This is the greasy delicious Chinese I've been waiting for -- the go-to kind you crave when you're hungover or just need a cheap fix. We've tried a couple others in the area but this is by far the best. The General Tso Chicken is awesome! Not date night material but definitely great takeout for a movie night.

Korean beef rice bowl is so good. Really tasty and fresh. Their daily special is cheap but delicious. Love the vegetable egg rolls. Def come back again!

I agree with Lexie and John O. here. For what it is, this place is awesome. My boyfriend and I went here the other night and were so pumped to see it had it's own parking lot and that it wasn't busy at all. We were the only people that dined in but there were at least three or four other take-out orders while we were there. It's very hidden so I assume that's why. We got bubble teas, both were good. The crab rangoons were hot and pretty huge, and we got hot pots too which were also tasty. I can't really complain!

This place is amazing in entirety. The food is delicious, the place is great and the smoothies are the BEST. So far I have only had three appetizers but they all were great. I've gotten a handful of smoothies though and they are always amazing. The tapioca is perfect really, the best tapioca I've had. Although the place doesn't seem too appealing from the outside, when you step in you will be shocked. It is a beautiful restaurant to dine in with fantastic art and impressive restrooms. Also, my god, open till 3am every day, that's is just wonderful for the night owl in me and my late night cravings. I would recommend the place to every person I know. Edit: ok the food is awesome as well. I especially love the pad see ew & the basil fried rice! and they've got all day long specials which are just awesome when you're broke and need a filling meal.

Got my grubhub for pickup and they got it right. Food was nice. Little pricey but worth it

The service and delivery here is 5 stars. food is always warm and on time. Food is 4-3 stars. They are friendly and accommodate to special request. I ordered the Korean Beef Bowl with egg and extra carrots spicy on the side. The smoothies are best out of competitors in the area. Consistent and one of my asian go to's PLUS+ open late!

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I was very happy with what I ate! I ordered the good online and picked it up. When I got to the restaurant, my order was all ready! I noticed they even have their own little parking lot! I wonder if it gets full usually though. So I ordered the Korean BBQ ribs (which were not the best...they came in long strips that were a little hard to bite off. So it would be better if they cut it into smaller sizes), the Japanese tofu with mushroom (which was really good!!! I love how soft Japanese tofu is and I love those long mushrooms they put in. The sauce was also just right. Similar to the joy Yees dish actually), and the vegetable tofu soup (which was also really good!! It had broccoli, carrots, bak choi, onions, garlic, and tofu. I hope there wasn't MSG..not sure, but would love to know). I would def eat/order from here again. Not authentic asian food, but yummy nonetheless. Very similar to Joy Yees now that I think about it more..they also have bubble tea!

The food is awful. The Pad Thai is orange and has no flavor. Neither do the Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls, and Miso Soup. It was all terrible. Don't waste your money here.

Found the restaurant on Yelp. What? It was open on a Tuesday night after midnight. I was eating this late to propel my weight loss goal. Traveling to Chicago required an emergency meal. Check this out- I clicked on the menu, and placed an order right from the app., prepaid including the tip. Go Yelp! .30 mins later, I had a wonderful Lychee smoothie, stir fried veggies, and Mongolian (not szechuan) string beans. ALL delicious! Packaged perfectly. The free veggie egg rolls were no bueno, but they were free, so discarding them didn't hurt. If you're in Chi, and shopping for delivery online, DO IT, man!

We Grubhub the crap out of this place...it's good. For some reason a lot of Chinese restaurants have lackluster broccoli in garlic sauce, but Thee Asian Restaurant exceeded my expectations. The flavoring is good , the sauce is not too thin and not too thick, and the broccoli is always cooked perfectly. While delivery can take between 30-60 minutes, the food always arrives hot and tasty. But sometimes they have an off-night every so often.

Noodle Situation: Good. Previously I tried Thee for some late night Asian fare, and I was disappointed with the pad thai because of their choice of noodle. I'm happy to report that they're using narrow rice noodles now, but their pad thai is still not great. This is one of those places with a HUGE menu. They do all kinds of Asian food... Some better than others. This is definitely not a Thai restaurant of choice. However, their "American" Chinese food is very good. Crab rangoon, sesame chicken... Awesome. Their smoothies are awesome and have great (and properly prepared) tapioca. They lose one star for not being able to pull off all their menu items, but the food that is good deserves 4 stars. They also deliver until 5AM on weekdays. Awesome. 0 stars to the the fact that no Yelpers have made a "How do I love thee, let me count the ways" pun.

