My girlfriend and I just came back from visiting family in the suburb, so we want to get something that is the best of our buck in Chinatown for a quick late night snack. We walked pass this place, and its decoration definitely stood out in my eyes. It was very nicely decorated with walls of greens with imitation plants hanging on the walls, making it pleasant to scan across. And so in we go. Base on the menu, I immediately had the hinge that this restaurant is a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant. Mainly because most of the items made me think back to my childhood..which, is to my delight. My girlfriend got the appetizer wings while I got the value meal bento box. I have to say, it really tastes like motherland. Not to say that it completely outdid the food I tasted in Taiwan, but it definitely has its resemblance. To further enhance the experience, the price is definitely cheap! Though this is coming from someone who does not frequent Chinatown as many of the locals. If I ever swing by the area, I would definitely come back~

My friends recommended me to come over here. I came by myself, they had 2 tables but server abandon me, cut to another table that they just came. I had to let the dude at the tea bar know that there was no server pay attention to me at all. Very slow service (-2 stars), food was up to par + reasonable price and milk bubble tea was okay (pretty watered down comparing to kung fu) I wonder why they don't do self service instead of having terrible servers.

The crab Rangoon here was delicious, it was actually filled with a ton of crab filling. The service here was incredibly nice and personable. The drinks here are so amazing they have millions to choose from. I got the red grapefruit with black tea and agar and drank it in a matter of minutes. I almost ordered another one before leaving but decided I was too full. Perfect place to enjoy China town at!

Awesome food! I went here with a couple friends on my first trip to Chinatown. The food was very authentic and vast. I ended up sticking with what I know and getting fried rice, while my friends were more adventurous. The food all came out at different times, which was a tad annoying. I was raised to wait for everyone to have their meals before I eat mine, so it was hard to do when we were waiting for everyone to have their meals. The worry of food getting cold crossed my mind. They also have really good drinks. I got a coffee drink, the name of which escapes me. It had little gel cubes in it, so it was very different but delicious. The drinks took quite awhile. I'd probably try somewhere new instead of this place, but the food was good.

I just don't get it. I'm Chinese and I grew up in the area. And since I was young, friends have been wanting to meet up at Saint's Alp. And for the last 15 years, I have always wondered why. The food is not that great (average or slightly below for Chinatown). The bubble teas are not as good as Joy Yees or Kung fu Tea. I decided to give it another try a few weeks ago and I still don't understand why people like this place.

Seems like their quality has changed since moving to their new location. While it's much updated, newer and in a prime location, it's totally not worth the trade off. My hot green milk tea now tastes bland and watered down. The prices are also higher than other tea places. Call me crazy, but could I get my cup filled to the top, please? Bring the old St. Alps back!

I came here for what was intended to be a quick meal. However, the workers were so disorganized and my food and drink came out around 10 min after my bf received his instead of at the same time. When I brought it to the waitress's attention that my drink order was incorrect, she talked to the barista and he was loudly complaining in the background. They not only brought my food to the wrong table but also continuously messed up the orders for the table next to me. We also had to keep flagging down the waiter/waitress to get our check. The food is on par with the other restaurants in Chinatown. In my opinion, the drinks stand out the most at St. Alp's. I love their jasmine green milk tea. Overall, I probably won't be coming back to eat here as the service is terrible. Save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere--there's a ton of other restaurants in Chinatown that will appreciate your patronage.

So far so Good! This quaint spot just opened up. I tried the Chicken Chop with Teriyaki sauce; it was suprisingly very filling. $7.95 worth it. The service was also pretty swift. Easygoing atmosphere despite the crowd you'll see in there. I went on a weekday, so I was surprised.

Still love their drinks there and food. More convenient with the new location. But the price has gone up quite a bit so there's the only take back on it.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
