I have personally never stepped foot in this place, but I have quite a few of these awesome donuts. I usually wait in the car while my husband runs in and gets 2 dozen. He stumbled on this place while stuck in traffic. My husband drives a truck for a living and has quite a sweet tooth so if he says these are the best donuts he's tasted then he's probably right. This man drives all the way to The old world bakery in Lake Zurich for cheese cake danishes.A second choice for donuts would be country donuts in schaumburg. These donuts are good but, dunk donuts always give us more than a bakers dozen.Maybe that's why my hubby makes me wait in the car so he can scarf down a few more for himself.
There's no debate. Dunk is the best family run donut shop in the Chicago metro area. Family run for more than 40 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I lived nearby. Been coming here since the 80s.
I only can say one thing. Best donuts I ever had. Get them, Eat them. Get there early before they run out. The Rush on Roosevelt

Friends in town visiting, met at my fav place their treat. Frutti de Mare. Yum Yum. Everything is great here and you could never go wrong. Great food, friendly and fantastic service and fun atmosphere. Best place to come for an enjoyable experience that you will be sure to tell others about. Like I said, the Frutti de Mare is delicious and worth every enjoyable bite. See for yourself.
Went there with family last week owner who seated us was arrogant and unfriendly. Waitress was very slow didnt ask once if we needed anything or how our meal was. Well, the meal was not good, sauce too sweet my sister's pasta was undercooked and they rudely turned off the music while we were still there. wont reccomend it and will never go back!
Excellent service. Great food. Extensive Italian menu. Huge portions. Vito was extremely welcoming. Danny was a great waiter. Stuffed artichoke hearts were yummy. Vito also let us try the neck bones pro bomo. We will be back!

Tom’s Steak House

Reviews:
Another time-warp-walk-down memory-lane joint. The only only things I'd get here is the comp salad with their to die for dressings (garlic, thousand, and Russian) and the prime rib. The Greek chicken took too long and was way too lemony and the slab of ribs was on par with Chili's. Service was friendly and good to see them still in biz to take my kids here.
The perfect supper club! Though it's a little outdated, this adds to Tom's charm. You know you're going to get what you pay for. Don't pass up the cheese mixture for the potatoes! It's to die for!
We hadn't been there in a long time. Toms was as good as I remember it. Everything was delicious. The steaks were the best. Hot and juicy. we won't wait so long to go there again. No wonder it was crowded. The service was great

I come to this particular Starbucks often as it's on my way to work and has a drive thru! I always have a good experience with the baristas and my drinks. That wasn't the case today. The barista at the the drive thru window was super sweet. I ordered a chai tea latte that did not taste as my usual ones. It lacked overall taste. It did not taste like chai tea. :( I couldn't go back to get another made as I had already pulled away and was in my way to work.
Each visit gets better, they don't know my name, but they always know what I order. Fast service, fair price, you can hang out and run interviews which is nice to do away from the office, bathrooms are alway clean. And the coffee is consistent and great!!
The service could be better from my experience, but nonetheless I come for the coffee not the service. As long as people aren't rude to me taking my order, I won't complain. But it would be nice to see everybody smiling!! :)

Jimmy John’s

2511 W N Ave
Melrose Park, 60160
Reviews:
What the hell, Jimmy Johns? Your sandwiches are delicious, and I never knew it until recently because all you do is brag that you come early. Since when is that something to gloat about? What I'm trying to say is if you didn't put so much emphasis on your fast delivery, and more on your food, I would have been maxing on delicious sandwiches years ago. The aptly named giant club sandwich is where it's at. I can eat half that sandwich and be full, and have the other half for later. They use some thick-ass wheat bread, then they pile meat, cheese and veggies so high that the sandwich barely fits in my mouth. I've never had a problem with this location, as they've always had my order ready by the time I pick it up for lunch. I've never had it delivered from here, but I have seen the driver. He looks like Chief Keef and drives an old, beat up Buick. But don't let that deter you.
Same old same old. But they are truly freaky fast. Ordering online is awesome if you have a large order, they actually write the people's names on the sandwiches to make it easier. They also allow for special instructions for the delivery which is helpful.
Customer appreciation or slap in the face?? I've been a patron at this location for about 2 years now... it's proximity to my work is the reason I frequent here. Today, it's been well advertised on the radio that JJ will have $1 subs for "customer appreciation" from 11am - 3pm. I pulled up to this location at 10:55am only to find a banner above the door advertising 25% off the $3.98 sandwiches and a large sign on the door letting the customers know that this location would not be honoring the $1 deal, and gave a short list of other (somewhat) local JJ's that will be honoring the deal. As I decided I would still purchase here considering the drive to another location would take another 15-20 minutes. At 11am, there was a line of about 20 customers standing around the door, employees behind the counter ignoring the knocks and line itself. A Starbucks employee from next door finally got someone's attention, she moseyed herself to the door opened it and declared to all the customers in line "I could open the door, but the sale doesn't start till 11:03" REALLY, I'm mean seriously... not only are you shafting your customers out of the advertised deal and only giving them $1 off ($3.98 -25%), now you insult them further by denying to serve anyone for an additional 3 minutes. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I will never come to this location again. I decided after that to get back in my car and leave... I refuse to have a fast food restaurant insult me any further. So I went to the Elmhurst location where EVERYONE was friendly and they had the line down to a science.

For those munchies, quick access to those scrumptious chicken mini hamburgers. They hit the spot to subside any hunger that is present. They do open late!
Ok! For the new son-in-law... The service was lacking! When the new son first came for a visit he had a split crave pack - half burgers and the other chicken sandwiches. Since he enjoyed the experience so much the first time, I thoguht I'd be the nice mother-in-law and surprise him again, but to my surprise "We don't serve the crave packs that way". With attitude. Well excuse me! I didn't say this, but was polite and simply ordered ten burgers and ten chicken sandwiches. I drove around to pay and the demeanor of the server changed. I guess seeing who you're serving is believing, so she asked if I wanted mayo. I said sure, and was handed a handful of mayo packets. The same exchange took place for ketchup. It was a bit surreal. The new son was happy, however on their next visit... Methinks not this White Castle. Truly, eating one of those buggers is a step back in time, (although, it's been decades since I've eaten one-that mystery meat shall not pass these lips of mind); and is fun if you've never been exposed, but like I said this particular establishment doesn't seem to care for creating good memories.
This Melrose Park White Castle might not be the worst in existence, but it's definitely towards (or at) the bottom of the grease-soaked pile. First off, the men's bathroom was dirty at best, disgusting at worst. The soda fountain was leaking excessively and most of the 'press here' buttons were badly smashed in (how angry are the people that come here?? seriously.) I was a little dismayed that there wasn't a single shamrock or mention of St Paddy's day when I was there.....on March 17th. I know for a fact that other WC's "celebrate" the Irish holiday, so my guess is this particular location doesn't play by the same rules. Whatever. Also, instead of calling out my order number--which is typical fast food protocol--they shouted out 'WHO HAD CHICKEN RINGS? and uhhh.....A BACON CHEESE SLIDER?' Well, that could be any one of us. Consider, I don't know, calling out the order number, so you can properly track the goddamn order and not risk giving away the right food to the wrong person. To add insult to injury, I had to remind them that my chicken ring meal came with fries. Other locations have a condiment station for the customer's convenience--this one doesn't. When I visited, they were out of their 'seafood' (can you say s-k-e-t-c-h-y?), which I couldn't care less about, but other customers seemed disappointed. With a plethora of other, better White Castles throughout Chicagoland, I doubt I'll ever come back to this specific one again. Hard pass.
