Stopped by for a slice combo: one slice and a coke for $5. Gross, hard, nasty. Avoid anything by the slice.

I have been passing this place for years and finally decided to walk down on my lunch for their pizza/drink special. $5.50 for a slice and a pop.. can't beat it, right? The pizza is... gross. The crust is way too thick and the sauce is pretty much tomato paste with no seasoning. The cheese also doesn't even have a spec of oregano on it. Bland. I was only able to eat about half of it. It reminds me of those chain places like Cici's that tries to be real Chicago pizza.. but just falls short and tastes bad. ;( my pop was nice and icy! hahaha

I hadn't been here in a while but a bunch of friends were craving some 'za after a night of drinking. I ordered a slice of pizza and although it tasted alright, I went straight to the bathroom when I got home. At least they have an outdoor patio? Also, it's kind of awkward that you walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom...

Lost my appetite trying to place an order the person on the phone obviously hated life and really didn't "feel like working today" that's ok I'll take my money elsewhere. I mean we're all grown up here but cursing on the phone and jamming out to some music was a first when placing and order lol ( I don't need to exaggerate ) it's not worth it no matter how hungry you are. Lol rather eat this cereal bar from my mini bar. ..... This is the type of place I feel would drop your toppings on the ground and then put them on your pizza

First of all, the owner or manager was wearing flip flops in a kitchen environment, and was too lazy to take my order at the register; he looked from his phone and asked, "whaddya want" I got a sandwich and for ten bucks I thought it would be a decent size or at least tasty. No, it barely filled me up and didn't taste like anything except coleslaw. I could make a coleslaw sandwich at home and at least make it decently. The pizza did look very good, but I'm so disappointed that Im not going back there.

I am not one to leave reviews but my experience here was so horrifying I feel it deserves to be shared so future customers know to stay away. I have contacted their corporate office and Chicago Public Health Services as well in regards to my experience, that is how bad my experience was. I had been ordering with Rosati's off of GrubHub for the course of a year, but had never bothered to go in. The grubhub services were usually lackluster including misreporting delivery times etc but nothing that was worth complaining over. Finally this month I visited the facilities on Grand Ave and was disgusted with what I saw. The people handling the food (I ordered a wrap so it was prepared in front of me so I can only imagine what goes on in the back room!) wore no gloves and in between touching my wrap would take their bare hands, rub their nose and body parts, and go back to touching my food. They were burping while preparing the food, stains all over their garments, no hair net, and the list goes on and on. The parking lot reserved for customers to park, was instead a sleeping area for homeless. If you have any concern over the handling of your food whatsoever, this is not the place for you.

This review is about delivery, and also skips over the nature of the pizza, which was good but nothing special in my book. Moving on: If you want fried food and salad delivered to you in the most perfect conditions possible, as if in a good childhood memory of appetizers freshly drained from the deep-fryer at a mid-budget family-oriented chain restaurant, you should order food delivered from this place. IT IS MAGIC. Crispy, hot, fresh, and yet hardly leaving any oily residue on the cardboard packaging, the cheese sticks, zucchini sticks, and jalapeno poppers all tasted delicious. The salad was crispy and fresh in a cold way. Not always the case when salad comes along with three orders of crispy fresh hot fried food. Amazing. All dressings and sauces were secured by plastic and foil. So thoughtful. Finally, the delivery person seemed weirdly happy. At first I thought we must have known each other from somewhere. But then when I comprehended the perfection of the food and its condition, I realized he probably just enjoyed life and thus completed the circle of the Best Delivery Possible. In short, I am pretty sure this is the best place to order delivery from, possibly in the world, if you want fried food.

I was walking towards Portillo's until I saw the 5 dollar ad on the corner which was a slice of pizza including a drink. I walked into the spot and saw that the pizza was already made. I was hungry so I couldn't resist. The slice was pretty soggy and it had a lot of grease. Let's say the next day I had the stomach flu

If I could leave a zero star review I would. From the person on the phone being rude multiple times to the sandwich being mediocre, no cheese being added upon request, kept onions on the sandwich which I'm allergic to, this place is half assed and doesn't care. I called to tell them how many times they screwed up, they put me on hold then hung up on me... Don't bother with this place, I could have walked to the grocery store faster and made myself the correct sandwich I ordered...

Never again. I work in the food industry and previously at another Rosati's and this will be my final order from here. Pizza was late enough that I had to call. Then the driver forgot my 2 liter. No problem, it happens. Said he'd come back. Pizza tasted wrong, like the sausage had gone bad. We both ate one piece of our 2 to 3 piece usual and stopped. Again I work food, things happen, so trying to let things go. Still no soda. Called after another hour. Said they were too busy Ti fix it now and would refund me. Stores around me are closed now. It seemed more important to make more money than serve the customers they already have. This upset me. I called them out on it and finally was told the driver was going to be there within 15 minutes. Fine. An hour later, still no soda. Called again and the driver claimed to have delivered it. No. Hung up and called grubhub, who refunded the soda and tip. Couldn't get the pizza refunded, although I may either return it or take pictures to prove it wasn't eaten. Although I don't think they care. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

Ordered from here a few times off grub hub. I got the original spaghetti with mets sauce and the penne vodka with meatballs when I ordered. I also always get the mozzarella sticks. They are a little pricey but very good. All the pastas come with a salad and breadsticks. All in all would recommend if you are ordering

Bad service. Complained about having to make me a chicken sandwich, but all in all an average Italian open late joint. Good food if your wasted/stoned

  • Mary K.

Ordered for the first time today. The online order was easy enough, delivery was on time & accurate. Unfortunately the food was far from great. The Chicken chili seemed horribly processed and was no better than chili from a can. Chicago is suppose to be a pizza town and this pizza was not even average. Ate some of the pizza but think the remainder will get tossed. Completely unimpressed!

I had a craving for a gyro and since I haven't been able to find that great one by me, I usually switch it up on where to order from. I went onto Grubhub to place an order from here along with a sandwich for my husband. They quoted me 45- an hour, which is typical, although usually this has some time padded on so them the consumer is that much happier when the order comes ahead of schedule. Once an hour passed and I still didn't have my food, I called. They said it would be a bit longer. It took another 15 minutes and when the food got to me it was ice cold. I mean not like lukewarm but cold. The gyro was so burnt and tasteless I couldn't even eat it. It seemed like they had made it a long time ago, forgotten about it, and threw it in the microwave before sitting in the car for it to get cold. There was no moisture whatsoever. Had they simply called and said 'we're running late' or offered to do something, it would have been different. If they knew they would not be able to offer quality food to me they should not have taken my order or cancelled it when they made this realization. This would have been better than delivering what they did when they did. I cannot say one good thing about my experience here.

