I love wendys dave hot and jucy sandwich so i ordered it. They have very stale food its not fresh at all. I told cashier easy on salt in fries but i guess he forgot to tell and my fries was cold and super salty. And the sandwich was cold dry. This is the worst place ever.

I don't make fun of many people or places but I just have to tell you about what just happened to us at this Wendy's drive-thru. For all the people who work the drive-thru, take heed to this message: You may not always be able to hear us but we can hear you clearly. The initial greeting was courteous. Jason placed his usual order for one Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The girl couldn't hear him so she repeated it back wrong. Thank goodness drive-thru employees are taught to confirm your order. She didn't give us our total or tell us to pull up to her window. Instead, she began having a conversation with a co-worker swearing this and that. Nothing about us, it was definitely a personal conversation she thought she was having discreetly. We were just like WTH? When we pulled up to the window, she was plesant and acted like nothing was out of the ordinary (because she had no clue, which made us laugh a little). When she told us the total was less than $2 I knew right away she put in the wrong order. She made the corrections, charged the right amount and Jason got what he wanted. He couldn't resist not telling her that we overheard her and promised he wouldn't tell. Of course, I would never promise such a thing. It was funny, not something a teenager should get in trouble for. I'm sure we all do dumb things in front of clients and not realize it. I just happen to like writing about funny incidents on yelp to make things more interesting. Besides, I didn't do it!

Not as bad as it could have been. Other than the fact that my order total was "fourteen, teeeean" it was just like the Wendy's I know and love. Oh, and a number 10 with bbq sauce and a diet, the first logical question she asked was, "what sauce would you like with that".... So not the sharpest tool in the shed, just sharp enough to serve me some chicken nuggets.

Wow did they have awful chicken nuggets. I don't know if Wendy's chicken nuggets all suck, or if this place did something wrong. But I was drunk and starving, and yet these were so awful I couldn't eat them. The spicy chicken wrap is no where near as good as the spicy chicken sandwich. I guess they want to encourage people to buy the more expensive one. I love the spicy chicken sandwich, but that wrap was terrible. I should have stuck with my normal spicy chicken sandwich and a frosty!

I absolutely hate it when I have a frosty craving- because this is the closest wendy's to my house. The staff just sucks, they are rude, and obviously hate their life (if I worked at Wendy's I would too). Just dont go there- there is a McDonald's down the street, which is A LITTLE better.

Arrived at 2:13 am upon placing my order for a number two + a large fry for my gf the employee taking the order tried ringing up a number one multiple times vs a number 2 for some reason. She was very short, failed at a welcome to Wendy's, rude and lazy. We pulled up to the window and there was a group of employees just standing around. We went to pay and noticed she neglected to add the large fry to the order then we also asked about any dessert items available and was told "we don't have none we about to close soon" (they close at 3am). We payed the 2.75 for the other large fry and instantly our order was ready. When receiving the order the burger was cold and the fries were very undercooked to the point of still tasting frozen. With witnessing the attitude of the employee we decided not to go back through and have the items made correctly. We will never ever return to this location ever again unless it's totally re staffed. This is one of the Wendy's that makes Dave Thomas tear from the heavens. Highly not recommended for your fast food needs!!!! I may even think the garbage can tried spitting it back at me when throwing the waste of time and money they call food from Wendy's away.

My bf got really sick from this place... He got 2 jr bacon cheeseburgers, nuggets, and fries on Sunday night. It's now Wednesday and he's still sick. I ordered a strawberry salad (mediocre, but it's Wendy's) and fries and came away unscathed. The lady at the cash register was very nice, but one of the cooks/kitchen workers looked and sounded very much like she needed an occupation change. When cooks don't look happy at a restaurant, it makes me nervous.

