10/10 burgers
The blood marys...wow. Huge, amazing, and tasty. What a great bar!
Great burgers!! I don't like that you have to wait on yourself! There's no way to let you know that you have to wait on yourself so you might sit at a table thinking you're OK and no one will approach you to let you know that they have no waitresses that you need to go up to the bar and wait on yourself!

Boy, this is Good Pizza. The wife wanted to stop here for dinner, so I obliged. This is your usual bar-cum-pizza / pasta place, so it's got a "bar-ry" atmosphere. With that said, the service was good, and the pizza was very good. If you order your pizza with everything like we did, be prepared for a loaded pizza - like every square inch was loaded. The Italian sausage was very good, and the pepperoni was tasty as well. Add in the veggies and the snappy sauce, and you have a really good pizza. Try it out.
Bad pizza under cooked! Customer service not very good don't listen to when you have problems make excuses for them self . Have great bread but that's about it
GREAT FOOD - HORRIBLE WAIT TIME. I have been there several times, but I've stopped dining in and just order take out. The food never disappoints and I've tried too many things to list. The deep dish pizza is the best around. However, I've never been in and out of there in under 90 minutes. I don't know what the problem is - but it is one of the slowest places I've been to.

Hands down the best pizzeria in the Coal City-Braidwood-Wilmington-Diamond area that doesn't come from a gas station. Beware if you order the Geo's Nuggets (aka a sauceless pizza with pizza sauce on the side for dipping). They're pretty addictive, and you may find yourself eating into an oblivion. The pizza is tasty as well. My 'za order is pretty basic with your classic cheese and pepperoni combo, and it's executed just fine. Long story short: Choose Geo's if you don't want to travel to Kankakee, Joliet, or Morris.
I will upgrade my past review to a 3 star review since the owner has contacted me about a replacement meal. Will update as needed after we order.
Best pizza! The crust was crunchy! Not greasy or overcooked. Just the right amount of cheese. My brother will only eat the pizza from Geo's; he's very picky. So we ordered. I was expecting a blah dinner, but was very surprised with the product. We ordered the vegetable pizza. It was delivered on time and they took my card number over the phone. My mom likes the pizza too. All around great experience for a Friday movie night!

Sandwiches are ok, but the pizza is fair at best.
very pricey for the quality of food. I had the a seafood pasta dish and it was like greasy soup with noodles and a couple shrimp. I didn't eat anything but the shrimp and told the waitress it wasn't good and too oily. she told me it was oil based sauce...really?! there were puddles of oil in the pasta....gross! my husband told manager and manager just gave my husband attitude and didn't even offer to take dish off our receipt! my husband called him a jack hole and we left. never going back there.
Good place, nice ambience, sort of a classier pizza place than Rachetti's. I think their pizza is better but La Piazza is pretty good and a better place to dine in. Solid Italian choices, good service.

Food and service used to be top notch a few years ago. Unfortunately, things have changed in the last year. Went there on one occasion and stood by the host station and no one greeted us, even though we could see the line cook. Went there during Lent for the fish fry. Was told that Guinness was on tap, which sounded great after a long day. Was informed that beer was not available. Ordered a Bud Light Platinum and waitress brought a Bud Light stating that the Platinum was out as well. Ordered the fish fry and was told that they were out of baked potatoes and twice-baked potatoes, so we both asked for fries. Meal took a long time to deliver to the table and we had to watch the regulars get seated after us and served before us. The host actually sat with them during their meal. Food was delivered and we received mash potatoes as opposed to the fries we ordered. We ate the food, which wasn't worth the wait. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.
Gippers II is a decent place to stop if you have nowhere better to be. The bar attracts a country crowd or workers getting off shift from the nuclear plant. There are four pool tables, a couple of arcade machines, a horseshoe bar, space for tables, space for some dancing, and a spot for a DJ. The waitresses and bartenders are nice and friendly, and the beer is cold. Just don't expect to order anything complex. One night a week (maybe Wednesday) there is Karaoke. On the weekends, there is a pretty big crowd and a good DJ. The food is OK, but in the summer the bar tends to have a lot of flies.
We have gone to this place several times for a family dinner, but only in the summer. The last time we went there was last summer and the food was great. We did our first dinner trip there tonight and what a mess. They advertised a new chef, well they should have kept the old one. The meal my wife loved last year was total crap drenched in margarine. My daughter complained about her chicken fingers and I looked at them and thought they looked good until I went to taste and realized they were breaded and fried with leftover fish batter and oil. Really nasty. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was edible but nothing to mention. Seems the best food was the Pizza bread that my son ordered. As stated, the food is crap, but, if you want a nice place to go drinking this may be your spot. They do have a really fantastic outdoor bar that looks great and is well put together. It is way better than the inside bar. If I were 20 years younger, this would be my drinking establishment but I would not consider for any good food. If the owner reads this, I would come there every weekend in the summer if the food did not really stink.