I love Rosati's Cheese filled crust pizza. I really like the buffalo wings, Alfredo/Fettucine, and they have good Greek Salads. I've been ordering from them for a couple years now. Definitely a fan (of this specific Rosati's. The newer one in University Village is pretty basic & lacking some flavor).

I've ordered from this shithole twice, only bc they're open late. Food is gross and both times my order was wrong and customer service was extremely rude. Seriously, this place is a total joke. Don't waste your money.

  • Maggie H.

Underwhelming. Only people there (this should've been a sign) and it took us half hour to get our two sandwiches we'd gotten to go. They were mediocre at best, subway would've been a better call.

Tried Rosati's because I wanted a sandwich + fries. Delivery was 40 minutes late (on top of waiting an hour since I used Grub Hub), and the driver didn't have my full order. Driver said he'd have someone else deliver it; but after another hour of waiting, I called. Nothing was mentioned. So, I'm still waiting for them to complete my order, almost three hours later. They offered to give a $4 credit next time I ordered; however, I won't be ordering again, even though the fries were good.

  • Blaine S.

SUPER RUDE! we were told a 45 minute wait and after waiting over an hour we called with no help from the worker who answered the phone. she put me on hold for a few minutes then after finding out what i was inquiring about, put me on another 2 minute hold. when I finally was able to ask about our delivery time, she told me "it will be there soon" and hung up.

A model of inconsistency . Everything from quality, preparation, and portion size is a total crap shoot. Except the pizza, the Pizza is always shit. And don't place a takeout order. If they even deliver your food, it will be cold and delivered in crushed/leaking packages. Furthermore, they are going to forget some items from your order. But whatever you do, don't have the audacity to call and complain that A- your food was delivered totally crushed and B- they forgot part of your order. Oh hell to the no. Then you'll get to deal with the double digit IQ mouth breathing princess that takes the orders.

Smartest, $40 Friday late night munchies delivery I've ever spent. Let me explain. I've used them before... craving the odd, late nite cheese slice or chicken sandwich before when everything else was closed but this was substantial because I try to avoid their $5 dollar delivery fee. But this time I really got to experience what the kitchen could really craft if given the proper time. So here's the quick and dirty for my long weekend snack supply. I ordered a creamy, pesto Alfredo tortellini entree along with the house salad, ridiculously huge and juicy six piece catfish entree with crispy battered fries, huge wheat quesadilla and Oreo cheesecake slice. And since the grub hub total order was $30 or more I received a free, wheat super thin crust 12 inch cheese pizza for free!

Can't say I was a big fan of the pizza. And I usually order from Rosati's, two different locations. Meaty Pie Review: Crust: Soggy Sauce: Bland, no flavor, and sour. Bacon: Overly Cooked, dry, super hard to eat. Although the owner was nice, service was decent. The owner decided to credit me for the full amount of pizza for my experience which was extremely nice. I've never had a bad experience with a Rosati's pizza I have eaten at. The one I ate here was just not usually the Meaty Pie I get. Crust is nice and crisp and has actual flavorful sauce. Hoping to re-try their other food selection which will lead me to writing a better review!

Way too long for delivery. I ordered I medium pizza....that's all and it almost took 2 hours. WTF

    (1)
  • Steven W.

Hour and a half late. I've worked years on end as a pizza delivery guy and there is no excuse for that. Took almost 3 hours from time of delivery and the pizza was lukewarm and chewy by then. I was actually on the phone with grubhub customer service complaining when the delivery guy called. Never again!

I ordered from this spot off of Grub Hub. Got here fast but dang! The food quality is terrible. My sandwich was dry and well, really just awful, and my "Boneless Buffalo Wings" would have been better as McDonald's chicken nuggets. I won't ever be ordering from here again, and I suggest if you're hoping to quench your hunger you don't do it as well. I mean, if it's the only place open at the time MAAAAYBE, just for munchies, but save your money in general.

Ok....two words.... BOSCO STICKS.....AMAZINGNESS. I have heard of these legendary sticks from a couple of people. I saw them on the menu and couldnt resist. PHENOMENAL. Breadsticks with cheese baked in them. Perfect. Side of marinara to top it off. I actually didnt have anything italian/pizza-y here (unless you consider the bosco sticks italian...?). I got the Southwest salad. It was really good and HUGE! It came with this horseradish-y dressing. It was perfect. I literally didnt even finish half because it was monstrous in size. Also, I tried a bite of the Santa Barbara wrap. It actually tasted really fresh. I was impressed with the sandwiches at this place. I was really ready to be disappointed and was pleasantly surprised. The order did take a little while. Overall, I will definitely go back...if nothing else, I think I will become obsessed with Bosco sticks....YUM

I stopped going there because the pizza is mediocre and because they don't shovel their snow for pedestrian commuters or pick up the trash in their bushes. A lot of rats live in those bushes and they never do anything about it. Smell for yourself.

I ordered from here a couple days ago for a company lunch. I was completely surprised by the amount of menu items they had. I thought that just had pizza! It's all decently priced! We fed 10 people and the total after tax, tip, and delivery came out to less than $110. The food arrived just in time (10 minutes before I had requested it) and the delivery person was really nice! I ordered Maricopa Salad and it was great! I love the garlic vinaigrette! Never had anything like it. I did wish that it was chunks of meat rather than diced lunch meat. It also came in this delicious tortilla/wrap bowl. I didn't eat all of it because there was so much food! I would definitely recommend this place. Good eats for cheap.

This was my first pizza strikeout since being back in Chicago. Didn't really think it was possible for deep dish to put up an 0-fer amongst drunk buddies, but between four of us we definitely didn't finish this whole pie. Not because we didn't have the appetite either. It tasted like what I imagine The Pilsbury Dough Boy would if the Papa John's dude sat on his head. Way too much uncooked crust, very little taste to the sauce, and the next day came out of the fridge like a block of cement. I can't speak for the deli, but if you want a late night slice there are plenty of better options.