I return to this location time and time again for the Community Fund Night but wow, I have to say the staff are terribly rude. No smile, no welcome. It is also ONE staff again for a very long line. I also found out that they have not kept their promise of giving 15% proceed to the organization I was trying to support-- SINCE last year-- not a single check. Why do the organization and visitors keep coming back here then?? Something is terribly wrong. By the way, their restrooms? Oh my. No matter how badly I had to use it after eating two of their burgers, I stayed very far away from the restroom. There's no one cleaning them.

In the past, visiting Wendy's had always been a true delight. Unfortunatley, this specific location had some of the worst customer service and food that I have ever experienced. The Wendy's urge hit us on an early Saturday evening, so we headed out to the location on Western, near Lane Tech High School. This location is an old school Wendy's and looks like it hasn't been refurnished in years. The restaurant was nearly empty, but had a full compliment of young staff working behind the counter. I stepped up to the register, only to be told, "wait, I'll be right back" by the employee. A few minuets later, the kid comes back to the register to take my order. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff were gossiping, arguing and yelling at each other, while preparing food. I was ready to leave at this point but really wanted a burger and Frosty. After waiting 10 more minuets, the same employee that took my order, hands my food over to two girls. The girls then take my food, walk over to their table and put their hands all over the burgers. Realizing they didn't have the right food, the girls return the food back to the register. Not only are the burgers and fries now cold, they have been touched by strangers. The employee then hands me the contaminated food and says, " here is your order". I wasn't in the mood for arguing and just took the cold food over to our table. Right about then a female employee screams across the restaurant from behind the counter, " Hey, we gave you the wrong fries too!" She could have simply walked her lazy self from behind the register and handed us the correct order. I took one bite of the burger...Gross! I just couldn't finish it. Normally, I really love going to Wendy's every now and then. I will never visit this location again. The people who work here are rude, absent minded and just not very pleasant. There are plenty of other Wendys in the city, so I won't be back here again.

Tried to go through the drive-thru last week around 8 pm. What a nightmare! They were so horrible that I gave up after 5 minutes into the ordering process, leaving the drive-thru line and going someplace else. I repeated my order four - yes four times -- twice to the first girl who just seemed distracted and then to a nasty piece of work who sounded manager-ish who was just downright mean (she was yelling at the first girl to take a break or relieve somebody else or something). Manager-wench still only got about half of it right on the screen and then basically refused to listen or add my last item. I'll take my money elsewhere thanks. And it's not like I'm asking them to make something crazy. I'm ordering off their menu! It should not take 5 minutes to try to order 2 plain cheeseburgers and a fish sandwich. It just shouldn't.

I am writing this review after the third time in a row that this establishment has messed up my order then refused to correct it. Tonight I ordered 4 of the $1 nuggets and apparently the cashier/order taker took that as one package containing 4 nuggets. Also, when the nuggets were being ordered I noticed that she hit bbq sauce instead of the honey mustard i requested, when i corrected her, she snapped back that she got it. upon receiving my food I noticed that she gave me BBQ sauce. Seriously WTF Wendy's. This place is not even worth visiting for a random late night drunken snack.

Well, most of these reviews are pretty accurate. The woman who took our order gave us the worst service I have ever received in my life. The exchange went as follows: Me: "Can I have two small fries, a small chocolate frosty, a medium chocolate frosty..." Angry lady: "Okay, next window" ... Me: "Actually I want more things... can I have a crispy chicken sandwich.." Angry lady: "That completes your order. Next window." No exaggeration necessary. And our frosties were half way full so we asked to have them filled to the top and she referenced "corporate" being responsible for their strict frosty filling policy. "It's not us, it's corporate!" You've got to be fucking kidding me, lady. How is she still employed? Never again will I go here.

