Delivery was incredibly fast, driver was friendly. We ordered wings and cheese fries. Had this been a normal Sunday of beer and football I might have thought the food was decent. The wings looked like nothing that has come off any chicken I've seen and we're dry and over cooked. The cheese for the fries had no flavor at all. Definitely will not order again.

Delivery took 1hour and 20 minutes - after they said 45 minutes. Also, we live 10 minutes away. Wings were some of the nastiest looking wings I've ever seen. And although I didn't even want to try them, I did and they were as bad as they looked. Pizza is fine, and Pizzarito is good. Cheese fries were fine. Overall, we probably won't order from here again.

Came in here on NYE. I was craving fries, and jumbo shrimp when I was at the Walgreens across the street. I am not going to say the food was superb, but it hits the spot for those heavy craving days. It is family owned, so you can tell that everyone works together. My boyfriend got the mostaccioli, with sausage. The sauce tasted very plain, I assume it was canned, warmed, and tossed. We shrugged and kept eating.

Normally they are awesome, but I just ordered a gyro and it had not a drop of cucumber sauce, and the meat is burned, I'm really sad :(

Its hard to find a fast food pizza joint with good slices. This place does it well. I believe there slices are called slicer crust. kinda of a hybrid slice between thin crust and pan. So if your in a rush and have a craving for a good slice of pizza this is the go to place.

I was craving garlic bread so badly for the past 48 hours that I couldn't help but search for a place that delivered to get my fix. I was a block away so I opted for carry out. I logged onto GrubHub, placed my order for garlic bread and mozzarella sticks (I know I'm a fatty), and made my short trip over to pick up my food. The restaurant is right across the street from Walgreens on the intersection of Lawrance Ave and Pulaski Ave. The people working inside were super friendly and quick. I picked up my food and rushed home to induldge. That's where the story takes a twist. First off, I was disappointed with the garlic bread. It was literally french bread cut in half with butter and what seemed like garlic powder slapped on. It wasn't even covering the whole piece of bread, most of it was left uncovered. Let me tell you, I wasn't a happy camper because I didn't get my fix. The mozzarella sticks were ok, very heavy though. I know foods like this tend to be on the heavier side, but this was heavy from the oil they fry it in. I felt sick afterwards. I won't go back for the garlic bread for sure, but maybe i'll the the pizza if I get a random craving.

We were celebrating Mom's special day with Chinese food from her favorite restaurant and Dad made some other home made favorites like ribs and fish. I wanted to add to the equation but I was working late that day so I decided to stop at Vini's which was on the way home from work. Vini's has been on my radar since I started my new route to and from work along Lawrence Avenue specifically to avoid the speed cameras on Foster Avenue where I could easily be caught going over the uncommon city speed of 30 mph as required over there. I think the plus about this new route is that I've found a new pizza place to go to. I noticed the "$19.95: 20" one-topping pizza and 10- buffalo wings" special on the window. I looked up their menu online and found a vast menu of your typical fast food pizza shop fare. I ordered one pepperoni, and one spinach pizza and was surprised at how much of a difference a couple of inches made. Compared to most pizza places I go to, it's rare to find 20" pizzas, at most places 16"-18" is usually the norm for a large. When I finally made it to the party everyone had already got their fill of all the food there, saying how they began to doubt that I was coming with the promised pizza. Although full, they were still tempted to eat the pizza and they loved it. You know it had to be good if they still loved the pizza on full stomachs. These two large pizza's were practically gone by the end of the party! Everyone wanted to know where the mysterious pizzas that came in plain huge brown boxes were from. I was pleased with the simple thin crust pizza, which had a pleasant texture where you weren't fighting a chewy tough crust for a change. The containers of tender chicken wings that came with each order was nice too. I chose one hot and one bbq, I didn't know which I preferred more--each was uniquely tasty. This place offered such a deal, quality food, and I should mention friendly quality service as well. I called the pizza order ahead of time and told them what time I'd be there. When I arrived to pleasant smiling faces, I was told to wait a few minutes, as I observed they were just sliding the pizzas out of the oven. I was happy to present piping hot pizza at the party! I know I'll be back for their $19.95 deal, maybe one day I'll even splurge on one of their specialty pizzas. I also know Vini's is going to have a few new customers from the guests at the party too.

