I've been living in Hampshire for about 8 years and I've eaten their food twice. And they were good. I like how the food is nice and fresh and hot as you go and pick it up. I like how they have a delivery option, although I've never had Chinese food delivered to my home before. The first time I tried the place, it was ready so soon as I picked it up. I forgot what I ordered but it was good. The most recent was when my dad ordered a couple of dishes for a little get together. It was his first time trying the restaurant as well. The food he ordered was so good. And I should mention how we are still using the to go trays they packed our food in as Tupperwares for future storage. Now that we have a menu on hand that shows everything from the menu to the lunch specials, my dad knows next time to have it delivered instead.

I'm a fan of Iron Wok and have been coming here for years. The owner is very nice and friendly, and knows I like my order "extra spicy." They have an excellent lunch special for a good price -- I recommend cashew chicken as one of their best. This isn't a "destination" place in the sense I'd go out of my way to come here for something special; it's just good, solid, local Chinese food that is consistently tasty. Recommended.

Iron Wok in Hampshire is a great, local, place to get Chinese Food. We often order their Sesame Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pan Fried Pot Stickers. I would not say that this is a place to go out of the way for, but if you are in Hampshire, need a Chinese food fix, and want to stay local then this is the place for you. About a year ago they brought in a new chef who cooks authentic Chinese such as Whole Fish, Beef Cheeks, and Squid. It may be soon that I venture into one of those territories. ~ Aaron

Very fresh great tasting Chinese food. Not worth driving a great distance for, but if you are around and feeling Chinese go here. I'd get it to go since the air in environment cheapens the food.

Very good, fresh Chinese food. The restaurant was very clean, and, although small, the environment was nice. Would recommend, especially the salt pepper shrimp. Overall, nice little restaurant to eat at or for take-out.

Not the same place it was several years ago. Very, very good food. Great variety and flavorful. They will spice it up for you over and above their "spicy" listing. Owners are very friendly. Not sure why the others had problems. I think they are first rate and would recommend them to anyone.

Fresh, great tasting food. We live in Hampshire and order from here at least once a month, and it's the go-to place in town when we can't decide where to go. Everything we have ordered has been excellent. The owners are friendly and take pride in the food they serve and in the cleanliness of the restaurant. There aren't many tables and the business is mostly takeout, but it's OK to sit down and eat for lunch or very casual dinner.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