Avoid this place at all costs. The staff is THE WORST!!!! The last time i was there we ordered a couple jr bacon cheeseburgers and nuggets(a seemingly normal order) we were asked to pull up to a parking spot and wait. Understandable if anyone was behind us but alas there was not. In the 10 minutes we waited an orkin man was pounding on the door demanding to be let in. Wendy's is my favorite fast food chain...the only one I will eat at out of choice instead of sheer hunger induced desperation. That said... yesterday I was on my way home from work and decided to grab a quick meal because I hadn't ate much and was now starving. Was hoping that this location would be okay since CPS were on spring break and wouldn't be filled with loud high students. Well the students weren't there but they had been replaced by loud and shrieking workers. I stood in line for a really long time while the staff chatted, laughed, hugged each other and did everything but pay attention to their jobs. I finally left because at the pace the manager was setting for her crew I could still be there waiting. Sorry Wendy's....corporate has to someday clean up this location. I can only think that they rely on the Lane Tech lunch crowds and don't care about the rest of the day.

This was my first and last time to this Wendy's. The women who took our order was extremely rude, and got our order wrong. The food they gave us was horrible. The chicken nuggets I got were hard as a rock, and they were mixed spicy and regular. We didn't get the salad dressing we asked for twice. The chili was cold and just nasty. I am utterly horrified that this place is still open. This place needs to be shut down!

Drive through orders perpetually messed up, it is filthy at all hours with ravenous and surly Lane Tech students and, worst of all, nearly impossible to escape from whether North or South bound on Western. I realize that my rating (and opinion) goes against the greater trend, but my experiences have been alright. I'll can agree on points of compentency at times; I've witnessed manager-questioning myself. (I found it to be humorous.) Every time I've dealt with them, it may have been pained, but they were polite. Almost an out-of-the-way polite, which is more than I can say of other fast food locales. The food has been consistently good, and other than the windowed area being chilly almost to the point of me calling it drafty (which it isn't- I didn't feel any breezes,) I just can't complain. I wish everyone's experience was more pleasant, but...

Never go to this Wendy's unless you want cold chicken nuggets loosely floating around the bag with an empty upside-down cardboard container, half-wrapped sandwiches so that cheese and grease get all over everything, and meat that has the texture and temperature of beef jerky fresh out of the bag. Seriously this Wendy's is terrible. I usually love Wendy's but this place brings fast-food to a new low.

3 stars may seem generous for a Wendy's, and this review is based mainly on their breakfast, and the fact that's it's 1/2 a block from my house. I don't love fast food, however the staff inside at this particular Wendy's are quick and nice. The drive thru however is awful and they always eff up every order. I'm not sure how they manage that.

F****ing BZnatch manager in the drive-thru screams at me with a funky attitude over the intercome before I even get to the window,"please have your $$ ready for faster service." Not really a problem since there is noone else in line so I move to the window as fast as I can. Sorry if I cannot drive and pull out $3.23 at the same time. I didn't wear my 3rd arm today, lady. When I get to the window I decide to take my time getting the EXXXACT change for the irritation she has caused me and then she has the nerve to scream out the window over the poor girl who is taking the money out of my hand. The BZNATCh says, 'Now didn't I tell you to have your money ready when you got to the window?' Sorry, you F_ING cunt. I don't work for you. If I want to give you exact change, that is exactly what I am going to do. GOT IT. My fries were colder than a dead persons' finger tips and the hamburgers most definitely had fallen on the floor a couple of times. Good thing I scrapped them and if I didn't have somewhere to be I would have gone in and punched that 'manager' in her stank-ass attitude. I am glad I didn't go back in there because I most surely would have been arrested for assault. I have never been spoken to like that and not smacked someone for it.

This is FAST food??? I don't THINK so honey! Everytime I go to this Wendy's (or ANY Wendy's) I am usually there a good 20 minutes before I get out of there with my food. Half the time they are out of the salad I want so I have to spend an extra few minutes figuring out what else I can get which makes for a sad Countess :(. And I will agree with everyone else who has reviewed here that the drive-thru service sucks with a capital SUCK. Is it so damn hard to remember to give me exactly what I ordered on the receipt? Realizing they didn't have the right food, the girls return the food back to the register. Not only are the burgers and fries now cold, they have been touched by strangers. The employee then hands me the contaminated food and says, " here is your order". I wasn't in the mood for arguing and just took the cold food over to our table. Right about then a female employee screams across the restaurant from behind the counter, " Hey, we gave you the wrong fries too!" She could have simply walked her lazy self from behind the register and handed us the correct order. I took one bite of the burger...Gross! I just couldn't finish it. Normally, I really love going to Wendy's every now and then. I will never visit this location again. The people who work here are rude, absent minded and just not very pleasant. There are plenty of other Wendys in the city, so I won't be back here again.

