Those who are familiar with frozen yogurt know that Red Mango is typically the standard by which all other froyo is judged. Their frozen yogurt is always creamy and strong in flavor without being overbearing. Their toppings are always fresh and leaning towards the healthier options like fresh fruit and nuts. Unlike some of the earlier Red Mango locations, this is a self-serve so you can make your own froyo masterpieces! Definitely a great addition to the Deer Park Town Center.
The very RARE first visit FIVE star review, just freakin orgasmic...RED MANGO! Another Please, MORE, Don't, stop, Don't Stop. Ok, I sometimes wonder WHY I wait to try a Sherwin recommendation, I'm not a stalker anymore. Clean, samples, dietary info, probiotics, fruit without milk or soy, CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER, DARK Chocolate, nuts, gummies, sprinkles... WHAT are you waiting for?
Classic froyo! but could be a little less expensive and a little more yogurt flavor variety (like yogurtland in Arlington Heights) for my complete satisfaction and admiration.

My boyfriend and I went here to have a intimate, delicious dinner. I had not been here in maybe 4 years, but my sister and her husband go here ritually. We started with the lobster tail appetizer which was great! And then, it went downhill. We order some blue margherita-- NOT worth your time. Pretty much just pineapple juice from a can, and maybe a hint of Triple Sec. I ordered a chicken salad-- without dressing( they have NO non-dairy options for dressing for those that are lactose intolerent). A salad from a place like here should be great, right? What I got worse than a McDonalds restaurant. Pretty much an iceberg lettuce bunch, with some carrots. I had to ask someone who was not our server to bring me balsamic and vinegarette(after our server insulted us!!) And then, my boyfriend, who is actually a chef, started to eat his Prime rib. He gave it a 2 on a 1-10 scale. It was shocking how much of a disappointment this restaurant was. We both gave it 2 stars for the Lobster tail.
Excellent decor, service, and food...and we don't even partake of their steak(s). Just went this afternoon, had the horseradish-crusted grouper. Wow. I'm out of my Stoney River burger rut, though I thoroughly enjoyed it. As has been said, save a few of their doughnut-esque rolls for dessert. Bet you can't.
Service: Amazing! Our server was so friendly, helpful and quick on the refills!!! I love great service! Food: I had the 12 oz Legendary Filet and it was perfect! Price: I spent HALF of what I spent at Morton's and it was quicker service, friendlier service, and much better food! I haven't had a great steak in a long time. For the price and quality I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The sushi is here is great. The rolls are awesome and have been expanded to include some pretty unique roll ingredients. My wife and I were pretty spoiled with incredible sushi in downtown Chicago for a few years, so we needed to find a place that could take the Pepsi challenge of sushi. Tokio Sake fits right in near the top. We have been eating here since they opened in 2008. The wait staff is sometimes not the quality you see in a white linen table cloth establishment. I come here for the sushi, not to make friends with the staff as other reviewers seem to be looking for.
Decided to check this place out on a Thursday after an afternoon movie with a friend. Loved all the beauyiful dark wood decor. I had a wonderful glass of the 2012 Mason Sauvignon Blanc which went perfectly with the sashimi combo. The combo had 3 LARGE pieces each of several different fish plus a couple of surf clams which I had never tried before. I am now a surf clam devotee! My friend enjoyed the miso soup that came with my combo and she shared her cucumber salad, which was nicely crispy and tart. My meal came to $50 with tax and generous tip for our excellent server. I wish my husband liked sushi so I could visit Tokio more often but I will definitely be back with the girls!
Classy place with delicious food and great service. I had a special menu item, the Korean Bulgogi. It was served over rice and had shredded carrots mixed in... at first I was unsure of this combo, having never seen it prepared this way, but after tasting it I was pleasantly surprised at the mixture of textures and flavors. My co-worker had the dragon roll, which was visually stunning and full of flavor. The prices are on the high side, but not unreasonable. I will come back again to try more sushi and hope that I can update my review to 5 stars!

