Route 66 memorabilia fills the walls and heightens your visit to this Route 66 icon. The place is friendly, and we had wonderful service. I was very impressed that the cook was flexible and made me a vegetarian pony shoe (a dish that is local to this part of Illinois). But words fail me when I try to describe how delightful the cherry pie was.

I ate here in September 2015. Well worth getting off the freeway. Decor is absolutely charming Route 66 themed. Has a small bar. Diner food. Simple menu but very tasty. Like eating at grandmas house. I recommend.

We stopped on a whim while driving and were glad we did. We expected the food to be good from the fact that the parking lot was full and we were not disappointed.

I thought we were doomed, having missed the exit for Edwardsville, where most of the restaurants were. I'm really happy we did, as this place was a welcomed hidden gem! It's got a great bar, and is super cute decorated in Route 66 decor. Has TVs, a couple of games and coin machines fun. We all got the burgers and were pleased with them. Good sized, even the kids. I got sweet potato fries and they were tasty. I would highly recommend!

Awesome find:) Found on Yelp while driving by. Great staff and great food! Lots of history in this place:) Must stop in and give it a try! There is a map for tourists to pin where they are from and tons of old photos from the beginning. Highly Recommend:)

We LOVE Weezy's! Great bar food with a twist. The dynamite sticks are a must and the pretzel bun burger is great! Our service has always been great too!

Friendly people! We moved to the area a couple months ago and decided to try Weezy's. The bartender was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The food is a tad bit overpriced and the portions are ok. But I like supporting local family businesses and the food is always good. The buffalo chicken wrap is my favorite. We love going here for lunch. If you're passing through Hamel, you should give the place a try. They have specials every day.
