It's not a high end restaurant but again that's not what it's advertised as. Food is good and all made with quality ingredients. Ice Cream is all good especially the Moose Tracks and brownie batter. Also you can rent any movie for $1 don't worry about giving your information these guys have been in business for over 30 years and have never had a problem as its all locked in a safe with only the owner having access.

I have always believed that if, after writing a review, something happens that would make me change a rating I will do so. My friend and I were out and about. My friend had a coupon for free nachos and cheese and wanted to stop by the drive thru to use it. We shared the nachos on our way to our next stop. I have to say they were as good as what would be expected at any other venue that served packaged chips with warm canned cheese sauce and canned jalapeños.

Bad reviews are far and few between for me, especially since I only like leaving good ones (that whole, "if you don't have anything nice to say" motto) but I don't think there's anything that can make me come back to this place for food. I've been here maybe half a dozen times, and each time gets worse and worse. Today I went in and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The manager (at least I'm assuming since she had a blue shirt on, instead of the red ones) very abruptly "corrected" me saying that I must have meant a rockyburger. I said that's fine, as long as it's a cheeseburger. Well, shocker, it wasn't included with cheese. I would have gladly paid the extra charge for cheese (as I was told by some nicer young girl), but the manager didn't seem to care. She was preoccupied watching the gamblers over by the slot machines. Overall, the staff seemed like good people, but it was the manager that was terrible. Rude with everything I said or ordered. Oh and the quality of my rockyburger and fries? Poor. At best.

Groupon Deal for $11 brought me in. 1 Large pizza, 2 drinks & 3 appetizers. . To be honest for the price ... you can't expect Giordano's.. so I would say it was good. I would definitely purchase another deal and go in buy dinner it fed 4 people. . Employees were friendly.

Came here for the first time during their official grand opening (they gave away certificates for free food for a year! No joke!). The line was long, but it moved fast to get in and they handed out ice cream to waiting guests. Most folks waited to get their coupon books and left, but we stuck around to get a pizza. It was super busy inside (obviously) so didn't get to really look around. We ordered a basic cheese & sausage to go. We waited outside for our order and chatted with the owner (personally handing out more ice cream to anyone who wanted it or seconds). Very nice. Pizza was ready pretty quickly for the crowd, too. Was it the best pizza I ever had, no. But it is probably one of the best in the area. They did a good job making over the building and the staff was so nice. We would be back, even without the free food for a year.

Note: 5 pm - 9 pm on Wednesdays, get UNLIMITED pizza for just $3.49 per person. All you can eat pizza every Wednesday from 5-9, how awesome! -------------------------------------------------------------------- After coming here for the second time, I am to conclude that Rocky's Pizzeria is the best in town for thin crust pizza. The first time I came here, I was very impressed by the quality of the food and service and the second time around, I am even more impressed. We ordered a jumbo (18") cheese and a large (14") cheese pizza (extra sauce on both pizzas) and they both were great. Sauce is phenomenal, cheese is great and the crust is to die-for. No, that is not an exaggeration, it is really good. We also ordered a Rockyburger (1/4 hamburger) to just explore their menu and it was good. Could have used some cheese so I will be sure to get some cheese next time I order a burger. I will definitely be coming back to this location. I am pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food and service and although I have never been in to eat (went through drive-thru to pick up my order both times I have been here), I will definitely be back to sit in and take in some of the fun they have inside. Highly recommended to anyone in the area looking for a really good thin crust, east coast style, pizza. Take out or dine in! Or, for little kids, this place looks awesome! Try em' out, you may be just as impressed as I am. Five stars to Rocky!

A coupon brought us in and we won't be returning. The food is average and cheap quality. It's not worth it if you don't have a coupon, but even then, I'd rather not fill myself with cheap food. It is a pizza joint for the kids who don't care about quality (there isn't even an arcade, only a casino?). The food came really fast, so I guess that is a positive. Do not get the mozzarella sticks, they are tasteless. The sausage isn't great, so their cheese pizza deal might be worth it. The food tastes like average school cafeteria food to me.

Had a Groupon for a large pizza and appetizer sampler. The appetizers were pretty good but the pizza was pretty bad. It was fresh and hot but made with low quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to rent DVDs but they have recently raised the prices to $2.

