Lip smacking good bbq turkey tips and turkey ribs. Essentially taking healthier turkey loading it up with sweet sauce and fries. It tastes great. Turkey burger rocked too. Very friendly helpful staff at counter. Everything is finished to order. It ain't Thanksgiving but it is good stuff.

Their turkey dishes are so spicy and tasty, they don't even taste like turkey--they taste much better! The jerk burger and tips are truly awesome!! Limited seating so I mostly do takeout.

Great food! And a decent price, I ordered tips and link. Tips were very good... Just slightly , barely a little dry but still juicy. The link was huge, I saved it for my next nights dinner. The one thing that made this very good though was the sauce, very very good. Spicy enough to give a kick but not uncomfortable at all. Sauce was probably the best I had tasted.

A friend of mine recommended that I eat at Just Turkey. I went last night with two friends and the food was fantastic! I can't believe that everything was turkey. I had the turkey wreck and jerk turkey tips. Everything was great. It was the best sub/sandwich I have ever had!!! This place is awesome. I can't wait to try something else

Turkey is my new best friend. LOL! I was never a lover of turkey after a bad Thanks Giving meal some years ago. A girlfriend of mine introduced me to "turkey ham" and that mess is delicious. You can find that in the deli section of your grocer but not everyone carries it. But this place right here JUST TURKEY is "da bomb" the food is out of this world and didn't think that TURKEY could taste this great! LOL It's a small store, with maybe 3 -4 tables and chairs and a couple of bar stools. A real fast food joint, but everything on their menu is JUST TURKEY :-) I had the jerk turkey and man oh man was it delicious. That meat is well seasoned and the flavors are finger licking good. Their presentation with the food was also very good and the cashier/host was the most friendliest thing I have ever seen. She even invited us to come back if we had the time before we left, as we were there for the Avon for Breast Cancer Walk. Unfortunately we didn't. If ever you are in Chicago, PLEASE go visit. They do have a couple other locations but we went to the one in Evanston. Thank you for having us and I am sure we will be back again. I wish that you guys delivered. LOL!

Bought a Groupon based on Yelp reviews and headed out to Evanston. It's a strange location overlooking the gas station, and very sparse inside. But for carry out, it's totally worth a stop. Loved the Italian turkey sandwich (sliced thin and pretty spicy - like a Chicago style Italian beef). Turkey burgers were really good, too. One star off for the weird ambiance, and no fountain drinks - just cans.

Went here last night and ordered a large tip. Tips were tasty, however there were barely any fries in the bottom of the container and there was only one slice of bread! For it to be a "large" order, it certainly was very skimpy. I honestly think there were about 12 fries total. Wish there were more because they were so good. I'd definitely give this place more stars if they weren't so shy with their helpings. More fries and 2 slices of bread with your tips Just Turkey and you will win me over!!

I picked up lunch here a few weeks ago for Mom and I. We shared the turkey tips and the turkey lasagna. I really liked both of them, though mom thought the tips were a bit bland. She did love the lasagna . I will absolutely come back to pick up lunch again. We both want to try the turkey burgers. The store is new and therefore was quite clean and fresh looking. It is a nice addition to the area.

We have been here twice now and I wish we had tried it sooner. Excellent food and great service! The burgers and lasagna are awesome and my daughter loves the turkey corn dogs. And really great desserts!

Stopped for gas and decided to try it out. Glad I did! Burger was juicy and fresh, fries were crispy and hot. The place is small but cozy and the chick behind the chick behind the counter was cool. Will be back to try the turkey tacos.

I've eaten here several times and I haven't been disappointed. Great food and good service. I like the fact that the turkey tips are in nice size pieces that don't have fat on them and are easy to chew. I can also appreciate that even though the fries are at the bottom they aren't drowning in oily sauce that turns one off from wanting to eat them like your average bbq spot. There's a variety of other things such as burgers, links, lasagna, tacos (which I haven't tried yet), etc. If you haven't tried the place and you're looking for an alternative to pork and red meat I recommend checking it out.

Nice little spot for something different. Really clean inside. Bathrooms are well maintained. Ordered the original turkey burger with cheese and fries. The burger was really good but the fries are the reason I would come back.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN EVANSTON HANDS DOWN! I love coming here for lunch. I am yet to have tried anything on the menu that didn't taste amazing and the prices are reasonable. The staff is extremely professional and the service is excellent. Personally, I place a premium on businesses that hire locally. Not only is the owner from the area, most, if not all, of the staff are too! Great food, I highly recommend it.

Checked out Just Turkey last night and it was Just Great! I ordered the small rib tips and my son ordered the jerk burger and hot link. Everything was delicious so much so that as soon as we finished eating he looked over the menu to decide what he would try on his next visit. My only disappointment was size. I would have liked more tips for the $8.50 price tag and we older birds (no pun intended) would appreciate a larger font size on the menu.

My previous review was in error. Eventhough it looks like the Evanston Just Turkey restaurant is connected to YELP, the Owner/Manager called me to assure that YELP should not be taking orders for EVANSTON store. How about this.....I'll stick to using Grub Hub.....No errors there!!!! YELP....You need to Check-Yo-Self!!!! Long live JUST TURKEY!!!!

I have been here several times and I must say that the food is very good. The last I had was a spinach turkey wrap. The ingredients are fresh, and they don't use iceberg lettuce, they use the real green lettuce which is more healthier. They only have 1 size soda but they offer free refills which makes up for the 1 size only. Everything is ala carte. They don't have meal deals for 1 price. I give it 4 stars for 2 reasons. Of the many times that I have come here there has been at least twice where they ran out of supplies, which if you think about it is a good thing. The second reason is I have noticed inconsistencies in the preparation of 1 of the sandwiches I get. I ordered barbecue turkey wrap and the first time the meat was all covered in sauce. The 2nd time sauce was drizzled inside the wrap and the meat was not covered in barbacue. This should not deter though from visiting this great establishment This establishment is small, seating for 14. They have a small selection of deserts, and they also have a customer loyalty card.