Hungry for well-prepared versions of your saucy Americanized Chinese favorites when you're drunk at 4:30AM on a Saturday? Or just jonesing for some quick, cheap grub when you're on the go? Meet Thee Asian Restaurant. I don't know what most of you people expect. This isn't Momofuku. Fast, delicious, and will definitely fill the void that hungers for General Tso's at an ungodly hour.

I'm confused about some of these other reviews. I think people were expecting this to be some high end place. This is a perfectly acceptable cheap take-out/delivery place. The food is good. Nothing spectacular, but that's not what I anticipated when I ordered from here. I order from here when I want some cheap, greasy Americanized Asian dishes. The best part? They are open until 5am on weekends and the food is ready in under 15 minutes. This is definitely my go-to drunken late night meal on a Friday or Saturday.

I don't write reviews, but considering how often I rely upon Thee Asian, I figured it's only fair I bump up the average. So, as any good Yelp snob may agree, seeing a restaurant with a 3 1/2 star average probably means, "negative Ghostrider". However, and I don't mean to argue that their food is world class 5 star level, given all factors, they are definitely one of the best Chinese/generic Asian restaurants out there. Most places like this, the best you can hope for is not to die of a sodium overdose or sudden instant diarrhea syndrome (SIDS). I can honestly say I've never gotten ill effects from this place. The menu is almost too varied, but the bubble teas/freezes are spot on, the beef cubes with tomato rice is delicious, hell, even their egg rolls and plain soups are good. In the end, a wise consumer must remember context; this is not Maxim's in Paris or Alinea here in Chicago. This is a quick, Asian, catch-all type joint. But it's a damn fine one.

The food I got from this restaurant was overall pretty terrible. We tried this restaurant based on some of the reviews but we immediately regretted it as soon as we tried the food. For entrees, my friend and I ordered the Pad-see-ew and the lemongrass chicken, shrimp and pork chop with rice. The pad-see-ew was completely tasteless which explained why they gave us six packets of soy sauce. The lemongrass chicken was nothing spectacular, the pork chop was extremely dry and tasteless but the shrimp was actually pretty decent. The shrimp alone would have earned the review three stars but was offset by the rest of the food. The rice box was simply that. There was probably 75-80% white rice with four pieces of shrimp, a pork chop and five pieces of chicken. We did get the free order of crab rangoons with the twenty dollar purchase which was good at first but then we realized that there was practically nothing inside them. The only thing keeping this review at two stars instead of one is the fact that the smoothies we ordered were made spot on. We ordered the honeydew smoothie and the lychee and mango smoothie which were both delicious. Overall, I personally definitely would not give more future business to this restaurant except maybe to pick up a smoothie.

There is an estimate that restaurants charge 4 times the original price for their ingredients. Based on my experiences cooking my own food, I know that the pork I had with my rice probably didn't cost more than $.50. Thee Asian is apparently standard Americanized Chinese food. So I should expect the food to make me sick afterwards, but if the cost of the ingredients don't even seem to add up to 1/4 the price I am paying for, I don't think I should ever get food from this place again. That said, if you are ever too hungry to cook anything, this place has really fast delivery.

I'm pretty sure this place just opened, and hopefully they'll be here to stay! Stopped in last night for take-out, and the place was totally empty. Made me wonder what I was getting into. After eating, I'm pretty sure I've got a new favorite. The Mongolian Beef was fantastic, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the flavor was just great. My buddy had Thai Red Curry Shrimp, and loved it. They have quite a variety too, lots of things I've never heard of (and I love me some Asian food) but also all the Chinese place favorites. They also have a lunch special menu that runs $7-8, which I'm really looking forward to. I can't speak to the service or dining room because I did get Take-out, but the food was great and I'll absolutely be back.

Ordered at night through Eat24, got General Tao's's chicken with a large miso soup. General Tao's chicken was alright for a late night, but the miso soup was horrible. It barely had any flavor to it. Seemed like they filled half the container with water. It was truely flavorless. Miso soup is so hard to mess up. Thankfully I was able to contact Eat24 due to their 24/7 live chat support and received a full refund for the soup, because it was literally a large container of hot water with 6 pieces of tofu and 3 pieces of kelp that were sitting on the bottom of the container.

