauce. Even if you ask them to put more sauce on it and not overcook it, they don't follow those directions. But it's really hit and miss...one time the pizza is good...the next week, the pizza is terrible. I want to call them and ask them who's making the pizza just because I think it's really just the difference of the pizza maker...I'm just surprised at how inconsistent it is. Really nice delivery folks - never had a problem - except for once when our pizza didn't arrive for 2 hours. They comp'd the next pizza, though, so that was nice.

As Jonathan B. pointed out, the free delivery service is spotty. But Sarpino's pizza is so damn good, I make an effort to carryout instead every time. I wish I could either take advantage of the free delivery or get a discount for picking it up every time. We've only ordered the thin sausage, but one day we'll try something new. The menu is large, and Yelpers seem to like other items. Reasons the pizza is phenomenal: -Uniqueness. Never tasted a pizza like it. -The sauce is borderline perfect, and they even include an extra marinara dip with your pizza. -Spotty delivery is free. Although it should be noted the pizza tastes soooooooo much better when hot as hell. -Quality ingredients, including the sausage. -The thin crust is so buttery with the right amount of crispness. if you're looking for paper-thin crust, look elsewhere. -Franchised, meaning there are tons of other locations where you are supposed to receive the same, standardized product. i can't speak for other locations, but theoretically every other Sarpino's should be as good as this one! -Discounts. Order more than one for Buy One, Get One 50% off. Or stop in to order from their carry-out menu, which has about 10 money-saving coupons for almost anything on the menu. This pizza will come out cheaper than most other quality competitors. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (for pickup and a swift drive home) 4.25/5 (minus 0.75 star for spotty, but free, delivery service)

We have ordered from Sarpino's twice and had two wildly divergent experiences. The first time, the pizza was delivered within a reasonable amount of time and was hot and tasty. The second delivery took 1 hour 45 minutes to get there. The pizza was warm at best, but the soda was surprisingly cold. Go figure. :-) I had to call several times to check on the order, starting an hour after the order was placed. Eventually they did offer to refund the purchase, without my requesting this. However, the overall experience was less than satisfactory and it will be a while before we order from here again.

Wow - I'm really surprised this place has over 3 stars, let alone 4 1/2. Little Caesar's offers the same pizza for $5, but this place charges $10. Looks the same and tastes the same. We go to Adamo's.

I had a late night craving for a pepperoni pizza around 10:30p on a Friday night and was glad they were still open. I decided to pick up so I can't comment on delivery times. The pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. Perfect thin slices of pepperoni with a little crisp. Not too heavy on the cheese and tasty sauce. I'd say all the ingredients were proportional. The crust was not thin and had a nice chewy consistency. Ingredients went nearly to the edge of the pizza (no skimping). Came with some red sauce and a pepper. Will likely order from them again. The medium was a great snack/meal for 2. At around $8.50, way better than any frozen thing at the grocery (even if it's rising crust)

pizza is tasty, right. And unique, thats right too. I see where pizza purists may feel cheated on sauce and crust and size and price. Is it overpriced? yes. Will I order it again ? Yes but not every week. Why ? hard to tell but sometimes a human been have an urge for the tasty unique things.

Contradicting some NY'rs looking for 'it'...this pizza is the real deal. Great choices, right mix of sauce/cheese/crust/topping. Had garlic and ricotta cheese pizzas delivered...piping hot, and really tasty..highly recommended..a bit pricy, but in this world you do get what you pay for...hey, go to Domino's and get a large (piece of saucy cardboard) 'pizza' for $5.99 if that's an issue.

I never had a worse experience.. The pizza was going to take an hour on a fri. No problem I understand that they were busy. 2 hours later and 3 calls. it finally was delivered . I asked for a manager and none to be found. Call corp. and left a message but never got back to me. What type of business are they running

Good but a little pricey for the amount of food. I always pickup from here, so don't know about the delivery side of it. The pizza itself has its share of quality toppings. They are open very long hours. Give it a shot.

What can I say about Sarpino's Pizza? One word. Disgusting. If you like pizza that has a a quarter inch of grease sitting on it looking at you smugly when you open the box this is for you. If you like pasta (which I mistakingly tried on another occaision to give this place a shot) that looks like it's sitting in a pool of water only to find out it's more nasty grease, this place is for you. If you like service that is inconsistent, rarely on-time and light-years below your expectations this place is for you. This is by far the most nasty pizza I've ever tried, but if your one of those folks who adheres to the addage "if it doesn't get all over the place it doesn't belong in your face" this place my friends is for you.

if you like pizza with a kick, get the mexicana, my absolute favorite pizza here when i want something spicy. i've been to other sarpinos around the country, but this is the best sarpinos, it's loaded with toppings compared to the other ones. they are making the pizza right here! They deliver late, and the ordering system online is amazing.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
