I have to say, I had a hard time deciding what rating to attach to this review. During dinner time they do a really good job, probably a 4 star level of service. However, during lunch time id be generous in giving them 2 stars. They just don't seem focused on serving customers during lunch time, it takes a very long time and the food is mediocre. My friend asked for mayonnaise after he received his food and it took almost 15 minutes to get it. Really? I'll be coming here only at dinner time from now on.

I'll start by saying, years ago, my wife was a former Chilis server and bartender. Not at this location, but we still like to get down on some Chilis. Nostalgia, if nothing else... Anyway, we've given this location a few tries over the last few years. It always disappoints. Our last trip will be our last try. We walked out before our drinks even came. The service is as bad as it gets. I'm not sure how they function.

Food was good. What you expect from a chain restaurant, they have that part down good. The issues I had were with service. Not much attention, never received a refill on drinks, she forgot about our appetizer then she brought it out 3 mins before the food. What is the purpose of that?

Service is good, but the food not so great. Had the ribeye steak, lots of gristle & fat, and overcooked. The veggie was mushy. Not worth the money.

The service was decent. But the restaurant was very noisy. The people on the other side of the wall kept pounding on their table and because of the way the booths were setup our table kept shaking like a California earthquake. The computer screen on the table which accepted [ayment was cool.

We received a gift card, so we went to the Chili's in Homewood. I've had Chili's before, and usually like it. The hostesses were kind of rude, but aside from that I should have really left when I saw that the table was filthy. There were bits of lettuce everywhere. Also, our drink menu had something brown smeared all over it. Our dinner menus were also greasy. When our server brought out plates for our appetizers, one of them was covered in food. She apologized before she even set it on the table and brought us a clean one. We got the pretzels with cheese and the cheese sauce was pretty much congealed. I'm not sure why I bothered ordering dinner because, as expected, I got food poisoning. That was probably my own fault. The server was nice, but it doesn't make up for the fact that this place is gross. Please do a bit of extra driving and just go to the Chilis in Dyer or Orland instead.

This is by far one of the worst restaurants i've ever been to. I went out with my mother and sister one evening and it was pathetic. The service was slow. When we got our food, my mother's food was cold and my food was poorly seasoned. The tables and floor were a sticky mess and we had to take it upon ourselves to clean it up. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT eat here

Do not go here! Slow, cold food. 40 minutes for a burger at 3:00 in the afternoon. What were we thinking?

Chilis is a great place to celebrate with friends and family. If everyone wants something different, there's a variety of things to choose from. Everyone will feel welcomed, and the service will always be great. During cold winter days, chilis is the place to go. Hot chili, queso, ribs, burgers, hot soup, they have it all. chilis is the way to go.

This Chili's has always been a hit-or-miss experience. The last couple of times I've been there, it's been more on the 'hit' end of the scale. However, this evening's visit was definitely a 'miss'. We were seated in a raised booth - the kind that are usually placed next to the bar. Neither my husband nor I like sitting there as we find it A) too cramped and B) too near the noise of the sports bar side of the restaurant. We waited until our server came back with our drinks , and asked to be re-seated somewhere more comfortable. She acted like it was a big inconvenience. She said, "You won't have extra room anywhere else, you're better off staying where you are." When our server took our order, she seemed visibly annoyed that we requested the 2 for $20 promotion. Our appetizer was fine (how can you mess up cheese fries?), but our main meals were seriously mediocre. We've eaten at this Chili's a lot in the past, and we know when they're on top of their game. This was definitely not one of those nights. My fries were hot, but they had been sitting in the fryer too long and were overly greasy. Yuck. The burger I ordered was sawdust-dry and (unsurprisingly) lacking in flavor. Not even ketchup could improve it. I managed two bites before I gave up. My husband had a chicken quesadilla, which he wasn't thrilled with. He said it tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamp too long. (He wound up being sick on the way home.) When the check came, it was wrong. She had rung up our meal like we'd ordered a la carte off the menu, not the 2 for $20 offer we specifically requested. When my husband pointed it out, she disappeared for a few minutes, and then came back and said "Oh, I fixed it. I gave you a discount". Nope, you didn't. You changed it to the correct price. That's not a discount, that's trying to cover your ass. The capper on this disappointing dining experience was the difference in service our server gave us versus another couple sitting across from us. She was falling over herself to be attentive and friendly, checking on them regularly, getting drink refills, etc. The most we got was a "your appetizer will be out soon" after our order was placed, and then later during the meal when our entrees came out, a very bored-like-she-was-doing-us-a-favor-to-speak-to-us "Is your food okay?" If you, as my server are in any way competent, civil and don't act like I'm ruining your life by patronizing your place of employment and expecting you to do your job, then you're probably going to get at the bare minimum an 18% tip, but most of the time it'll be 20% or more. As a general rule, I hate giving less than that. I've worked in food service and I know how hard it can be. Needless to say our server did not get 18%. I came away from this dining experience furious and hungry - but mostly just furious. There are plenty of places to get a good meal - this, apparently, is no longer one of them.