I looove this place! It's totally underrated. The food is amazing and not expensive at all. It is BYOB but I've never eaten in I've always taken it to go. I think the only negative is how empty it always is so I never want to stay and eat it feels awkward. I bet with a big group of friends It would be a blast though. Pot stickers and orange chicken are my favorite!!

We went here to celebrate a friends birthday. It was an awesome night. The menu is huge!! I wanted to try everything!!! We tried the crab rangoons, and they were delicious. Huge portions for the entrees and pricing was more than fair. Our server was wonderful. All the food was great. And we really enjoyed that it is BYOB!!

I've only ever ordered the thai red curry shrimp...because I'm infatuated with it...the rest of the menu is great too I'm sure, but, I compel you to order the thai red curry shrimp. Best in Chicago.

Thee opened right near my house in a spot that has been tough for other businesses to survive in. I'm hoping they make it because I ordered from there today and had a pretty good experience. Good things: - delivery was like 35 minutes earlier than the Grubhub estimate! yay! faster food! - cheap. i got enough food to feed a small army (or... me... for lunch. shame.) and the bill was much lower than expected. - tasty. my pad khe mao was great, my chow mein was great and so was my hot and sour soup. and my veggie potstickers... stop looking at me like that. i was hungry. Bad things: - my hot and sour soup came with unidentifiable meat in it. which is a shame because i happen to love hot and sour soup... and happen to dislike unidentifiable meat.

I haven't seen lemongrass selections in other area Asian restaurants. They paid attention to the details, which is something I appreciate in fast, delivery food. I can't wait to order some Korean selections!

  • M Y.

I'd give this place a 0 star but it won't let me so I will give one because they seemed like nice people. Probably the worst mapo tofu I've tasted.. tofu swimming in a corns tarchy sauce of MSG. Giant portions so if you're hungry and have lost the ability to taste things, by all means go. Korean Spicy Beef Soup... WTF was I thinking ordering it at a place owned by chinese ppl??? I blame myself for that one.

Egg drop soup was okay. General Tao chicken was awful. Soggy fried chicken with overly sweet sauce and over cooked vegetables. Will not be returning.

I can not believe that people gave this place more than one star. The food is not nasty, it is just plain. it has not flavors, It just has no taste. How can you cook food with no taste?

Awesome food and awesome service! I ordered online for delivery and my order showed up really fast, and the food was hot, as well as delicious! It was so good, I was gonna have it delivered again, but just happened to be in the area, and decided to eat in the restaurant. Loved the decor and atmosphere! Very clean too:) The staff is very friendly, and I would definitely go back again. They have awesome hours, more than reasonable prices, and love byob:) I highly recommend this place!!!

I almost gave it 5 stars, the ambiance kept it at 4. Really great quality food. I got the Vietnamese egg rolls which were delish (and you could tell the oil they were fried in was super fresh) and the Mongolian beef ( the beef was almost an 1/4" thick!). Very friendly and attentive staff too. Also if you go soon you 15% off because the just opened!

    (4)
  • Katie V.

Pad Thai is the worst I have ever had. Weird thick noodles, as others have noted, not the right flavor and instead of the usual ingredients, odd additions like mushrooms. Looks as unappetizing as it tastes. Basically inedible.

I'm not sure how Thee only has a 3.5 average. They have a parking lot! The food tastes fresh, great texture and flavors, and they have an enormous selection. Also, their tapioca smoothies are the best I've had. I think they take it easy with the sugar/corn syrup b/c I can actually taste fruit! If you've ever had Joy Yee's smoothies, which are one of the best, Thee's smoothies are better than that! The service is great - really. Steve, the only server we've had (I've been to Thee at least 7 or 8 times). He's very attentive and friendly! Our food is always served super quickly. The restaurant has been nearly empty every time we've been there. Though, I'm not sure why! I hope they stick around for a long time!

I am not usually a fan of Thai, but I AM a fan of Thee Asian Restaurant. A. It has parking. AWESOME. B. It's got a trendy but relaxed vibe inside C. If you request a dish to be spicy, you WILL get a spicy dish!! :) And i LOVE spice. Saw this on Groupon Now, went here on a date night with my boyfriend, and we had a great time. Check it out and enjoy!

