First stop here... I'm always a little nervous when I'm asked to seat myself. Today we sat down and within 3 min had a server asking for our drink order and offering either the menu or the buffet. My husband had the bacon and blue burger. 1/2 lb + patty with lots of bacon and cheese. The fries are lightly battered but think cut and perfect. I tried the buffet ( I couldn't decide what I wanted). Fried chicken .... Really good, real mashed potatoes and chicken n dumplings to die for !!! Really enjoyed the meal and the best part was that nothing was too salty! So often mass produced food is a mix and super salty . Today was PERFECT !!

My family and I ate dinner here tonight and were not disappointed. The food on the buffet looked terrific, and my son loved the fried chicken. I had the Philly steak sandwich which was very good. We ordered the loaded fries as an appetizer - awesomeness on a plate!! The atmosphere is casul, and the staff exceeded expectations as more than one server asked if we needed anything. Great meal, great service!!

I laughed out loud at the last review ... Good grade for wi-fi? My son and I waited 45 min for cold eggs and bacon. We did get to drink flat soda during the excruciating wait. But yeah, they did have free wi-fi.

Nice informal atmosphere, buffet had several sides in addition to BBQ pork steak, meatballs, and 2 types of chicken. Rolls and special butters were delicious!

Best place for Breakfast!!! I see a lot of nationwide reviews, so I am assuming a lot of 'Grand American Event' travelers. Yes a name like Pistol City, is certain to cause any Shooting sportsman to take a look, and here is a local review, from someone living 20 miles south. The best sausage anywhere, I love it with a ham/cheddar omelet . Dinner is good, but we usually hit this up for breakfast. I seen many reviews say that sparta don't have anything good, and they are right. This is about as good as you can get in Northern Randolph County; pssst, look at Chester, IL if you want anything better, for the area

Great small town restaurant/bar. The food is good and the staff is great! I ordered some drinks and was very happy about the price of them. I also ordered the onion rings and chicken wings. The wings were spicy but not crazy hot. I would absolutly visit this place again when I'm in town.

They have free wireless internet in the land of rural dial up. That's enough to bring you in for the average salad bar and few edible entrees that won't cause you premature death by cardiovascular disease. I got a decent omelet here while passing through town.
