The service and hookah suck!!! Went here last Saturday with a group of friends. I gave them 2 stars b/c we were seated promptly and the hookah didn't take long to come out.... After fumbling with the coals for a few min b/c of how harsh it tasted, we couldn't find the girl or any staff member behind the register that could help us out!! And for a while actually!! Wish they would of at least came around to see if everything tasted ok after giving the hookah to us!! Ugh hate service like this. Not coming here again. Ever

After finding out we are from out of town, we were given a more expensive price for the hookah. When we came to pay, the employee asked the manager to ring us up and we were given a better price. As we were walking out the door, the guy that gave us the first price came and told us that we were charged wrong. He made us pay even more and wasn't going to give us our change back. We had to ask for it! Nice atmosphere but a rip off! Not one employee came to ask if everything is ok. Never going back there!

This place is hidden back behind the Gemato's which is delicious by the way and the Ztech. If your looking for hookah or just some coffee talk this is a good place to be. They are open late which is convenient for night owls like me.

Amazing location and the staff are amazing, the variety of flavors has me coming back all the time and the atmosphere is great! I look forward to hockey season there where they play the games on more than one tv, the music is great too, and the prices

Mr Shesha's is the ish. period. Mainly because of the calm environment and atmosphere. The place has a warm, cozy feeling. Nothing too flashy. Its a good place to spend 2+ hours just chillaxing with some friends. The menu has a great variety of flavors including some House Mixes, which I recommend trying once-in-a-while. To add on, Shesha's is a coffee house, so there are herbal tea blends, coffee, pie, etc available till a certain time at night. Lastly the place has is always busy and there are often interesting people there to meet. The owners are cool and will hook you up if you are a frequent visitor and they recognize you. So its a good place to chill and smoke hookah. Its kind of located in an odd corner, and the road has a lot of potholes, but I recommend you try the place if you're tired of Dhuwan and Exhale. Make sure to bring at least $10

Review Amendment: This place just dropped to 1 star. When I went in last the owner didn't ask me what size hoohah I wanted and automatically gave me the more expensive one. When I went in today, the person asked me what size. Bottom line, the owner tried to play me and this pisses me off to no end. So, Mr. Ripoff gets one star for crappy values and this will be the last time I come here. Let's start with the fun and tasty....the hookahs are great. Many different blends and kinds to choose from so you'll be happy. And if you're a smoker like I am (I swear I'm gonna quit one of these days!) it's kinda nice to be able to smoke somewhere other than outside! The hookahs themselves are really good quality. They pull well, the flavor is fresh each time you smoke and even the smaller "mini's" last a single person for a good long while. The food offerings are minimal but they're pretty good. The ambiance and feel of the place is pretty cool. It's a mix of lounge type areas along with standard deuce tables so people can sit and study, read, journal or pick their noses while I'm watching one of the four TVs (a few too many in my opinion but whatever). The music is pretty good and is often a mix of international tracks and some more poppy/club type music. Not too bad. My only complaint is when they don't have music and they have the damn TV turned up too loud. If I wanted to watch TV and smoke hookah...I'd stay at home! And this leads me to some of my complaints. The staff experience has been mixed but I think this may be the result of the leadership/owner. He's a nice guy when you chat with him but he can be a bit controlling, seems a little too focused on money rather than service and has kind of an intense vibe about him. For example, I walked in and was getting settled at a table and he ordered me to the counter....uh, really? Again, a nice guy but this didn't fly so well and I'm not so sure other people would be as forgiving. The rest of the staff does a really good job getting what you need and while they aren't like the owner, they seem like they're just kinda there. Don't get me wrong, I don't need people to jump up and down when I walk in but a laid back and somewhat positive lounge kinda vibe would be nice. After three visits...this has been my experience each time...and I feel slightly depressed when I leave...ugh. It was only on my last and final visit that I was served by someone who actually seemed to be happy. It was a joy to chat with her and I wish all the staff well.

Unnecessarily expensive. Female staff treats male guests with smiles & female guests with shrugs. Did not see any male staff when I was there with 2 of my girlfriends, so can't say how they'd behave. Not worth visiting.

