Stripmall Chinese food at its worst. Nothing remarkable, dining room is dingy. Do not recommend this place.

Great fried rice and excellent egg rolls. Finest hot and sour soup. Chicken and broccoli is excellent but a little heavy on the gravy.

We've been going to Henry Yee's for years. Despite the fact it's located in a strip mall, don't let the looks of the place fool you. The food is terrific. Much better than other places in the area. Awesome egg rolls and appetizers. Beef Chop Suey is delicious. Highly recommended - don't listen to the naysayers on this site.

This place used to be very good. Stopped for lunch and it was horrible. Over salted spicy chicken, 99% vegetables, no hot mustard offered for the egg roll. I will never eat here again.

Popular wth long time locals who had no basis for comparison for a long time and think this is as good as it gets. Ordinary Chinese fare with slightly above market pricing. They haven't adjusted to the fat that they aren't the only game in town.

I went here for a light dinner. I went in and ordered carry out. It is a tiny restaurant in a strip mall that definitely does most, if not all, their business through carry out. I would not really want to dine in... it is pretty run down looking inside with people walking in on cell phones to pick up their carry out orders. I only ordered the Hot and Sour Soup and Crab Rangoon. The Crab Rangoon was pretty good, but I have had better. The Hot and Sour Soup was just plain disappointing. Not very friendly service.Since I was bringing my dinner with me, I asked the lady for napkins and she handed me one flimsy napkin... really... you can only spare one!? I don't think I will be returning...

WORST Chinese ever!!! Let me first say: I love Chinese food and I'm not a particular eater by any means. However, this is by far one of the worst places I've ever eaten. 1) The service is terrible and they ignore you. When I entered, I thought it was closed because it took several minutes to show their face, turn on the musak, and seat me. 2) They are very cheap - for example, I asked for napkins and they give me 1 single ply and this was just one example. 3) Lo mein is a staple of Chinese food and you can tell a good restaurant by the type of noodles they use. Well, their noodles are the cheapest kind. 4) The meat is horrible - even worse than the usual processed meat at most Chinese places. It was so un-edible that I could not finish it and I eat almost everything. Bottom line: if the food was not processed, it would probably make you sick and If the kitchen looked like the bathroom, it should be shut down for health violations. AVOID this place at all costs to your health.

My favorite restaurant! I personally enjoy the cantonese style chow fun and the crab meat rangoons. I get it every time I'm there! It is comfort food to me. The restaurant is small, but cozy. It is a family owned restaurant so I have been getting their food there for years! They also do carry out as well. I opt out for that when I'm feeling lazy. Nothing fancy, but just good enough for me.

If I could put zero stars I would. Went in for lunch and on the menu it said shrimp, and boneless chicken on the menu as the lunch combo. The entire dish came out fried it never said anything about it being fried on the menu. Absolutely garbage. If you are going to have a restaurant you need to put a description on the menu of how things are prepared. Will not return ....

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
