The parking lot was full when we arrived. Excellent friendly service, eggs, bacon, hash browns just the right portion. Pancakes were ok.

Oh, the Midwest...how different you are from my native Southern California. Though, not in a bad way. While the food that I had here at Red Apple was average, the service was pretty entertaining. Our waitress was a tall, thin blonde lady who laughed when I asked her if there was anything healthy on the menu. It seems to be quite a local spot where "everybody knows your name" because later I watched her smack a patron on the head with her notepad. I wish I could do that with my customers! If you want a down to earth atmosphere with home style food, then this is the place to be.

Traveling around the St. Louis and Mississippi River area this was a nice, super-casual place to have breakfast before a day of sight seeing. We ordered omelettes and they were big, fluffy, and fantastic. The hash browns weren't as browned as I prefer, but still good. Some very reasonably priced entrees are available although I felt the a la carte menu was overpriced for a restaurant of this type. Bright clean and large dining room with friendly servers. While I was not in the mood for a "sweet" breakfast they have a mouth watering array of delicious stuff on their menu like fruit crepes and flavored pancakes, French toast, etc. Check it out especially if you like breakfast food!

Such a busy place at breakfast time! The parking lot was full, and it appears to be a favorite of locals. That says something about this restaurant before even tasting the food. We like Greek food, and ordered the Gyros Omelette. Although the wait staff was clearly very busy, patrons appeared to be unrushed. This is not a fast-food restaurant, but our order came quickly. I found the omelette to be tasty, but a little dry.

Living in Maryville, you realize quickly the huge lack of anything for eating. No grocery stores, limited delivery options. Red Apple is just one of those diners you come into and get a ton of food for little price. I'm a fan of the corned beef hash skillet special. A mountain of hash browns, few peppers and onions, a giant topping of corned beef hash, and three over easy eggs with toast. All this for 6.95. Did I mention how gigantic the portions are? If you're hungry, eat here. The staff is friendly. I do wish the corned beef wasn't out of a can, but then again, I have cans of it at home as that is what I grew up on.. so for the price, and value, I can't complain!

Great food with quick service. The place is clean and friendly. If you're staying at a nearby hotel, skip the hotel breakfast or chain food and give this place a try. Worth the time and money.

Red Apple has a diner-esque quality. The food is good, plentiful, and relatively inexpensive. If you eat there regularly, as many locals do, the staff will recognize you and become familiar with your regular order. They serve breakfast all day which is what I almost always order. Their chicken noodle soup is great - definitely go to soup when I'm sick. Good fried chicken and burgers according to my family.

The wife and I come here every chance we have. usually after a doctors visit. If you are looking for good food at a great price this is the place, you will get plenty of food at a good price. Breakfast is great ate their omelet plate very nice. They have a great assortment in the menu to chose from. A place you cannot go wrong.

Typical Greek diner, with a nice decor. I just wished they did not try and put Greek influences in everything. There are 2 different Greek omelets. One has gyro meat, one has spinach and feta. What next greek Cheerios with moussaka? They have very solid diner food. The also have Eggs Benedict as an unlisted special. The hollandaise was thick and possibly home made. The waitress did not confirm when I asked. It was very busy. They do breakfast all day long. I go here frequently for breakfast. IT is very good and affordable. They will customize almost anything. I hear that the lunch is superb!

Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food. I've eaten there three days in a row for lunch while on a work assignment in the area. The menu is very diverse; I had a gyro on day 1, burger on day 2, and an omelette day 3. Definitely recommended if you're in the Maryville are.

It's a decent place to get your greasy spoon fix. The locals seem to love it as everyone found someone they recognized. Breakfast all day is a plus. While I only had a side dish, others at the table liked what they ordered. The monte cristo looked very good.

Great place in Maryville to get breakfast. They do more then breakfast, (including daily specials) but I've only been here for breakfast. In my experiences the waffles, omelets, and corn beef hash are all good choices, but I guarantee that they will have something on their menu that will make you happy. It's a favorite spot of the locals, and it can become very busy on weekend mornings.

Good breakfast spot. The food is really good. The service is quick and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. These three elements make for a solid pick in the area. I've been a couple of times for dinner, and it's your run of the mill Midwestern restaurant. Didn't return due to lack of healthy options.

This was my first time here, and I was very impressed. The menu is very deep. The food was very good and the waitress was fantastic! The portions were huge. I'll be back if I am ever in the area again.

Awesome breakfast spot in Maryville. Excellent pancakes, corned beef hash, omelets and hash-brown's. Very cheap and the staff is usually very friends. It gets pretty crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings. They server lunch and dinner too, but I've never tried it.