This is the kind of thin (not medium) crust pizza that makes Chicago iconic. Nice salty cheese, perfectly cooked. The crust had that great grainy consistency with some little black dots on the bottom. On Mondays a 14" pizza is $12 including tax. Proper pizza!

Solid for delivery. 3.5 stars. Had a deep dish with pineapple and pepperoni, which to my surprise, the pineapple were cooked beneath the sauce, making it gooier than normal. Crust not on par with Lou Malnati's butter crust but the ingredients used in the tomato and base were excellent. Thin crust with spinach and green peppers ordered. To me this was the more successful of the two pies. Both arrived well packaged and hot, which I appreciated but did take about 30 minutes longer than grubhub anticipated, even only being a mile from the destination. This is not a huge problem per se, but perhaps grubhub should work out a time bump feature with the restaurant for deep dish if they haven't already. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for a party again. But the pizza connoisseur might want to stick to a Pequod's or Lou's or within the deep Chicago field.

I try to give smaller restaurants business, but this dive is the reason I DON'T!! I ordered a gyro meal, and my sister ordered a cheeseburger meal. Not only was my gyro meat overcooked, but they butchered my sisters order! To top it off, there were roaches congregating in the ceiling!!! This restaurant has slow traffic, now I know why.

We order the grub hub delivery the other night. The driver was the nicest guy very friendly & helpful ensuring I had all the food secure in the arms so I didn't drop it. The pizza was cheese it was fine the sauce was kind of to sweet for us but crust was good & they didn't skip on the cheese. We also order the lasagna which was on special it came with fresh bread the portion was huge & again plenty cheese. The sauce was very sweet. I guess it preference some might like sweet sauce or possibly they put to much sugar when making the sauce this night. Overall decent food with good specials. I would probably give 3 but since the driver was so amazing bump it to 4 stars.

Not a good first impression at all. I ordered the fried chicken meal and the skin on it was hard as a rock. I'm not sure if they put too much flour on it or I'd they just cooked it too long. The garlic bread had some over toasted parts and others drenched in butter. I'll adjust my review if the pizza is decent in the future.

Very reliable and tasty 'za. My wife and I go crazy for the cheese and crust utilized by this little neighborhood place. It's nice to have the option of a quick slice - which always seems fresh, btw, in addition to a whole pie. Friendly staff and they're pretty quick in cooking your meal. Check em out if you're over by Albany Park.

Vini's is a cozy little neighborhood place offering an inclusive umbrella of fast food staples beyond pizza. I've enjoyed everything I've gotten from there, but by far, my favorite is the deep-fried Panzerotti. It's pretty much their version of a calzone, but holy balls, is it delicious! Your clogged arteries will ask you to enjoy these treats sparingly, but regardless, I'd recommend starting there and branching out to other options.

Vini's is my go-to GrubHub pizza joint. While I have sampled their pizza and found it enjoyable, the true treat on their menu is the Pizzarito. It's somewhere in between a calzone and a pizzafied version of a burrito, and the value is phenomenal. I consistently find myself getting two meals out of the thing (and it reheats surprisingly well), although I did tackle one in its entirety on one occasion. Delivery has always been fast, affordable, and the food is always hot. I've had several bad experiences with other Italian eateries on GH, but I must say I've never been disappointed by Vini's. Carryout is also recommended - one time they goofed my order and greatly discounted my meal with no argument. A really great establishment that probably doesn't get the credit it deserves. Check it out.

Bacon. When you order a meat lover's pizza, usually you'll get a pie stacked with pepperoni, sausage, maybe some bacon or ham. Here at Vini's Pizza, they will load this pie up with bacon the way you'd do it if you were making your own pizza. Every bite of pie is crisp and topped off with a bodacious layer of bacon. I ordered delivery via GrubHub so I wouldn't have to make any phone calls and the delivery came 10 minutes earlier than the projected time. I got coupons all day and bacon pizza because seriously this wipes out the taste of anything else on this pizza and I am fine with it!