I can always have a good time at this place. Even if my day is complete crap. Even though, every once in a while, a group of snobs will come in and demand eveything their way and then piss and moan when they dont get it, even though that happens quite a bit, it is FUN to look at the employees and send them a smile to let them know it'll be ok. Almost as if to say: "Hey Bud!" or "Hey Sweetie, dont let them get you down. Even thou the world is filled with pricks like that...you do have people like me that appreciate you for who you are and appreicate this place for what it is!" Eveyone crying over the prices, or the location, or the food, aggrivates many. Me especially. Especially when I have to hear, "well, I dont smoke. I just want to sit with my friends." or "I didnt know this place was back here. you guys should relocate." or "$10 a person. GEEZ!" In all honesty...if you cant afford 10 amongst a group of friends, which goes toward hookah, food, tobacco, or drinks...then keep your broke ass at home! Not to be mean but the people that love that place and WANT to be there and can AFFORD to be there and have no problem grasping the location and concept of the place...would love to have the space that you are wasting. Long Live Mr. Shesha's

I have tried almost every hookah lounge in the state of IL but in all honesty this is the one that I keep coming back to, their coffee is exclusively spiced and roasted for them, their hookahs are made fantastic, the owner and most of the staff that I have met are friendly and there to help out. Yes they have rules on what you can and can't do, but I think thats what makes the plcae as great as it is...

This place is nice, but expensive. Atmosphere: Very relaxed, and kind of crowded, but there is a good amount of seating, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes, if even. They play music and have TV's too. Service: Super kind, and involved staff. The owner is often present and is a very kind, interested man. It's obvious that he is passionate about his business which is great. Hookah/Shesha: They have small and large sized hookahs, and they use Al Fakhar, Starbuzz or house blends shesha. All of pretty good quality, starbuzz is my personal favorite. Food: Whatever you do- GET THE HUMMUS! They make it home made, and it is a huge portion for $5.99, and is served with warm pita. Soooo good! Cost: It is a $10 minimum per person, and the hookahs range from $15-$20, and refills are half price. I spent $20 when I went with a friend for a large hookah, refill, hummus and tip. Usually I spent like $15 when I go to Hookah bars at school and get more hookah, and alcohol (but the laws are different here than in Indiana so I understand, no big deal). Tips: I would encourage the business owner to have some specials or happy hours, where people can get reduced prices to smoke, like from 5-7 half off or something, when they aren't as busy. It would increase business and make the customers feel like they are getting a good deal.

4 stars just cause the location really sucks (suburbia strip mall...ugh). Other than that, I'm a huge fan! Great little hookah joint with an African-Arab feel. The owners (who are SO friendly and wonderful) are Egyptian. So naturally, the ownership lends itself to a warm and inviting environment with nothing but proper Arab hospitality. African Serengeti decor adorns the walls, for a neat (although a little unexpected) twist. This is a ideal place to come with some friends and just relax. Of course part of the allure of a place like this is to just chill out for a few hours...you will never feel rushed to leave, or pressured to buy anything more than you want; that being said, the employees are generous and insightful with their suggestions about what to try. My advice is to grab one of the smaller couch areas towards the back, order up a hookah, coffees and desserts, and pull one of the games they have stocked (Scrabble!). The brownies are delish, the coffee creations are heavenly, and the smoothies are yummmmmy. Smoothie flavors include combinations of fruits like banana, kiwi, mango, papaya, as well as coconut. Two great flavors are The Eye of the Tiger and Victoria Falls. I'm by no means a pro at hookah smoking. In fact, I go for the experience and surroundings, not for the actual smoke. So, I might not be the best person to attest to the quality of the tobacco. But there is a huge variety of flavors to choose from, and my more hookah-experienced friends have always enjoyed whatever we've ordered.

I've been in a few hookah bars till I visited this on. Very cozy, clean and the hookah is very smooth. I like the staff , very friendly and nice. I think I found my new spot.

Great place, it was one of my first hookah lounges to go to before it started getting crowded due to it's limited space. But I never had a problem with it. The owner is super nice and welcoming!!! I know there is a lot more competetion between hookah lounges now that it's a growing business....although I think they should all be visited before choosing your hang out place. Def recommend if your in that area! :-)

I have been coming here for a few years and its the best hookah place in town! I even bring my friends from the city and they love it much better than any hookah place they have ever been to. It's a great place to do school work, dates, and just to hang out with friends. The staff is phenomenal and very friendly.