I haven't been disappointed by a restaurant this much in a while. I've never seen people make a sandwich slower. And when it got to me, it was missing the main ingredient. The bread was really awful. I'm finding it hard to say anything good about the place.

I go here occasionally for a good cheap lunch. The pizza is huge and filling. But what really puts this at a 4 star instead of a 3 is that they have GREEN RIVER. The only place I've seen in the Loop that has it!

Too bad, bad customer experience here. I ordered a pizza via Grubhub at 9:00, delivery was estimated at around 10:00. I called back at 11:00 and was told by a woman who worked there that the driver should be there soon and she apologized for the inconvenience. I called back at 11:30 and was transferred to the manager, Fernando, who told me the driver came at 9:30 and tried delivering. He said that he called me and left a message, all of which was obviously not true. My phone showed no call and I had no message. Did not enjoy being inconvenienced and lied to. He kinda seemed aggravated by my complaint and said well he could put in another order but it would take about another hour. I asked if it would be free and he said no. Very very disappointing. I had ordered from this place several times, and overlooked a burnt pizza and a late delivery in the past because I typically don't find this crap worth complaining about, but after this last order I won't be returning and will recommend my friends to avoid this place as well. There's plenty of good pizza in Chicago and these guys aren't worth the trouble.

Pretty good pizza for a chain with a ton ton ton ton of options. If the prices were more reasonable it'd be a four. I mean, the Bosco sticks do kill it.

The rest of the Rosati reviewers must be surly from sipping on sour Haterade martinis from Streeterville because Rosati's is friggin' awesome: their $6.98 pizza and salad deal is delicious, inexpensive (tax included), and convenient. Why order delivery when it's so effin' close to everyone's office anyway? Lazy hipsters.

This review is based on their delivery service and the gyros. I was craving gyros really, really badly and this place was one of the few that had delivery for gyros in my area. I ordered the gyros platter for $10.99 and a large fountain drink. Expected delivery time was 60-75 minutes and the food arrived during that time frame. Holy lamb! Gyros galore! This platter was filled to the rim of gyros! I was hoping that the platter would be big enough for me to eat half and bring the rest home later for my husband, and the amount of gyros did exactly that! Plentiful and flavorful, the platter also came with a pretty big portion of fries and generous amounts of tomato, onions, feta cheese, and tatziki sauce (my faaaaavorite part). The gyros definitely hit the spot, and if by any random chance you are craving gyros during lunch hour at work (especially if you work in the Medical District), this place would be ideal for delivery!

I came here late at night because it was one of the few establishments that were open. I can't endorse this place. While I did not eat here, I got my order to go, the venue looked presentable and clean. The food on the other hand is not something to rave about. I got a Ruben from here. It was overloaded with Sauerkraut, I think it had more Sauerkraut than meat! There was nothing unique or tasty about the Ruben, and it was not cheap either. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I can make a better Ruben.

  • John F.

I've been here for lunch quite a few times. You can get a large slice of pizza and fountain drink for $5+tax. Not too shabby for being in the heart of River North where a lunch will typically cost you anywhere from $10 to $15. Now is it the best pizza in Chicago? Absolutely not, but it's still pretty good and you can't complain for the price. They have a nice little outdoor patio with seating so it's a good spot to grab some lunch and sit outside on a nice day, especially if you're looking for something quick and cheap.

I like Rosati's. Their sandwiches are really good. I get the make your own with turkey on wheat, I add red onions, sprouts, and avocado, and put my own mustard and mayo on. Their caesar side salad is huge, and really yums. I haven't had their pizza, as it just looks bad, so I can't say anything about it. They do tend to forget the fridge stuff in pick up orders. I recommend checking your order before you leave.

  • Ashley H.

I've ordered from Rosati's before. I've never had a problem with their food, other than the pizza being bland and their delivery drivers being incredibly rude. But this time was different. I ordered soup, a sandwich, a drink and onion rings. 2 hours later I'm still missing my order. I called once and was told my order was on the way...45 minutes later it's still not here and I'm about 15 minutes away from Rosati's. Will not order from here again. Terrible service. Food is not worth the price. ***FOLLOW UP*** I called for a second time to see where my food was. The manager told me the driver was back at the store and said that the food had been delivered. I told him he was obviously mistaken because I would not be on the phone if I had my food. The driver proceeded to tell the manager someone signed for the food, which was untrue. I told the manager that I gave explicit instructions for the driver to CALL as soon as he arrived. I never received a call. The manager said he'd have another order made and sent out. Bottom line: do not order from this trash pit. They won't bother following instructions and they'll deliver your food to the wrong address and let someone sign your name.

The absolute worst experience in a restaurant in my life...so I get with bad weather there would be a delay but you would think that calling ahead would at least give a bit of insight into where exactly they were on orders. NOPE! I get there an hour after my order was made I was told 30-45 mins tops. Get there no idea what my order was and laughed when I said how much longer...they said at least 30 mins. I then ask if they could simply bump me to the first position they didn't seem to understand what I meant so I ask to speak to manager. Manager and OWNER comes up with an attitude and doesn't even try to fix the situation NOPE becomes argumentative with me. So then my room mate talks to the guy because I'm ready to flip the hell out. In the end we get our pizza who knows what the fuck they did to it. But we are gonna examine the fuck outta this pizza with black lights and a csi kit! Absolutely pathetic customer service! Great food but damn Corporate Rosatis please take note this location is destroying your brand! Cut your losses immediately and just shut them down or remove your affiliation. I will tell everyone willing to listen that this is worst example of Rosatis in Chicago. The only saving grace was the two young ladies taking the orders at the register.

  • Anuj S.

