I love Potbelly for it's tasty toasted sammiches and malts, but if the taste itself doesn't get you, the low-prices for lunch will. It's a freaking madhouse during lunch time due to it's close proximity to Hewitt and Stevenson High School.

What can I say about this place, I went to DePaul back in the day and used to eat at the original location on Lincoln Ave. My daughter's first sandwich was a turkey on white from the Clybourn location. Well she was a bit young, so I only fed her the turkey meat. They make the BEST toasted sandwiches period! I even took some coworkers to a location in Dallas, during a client visit. As many chains, they have good days and bad, but overall this is my choice for a meatball, chx salad or roast beef sandwich. The only drawback is their kid size sandwiches are tiny and therefore somewhat overpriced. We eat at their many locations about 30 times a year.

Pulled pork . Eh way to lean. I think a nice piece of Brisket would have been a better choice

Potbelly is my go-to for sandwiches in the suburbs because they are less packed than the ones in the city. Prices are also slightly lower. The "big wreck" is 5.60 which I'm totally fine with. The bigs are a little less than a foot. As a larger person, don't bother with the regular sized sandwiches, they never fill me up. Potbelly gets the toppings just right. The mustard and mayo work so well with their hot pepper mix. In a multiple meat sandwich you can taste each meat individually. Its less processed than subway and for shame if you ever pass one of these up for Jared's jankey sandwiches. I went there to grab a sandwich last Saturday night before making my way over to the beer market. I told the employee my plans when he asked me what I was up to, and mentioned that the beer market didn't have food. The guy gave me some cookies for my friends who were meeting me at the market to split on the house as it was the end of the day. Major positive vibes! Hit them up and ask to be maxed out on hot peps.

First time I've tried Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Staying at the Hampton Inn, two minute walk away. My sandwich builder was helpful, efficient and had my to go order ready quickly. Sandwich was delicious! Very good price. Definitely recommend!

I came here for the first time, after going to the ones in Deerfield and Highland Park often. I paid for, and took home an original size Wreck. I open it and it's a Skinny, and the bread is burnt. Never had this happen at the other locations.

This is actually the very first Potbellys that I have been to, which was in 2006-2007 (?). But I work in the area now, so I still continue on coming back here. The service here is always GREAT. They get a big volume of customers for lunch since there are so many companies in the area, but I always get my sandwich in under 7 minutes, even when the line seems never-ending. They are always very friendly, and there is outdoor seating so it's great for summer. The entire complex is really cute, so it's great to meet up with friends here. I always find parking relatively fast, but I can see it getting packed for dinner since there are quite a few restaurants/mini golf at this location.

This place was pretty amazing. I never even heard of the place but i found it through yelp. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and their sandwiches are way better then Quiznos. The inside has like an old antique type feeling to it. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. I had the large wreck sandwich which was delish. The workers were nice and friendly even with them busy during the lunch rush which is a big plus for me.

Three for being the average fast food place with the usual crowd and service. I don't know what to say about it that hasn't been said before. Get the wreck, get the oreo shake, enjoy. I like this place for the convenience factor, but I dislike it for the ridiculous crowd that appears around lunch time (which makes this not such a fast meal when you're out for work). The parking lot, manageable. Nothing spectacular. One thing to note... I dislike the live music. You go there to chat with co-workers or friends and sometimes the live music just creates more of a disturbance than ambiance. Overall... going and will keep going.

Potbelly is a great sandwich place and the size of the lunch crowd proves it. Parking is so brutal during lunchtime however. So much so that we tend to go early or late just to get a parking spot. They have the lunchtime rush down to a really good, quick and efficient system though. Love The Wreck! Outdoor seating is nice during good weather.

I don't know what people like about this place. Like music is loud, tables are dirty and prices get more and more expenisive every time I go. I will not be eating here many more times.

Are you like me and hate country but yet certain tunes are just hypnotic... well every time I'm waiting in line for a Potbelly sandwiches that song that goes "I like I love it I want some more of it" pops into my head. At least it's just in my head... now if I can just stop dancing waiting in line for my sandwich I'd be set or at least not get so many looks. This is my other Potbelly, they know my sandwich too.... Yeah that's the stuff sandwiches!!

Fantastic! They messed up my order (it happens) and unexpectedly gave me my sandwich for free. Now that is customer service.

The people that work there are cool. Nice, but the food is blech. As a vegan, there's like nothing to eat. You wind up having to get a sandwich with mushroom and peppers. Good luck filling up on that! Good thing it was cheaper than hitting up the even crappier Quiznos.

Love this place, ESP the location and staff here. Really great customer service and my toddler loves watching the musicians perform live.

Yes, this is THE best sandwich place I've frequented in the states! It has the perfect toasted bread with a list of sandwiches you can't go wrong with. I would highly recommend the Italian with lettuce, mayo, oil and seasoning or the Pizza with mushrooms! Only drawback would be the Vitner's ghetto chips they have there. The milkshakes are perfect with the cute shortbread cookie which comes looped on your straw and the chocolate and oatmeal cookies are magnificent! Don't forget to try the chili!!! Yummmmmm!!!
