Just happened to be in Lemont for work and stopped by here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered their special of the day (pastrami sandwich). I also ordered a bowl of chicken soup and was satisfied with both. The sandwich was flavorful and filling, while the soup was delicious. I ended go back the next day for their buffalo chicken wrap (another great tasting meal). Kudos to the quality food this establishment puts out.
Nice little sandwich shop with Boars Head meats. I got some pretzel bread turkey thing, but lots of other options looked good too.
I've been here twice now and, each time, had had great food. On my first visit, I came for lunch and had a cup of chili and the vegetable wrap. To begin, the chili: absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, and lots of crunch from the onions. And...the vegetable wrap. While the veggies were extremely fresh, it just lacked flavor. On my first visit, I really appreciated the atmosphere, as it was when I had first moved to Lemont, and I got to see what a great community feel the downtown has. On my second visit, I got a to-go order of their House Chopped Salad, and it was extremely good. It was probably on par with Portillo's and their chopped salad. Incredibly fresh, and with a bright, flavorful dressing. I loved it and it was enough for 2 meals. I look forward to a third visit!

Seen Nick's on Chicago's Best. I was going to be in Lemont and thought I would give it a try. I'm so happy I did. I took the burgers to go. My husband and I both thought they were great. Had other family members say "hey what's that you're eating" so I gave them Nick's number and they called, placed an order too. Needless to say, they were happy with my recommendation. We will all be back. Hopefully to dine in next time.
I stopped in there on a weeknight a few months ago with a bunch of friends. We're a noisy bunch and took up a lot of space, but the staff were friendly and everybody enjoyed their burger. I had to work a bit more that evening so I didn't test out the bar. Nick's is on my list for a place to try again when the weather gets better, maybe on a Saturday afternoon when I can linger for a while.
Small town bar with country like service. A very simple, huge, delicious burger.

Jimbo’s Pizza

Reviews:
Can't believe that there are no reviews out there for Jimbo's! Just moved to Lemont in the past 6 months, decided to try Jimbo's since it was right down the street from our house and absolutely LOVE it! We've tried some of the other local places (non-chains) and they have not compared. The service is great, the people there are friendly and the prices are good. The dough knots are excellent, if your going to order from there, you have to try them. They are still a little bit doughy and the garlic on them is delicious - ahhh I'm starting to drool just thinking about it! Now that they have opened up a seating area inside, the place is really nice. We have always ordered carry out, but have said we need to go there and dine in sometime too.
Superb Pizza. One of the Best in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. This is saying allot since there are many Pizza joints in Chi-town that kick booty. Jimbo's is always a consistent, quality product. dine in or carry out, you will not be disappointed. When stopping in tell Jim Mandra, the owner, Mark said hello.Besdie a great Pizza chef, Jimbo was a dam good goalie for our College Hockey team. When you do visit I recommend the thin crust sausage Pizza, pure, simple and delicious!
In Lemont, there aren't many great pizza places to choose from but Jimbo's is now a go-to for thin crust. I moved from my hometown on the South Side where you have so many amazing choices for true Chicago pizza that you can have a different pizza every night of the week. I'm happy to now include Jimbo's. The price is fair for the area as far as pizza goes. I wish it didn't cost as much for a pizza as I feel like the meal should be a great bang for your buck. The cheese pizza holds a well balanced amount of dough, cheese and sauce. None overpowering the other. The thin is a little thicker than the average thin so I'm looking forward to trying the super thin next time. Also, the Lemonster looks pretty epic. I ordered Bosco Sticks which were reminiscent of the first time I ate the gooey goodness. Crusted edges topped with Parmesan and soft on the inside with the cheese stretching out with the first bite. One thing all Lemont pizzerias can work on, open at Noon on Sundays!!! At least in the fall so I can eat a pizza and watch Da Bears game.

Lemon Tree Casual Dining

Reviews:
Lemon Tree is a little dive restaurant, but it has pretty good food. In fact, their Butter & Garlic fries are legendary. My daughters ask for them all the time. You can get gyros, sub sandwiches, burgers, beef etc. It's cheap enough too. The only complaint is that the service is really slow. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for your order, even through the drive thru. If you are okay with the wait, the food is good and reasonable and it's a nice casual place to grab food.
It may not be the tastiest food around ... and certainly not the healthiest ... but compared to typical big name fast food chains I'd rather eat at this local place. The healthiest thing on the menu are probably the salads and their house dressing is actually tasty. The burgers, hot sandwiches and cold subs are all pretty tasty and reasonably priced. Main thing to remember: Do NOT skip the butter-garlic fries. They're not even close to healthy ... but they are absolutely delicious!!!
Good food and excellent butter garlic fries ! Only if you could understand the 16 year old girl behind the counter. But food is good .