If I had reviewed this place upon receiving my pizza delivery order, I would've given them maybe 2 stars. So it's kind of a long story, but here it goes. I asked the lady on the phone what the seasoned crust was. She explained that it was like a pan pizza and that the bottom of the crust was seasoned with garlic, red peppers and what not. I thought it sounded good, so I ordered one of those and one normal thin crust. Out in the suburbs, the Rosati's thin crust is usually awesome, so I wanted something I knew would be good. So when I opened the box for the seasoned crust, I was like.... huh? It looked more like a pie, than a pizza. And I don't mean a pizza pie. It literally had a layer of crust on the top. I've had stuffed pizzas before and they usually come with pizza sauce on top. Anyway, this isn't what the lady described to me at all. I was pretty disappointed and I called them back. Here's where things turned for the positive. I got handed off to someone that must have been a manager and he said they could send me out something else or give me a credit for next time. I went with the credit option (no patience for waiting for a 2nd delivery). So I had this weird sauce-less "pizza" sitting there so I decided to taste it. OMG, it was delicious! the seasoning made the crust amazing. Plus it was pretty crispy on both sides. I really liked it and so did everyone else. The only drawback is that this pizza is VERY filling. I dare someone that can eat more than one piece. On the other hand, the thin crust was just like of meh. Very average. Not bad, but just not great. For some reason it just wasn't as good as Rosati's out in the burbs. I wonder if this is the same Rosati's because this place is called Rosati's California Style Deli... IDK. Anyways, so that was quite a reversal. Turned out good though, and now there's like this whole new category of pizza. It's heavily seasoned stuff pizza without sauce. Don't know what to call it...

I am SO disappointed in Rosati's. I was a huge fan and I ordered from here a lot. My last order, I waited 2 hours for it to be delivered. It never arrived. I called once and the girl lied to me and said the driver "just left". I called again 45 minutes later and the manager was mystified where my order was. He couldn't figure out was happened so I cancelled. I won't be ordering from here ever again.

Blargh... after faithfully using Rosati's as our "go-to 'za" place... we're in search of a new joint... I get that they're busy, I get that people are human... but to mess up our order, not once, but TWICE in the same night, and THEN for the delivery guy to seek a tip after CORRECTING the order a third time? No thanks? In an effort to feed 7 hungry people, we ordered 2 pies and garlic bread. The first time around, we received ONE pie, the second... just the bread, and lastly... the final pizza came, in which the driver stood around awkwardly for a tip. No sir, you can hit up the original guy for that... Their non-pizza items are great... but ordering so-so pizza at the cost of starving friends and a headache is NOT worth it.

This review is not a reflection of the quality of the food served here.. I used to order from here 2x a week. Until I became fed up. They make stupid mistakes often, such as delivering my salad without dressing. Their margin of error is catastrophic ESPECIALLY considering that they don't even allow substitutions for any of their items, so I cant order a sandwich with cheddar instead of swiss. I just don't understand why 1/2 of my orders from here are always botched. Thi

Pretty pretty good. I love a good NY slice and not that style of pizza or at least the one I ordered--but respect for this style pizza. Lets just say the XL pizza, is XL (be prepared). Perfect for a Superbowl or Sports party.

  • Michael F.

If you're up for quick pizza, this is your place. If you're down for quality, look somewhere else. It sounds like the reviews for non-pizza items are better than the reviews for pizza. This is only a review of their pizza as that's all I've had in my visits. The pizza is extra saucy, and definitely heavy for a lunchtime bite. One slice should be enough for you, which I guess is a good thing. However, if you're expecting the same rosati's taste you've got from other locations, this place doesn't quite hold up. Also, I haven't figured out what makes this a California Style Deli.... Seriously, please message me if you know the answer. If you're from Chicago, I'm sure you've got a list of places up your sleeve that are better pizza joints than this. If you're not from Chicago then do yourself a favor and try one of our premier pizza joints rather than this place. Great place for a quick lunch with a pretty nice patio, but nothing to go out of your way for if you don't work in the area.

Reviews are all over the place, and I understand why. This is barely a Rosati's, and there are many loyal Rosati's fans. I am one of them. If you stick to the traditional thin-crust pizza, you'll find it to be thicker and less "cracker-crusty" than the suburban Rosati variety. This is the only reason the star is missing, because it's not QUITE what I consider to be the perfect pizza. Otherwise, the pizza has always been delivered quickly (to our 21st floor office), hot, fresh, etc etc, and it's our go-to to feed our office of a dozen or so for about 6 bucks a head. I can't speak for their sandwiches, because who the hell orders a sandwich from Rosati's, anyway?

  • Ellen D.

Alright, so two things here are giving this place 4 stars: 1) HUGE - like bigger than my head huge - slices of pizza 2) Pizza + Drink = $5.00 Mama likes. Pizza was a bit thicker than I usually like and the crust was a little bit tough, but for $5.00, I can't complain even a little bit. One slice of pizza could feed a small village for days... and it's pretty damn delicious, too. Only downside is I've been on a wheat-free kick for a few weeks and I decided to let myself live a little and cheat on my new lifestyle with a deliciously giant slice of 'za... however, this pizza has a whole lotta wheat with the super-thick crust, and my body officially hated me afterwards. Worth it? I'm 99% sure it was. If you all don't know this by now, good+cheap places always get 4+ stars from me. Yeaaaa boi!

Well, I hate to leave a review based on one experience at a place, but I gotta do it. Last night, after a long day of moving my boyfriend's apartment into mine, he and I were excited to order delivery pizza via Grubhub. He had eaten at Rosati's before and liked the pizza, so we placed an order. We ordered a pizza, of course, but also wanted an appetizer. I like breadsticks. He likes cheese sticks. It's sort of an issue in our relationship. Pouring over the appetizer menu, we saw cheese sticks (6 count) for 5.99, bosco sticks (4 count) for 5.99, and breadsticks for 6.99 (no count mentioned, but "garlic dipping sauce and marinara or meat sauce" were included). We both thought 6.99 was a little pricey for your run-of-the-mill breadsticks, but I really had a taste for them, and we ultimately decided that they must be really good (and a hefty serving) if they're gonna run us 7 bucks. So we went with breadsticks, to my satisfaction. Estimated arrival, between 10:15-10:25. 10:30, we called and politely asked for our order status. "They're on their way," she says. Great. 10:40, food arrives. The breadsticks are in a thick box, so I'm pumped. Upon opening, I first notice that they bear a striking resemblance to the breadsticks one might recall being served in their high school cafeteria. I then notice that they are a little dark in color, though not quite burnt. And finally, I realize our order consists of only 5 sticks. Ripped off? Don't care, too hungry. First bite: dry, hard, sorta burnt, definitely not delicious. Now, when I'm starving and food's in front of me, I'm more apt to look on the bright side, so I decide they probably won't be so bad dipped in the garlic dipping sauce! ......Wait..... no garlic dipping sauce. Ok, marinara then. Again, fail. Don't get me wrong, we did receive our marinara sauce, a HUGE soup-sized portion, in fact. But it was clearly tomato sauce straight from the can, nothing added. If you've ever worked at a pizza place (as I have) you know that by definition, marinara sauce consists of many other ingredients, namely, sugar, black pepper, oregano, basil.....and so on. The pizza hit the spot, and did not disappoint. (Hence the 2 stars) Now, instead of passive aggressively writing a yelp review about the terrible breadsticks, I decided to give them a chance. Either they screwed it up, or we were ripped off and they need to know that we're not happy so the next customers don't get screwed. Call em' up, talk to a manager, tell him the story. Ask if that's what I was supposed to get for 6.99 when the cheese sticks and bosco sticks are only 5.99. The good news: without hesitation he gives me an $8 credit, but not before telling me the breadsticks are only 5.99 and that they are cooked with garlic butter. So I read it again off the Rosati's AND Grubhub menus which are sitting in front of me-"Sir, it says 'Breadsticks-6.99, served with garlic dipping sauce and marinara or meat sauce.' Perhaps you should look into changing your menu if that's not the correct price, or what you serve." Clearly, he doesn't understand damage control, because he offers no other apology or explanation for the order of 5 burnt breadsticks with a side of canned tomato sauce and their ridiculous price. He wants to get me off the phone. Oh well, I guess we'll be ordering from Rosati's again to put that $8 credit to use. I'll let you know how it goes.