Smelly place even for a hookah place. I did not come here to smoke but to have coffee and an desert. The coffee arrived promptly along with a slice of cheesecake. The coffee was fairly standard something I could of made at home. The cheesecake looked like it was from the frozen section from Jewel. Prices not cheap and when you say you don't want to smoke they look at you funny. Yeah I just want coffee ok I don't want your hookah and your $9 tobacco. The biggest problem with the place was that people were smoking cigarettes inside including all the employees. That I don't understand, you have flavored tobacco and hookahs why go there and smoke cigarettes. This coffee house simply makes no sense.

Well, I never like to smoke, I can't stand for the smoky smell in my whole life. And its a hookah African Arab coffee house, I went there for coffee, coffee is OK, not cheap, I had a piece of cheesecake too, really not impressed me at all. Atmosphere looks nice but kind of dirty, they better fix their ceiling since it's looked very bad. This place just for hookah, so I can't complain that much, one thing was suck that I saw couple people smoke cigarette, I don't mind they smoke hookah in the coffee house, just cigarette smell very bad. turn me off. It's located in a dead strip mall, it's really a hidden place. It's

For those who are into hookah and just laying back, this is a great place. Great smoothies and teas, great hookah selection, great food. They play relaxing background music which adds to the ambient atmosphere. If you are unsure what flavor hookah to try, ask and they are more than willing to give great recommendations. Cheers.

I've been going to Mr. Shesha's for about 9 years, since they opened. Compared to the other hookah bars in the area, it's much cleaner and the atmosphere is more welcoming in my opinion. I think I like it so much because you can come in a read a book by yourself or hang out with a group of people and it's just very relaxing. They have a huge selection of tobacco flavors and custom flavors made by the staff. Everyone is always really friendly which is cool because it's like a big hookah family when you go there. I really wish they still had a kitchen because they used to have the BEST BREAD EVER. Just saying. But they still have coffee drinks and some food. The humus is really good...I always ask for less oil on top though. I give it a 5 star based on how nice everyone is and how relaxed the atmosphere is.

I went to this spot last night for the first time and was some what impressed. The atmosphere is great and it doesn't get TOO loud, which sometimes can ruin the experience, especially if you're trying to chat with your friends. I did think the $10 minimum per person was a little pricey though. My friend and I got the "Sex with a Smurf" flavor and it was delish. The owner was nice enough to bring the container to me before I ordered so I could determine whether or not I wanted it. My friend and I spent about 2 hours there and the service was pretty great in terms of bringing new coal, checking up, etc. The only issue for me was the time it took to get our hookah delivered to our table (about 15 min) and the place was about half full (BTW- If you're a chick hoping to meet some cute guys, this place doesn't supply them). Also, the owner was sweet enough to bring my friend and I an amazing fresh mango & strawberry smoothie for free. Overall, check this place out if you're looking for a cool spot to hang out at that is well lit and keeps doors open to help filter the smoke out for a clean air feel.

I've been coming here since Ehab first opened 5+ years ago. Naturally this might bias my review, but I have been to other hookah places both in downtown Chicago and also in the suburbs and Mr. Shesha's is my favorite. This place has a great atmosphere and really, that's what it's all about when you come to have a smoke. The laws in Illinois changed that disallowed establishments like these from serving food, but I still come here once every couple of months and always have a good time.

This place has been open for a while. It is definetely one of the places to go for hookah in Naperville. It offers good hookahs, good food, a nice selection of smoothies and Teas. They have some card games, board games and other games if you feel like playing a game. They have good music in the background and two televisions that usually have sport games on it. The owner (Ehab) has a good relationship with the customer and is usually around trying to help out. It is usually packed on the weekends and slower during the weekdays especially during school time. It is a good place to hang out with few friends, play a game of chess and smoke some hookah while sipping on some tea.

if you just want to go to a place to relax and hang out, this probably isnt the place, but if you're going to satisfy their minimum $$$ requirements, etc, maybe you'll be treated with good food/service.