Tried to go through the drive-thru last week around 8 pm. What a nightmare! They were so horrible that I gave up after 5 minutes into the ordering process, leaving the drive-thru line and going someplace else. I repeated my order four - yes four times -- twice to the first girl who just seemed distracted and then to a nasty piece of work who sounded manager-ish who was just downright mean (she was yelling at the first girl to take a break or relieve somebody else or something). Manager-wench still only got about half of it right on the screen and then basically refused to listen or add my last item. I'll take my money elsewhere thanks. And it's not like I'm asking them to make something crazy. I'm ordering off their menu! It should not take 5 minutes to try to order 2 plain cheeseburgers and a fish sandwich. It just shouldn't.

I am writing this review after the third time in a row that this establishment has messed up my order then refused to correct it. Tonight I ordered 4 of the $1 nuggets and apparently the cashier/order taker took that as one package containing 4 nuggets. Also, when the nuggets were being ordered I noticed that she hit bbq sauce instead of the honey mustard i requested, when i corrected her, she snapped back that she got it. upon receiving my food I noticed that she gave me BBQ sauce. Seriously WTF Wendy's. This place is not even worth visiting for a random late night drunken snack.

Well, most of these reviews are pretty accurate. The woman who took our order gave us the worst service I have ever received in my life. The exchange went as follows: Me: "Can I have two small fries, a small chocolate frosty, a medium chocolate frosty..." Angry lady: "Okay, next window" ... Me: "Actually I want more things... can I have a crispy chicken sandwich.." Angry lady: "That completes your order. Next window." No exaggeration necessary. And our frosties were half way full so we asked to have them filled to the top and she referenced "corporate" being responsible for their strict frosty filling policy. "It's not us, it's corporate!" You've got to be fucking kidding me, lady. How is she still employed? Never again will I go here.

Avoid this place at all costs. The staff is THE WORST!!!! The last time i was there we ordered a couple jr bacon cheeseburgers and nuggets(a seemingly normal order) we were asked to pull up to a parking spot and wait. Understandable if anyone was behind us but alas there was not. In the 10 minutes we waited an orkin man was pounding on the door demanding to be let in. If we hadn't already paid we would have been long gone. This place is horrible, it's worth the trip to another wendy's

Wendy's is my favorite fast food chain...the only one I will eat at out of choice instead of sheer hunger induced desperation. That said... yesterday I was on my way home from work and decided to grab a quick meal because I hadn't ate much and was now starving. Was hoping that this location would be okay since CPS were on spring break and wouldn't be filled with loud high students. Well the students weren't there but they had been replaced by loud and shrieking workers. I stood in line for a really long time while the staff chatted, laughed, hugged each other and did everything but pay attention to their jobs. I finally left because at the pace the manager was setting for her crew I could still be there waiting. Sorry Wendy's....corporate has to someday clean up this location. I can only think that they rely on the Lane Tech lunch crowds and don't care about the rest of the day.

This was my first and last time to this Wendy's. The women who took our order was extremely rude, and got our order wrong. The food they gave us was horrible. The chicken nuggets I got were hard as a rock, and they were mixed spicy and regular. We didn't get the salad dressing we asked for twice. The chili was cold and just nasty. I am utterly horrified that this place is still open. This place needs to be shut down!

yikes!!! just keep driving! avoid this location at all costs!!!!! staff is rude! they catch an attitude when asking for time to order...and if you ask for a minute make sure you'll be ready to order in a minute because the person in drive-thru will be asking you what do you want to order... food was cold...cheese wasn't melted... for my baked potato i was given butter in opened packages!! gross! disgusting! i wish yelp was able to provide the option of not awarding any stars to an establishment...how can you write an honest review without being 100% honest within your review?? so here is to me being honest: zero stars!!