Normally I don't discriminate when it comes to pizza but despite getting points for being open late, i went there with a group of friends and was not so happy with the service. The pieces were rather large and only had deep dish at that time so my sister and I wanted to split a piece. The teller, Becki, said "sorry we don't do that". She claimed that it was against their rules to cut the piece in half for the customer. I cut the piece with a plastic knife and it was no problem. But at the end of the day, the pizza was heavy, oily, and not worth the cost or the mean service.

I just got my eggplant parmesan order from Rosati's. I got TON of pasta which I don't even care about. While I got three meager strips of eggplant. Each no bigger than my middle finger. There is symbolism somewhere in there. The sausage was overcooked and very dry. And pasta sauce was barely there. Pathetic.

This place is reliably good. It's never quite as good as it sounds on the menu, but it's fast at a good price and I keep ending up there -- so I can't complain. The salads are an especially good deal.

I have a love/hate relationship with Rosati's Pizza. When I used to work in Schaumburg, it made for a great Friday afternoon lunch at the office with the coworkers. Generally, their blend of hand-tossed pizza with decent quality ingredients made for pie that's not at the top of the Chicagoland pizza scene, but also not at the bottom. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate to every Rosati's Pizza. A friend and I stumbled across this location during our lunch break in downtown Chicago hoping to pick up a slice and a drink. Seeing the welcoming sign for "Lunch Special", we decided to try our luck at a place we'd never been. What could go wrong, right? The pizza was incredibly dry, the cheese congealed, the sausage hard and it was more bread and cinder block hard crust than anything. For pre-heating slices of pizza, the expectation for quality will naturally be much lower than a freshly cooked slice, but at the prime of the lunch rush, these slices seemed to be sitting for what must have been hours. The special came with a side so we both tried our hand at the chili. It was soupy and lacked any sort of substantial base. Not mention the iced tea tasted like it might of had some sort of weak fruit punch in it? I couldn't quite put my finger on that one, but I can definitely confirm something wasn't right. For paying almost $10 for a slice of pizza, drink and small cup of chili, I would have expected a little more quality from Rosati's. I could see the look of disappointment from the black and white photo on the wall of the founders stationed by the door. It brought a single tear to my eye. I mean, it wasn't so terrible I didn't finish the meal (I mean, for $10 it wasn't making it's way to the garbage), but it truly was disappointing.

This is the first time I have ever ordered from this place and I will definitely order from here again. Why you ask? Well, I will give you 10 reasons. 1. Delivery orders taken late (12:30am)...this is a good thing 2. Food was hot and sealed to prevent spillage during delivery drive. 3. Mostaccoli with meat sauce was good (could have used Parmesan cheese). 4. Bosco sticks!!! I am a fan. The only way I can describe it is as a hollow breadstick filled with cheese and then deep fried, but not with deep fried breading. 5. Newport Beach Salad with Caesar dressing (Very fresh and as it was described) 6. They have great prices 7. A huge menu 8. They cater parties 9. Friendly phone ordering. 10. Huge portions.

Holy crap.. people like this restaurant!? Stayed at a hotel last weekend with a few friends and we ordered in after a long day in the city. Holy crap the good reviews are blowing my mind. The sandwich I had was so insanely horrible. The bread was crazy dry, and they didn't make up for it in sauce. Then the chicken was so questionable. I tried pulling the sandwich apart and not eating the bread only to realize there was something weird about the chicken breast (other than the fact that it was dry too..) I don't know if it was cheese or if they had sliced it to cook it better or what. But I was able to peel back a layer of something white and very unappetizing. I ate about two bites. My friends had similar problems with their sandwiches. NO ONE ate theirs. SO GROSS! I saved the menu only so I could find this place on yelp and help stop anyone from buying their sandwiches. Overall, their delivery driver was cute and spoke english- a first throughout all my delivery experience in the city. That was the highlight of this experience. Oh, and the cheese sticks were decent I guess...

$5 slice + a free drink is great for a quick lunch. The slice is huge and very tasty. If you're in the mood for dessert, their cannolis are excellent. Some of the employees need to lighten up (a few look like they want to kill themselves). Other than that, this place is legit. I'll be back.

Ordered delivery from here it took 2 hours to get our food. The pizza was burnt and the fried zucchini was cold. I would never order from this rosati's again. Maybe it would be fine for pick up but don't bother with delivery if you want to receive your order in a reasonable time.

How can this place operate better during a record breaking blizzard than they do when its raining in August? The night of the famous Chicago Snowpocalypse 2011 we ordered around $100 worth of takeout from this place. They managed to make it to our place in under an hour. We have tried ordering from here a couple of times since and have been let down each time. Last night, when it was raining, we were quoted for an hour wait for our delivery. When the food did arrive over two hours later, we were missing part of our order and the chips for the guacamole were incredibly stale. When I called back, the woman said it would take over an hour for us to receive the rest of our order because of the rain and we needed to be more patient.