Went for lunch today and ordered online for express Dine in. This was a great option as I have a limited amount of time for lunch. The Crab Rangoon was very tasty and crisp. I ordered the Sesame chicken and it was flavorful and good. This is not your typical Chinese place. Kinda fancy, huge portions and well made food. Check out their website it has a lot of great tools. They also gave me the 15% off grand opening price in house as it was not stated on the website.

I will never oder from this place again. The quality of food was terrible. My udon dish looked microwaved, (Dryed out, chewy unrecognizable meat bits) it smelled even worse than it looked. Even sriracha could not save this poor excuse... Dumplings were dry and old looking, crab rangoon was chewy and gross. Got the buddha dish, which is a veggie dish... shouldn't be too bad, right? Wrong, the 'light brown sauce' was thick, and dark brown, the vegetables had lost their color and were completely drowned. Boo.

Went there with a Groupon Now and was excited about the 4.5 stars. However, it fell a little short. First, their website has all sorts of misleading pictures- for example, sushi. I was really excited that as an "Asian" restaurant they would also have sushi- but they do NOT have sushi- bummer #1. The ambiance, as described by my boyfriend, "felt like a prison cafeteria". I laughed and agreed, but its not quite that bad. The music was also super terrible. I was expecting to hear some 1990s Whitney Houston come on at any moment. The service was prompt and they were nice- but almost overly attentive. Our entire meal, with appetizer, lasted about 25 min. The food was very ok- bland and uninspired. Disappointed by my first Korean bowl experience. Took leftovers home and just threw them out. What a waste. Overall, the experience was like fast food trying to be fancy. As a new restaurant and nice people running it, I wish them the best of luck and hope that they take these things into consideration to improve their business.

Just found a new favorite Asian restaurant in Wicker Park! Tried it out last night for dinner and was very impressed with the quality of the food, and the nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. As a side note my boyfriend was excited too because they had a TV off to the side that he could keep up with the football game. The three reasons I would recommend trying Thee is A) the food is incredible, we had japanese dumplings (great choice), the generals beef (kind of like general gaus and it was a huge portion, and the Korean Kimchi beef rice bowl this was phenomonal I will go back just to order this again. B) it was BYOB, and conviently if you forgot there is a wine store next door. C) the prices were great, our meal cost less that $23 and since they are new they gave us a %15 discount. Can't wait to go again and try their lunch specials and frozen drinks.

I've only gone here once but it was great. It's walking distance from my apartment and the food was awesome! The portions where huge from the amount you paid. I was so full by the time I left and still had a ton of leftovers.

  • James O.

Probably more in the 4 star range conservatively, but I wanted to give this place a boost. I just went there for lunch, and was the only customer in the entire place. Since it's right down the road from me, I thought I may as well give it a try. Being from NY, I am picky about chinese food and have typically not been impressed with Chicago's offerings in the past. This place was great! Really good hot and sour soup, good egg roll, and solid orange chicken and rice (not to mention a HUGE portion). All in all, I got probably 2 meals worth of really good chinese food for a little over $6, which is pretty hard to beat. I'm excited to try their other dishes. Thee (despite the stupid name) is definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for chinese/korean. At least give the lunch special a try. Good change from that horrible Chikurin place with their terrible owners who tried to charge $7 corkage fee for wine and $2 for every beer! Hope this place sticks around...

Took the family there for an easy after holiday meal and it was great. Brother from SF and parents who eat a lot of Asian food all gave it rave reviews. Tried a variety of foods - green curry, pad ke mao, korean rice dishes, wonton soup and all were good. Service was quick. I will definitely go back and also order to go.

It's 5 o'clock on a Sunday, that is not a time in which a restaurant should be empty , right? But what the hell, let's try it anyway. It is A basement level restaurant, we ordered food after leaving the spa next door. Pad Thai was well prepared and egg rolls were also good. I got take-out so did not dine in here, but was quick without a long wait. Average food for an average price.

Food was the worst Asian food I have ever tried before. The seafood Tom yum soup was inedible. Seafood was stale. Service was decent. The server was nice enough to replace the soup but unfortunately replacement item was just as bad. Will never go again.

    (1)
  • anna k.