I believe this establishment needs an overhaul, as it does not measure up to other Chili's. A couple of years ago, a group of us would eat lunch here. Some of us would order the "bottemless" lunch consisting of unlimited soup and salad. Unfortunately, after just one round of servings and a 40 minutes wait with empty glasses, the waiting staff would bring us our checks. After speaking to the Manager, it was determined that she held staff meetings during the busy lunch hour, albeit, at the customers expense. The management appears to have improved since that time. However, the service continues to be poor to mediocre, and now some of the serving sizes are under attack. I recently ordered the $16 Trio Fajitas for dinner. What was brought to our table appeared to be a lunch sized order. Three tortillas, the World's smallest chicken breast (size of a credit card), a tablespoon sized serving of steak and several shrimp. To place this into perspective, that is $5.33 per taco plus tax plus tip, or over $7 per taco. And sure enough, our smiling waitress allowed my glass to remain empty for 20 minutes even though it was placed at the edge of the table. I do not like eating with a dry mouth and can avoid it simply by dining at home. That said, continued problems with this establishment may force it to close its doors as did T.G.I. Friday's across the street. They are loosing significant business to local competition, primarily due to poor service and failure to deliver on overall value.

The Quesadilla Explosion Salads are amazing! I was going to do a copycat recipe but I'm way too lazy. I do the Chili's to go and it's already ready!

Good Bar...nothing fancy just simple and straight forward. Cordell is a good bartender, ask for him. Beer and Margaritas are great.

This was a quick outing with my niece. We couldn't decide on the place, but somehow ended up here. It's Chili's - a.k.a upscale fast food, with the priciness of a restaurant. We were seated by a young man who so didn't want to be a work, but our server more than made up for his lack of enthusiasm. He didn't get it that there were at least a dozen other places we could have stopped in, but didn't - youth! Our server was pleasant, social, and interested in making sure we had everything we needed. She got it! Service with a smile. The meal was great - tasty and came quickly. To the credit of our server I may go back. :-)

First time I ordered from here I got a 6oz steak when I paid for a 10oz steak. Than I called and wouldn't get a refund. Than I just placed an order for three kids meals and a bacon burger and the mashed potatoes for the kids meal had skin all in it. They weren't skilled mashed or loaned mashed potatoes just regular mashed. How are you so stupid that you don't skin the potatoes before you cook and mash them. That's ignorance and damn right stupid!! They should never work in a kitchen again. O and than when I called I was put on hold for 10 minutes and the manager was to busy to speak to me!! Highly disappointed!!!

This has to be the worst Chili's I have ever been to! The service here is horrible! I have been sitting here for 15 minutes and have not been acknowledged or had ny drink oder taken. Can't even find a manager to complain to. I will never come back here again. I should have given it zero stars!

Stopped in to try the new craft burger and have a drink. Had the tropical Margarita. I don't think I've ever had one full of ice cubes. It was Ok. Tried the sweet and smoky burger. Smaller than I expected. Taste was Ok. It was a bit greasy, bacon was crumbled pieces instead of strips. Will stick with Red Robin when I want a good burger.

Friendly hostess, attentive service, spacious interior but my massive Jalapeno burger was dry as a bone... guess well done is the new medium at Chili's :). Definitely go for the mashed potatoes as a side with a nice dose of melted cheddar and soupy sour cream toppings. We were a party of 8 but I definitely wasn't craving anyone elses dish... everything just looked so unappealing. Oh well, I guess I can't expect consistent quality at franchise shops. Anyways if you are into happy hour or sports give it a go there is a very nice U shaped bar counter... unsure how good the smileless lone bartender was but can't beat cold beer.

I know, why was I going to Chili's? Shouldn't I know better? Well, I have limited choices for lunch, all chains, and I was in the mood for this chicken quesadilla thing that an old boyfriend used to bring home for me when he worked at a different Chili's. But boo, it wasn't on the menu! They either took it off or this specific Chili's doesn't offer it (more likely the previous). So I ordered a wrap and, I must say, the fries were great-- they were fresh and nicely seasoned. Sadly, the service was not great. I sat at the bar (there was only one other customer at the bar) and was greeted quickly when I sat down. I ordered a diet coke and then waited. And waited. The bartender had disappeared into the kitchen. She came back, and I watched her make a margarita. When she looked over at me, I told her I'd be right back. I went to the restroom and to my car for my hoodie (it was freezing in there). I came back. Finally, the bartender gave me my diet coke and took my food order. When I ran out of diet coke, I took sips of water from a bottle that I keep in my work bag and was never asked if I wanted a refill on my diet coke. Diet coke is very important to me. I was annoyed at her relaxed attitude toward my diet coke.

Avoid this location at all cost!!!!! It took almost an hour to get seated- I was part of a party of 12. According to the staff, they were waiting for a third table to open up to sit are party together. Two tables were already open with a third vacant right next to them . It wasn't until a member of our party suggested pushing the tables together that a light bulb went on. Having looked at the menu while waiting to be seated almost everyone knew what they wanted. It still took a half hour to get our food. Not to mention that they screwed up someone's order and it took twice as long to get his food, Since this was a timed outing with a group of individual's with disabilities. All of us ended up having no choice but to take our food to go. If you want Chili's may I suggest the location in Chicago Ridge