The pizza is not the worst I have ever had, but it is close. I went in for lunch for a slice of pizza. They had just sold the last slice, so I knew the pizza I got would be fresh. When the pizza arrived, the crust was soggy and reminded me of the crust from a Pillsbury canned pizza dough (absolutely nothing like traditional east coast crust). Also, there was no seasoning on the pizza. When I asked if they had any oregano or Italian seasoning in the kitchen that I could sprinkle on, they said they did not, and that they don't actually put any seasoning on the pizza (which is exactly how it tasted). The place is bright and colorful to attract kids, and the mediocre pizza would probably appeal most to kids. The problem is that one side of the dining room is taken up by a video poker area that is adult only, and there are no kid's video games. The video poker area is not walled in, and while the gaming area was empty at lunch, I don't think I would want to take my daughter there at night. I am not sure who this place is trying to appeal to, but as for me I can't see any reason to return.

Food wasn't horrible. Typical food that you'd find at a Chuck e Cheese. It took a very long time to get our order. We also signed up for the DVD rental which we will never do again. EVER! Ruined our PS3 from the stickers that they place on them. When I called to let them know, the manager told me that it's my machine and not their DVDs. Funny because all other DVD'S work except for them. Very mean over the phone. They also write your credit card number on a piece of paper even though it goes into the computer. Much better places to go to in Lindenhurst and Lake Villa.

Love it. Great staff, always friendly and have never had a bad meal. Love the $.99 rentals. Live locally and think Rockys is a great neighbor. My friend Cathy has become a slot jockey and loves the VIP section with the little Debbie treats.

The history of the building might be the demise of the establishment. I was quite shocked that Rocky's opened there after the building being shuttered for so long but hey I can say with honesty that they did a great job inside that place. Very vibrant with a dab of pizzazz. It reminds me a tad bit of People's Choice but better in the customer relations department. Ok, I will give an honest review but I would appreciate it if this doesn't turn into another Amy 's Baking Company review where the manager/owner replies to every negative review trying to justify. First off way over staffed and burning labor. I went in at about 9 pm on a Saturday night and I recall maybe 3 tables occupied yet there were at least 10 employees milling around. I placed my order with the GM very pleasant fellow and wished him well in his venture there and we chatted briefly about the killing there when it was BK. Anyhow, it was my first time there and I wasn't going to go all out and order multiple items on my first visit so I just went with a large meat lovers. Handed me some toy that would light up when my order was ready, didn't really pay much attention to it because before I knew it a young man was at my table with my pizza. I grabbed it, got in my car and drove home. Went inside put it on the table, grabbed some napkins and a soda then lifted the lid on pizza box. First glance I could see was an uneven crust but not to bad and one could tell that a new employee must have been tossing dough so he/she gets a pass. Reaching in for the first slice disappointed me. The pizza wasn't cut all the way through so I had to tear the pizza slice from the others. Once again they get a pass because a new place equals new employees that are just learning. The first bite told me that I will wait a few months before trying it again. Give them time to perfect it. There was very little sauce but plenty of meat to make up for taste. I did eat half the pizza and left the rest on the counter for the girls. It wasn't horrible but for the price I was expecting a little more. I will revisit and revise review in a few weeks. Word of advice for whomever it was that replied to the 1st reviewer, delete your response. If that's really you with the clip board you should know better than to call out a customer or bad mouth a customer on line, especially in an economy like this. If what your saying about the customer is a true portrayal of what happened then you should also know that's only 1% of customers that do that. Take my advice, delete your response to previous reviewer.

We went and got the FREE nachos on July 28, 2014. Not bad. Then we went to Grande Jakes in Lindenhurst and got some REAL nachos.

Went there with the family. The pizza is in a word.. horrible. The fact I can say Pizza Hut or Chuck E Cheese has better pizza should speak volumes about the pizza at Rocky's. I actually got physically sick when I got home after eating there which I still am unsure if it was directly because of the food. Kid had the chicken tenders.. that's pretty basic. Out of the freezer into a deep fryer, hard to mess up. In short, if you want really basic bad for you food for your kids, you can stop by here. I think the only item on the menu I'd 'like' are the nachos. Then again the nachos are on the same level as nachos from 7-11. There are definitely better choices than this place.

Had a personal Deluxe pizza. Very yummy! The crust was soft inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The entire restaurant was absolutely spotless. Not a crumb to be found on a table. Also, the employees were very friendly. The only odd thing were the slot machines in an otherwise family friendly atmosphere and.