Really not a fan. Everything we had delivered was over sauced and super heavy. The seaweed salad was the only thing I could finish. I really couldn't decipher some of the seafood, just soo much coconut in the curry it all looked and tasted the same. Highly disappointing.

  • Megan P.

Ordered because they delivered late night through Grub Hub, but when the food came it was pretty terrible. Their green curry that I ordered "hot" was SUPER bland, and didn't taste like curry at all - it was a milky seafoam green color that almost looked like that gack from Ghostbusters. It was very flavorless. Lemongrass chicken wings didn't have much flavor either. Eggrolls were good, but that's about it. They even forgot the water I ordered but thanks to Grub Hub I got a quick refund for it. Wouldn't order again.

    (1)
  • Kelley B.

taste = meh... not great... got some lemongrass wings which were undercooked... but somehow seemed like they had sat under a heatlamp with tough skin, the thai pinapple rice w/ chicken was super dry. It was like they took there already cooked fried rice and threw some curry, pineapple and chicken in it and re-cooked. The Korean Chap Chai noodles w/ beef was the tastiest thing we got.

Ordered delivery from here. The other reviews were either dine-in or carry out. So here is a delivery review :) Honestly, I didn't really expect much from this place. I've tried out new places with good reviews and found that I didn't really like the food and/or the service. But, this place did not fail to impress me. Delivery order came in earlier than expected, which is always a plus. I ordered the Tempura noodle soup, meat Egg rolls, and Thai green curry lunch special. Egg rolls were good. The tempura noodle soup, they separated the noodles so that it won't get soggy. Was pretty good, and they didn't skimp on the quantity. The thai green curry was really good. I was craving some thai curry, and the amount they gave me was more than enough. They give you the curry and some rice in one package, like a bento box. They also gave me an extra box of rice. The lunch special also came with some of the typical chinese egg soup. It wasn't very good, but I didn't mind since it was free haha

I have order from this place multiple times and clearly requested chopsticks. I was utterly insulted after giving this driver a tip to discover no chopsticks he said next time and refused to give me my tip back. You didn't provide the service requested. The food is good, but poor customer service is a turn off, back to the drawing board! Never again!

I REALLY hope this place stays around!! Food is delicious (Tom Yum soup is a must, and literally comes in a trough) and I have never had a bad meal here. Portions are generous so splitting with a friend could make for a cheap meal! Crab rangoon is some of the better I've had, and the Basil Chicken with fried egg over rice is great! I have ordered from twice and eaten in twice. Makes me sad both times I was there, every table was empty:( Come on! They even have a FREEEEEEE parking lot in front! They are BYOB, but they are right next door to Cellar Rat so worth it to stop in there before you go. And their delivery is extremely fast! No complaints at all!

  • Alecia G.

OMG the worst delivery food ever...I ordered pad thai with chicken and crab rangoon with sweet and sour. The sweet and sour was in packets which was really like the typical duck sauce that is in packets at every other thai restaurant. There was no chicken on the pad thai and instead just a bunch of huge chunks of overdone tofu. Literally the worst Thai wanna-be food I have ever eaten! I don't understand how I just spent $22 on garbage that I am throwing away!!! Awesome, now I have to order another place...literally unedible!!! DON"T TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS PLACE!!!!!!

I was hungry, starving really. And I needed Asian food of some variety, quick! Thee Asian Restaurant delivered and it did so within 30 minutes of my order completion. Granted this doesn't happen every time you order, but they do a pretty good job of getting everything you're looking for in a timely manner. I always order a tapioca drink, which they deliver better than any restaurant I've ever ordered delivery from. Also the Orange Chicken & Pineapple Fried Rice are phenomenal. All in all, it's really the best with Chinese and Korean food. Stick to that and you'll be in good shape.

  • Lauren T.

Well where do I begin?! I really hate to give a one star, but I think I really have to. The food was not terrible, but not good either, l will explain why I gave it a one in a minute. So maybe 2 weeks back I ordered food for delivery from Three Asian Restaurant with my friend was shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, egg rolls and crab rangoon. So for the food, the crab rangoon was pretty awful, there was literally no filling and it was mainly crust. I let my friends dog eat the rest of them after I tried one, hehe! Then I went onto the orange chicken, which was not bad tasting, it actually tasted good, but after a few pieces I was chewing on a bite of chicken and I felt somthing hard, I pulled out a hard metal thing from my mouth, and it looked like a thin metal strip, about 3/4" long. After finding this metal strip I didnt really feel like eatting anything else. I think we let the dog finish the meal... :( Anyway, I am sure it is just a mistake but it still freaked me out a bit. I have heard of people finding strange things in their food but when it happens to you it is a bit different.