There's much better pizza in Chicago, don't do it! My colleague & i were both staying @ the W in Chicago on Adams & hungry after going to Lolla so i recommended he use Grub Hub because it's always great & reviews honest. we ended up ordering from the same restaurant, Rosati's, bc of the great reviews & proximity, & got our food at the same time. 1st bad sign was that the driver couldn't find us, He was @ the Marriott across the street but kept saying he was @ the W. finally he walked in to the W lobby where we were both standing in our sweats awkwardly by the bar where he said he was all that time before realizing he was in the wrong hotel. upon opening my pizza box back in my room, it appeared the delivery driver had held the pizza vertically as it was all the way at the bottom of the box, a mushy mess. Thankfully Grub Hub got it taken off my bill. Unfortunately the other food i ordered (side salad, Rosati Bites, & boneless chicken wings) wasn't great. The Rosati bites are not at all how they're described -i got a box of stale fried bread. no fries, no zest, no garlic. Salad was fine. Wings weren'y great, guess i should have gotten spicy instead of mediocre mild. Needless to say when i checked with my colleague about his meal, he didn't have anything positive to say. Sorry guys, but i have to tell the truth here- buyer beware.

I had a decent experience with this pizzeria. We ordered delivery and it arrived exactly one hour later, the time they had designated. The guy who took my order was much more laid back than most pizza order guys, who usually bark at you We had chosen a deep dish pie, half with spinach and artichoke hearts, half with sausage and onion. (*Disclaimer- I'm new to Chicago and this was my first experience with deep dish, but I'm from Jersey and know my pizza, the thin crust kind anyway. Therefore, I will talk about the quality of pizza, but not how it ranks as a deep dish.) On the whole, I thought it was decent for a run of the mill pizza delivery place. Not the best, not the worst. The quality of the ingredients was good- the sausage was tasty and in actual pieces, unlike the questionable balls of sausage some places serve. There could have been more spinach/artichoke. It was an enjoyable slice of pizza with a hearty serving of good cheese, chunky sauce and good flavor. They added a nice amount of Italian seasoning to it, which added some depth. The size was huge! We ordered one 18" pie for 3 people, guessing that the deep dish would make it more filling. We were right on that count, but made it through way less of the pie than expected- only half! In this way, it was a good value for the amount of satiation we got out of it, though adding toppings got expensive. My main problem with the pizza was that the toppings were underneath the cheese, which meant that there lacked a binding agent between the dough and the toppings. This caused the cheese/toppings to slide off and separate from the dough/sauce. Also, the dough was a little on the soft/mushy side. Not horribly so, but noticeably so. The dough could definitely be better. The cheese was pretty melty when we got it, but then congealed kinda quickly. Overall, flavor was good, execution was lacking a little, but I was pretty satisfied.

I'll keep this review simple. They get 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. Everything I've ever ordered from here is pretty good. Not amazing, but it's a good stand by. 2. They deliver very quickly, sometimes in under 20 minutes.

There is nothing "California style" about this place. There is nothing "deli" about this place either. But, if you enjoy globular cheese and thick-breaded pizza, you'll love Rosati's. Overpriced, bland, and disappointing.

Not bad, not bad at all ... I have been slightly leery of this spot each time I have passed, because I felt like they didn't know what type of place they wanted to be (California style deli, wraps, pizza, etc where are we going with all this). Having arrived home after a terribly exhausting day at lollapalooza we needed to find some sort of delivery for dinner. Pizza it is. Who will deliver? I placed the laptop in my husbands lap and told him to get to work. Rosati's it is. A large mushroom, black olive, and sausage pizza (the boys picked). We were told it would be an hour and thirty minutes for delivery - so we sent the guys walking. When they arrived home the pizza was still piping hot. There were large chunks of sausage, piles of olives and mounds of mushrooms. It was a really decent pizza. My one complaint ... the squares vs slices. My toppings (cheese included) never stayed on the crust. I was continuously placing them back onto the crust. Over all the pizza had a great flavor, loads of toppings and was very fresh ... A-OK in my book.

I can't give Rosati's more than two stars after my experience last night. I ordered a Philly Steak, onion rings, and a side salad. Salad was blah- iceberg lettuce, two tomato slices, and flavorless dressing. Onion rings were standard. Philly steak was ABOMINABLE. Shameful. I have had their pizza and it's better than average... but seriously guys. If you're going to put something on the menu try a little harder to actually do a decent job. Ob the other hand the delivery guy was really cool and fast.

An afternoon with Dana P... Me: I'm hungry Dana: Me too. I want pizza. Me: There's quartino. Let's go there. Dana P: Just passed it and I don't want to turn around. Let's go to Rosati's down the street. Their pizza is really good. We pull up to Rosati's (free parking- yay). A slice of cheese for Dana and a slice of pepperoni for me. Me: Eeeewww....why is this so greasy? Dana P: I think it's good. Me: Eeeewww....why isn't the pizza dough fully cooked? Dana P: Yeah, this is actually pretty gross. We leave Rosati's. Me: I'm still hungry.

I've ordered take out from this place a few times. The BLT with Avacado (BLTA I think?) is really good. The delivery is usually pretty quick too. I'm giving it a three because I ordered pasta for my bf and I last night for our pre-race ritual (we both run). If I had known they give you enough pasta to feed a small country, I would have only ordered 1 mostacholi. We have so much of it in our fridge. The two of us only at about half of one portion. There is a good chance most of it will go to waste. My gripes are that the pasta was way too overcooked and mushy and the sauce was just ok. They also put way too much cheese on it (if your order it baked). I would definitely order their other good stuff like the appetizers and BLTA's again but definitely not pasta. Our pre-race ritual will have to stick with Portillo's/Barnelli's Pasta Bowl as their pasta is much better. (Not that Barnelli's is authentic Italian-it is just good).

Ok so my weekly ritual has to be take out from here. Although it may be a small little joint the food selection is great not too expensive. Pizza...Eee.. Salads...great... Pasta..good Tortilla wraps..(according to the bf "amazing!"). I would highly recommend the Alcatraz salad for lovers of grilled chicken n avocado! Although, it seems very simple it's delicious!!!