Perfectly good neighborhood pizza joint. I ordered delivery via Grub Hub a half hour before they closed, and my food arrived 10 minutes earlier than the promised time! Nothing fancy, just thin crust pepperoni pizza, onion rings, and jalapeno poppers. It all came up to scratch. The poppers are stuffed with cheddar cheese instead of the more common cream cheese, so I was excited since this is my preference. The only oddity is that the poppers were served with marinara instead of the usual ranch, but I won't hold that against them because I could have very easily requested a substitution. The pizza was hot with generous and evenly-distributed toppings with an excellent cheese-to-sauce ratio. This will be our new go-to place.

It's cheap! It's greasy! It's good! You can get a huge slice of pizza, fries, and a can of pop for 5 bones.

What a terrible waste of money. We ordered a bacon double cheese burger, gyro and large cheese fries with two cans of pop. The gyro was the worst gyro I have ever had in my life. I've never seen a gyro with char marks on it before but I guess it's not that uncommon from what i've heard. What really grossed me out though was the flavor. It was so charred that's all I could taste was burnt meat. Not yummy. I was told the burger was good enough, although it seemed like a frozen patty. The veggies were fresh but the meat was pretty flavorless. The bacon was undercooked and way too chewy. The fries were hardly warm and ten minutes into us eating, they were cold. I'm so pissed we wasted our money on this crap. The only real good thing about them was the cheese for the fries and the veggies. This is Chicago, where the hell can I find a good gyro?!

In fairness to the restaurant, I never got to actually taste my pizza. I attempted to order delivery and was met with incomprehensible employees. They didn't not know where North Clark street was (a major street in Chicago) and repeatedly extended the amount of time it would take for me to get my food. It started out as 20 minutes and eventually was over an hour before I finally cancelled the order. No thanks, I'll call Dominos.

3.5 Stars. After being shut out (ignored) at Maries Pizza down the street, hubby and I walked in here last Friday night. Just like their location in LP, you can opt for a slice instead of the whole pizza. I think it was approximately $6 for 2 slices, which also comes with 2 cans of soda. Decent stuff, generous slices, and a friendly staff. When in the mood for some quick slices to go, I'd definitely consider returning to Vinis.

So far, this is my new favorite thin crust delivery pizza place in my new hood. for me, it's all about how good the sauce is. it's not too herby, not too sweet. it's perfect! delivery has been quick the last 2 times i ordered too.

I'm born in raised in Albany Park, and I have to say, this is by far the BEST tasting Italian food in the neighborhood. Price is great, everything is made fresh to order, and they are pretty quick with their turnaround. I always order take out or delivery. Try ANY of their pizza's, you can't go wrong. Now if you go there to get other food, know what you are ordering. Most of their sandwiches are decent, but why on earth would anyone get a burgers, dogs, or gyros here, is beyond me. It's a pizza joint. Stick with that, you can't go wrong. Their Italian beefs are epic, I recommend their BUBBA BEEF sandwich, simply UNFUCKWITABLE, yes, that is how I feel, and I support that statement. Another good value they have if you have to feed a group of 3 - 5 is their 20" pizza special with wings, for $20/tax. Comes with one topping and the wings aren't bad. They also cater, I had a last minute get together and they were able to help me out with a one day notice. And I fed a group of 20 for a great price. Oh yeah, and if you are a fan of DEEP DISH, search no more, way better than yer typical Chicago joints, you'll see. If you live in the area, do take out or delivery. Enjoy!

This is our new go to pizza place. The food is excellent. We always get an order of wings- they're a good size and the BBQ sauce is great (Note: I'm a Buffalo native, so it's hard to get a good wing review out of me). We've tried several different pizzas and they've all been top notch. Our most recent order included a pan pizza with spinach, ricotta, garlic, and sausage. I'm drooling as I type this When I think about moving to a different neighborhood, I think about how much I'll miss Vini's. We love you!

Really good food. Ordered a baked Pizzarotti with green pepper, onion and bacon and an order of hot wings. The Pizzarotti is a monstrous calzone, at half the price of a large pizza. Ours was cooked perfectly with a brown, crispy crust. The inside was oozing with finely chopped bacon, diced onions, thinly sliced green pepper strips, house marinara and cheese. If I knew how big this thing was going to be, I would have invited a few friends over. Ginormous! The guy at the counter said he likes the Pizzaritto better. I can't wait to try that next time!