I will never understand why this place is always so empty. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the restaurant itself is very clean and nice. I love this hidden gem!!!

The portions were pretty small and the food was pretty bland. I ordered the broccoli bowl with chicken and requested they make it spicy, and found it very mild and lacking in any flavor at all.

I LOVE THIS PLACE... of course I have only ordered them after midnight and for a late night snack but every time I do its amazing. I love their Pad Sew Noodles with tofu and their appetizers are amazing.. They are never busy, open late, and very friendly. If you use Seamless or GH, I suggest you get with the program!!! OPEN TILL 5AM on the weekends (def beats Flash Taco)!

  • Soyoung S.

YAY!!!! Finally found my go-to late night delivery place that doesn't taste like garbage!! Their food reminds me of Joy Yee's....maybe it's from the same cook or something? But it's good quality, fresh, tasty, and not your typical Asian delivery standard. Their bubble tea is perfect as well

    (5)
  • Kristi C.

As far as late night food goes, this is pretty good and far healthier than any other late night greasy spoon options available in this neighborhood after hours. But as long as you know what to get and what not to get. The good food is great, and the okay food is forgettable. My main complaint with this establishment is the lack of clarity in their menu. On more than one occasion, I've ordered something under their "Vegetable" catagory, and there has been the distinct taste of fish sauce in that. Especially for a neighborhood like Wicker Park (which is chalk full of veggies and vegans) I'm shocked at how complacent they are with putting animal products in something and not clarifying that it's in there. All I ask for is to make a not on the veg items on the menu. I think it would be beneficial on their end, and on the consumers end. Schezuan string beans are fantastic. Decided to order the Malaysian string beans tonight and they wreak of fish sauce---so disappointed in that. If they would just make this minor change of marking their vegetarian menu options appropriately, I will definitely give them a five star review next time

  • Susannah S.

I was hard-up for some good late-night Asian delivery in the Logan Squarea. Found this place on Yelp amid two-star reviews for other restaurants with ghastly stories of grease and roaches--where else could I turn? Thankfully, Thee Asian appears to be roachless and has a varied menu with a good blend of the traditional and the unexpected (and some solid vegetarian options). My food arrived precisely at the 45-minute mark within my 30-45 minute estimated delivery time. In one brown bag was my avocado smoothie. I had ordered it out of curiosity, and it was a little on the strange side for me--slightly sweetened, but with a very strong avocado taste--but this is of course subjective. It might delight someone else's taste buds. I drank the whole thing anyway! It was a whole lotta smoothie. Good value for $3. The other brown bag contained my equally adventurous order of Japanese soft tofu with long golden mushrooms. I was impressed that my request for brown rice was honored at no extra charge; other places are so ridiculous about this! The soft tofu was delicious and had an amazing texture, cooked on the outside but creamy on the inside. Long mushrooms were long... and squishy... and I mistook them for noodles at first. These were not to my taste, but again, to each her own. There were regular mushrooms in there too, perfectly cooked, making up for the noodle-squishrooms. All told, this dish will feed me for at least 2 more meals. I may order something a bit more boring next time, but for the price, this was clearly some thoughtful, high-quality cooking. I'll be back.

I really enjoyed my meal here, I got some type of spicy beef and the meat was great quality. My husband had chicken fried rice, and although it was okay, it had a really smoky flavor, as did the egg drop soup. Couldn't quite place the flavor, and it wasn't enjoyable to us. If you order from Thee, try the various beef dishes, but steer clear of the fried rice.

BYOB and empty on a Friday night? Food must be horrible or overpriced right? Nope. Just a weird glitch that this place is wonderful every time. I'm not one to judge on authenticity or zest, but delivery or awkward lonely dining, I love this place. I had a Galentine's day get together here and while we weren't the only table on Friday night, we weren't crowded like we would've been at almost any other establishment in Chicago. The service was good, the food was good, and when you have dudes talking about how cool the bathrooms are... I don't know. This place is great. They did separate checks without an issue for my party and didn't charge an extra gratuity! (Though, I definitely tipped more than 25%) They're open super late, so they're great for late night foods, but oddly enough they're not open on Tuesdays.

