I live just under a mile from the store, and ordered a sandwich for delivery (work from home), and had to wait an hour and a half for the driver to arrive with a soggy sandwich. Called and spoke with the General Manager who was completely unapologetic and refused to compensate with a coupon for next visit, or comping my meal, instead saying "all I can do is send a different driver out with another sandwich", and "we no longer advertise our service as being Freaky Fast". Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, nor will I recommend that anyone else order from this location.

The food was ok, but kinda low on the topings. The staff is horrible. I walk in and about 5 people are standing at the counter bullshitting around. They also dont wear hair nets or hats so it was kinda gross to see them around the open containers of fresh veggies on their counter. Not going there again ill go across the street to subway.

Don't have any issue with the food. It was typically good Jimmy John's food. My comment refers to the staff. My team was performing detailed audits of operational activities in multiple cities around the state. We're not paid by the hour so we're focused on the tasks at hand... I've come to laugh at the clearly uneasy facial expressions I receive when visiting towns around the great state of Illinois and this visit was no exception. "No, I'm not going to harm you. No, I'm not going to rape you. No, I'm not going to beat you" - Funny Vibe, Living Colours. 'nuff said....

This Jimmy Johns deserves its low rating. The sandwiches are always short on ingredients and slopped together like someone is in a very big hurry. Even worse, the vegetables are never ripe and of questionable quality; tomatoes should not be crunchy and lettuce is supposed to be green, not white. Finally, accessing the store is really inconvenient.

I ordered an unwich veggie sandwich, I was at school and had it delivered. The service was great and fast, but when I unwrapped the sandwich there was a alive bug wrapped up in my sandwich... Disgusting! I usually love jimmy johns but this really made me want to take a break.

I've ordered from here before. The first few times was great; however, since then the quality/timing has become poor. For example, it took an hour for delivery today. None of our drinks were correct and the meat on my roast beef sandwich could not be chewed. I'm seriously thinking this may be my last time ordering from there.

I love Jimmy John's but will not visit this location again. The first visit a month ago was "eh". The quality of sandwiches we received was not the best. Thought it was an off day for them so my husband tried again last week. He went by the drive thru and when he got back to work he opened his sandwich to find only meat... nothing else on the sandwich! I'm not sure what he paid $8 for. I called the store to speak with someone about it and get him an actual sandwich and was told the manager would call me back which of course never happened. They easily could have said sorry, come by and pick up a new sandwich. 1 star for quality and service.

I've eaten at several Jimmy Johns over the last few years & love their Veggie "Unwich". I go to physical therapy in the unit next to this Jimmy Johns next to Otter Creek Shopping Center, in Elgin, so was there 2-3 times per week. I had ordered there before with no problem but one day I ordered extra avocado on my veggie unwich. I picked it up, took it home & started eating. Well, there was not even enough avocado there even if I hadn't paid for extra. You could hardly tell there was avocado in it at all. I thought, "Well, I'll be right next door day after tomorrow for PT; I'll tell them when I order my next sandwich. So, two days later I walk in to order sandwiches, tell them about what happened with the avocado last time, and ask if they can put it on this unwich and not charge me again. They asked if I had called the day I'd ordered the sandwich & I responded that since I came every other day, I didn't go to the hassle to look up their phone number and call. They said that since I hadn't called the day it happened there was nothing they could do. I said, "But I paid for it and didn't get it." The manager said too bad. I didn't buy a sandwich then, though my husband did. But neither of us has been back in the 6 weeks since and don't plan on ever going back. And I was a 2 x per week customer. If that's JJ's official policy, I probably won't go back to any JJs again. They may have gotten a few cents (whatever it cost me) but they lost a frequent and loyal customer. So, if you happen to patronize this location, be sure to check your sandwich before leaving if you order anything extra. OH... and take their phone number.
