It's a dive. I don't know that you could sit through a Saturday evening here without the band playing at leats a couple of Lynyrd Skynyrd songs. It was surprisingly not too smoky, really, and the band was pretty good at cranking out Creedence. The cast of characters was what made the place: Willie Nelson Impersonator with seveal important teeth missing; Big lesbian checking out the hot bartender; Obvious pervert (which vice we can thankfully only speculate) wearing a T-Shirt that says "Whee! I like Vagina!"; Dorky owner who is obviously a techie of some sort and does NOT know his way around the bar (to the consternation of said hot bartender); Bass player 40 years out of 'Nam... Long hair, tattoos, whiskey shots al around. Everybody was here for fun. Although we were pretty out of place, we never felt uncomfortable. Stop in for a beer or whiskey if you like dive bars. You'll probably have a few laughs.