Why does this Wendy's have to be so freaking complicated? Drive through orders perpetually messed up, it is filthy at all hours with ravenous and surly Lane Tech students and, worst of all, nearly impossible to escape from whether North or South bound on Western. You had better have one serious Frosty craving before you come here ~ this Wendy's thinks you're it's bitch. True story.

I realize that my rating (and opinion) goes against the greater trend, but my experiences have been alright. I'll can agree on points of compentency at times; I've witnessed manager-questioning myself. (I found it to be humorous.) Every time I've dealt with them, it may have been pained, but they were polite. Almost an out-of-the-way polite, which is more than I can say of other fast food locales. The food has been consistently good, and other than the windowed area being chilly almost to the point of me calling it drafty (which it isn't- I didn't feel any breezes,) I just can't complain. I wish everyone's experience was more pleasant, but...

Horrible. Unless you're a student at Lane Tech, avoid this Wendy's like a debt collector. Too many other better options than to be caught eating here. It's a shame too since Wendy's, when done right, can be really good. Deserves zero stars.

Never go to this Wendy's unless you want cold chicken nuggets loosely floating around the bag with an empty upside-down cardboard container, half-wrapped sandwiches so that cheese and grease get all over everything, and meat that has the texture and temperature of beef jerky fresh out of the bag. Seriously this Wendy's is terrible. I usually love Wendy's but this place brings fast-food to a new low.

3 stars may seem generous for a Wendy's, and this review is based mainly on their breakfast, and the fact that's it's 1/2 a block from my house. I don't love fast food, however the staff inside at this particular Wendy's are quick and nice. The drive thru however is awful and they always eff up every order. I'm not sure how they manage that.

F****ing BZnatch manager in the drive-thru screams at me with a funky attitude over the intercome before I even get to the window,"please have your $$ ready for faster service." Not really a problem since there is noone else in line so I move to the window as fast as I can. Sorry if I cannot drive and pull out $3.23 at the same time. I didn't wear my 3rd arm today, lady. When I get to the window I decide to take my time getting the EXXXACT change for the irritation she has caused me and then she has the nerve to scream out the window over the poor girl who is taking the money out of my hand. The BZNATCh says, 'Now didn't I tell you to have your money ready when you got to the window?' Sorry, you F_ING cunt. I don't work for you. If I want to give you exact change, that is exactly what I am going to do. GOT IT. My fries were colder than a dead persons' finger tips and the hamburgers most definitely had fallen on the floor a couple of times. Good thing I scrapped them and if I didn't have somewhere to be I would have gone in and punched that 'manager' in her stank-ass attitude. I am glad I didn't go back in there because I most surely would have been arrested for assault. I have never been spoken to like that and not smacked someone for it.

Reasons for my one-star review: -They have screwed up my order (especially in the drive-thru) so many times I can't count. -It's always crowded with Lane Tech students. -It's usually FREEZING in there. -90% of the time I have to clean off a table to sit at. -It's only Wendy's, when it's crappy just avoid it-it's nothing special.

This is FAST food??? I don't THINK so honey! Everytime I go to this Wendy's (or ANY Wendy's) I am usually there a good 20 minutes before I get out of there with my food. Half the time they are out of the salad I want so I have to spend an extra few minutes figuring out what else I can get which makes for a sad Countess :(. And I will agree with everyone else who has reviewed here that the drive-thru service sucks with a capital SUCK. Is it so damn hard to remember to give me exactly what I ordered on the receipt? That's WHEN I get the receipt *sigh*. Three stars for it being: 1) Walking distance from my house 2) Reasonably friendly, but slow staff 3) Tasty salads and cheap ass dollar menu items P.S. I seriously LOL'ed at whoever voted for "Formal (Jacket Required)" attire.
