Best shrimp and chicken! Very clean and friendly staff! Must try the Lake perch and Fish chips and if you don't want it fried you can get it grilled!

Fresh and cooked to order. Chicken is also good.

Love their shrimp po boy! Excellent flavor, always made to order. Comes with fries and canned soda for a very reasonable price. Only a small amount of seating available but great for carry out or a picnic!

Franks fried seafood is really good. I had their shrimp and catfish which both items were cooked to perfection. Golden brown exterior, fresh tasting fish. There is no after taste or smell. The only issue that I have with Franks is that they don't season their batter. They could include a little more spice. Other than that Franks is a great place to get your fried seafood fix.

I LOVE this place and have tried many of the various fish offerings! Always fresh and always cooked to simple perfection. The folks are super friendly and orders are ready in a flash. All I want now is a baked potato and some broccoli as my sides .... and I would not mind paying more for that.

Had the jumbo Shrimp dinner which included about six shrimps, fries, cole slaw and garlic bread. The shrimp was tasty and perfectly seasoned( not salty). Garlic bread was buttery.

This establishment HAS to be writing its own reviews or at least paying people to give them a thumbs up. I was not a happy customer. I've been to Franks three times and all three visits were the same. The KIDS working in there were rude, the prices are high, and the quantity of food they give is just not worth it in my opinion. I payed $12.50 for a couple of pieces of jumbo shrimp with a child's handful of fries. (The catfish dinner gives you one filet and it's $7.95) I won't be going back

Decided to stop by Franks for lunch today. This was just my second visit. Went with the fried scallop dinner. It was delicious! This place is making me very happy with some killer seafood. Don't know what I'll try next time, but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Being stuck in a softball tournament nearby, we needed some REAL food to energize our kids. Franks hit the spot!! It's a small place with counter seating. It looks like the seafood counter at a grocery store with all kinds of fresh fish ready to go. (They also have fresh frog legs of you're into that kind of grub!). Salmon, cod, tilapia, grouper, orange roughy, shrimp, etc. it's all there fresh, ready to be grilled, blackened or fried. The po boy was outstanding!! Don't miss this little hole in the wall spot!

Awesome shrimp! The shrimp are huge and the cocktail sauce is amazing, the best I've ever had. I have to check out their fish, if I can stop ordering the shrimp, it's just delicious! They also have really good coleslaw.

First off lets talk about Frank himself. Great guy. My family and I had made special request and he's always been able to get it for us. Ok the food is great. My favorite is the lake perch. Always fresh and always hot! I always get a perch dinner and grab a pound of fresh to fry up at home or freeze for later cooking. Cod sandwich taste great. Great tartar sauce and the coleslaw is the bomb! They got frog legs too. I usually get the food to go but I have ate in a couple times. Just a counter with a couple stools. The times I have ate in I had my food brought out to me and was told just to leave everything on the counter when I left that they would take care of it. I can get busy around lunch and dinner so possibly call ahead for faster service. Pretty much everything is made to order so a wait is expected. Oh don't smell terrible like fish inside either. One thing I think they should do is add bluegill too the menu!!

This is one of our favorites. We used to always order the seafood, one day the chicken was cooking and it smelled so good. I ordered the chicken for the first time and I am telling you it is the best chicken I have ever eaten. You must try it. Food is always fresh and great. Thanks Franks for the great eats!!!!!!

I think this place is great. I don't know what went wrong for the other reviewers. But my husband and I love this place. We are both big fans of seafood, and when we want a quick dinner but don't want to deal with a chain fast food place, we come here, and we are always very happy we did. They have grilled seafood dinners, fried seafood dinners, sandwiches and poorboys. I think you can also order family-size meals, they do catering and you may also be able to buy fresh seafood to take home and cook. Everything my husband and I have ordered has been really good. I've had the grilled shrimp dinner, grilled scallops dinner, shrimp poorboy sandwich, fried shrimp & lake perch dinner and the caesar salad. My husband has had the fish & chips, grilled tilapia & shrimp dinner, and the hush puppies. Everything is cooked when you order it. The grilled seafood is cooked to perfection, so succulent and delicious. The fried food is good and not greasy or heavy in my opinion. The grilled dinners come with steamed rice, the fried dinners come with fries. And I think the fries are good, and I generally don't like fries. All sandwiches and poorboys come with fries and a drink. The only downside is I wish there was an option for a side of veggies or something. The only way to get a veggie is to order a caesar salad. The service is friendly, and everytime I go there, it seems like everyone else who comes in is a regular that comes there all the time. I don't blame them! I only I wish we found this place sooner. Also, technically there is seating at this place - there is a counter with stools along the window. Not exactly inviting, however, I have seen people eating there.

Just went there this morning. Asked girl if she had cod nuggets. Showed me cod loins. I told her we used to buy cod cut smaller from here. He said with a snooty attitude "YOU SAID LOINS". I corrected her by saying "nuggets". She then proceeds to tell me how the nuggets (or "chips" as they call it) are the same thing. When I told her I prefer the "chips", she cocked an attitude and said they don't have any cut up yet but the loins are the same thing, just bigger. Seemed like I put her out of her way to cut up some fish. She then said, again with a cocky attitude, I would have to wait since I prefer the chips. Then when I asked her for an order of cheese sticks and soup she said they didn't have any.... they were out. I didn't even dare ask for calamari. Just left with the cod. This is the first time I had such a bad experience in this place. It was so bad, that we will have to think about ever going back. It's a shame that one employee ruins a business.

Any time I come in to Franks, it seems either he or his son is working behind the counter and cooking up the most delicious fish I have ever tasted. I can not rave about this place enough. Every time I go in I am promptly greeted and the service is top notch. The Shrimp poorboy is perfect!! Four very large shrimp on a roll with everything hits the spot with a side of hot sauce. They are pricey, but for the freshness of their product, and the quality of their product you will not find anything in the area that even comes close.

This place has been here for a long time and I have heard a lot of good things about it. I guess they were lying. I was hungry and stopped here on a Wednesday nite. They had jumbo shrimp plate for 10 bucks. There is no seating in the place, so home I went. The shrimp were huge. They split them in the middle. Probably to cook faster? There was a slight hint of fishy smell to them. The cat was going nuts. I wish I could say the same. The fries came in two styles. Thick & crinkled and thin and soggy. Both came with my plate. Their fried chicken is suppose to be good. But I am not sticking around to find out. I can't imagine why they have sandwiches and burgers? When the whole joint smells like fish.

I dont understand what these reviews are so hyped up about. This place is not very good at all. I am from Maine, and the fish here is about as fresh as McDonalds. and the batter is not well made at all, tasteless and too heavy. This area does not have alot of good restaurants and this is definitely one of those no soo good ones. You would be better off at Culvers, their fish is much better and the batter is alot flakier, Maine is know for its seafood, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what seafood should and should not taste like, this is not the place to have seafood. One star is too much. TRY Culvers!!!!!!

I went here after just moving to the neighborhood to give it a try. I ordered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and french fries for my hungry brother and I to snack on. I should have guessed it, but they use the same fryers for fish as they do for everything else. All of our non-fish items tasted like fish sticks. UGH, there is nothing more disgusting than taking a bite into a fish flavored mozzarella stick!?!? I will not be back here ever again!!!

We were in the mood for fish and shrimp so we thought we would try Frank's! We ordered the lake perch and shrimp dinner and the catfish dinner and it was not that good at all! The shrimp had a weird taste to it and the fries were soggy and tasted like fish also. YUCK! I have had better food from our local vfw hall! Less expensive too!