I come here often; close to home and food is consistently good. I sat down at the bar, ordered my usual drink and decided to get a quick app before departing with a bunch of food. Ok, let me describe the fried ravioli. Some would think square dip in marina etc. These were delicious. Amazingly delicious. Crunchy pockets of cheese and spinach filled pastries in a light cheesy Alfredo like sauce. Almost like a Italian-style Japanese dumpling. I housed them, which is why my pic only has one left! Tonight I ordered the pizza, made in a stone oven and Lasagna. I originally gave this place 4 stars, just because 5 to me mean exceptional, but I changed it to 5 because the food here is THAT good. Being the kids-great kids menu or sit at the bar yourself. Whatever your pleasure, just EAT HERE!!
I've been here about a thousand times, even held my wedding rehearsal dinner in their wine room, but have never written a review. I've seen some lackluster responses here which surprise me, so I want to give a different perspective. Frankly, I love this place. There's one waitress (I forget her name or I'd post it) that I try to avoid because she's not the greatest, but other than that I've lost count of how many times their service and servers have impressed me. They're attentive without being intrusive, quick, and eager to please. My mom walks with a cane and the hosts always try to find her the closest spot available to minimize her walking. I appreciate that. My diet has changed over the years so my favorites have changed and now I'm more focused on their healthier entrees. Stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and had the 410-calorie filet mignon off the "lighter" menu and I'm telling you it was delicious. Cooked perfectly rare, as I requested, on a bed of roasted root vegetables. Fresh, hearty and satisfying without the heaviness. Thumbs up. They had a tasty pinot noir as well, and the torrontes wine I sampled from my lunch partner was just fantastic. I'd go back just for a glass of that.
Just had dinner here and really enjoyed it I had the lasagna which very tasty my wife had a shrimp , calamari. And scallop pasta dish which she said was delicious. She got a half partition which was just enough. We also split a salad which was great I would recommend. I also though the cost was reasonable

Cold Stone Creamery

Reviews:
Okay, so yes Cold Stone is a chain and it's in a lot of places but it's still yummy and worth a review. This specific location is usually busy in the summertime so if you're coming on a week night when there's tons of people and kids, be prepared to wait a little bit. They allow you to sample whichever flavor you would like prior to ordering which is nice but I always stick to my usual that I've been ordering for about ten years which is my cake batter with marshmallows. It's simple, all white and tasty. Here's what I'm not a fan of Cold Stone is their prices. $4 or $5 for a small is a lot in my opinion and you don't get that much and it's technically called a like it. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling like a lot of ice cream, I get the kids size which is like $3.50 and that may or may not fulfill my craving for that day. So to be safe, and to get your moneys worth it's actually better to get there love it size which is like a medium in other ice cream shops. They also have the gotta have it which is the large and that's a little too much for me unless you're sharing with someone, but Cold Stone ice cream, because it's really fatty and high in calories, melts super fast, so I don't like that I have to feel rushed while eating it even if I'm sitting inside in an AC room. Because if you go outside in 90 degree Chicago heat, you can predict your ice cream to be melted in about 3 minutes and then you have white looking sweet milk. So yes, cake batter is definitely my favorite flavor but I also like sweet cream, cheesecake and chocolate cake batter. They have tons of mix ins if you want to spice things up but like I said your bill will quickly add up here. The last couple of times we went, the people working weren't super friendly but I think that if I was serving up scoops of ice cream all day everyday, I wouldn't be my usual peachy self. Overall, Cold Stone is okay, it's not my favorite but I go at least once a year when I'm in the area and I get that craving. Plus, it's on a nice plaza to go shopping after you get your ice cream fix.
This location is tucked away in the back of a shopping mall. We were in the mood for some ice cream, so we sought the place out, but I think the location leaves a lot to be desired. Anyhow, the ice cream was good, but the chocolate waffle cone I had seemed a tad stale. I ended up eating the ice cream and leaving the cone. Service was friendly and the store was clean and bright.
The night shift was not the nicest. One of the workers just gave us an evil glare and stood there, didn't even take our order, just stood there.. When we walked in their faces dropped, they obviously didn't want us to be there. Also, they messed up our orders and gave us the wrong size, but on the good side the ice cream was delicious.

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Some good Mexican restaurants are usually hole in the wall places but this restaurant is very big & very nice. They spent a lot of money making sure that the place looks nice & has some very good decor. I have been coming here for years & have never had a horrible experience. The chips & salsa here are always very good. Depending on what dish you order your meal comes with a soup & the soup has always been good as well. I have had a waiter a few times who has been a little rude & not the most helpful but for the bulk of my visits here I have had good service. They do have a nice outside dining area that is very nice in the summer especially at night. Overall the restaurant is very big & is very nice. The service here for the most part has been good & the food is delicious. I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.
Food is just ok Not impressive but the wait staff is grand! Sat in the outside garden, very buggy
This place is so yummy it hurts my soul!!!!!!! For some reason it is really difficult to find great mexican food in chicago and La Hacienda De Los Fernandez has answered my Mexico related prayers. The tacos are the bomb dot com both in the soft and hard shell variety. I also felt like they had the perfect amount of spice. Some places can cook everything with hot hot spices which is hard for some people (aka me) to handle. But then they actually have a special hot salsa that you can ask for so if you wanted to kick it up a notch you can. The only thing i wasn't a fan of was the Taco Soup thing that you get before your entree comes out. The concept of Taco Soup in my mind sounded awesome but in reality is just soggy tortillas. Drinks are excellent too!!!! Another great thing to look out for is all of their awesome drink specials!!