5 VEGETariAN sandwiches on the menu?!! Only a deli with "California" in the name would cater to salad grazers such as myself smack dab in downtown CHI. HURraH. Oh me likie! I had the GRover Beach, and let me tell you it made me want to go to Grover Beach. I could rock on my porch swing on my pretend pastel colored California bungalow porch and munch on sprouts, tomato , avocado, plus extras on tomato basil Bread?!...mmmm. My tummy purred. Me thinks that a way to a Vegetarian's heart may be through her stomach too....especially if one knows how to make a good vegi sandwich. It might also help to have a fake or real Italian accent when you deliver it to her... We all know about how great the pizza pie izzzzz sooo I won't even comment. The menu is huGE so all your carnivorous friends can get their fix too. YEAH! Go eatzzza good food and be happy.

Just take a quick look at their online menu and you'll think about giving Rosati's at least 4 stars for their sandwich options.. I.. want to try them all. All their sandwiches hot or cold are 6.99 and come with a small side of your choosing.. mmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMmm The pizza, from Rosati's of course, is also yummy - huge thick bready slices COVERED with gooey cheese and toppings. They have salad options that come in tortilla bowls as well as some of the best fries I've ever had...whhich I've noticed are always fried to order.. so good.

I order from here quite often. The delivery is super fast. The fries are phenomenal. 4 out of 5 times they will be perfectly crisp, which is pretty rare with other places. I love everything I've tried so far and I'm eager to try more stuff. I definitely recommend the Bosco Sticks, the sandwiches, and the burgers are great as well. Don't forget the fries, the best in the country quote is no lie. Can't imagine how great they are when you dine there. Don't get me started on the cannolis..

I never understand how I can walk into a place that is completely empty and still have it take forever to 1) get served and 2) get my food. It appeared that everyone working the day I went did not want to be there and was upset that I was coming in. The sandwich I had was ok but nothing worth having again at their prices. No need to write anymore about this place, just skip it.

Stopped in here for lunch with a friend and was surprised how many itmes they had on their menu. I quickly decided on one of the tortilla wraps. It was a little on the pricey side, but thought it would probably be a bigger sandwich. My friend and I sat outside on their patio (seats maybe 25 people) and got served in about 5 min. The sandwich was good size and served with chips and salsa. It was decent, not the greatest wrap, but I only ate one half and the other half for dinner. I would go back and try a new sandwich...or maybe their pizza which is available by slice at anytime of the day. Nice place with good food fast!

If I ate some Play Doh, took a duece, rolled it out with an ironing pin, and then topped it with Lunchables meat, I would have a pizza slice from Rosati's. My side salad was pretty fresh and the blue chese dressing was passable. The two stars are really for the nice girl that served me and let me know she really needed a beer when she got off work. I'm from California and for the life of me could not identify the style they claim is Californian. Maybe they are trying to emulate a pizza from a bulletproof glass encased Pizzza Hut in Bakersfield?

I think I need to learn to order from this place. Their deli menu looks great but I'm just not "wow"ed by what I get. First time I went to Rosati's, I was about to order a sandwich when my eyes bugged out upon seeing their huge pizza slices for sale. $5 for a slice and a drink right is a good thing right? Well, the pizza was kind of cold and the reason why the slice was so big was because it was a double-dough pizza. Double dough is not a good idea, especially if its made with all white flour dough that has no texture (Think of Gino's East's corn meal-based crust. Now that's good texture.) Alright, so I tried this place again and had one of the California sandwiches with cream cheese, turkey, avocado and bacon bits on ciabatta. It wasn't bad. The cream cheese was pretty thick, the bacon was crispy and avocado on a sandwich is a good idea. However, the turkey, though thick, was too salty for my taste, and the ciabatta was lacking. Maybe a third time will be a charm for me? For their reasonable prices in this area, it's worth a try.

  • Kate W.

It's actually kind of remarkable how thoroughly mediocre the food is here. I got what I think was called a "Pomona" sandwich-- turkey with cajun dressing and assorted vegetables on honey-wheat bread. The bread was too dry to be flavorful. The turkey and vegetables were good, save a slightly questionable slice of avocado, but the sauce could have been spicier. My side of coleslaw was flaccid and unappetizing. My girlfriend's vegetarian sandwich was even more of a miss ("Making a bread shaped kind of like a ciabatta roll does not make it ciabatta"). Everything was perfectly edible, save for maybe the coleslaw, but none of it was particularly tasty. And it took forever. And it was 9 bucks for a sandwich and a drink. Honestly, I spent most of my time in this deli in a state of low key bewilderment. So many questions!! Why is a cajun turkey sandwich named after Pomona? It's a mystery. Indeed, what's with the Californian theme as a whole? The only Californian influence that I could discern was that basically everything on the menu is adorned with dingy, browning avocado (the ubiquity of irrational avocado is a pet peeve of mine). The walls are covered with unspeakably depressing murals of a presumably Californian beach and what could possibly be Venice (??). Why? I guess to position Rosati's food as Californian-style Italian. But what exactly IS Californian-style Italian? I think Rosati's needs to figure that one out and make it comprehensible to the rest of us. That, and why the restroom for customers is behind the counter and requires guests to trek through the kitchen through stacks of taco salad shells in order to access it. I would rather go to Jimmy John's and Jimmy John's is bleh.

Super fresh, abundant toppings on a thin crust that isn't soggy & delicious sauce. What more could you want in a pizza?

I wouldn't normally give a counter service establishment 5 stars, because it just seems wrong somehow, but I'll give 'em up for Rosati's. I work in the area and go to Rosati's probably 70% of the time when I go out for lunch. The employees are super friendly. I've always had fresh and perfectly proportioned ingredients on my sandwiches, and they are always willing to tailor to my liking. They appear to love the avocado as much as I do. Nice selection of veggie sandwiches. The pizza that they sell by the slice is called double-dough. It's a softer crust. I personally love it, but it's not for everyone. If you prefer cripsy thin cracker-like crust, this isn't the pizza for you. Of course, it's better when it's fresh in the display case. you should be able to tell by looking at it if it's been out long or not. They also have salads (their ranch dressing rocks!) chicken chili, desserts, soups, fruits and juices. They might seem a little pricey, but you do get a lot of food, and come on, it's River North!