Customer service failure. Placed a small order (less than 20 bucks worth of pad thai and soup) through GrubHub. I'm a night shift worker, so I do that pretty often. GrubHub tracking says the restaurant has marked the order as received and on its way, so that's fine, but at the half-hour-late mark, I call GrubHub customer service. Nice guy Jamie gets on the horn with the restaurant. When he takes me off hold, he tells me that the restaurant is claiming not to have my order in their system, and that the woman he talked to was audacious enough to accuse him of not working for GrubHub. Just goes to show you that you don't necessarily have to receive your food for a restaurant to leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Large portions, and looked good like all Asian food does, but I'm sorry to say it tasted horrible. I am not a picky person with food, I like almost anything... This was really gross. I went with the basics, what I always get from a place I've never tried before. Sesame chicken and orange beef. Chewy and disgusting. Crab Rangoons were just okay. And as other reviewers have said I couldn't figure out how late they were open. Different websites say different times, I had to call to find out. I won't order here again.

My best companion and I have made this place our prime choice for take out. They have a an amazing variety of dishes you can select from; which spans from Chinese, Korean, to Thai. Everything tastes incredible, and I love that the menu is so large I am always able to try something new. Not to mention my friend and I love their smoothies. They have a long list of flavors and you will spend far too much time trying to decide which one you want. =) they also let you add tapioca or mixed jellies! Good prices and the proportions are plentiful! My companion and I often spilt an order of the orange chicken or kung pao beef. Thumbs up to any establishment that offers me coupons for a free eggroll or crab rangoon with my order.

Order was wrong, was sent wrong items in the order. Received an item we didn't even order and didn't receive one of the items we did. The food was super greasy and chicken had no taste at all. It tasted like boiled chicken.

The crab rangoon was great but the bi bim bop is simply disgusting. I don't know how or why people eat it but it looked like Salisbury steak atop poorly cooked rice. Ordered via GrubHub and, suffice it so say, will not be ordering again.

I've probably ordered pickup from here at least 2-3 times a month for the last 2 years. The food is solid, if not a bit generic. The menu is really deep, although many items tend to taste pretty similar. It's not a bad place for pan-Asian takeout, portions are large, and prices are reasonable (and any time you go over $15 you get free egg rolls). I never see anyone eating in the place when I go to pick it up, but these guys put out solid Asian American classics and turn around takeout orders fast.

Ordered delivery and regretted Literally took an hour and 45 minutes to deliver. Ordered the Korean Beef bowl, the Thai Green Curry over Rice and two freezes. The meat and the freezes were decent which is why this isn't a one star, but I couldn't finish eating the curry or "korean beef" because it was like eating globs of fat and rice at points. Just disappointing and I'm still hungry

YAY!!!! Finally found my go-to late night delivery place that doesn't taste like garbage!! Their food reminds me of Joy Yee's....maybe it's from the same cook or something? But it's good quality, fresh, tasty, and not your typical Asian delivery standard. Their bubble tea is perfect as well

This is the greasy delicious Chinese I've been waiting for -- the go-to kind you crave when you're hungover or just need a cheap fix. We've tried a couple others in the area but this is by far the best. The General Tso Chicken is awesome! Not date night material but definitely great takeout for a movie night.

  • Adam G.

  • Christina M.

  • Fe T.

We got a Groupon for this place because it's close to our house. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was polite and attentive. We'll definitely go back.

One of the better Thai food restaurants in the area! Great dining experience overall. We'll be back soon!

Food was the worst Asian food I have ever tried before. The seafood Tom yum soup was inedible. Seafood was stale. Service was decent. The server was nice enough to replace the soup but unfortunately replacement item was just as bad. Will never go again.

Really not a fan. Everything we had delivered was over sauced and super heavy. The seaweed salad was the only thing I could finish. I really couldn't decipher some of the seafood, just soo much coconut in the curry it all looked and tasted the same. Highly disappointing.

Wouldn't order again.

taste = meh... not great... got some lemongrass wings which were undercooked... but somehow seemed like they had sat under a heatlamp with tough skin, the thai pinapple rice w/ chicken was super dry.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
