Eat their chicken. Just do it. It's perfect for soaking up all the soju you just consumed. Or if you're not there yet, you can grab some craft beer to go with your chicken. You won't regret it. You might regret other things, but not the chicken.

I love Korean fusion bar food, and BDG has it nailed! Kimchi tots with pork is a great snack to share. The pork is a little sweet and farty, and the acidity of the kimchi balances it out well while the cheese sauce gives pairs well with the other textures of the food. Beer selection is decent, but id recommend getting soju drinks too. Overall, this place is great, but i think it will be even better in the future.

Latest KBar hot spot. Not only that but it's a KBar amped up a notch. Yes it's got soju for days, including mixed soju and the usual Hite & OB. But they have about 8 Revolution Brewery beers to pick from, too. Rev has my heart so BDG quickly went after it, as well. Plus they have tasty food options! It's more of a Korean fusion type menu than the normal Korean bars with things like fried chicken (korean style, 'course), tacos, kimchi tater tots and sweet potato fries. While I was there on a Saturday, the place was jumpin'. You'll see the OGs and your old friends plus will probably meet some new people with the open atmosphere of the joint. Packed booths and bar, plus they brought out a beer pong table. A friend of mine told me they do beer pong competitions, too. I don't know how I caught on to the BDG train so late, but I'm all in now.

I went here was high hopes since I heard it was the former owners of Noraeshigae and Ssaboo. I'm regret to report the recipes seemed to have changed. Their prior infamous duhk bokki and dtong dak are not the same. Some positives. They have great service and an increased beer and cocktail selection. On Friday night (which is the only night I've gone), they have beer pong and it's a fun place to hang out for 20-something year olds.

The service here is excellent. I felt comfortable and relaxed from the first visit. The food is phenomenal! It's the kind of food that makes you well up with tears because you were taken on an unexpected journey to that magical time in your life when grandmas cooked special meals just for you. It's a fun atmosphere, but you can always find a quiet corner. I love sitting at the bar. The bartenders are hilarious and cute! It's one of my favorite places.

Total last minute decision tonight to try this place. We live 5 min away n always looking for new, creative n delish Korean food. Mistake #1 No sitter so we ordered takeout. Since we live so close I thought we could pull it off but it didn't work out that way. Mistake #2 My husband went there and ordered...all fried foods. Sweet potato fries, loaded kimchi tater tots and the tong dak (whole fried chicken). Said a 15 min wait. No biggy. But it was obvious the fries n tots were ready first n sitting while the chicken was finishing up. They were totally cold by the time it made it home but the chicken was still piping hot. Cold fries are not tasty, but I could tell they may have been good if it was hot...eaten there. Love kimchi, love tater tots, love cheese but all together??? It was just wrong. I'm not sure it would have tasted any better even if it wasn't soggy. The kimchi was really fermented (too sour) n looked like the scraps that's left at the bottom of your kimchi jar once you've eaten all the good stuff. There was not one piece of kimchi on top of the tots. Just a bunch of red mush. And that cheese wiz was not a good combo with the kimchi mush. The tong dak I think is their signature/specialty dish, right?? It was piping hot but very dry. Thought they fry the whole chicken then cut it into pcs. But not the case. They cut it into pcs...many small little pcs) then fry it so there were no juices left in the chicken. If they pulled out the chicken when the fries n tots were done i think the chicken was salvageable. Heck maybe then all of it would have been perfectly good! BUT I'M NOT WRITING THIS PLACE OFF JUST YET!! Definitely need to get a sitter and go check out the place. Wanted to check out their menu to see what we could order that would be ok for takeout but couldn't find one on-line and they don't have takeout menus there either. Now I know why. So for now one star cuz it's really close to home and another for creativity. Excited to revise my review with more stars!!! Hopefully soon!!

Sports? Gastropub? Wait.. what? Whatever... I've been a fan since it was called Morehshigae (hourglass) located in old Koreatown and the food has gotten better with each location/name change. This one is by far the best version of everything... except the name maybe... but who cares. I wish they called it something super crazy like SabooShigae Sportsbar, Gastropub and Grill.... or just simply K-POP BAR. It's cheesy but hey... they can call it whatever they want and the people will still flock in. I'm also glad they kept the medieval knight armor. It's no longer in the front but in the hallway in the back that leads you to the bathrooms. Original tong-dak is still just as good as ever... oh and they have these loaded tator tots that has everything your heart attack desires. Just don't take a picture of it cause it looks like a dirty diaper if you snap a picture of it in the wrong angle or something. Oh... and their gogumah fries. Thought I was gonna hate it but ended up loving it. Thanks for coming back!

Decided to stop by on New Years day since it was one of few places open. The staff working were very courteous and accommodating. The location is clean and neat with an interesting layout. Great for large and small parties! There were drink specials for their soju and mixed drinks (not sure if this was for the holidays). The fully loaded tator tots woth pork are a must have and very filling. Worth the trip.

Such an awesome bar! The staff is awesome and they make the best drinks! If you can't drink strong alcohol like myself, I would recommend the blueberry cocktail soju! So delicious and sweet. I also recommend the wings, kimchee pancake! The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is awesome. You really can't go wrong with this place.
