Taco Pizza always a favorite! I like the new location, the bar etc...I moved away from Galesburg years ago but when I come to visit family, Happy Joes is a MUST!

Terrible service. Messed up our order. Over charged for items clearly listed as a certain price on both the menu and website. Then when the over charge brought to attention of server, she said, "I'll go get my manager." Did said manager come over? No. Came back with 3 bucks off the bill and explained to us how WE were wrong... well, why does your menu and website support our view of the price then? The salads were almost all wilted hearts so pretty much ate the 4 grape tomatoes with dressing and onions. Ooh.. my piece of garlic bread was ok.. but sent the pasta back since it was made wrong.. this many screw ups at one table of 2 adults and one kid? Manager should have come over to discuss instead of sending back the same server who told your customers they were wrong! NEVER again.

Good service and nice atmosphere - okay pizza with no salad bar and paying extra for ice cream.

We LOVE HJs (both my husband and I worked at one while in high school).....this location is at the bottom of the barrel. I guess it is a good thing they are closing this location and moving to another one. Hopefully, it is in better shape than the current location. Still love he pizza, but it is hard to get past the dirty tables ( ALL of them needed to be cleaned and I had to go ask for something to clean ours off). The gal that rang me up actually said "Wow, that's expensive"....not sure that's the bar thing to say to a customer. Anyway, will give the new ovations chance the next time we drive through town and hope it is much improved.

Got a panini with veggies, needless to say didn't eat it. It was on sub sandwich bread, slapped with pesto sauce, soggy, and really unappetizing looking. But, employees were extremely nice!

Went for the lunch buffet. Waited 30 minutes for any pizza to come out to the buffet and once it did it was cold. Very disappointing! Only saw 2 employees working. Hope things get better when they move to their new location, otherwise I don't see them lasting long.

I love Happy Joes food. I worked at one for a few years. This location needs HELP! Dirty ripped carpet, last night's salad bar scrapings still in the tray, restroom smelled literally like an outhouse. Half our food was brought out 5 minutes before the other half with no explanation or excuse.

Dirty, all the kids games in the back were really old and broken. My kids didn't care though. Pizza was fair, don't bother

Lets be honest, if you don't know this place, go there NOW! My only regret is that this is 45 minutes from my house. The original taco pizza was born by this small chain and it is still the best there is. All others miss the mark and can't touch it. Get the supreme taco and ask they put the sour cream on for you, you wont regret it. This location is great for families as it has a game room, and large dining area. In addition they serve a lunch buffet thats good and always includes taco pizza. But any one of their pizzas from the Nacho Joe to a plain cheese and pepperoni are great. Now heres the rub: this is one of those places that doesnt sell their product cheap. They sell a premium product and charge a premium price. A large Supreme Taco will set you back about $20. But when you taste it you will know where that money went.

Taco mutha fu**ing pizza!! Know it, love it. This is by far the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Grew up in the dirty burg and it's been around since then. Taco chips, refried beans, lettuce, tomato and magic from the heavens above make this pizza the bomb diggity!

It is rare to find a pizza place that serves Canadian Bacon and Sauerkraut pizza. The staff made one at my request and placed it on the buffet line.Love that pizza!

Happy Joes has the best pizza in Galesburg! It doesn't come cheap however. Their prices are a little on the high side, but so is their quality. Good fresh ingredients, inventive and unusual specialty pizzas, and a huge dining room put Happy Joes in the top 10 restaurants in Galesburg. If you have kids, this is a great place to have a birthday party. They've been in Galesburg since I was a kid and I've always liked their food. Their taco pizza is hands down the best thing on the menu. Second choice would be the BLT pizza. The location is right next door to Hungry Hobo which is another great Galesburg restaurant. I'd make a special trip to Galesburg just to visit these 2 staples of Galesburg.

HAPPY JOES! It has games and all that, which was the best when I was young. I remember liking the Taco Pizza. A lot.