Rosati's is a suburban institution, the go-to pizza parlor for take out on Friday nights. I thought I'd never pick up from Rosati's again since we moved back to the city. A few years after returning, I noticed this new location near LaSalle and Grand. I tried to ignore the "California Style Deli" portion and focused on my overwelming happiness; I would soon be eating a Rosati's pizza once again. I only order thin crust sausage and cheese pizza with toasted raviolis as an appetizer. The large raviolis are quite good. The pizza is also very good, but is often cold by the time we reach our home in Kenwood. This is a logistical problem, one that cannot be solved. Can we get a Rosati's down here please???

Ok so I've heard about this place as the Midwestern version of dominos. Im not sure if that's a good or bad thing but decided to give it a try. Tried the veggie non-deep dish and the lasagna which was super cheesy and smothered in a sweet and tangy marinara. Delivery man was as nice as can be. Ill definitely be ordering again...ppl pls don't compare it to dominos!

I had a friend in from out of town and we were riding our bikes through downtown when we got a little hungry. We all wanted a slice of pizza and noticed their sign for $5.00 slice of pizza and a drink. We walked into this really nice, modern, and very clean restaurant and had a good feeling about the place. They had a handful of pizzas to choose a slice from, of which, I choose the Italian Sausage. When I got my HUGE slice, I grabbed a Dr.Pepper (not too common to find fountain Dr.Pepper in Chicago) and dug right in. The crust was amazing, I see some people here say it is "undercooked", but this is exactly how the dough is supposed to be. The dough is so thick, fully cooked, so soft, and of course, delicious. The slice was not drowned in sauce, which I like. I like a light sauce and more toppings on my slice, and that is what I got. There was a more then generous amount of cheese and sausage on the slice. The sausage was very juicy and fresh tasting. All of the employees at Rosati's were super friendly and seemed to enjoy working there and taking care of their customers. I was glad I came across Rosati's and found a new pizza place to pop into. If you are downtown and want to stop your stomach from growling without upsetting your wallet, stop into Rosati's and treat yourself right.

Would this be my first recommendation for a sandwich shop in Chicago? Or my second? Or my third? None of the above. However, it's at the top of the places to go in River North for reasonably priced sandwiches with a menu that delivers diversity, consistency, and just plain good food. Large patio on LaSalle is very nice for a sandwich joint. Expect good service every time. They go out of their way to make you feel like a true patron. And, for delivery, you'll be calling them instead of Jimmy John's.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in here for lunch today. With relatively low expectations, I ordered the "Toro" chicken sandwich. What I got was some really good quality delicious (grilled) chicken, with melted provolone on top, between two pieces of focaccia bread and with a generous portion of awesome guacamole in the middle. It was a tasty sandwich. The only thing keeping this review from being an easy 4 stars is the fact that they didn't toast the bread.

On the street, looking for a pizza joint, I passed a few and decided on Rosati's. Well, I should have just kept walking. The staff really seemed uninterested, NOT that I need to be the center of attention. I also found my pizza to be bland and tasteless compared to the many other places I have been in Chicago. If you need a quick bite to eat, don't stop here. I am sure you could find much better.

Sure everyone makes mistakes, but a sorry goes a long way. ... Rosati's delivery system seems to be not only a little unorganized but not into apologizing for their mistakes. We ordered a big salad, and then roasted half chicken which comes with a nice side salad. The delivery man arrived in a somewhat timely fashion, we gave him the cash plus a nice tip, he gave us a bag with only the salads. It wasn't until we got upstairs and looked in the bag and discovered there was no chicken. We checked our receipt to make sure we ordered what we thought we ordered and paid for what we thought we were going to get... We realized it became "the case of the missing chicken." We called the restaurant. They put us on hold for 10 minutes. The woman came back to the phone and said the driver had "forgotten to deliver the chicken." No sorry, no apology. The chicken arrived with the delivery man 20 minutes later. The bag was very hot and leaking tons of oil. Again, no sorry, no apology. Granted, the chicken was hot so it was nice that it wasn't a cold chicken. However, who wants to eat their dinner in sections? And why so much oil? I hope they can re-organize their delivery system, because we were frankly pretty disappointed in Rosati's.

Rosati's makes a mean sandwich. But they do it with a smile on their face. The employees are personable, and hard working. The ingredients are all fresh and as a transplant from San Diego, I can appreciate the "California style" in their Deli. The Palo Alto Triple decker club is my personal favorite, with a side of some really great potato salad and a Pickle to top it off. I have all my buddies and cousins hooked on this place. They deliver for a small fee, but it's worth it on those cold Winter nights. They are BYOB too!

We got free lunch delivery to work (assuming they are trying to build the business in the area) and I was very impressed! Delivery included pizza, pasta salad, a variety of sandwiches, and desserts. As a vegetarian I was really happy with the tuna salad and all my colleagues really enjoyed the pizza! Will definitely order from here in the future and good to know there is such a variety!

I am consistenly pleased with Rosati's delivery. I usually place about 2-3 catering orders from Rosati's a month for group business lunches at work. I keep going back because they are always prompt and are very helpful and the deli sandwiches platters are always a crowd pleaser. Anyone was has been to an "in house business lunch" knows that the food is bland, boring, blah. Their speciality sandwich platter has lot of variety and for $7.99 and person (plus your choice of a side) its a great deal.

We have not dined in at this Rosati's...only delivery via GrubHub...but it's on our regular delivery rotation, now. Quick delivery. The sandwich selection is vast. I like the B.L.T.A. (BLT with Avocado on millet...although I do wish they would toast the bread.) The potato salad and coleslaw sides they serve with sandwiches are not so good. Just commercially made yuk. The ribs are just so-so. The fried chicken is surprisingly good. Onion rings and fried zucchini are excellent. The pizza is good, too...but it's not my go-to place for pizza. Definitely recommended.

My office orders stuff from here all the time. Many people just love it. I'm wondering why I would spend $6-8 on a sandwich that I could make at home. And there is better pizza out there, its okay, but not great. They do have whole wheat pizza, which it a big plus

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you for freeing me from the tyranny of giordano's when ordering stuffed pizzas. Truly, you have opened my eyes to good stuffed pizza. WIth that said I would still hit up Pizza Hut/Domino's over you when I want something other than stuffed pizza. You are my trusty Plan B.

Had the reuben for lunch. I was just happy to get out of the office I've been working in. The reuben was alright. Nothing spectacular. They made it seem bigger than it was by adding more sauerkraut and less corned beef. The potato salad was alright. All, and I do mean ALL, the fountain drinks were watered down. They are skimping on the syrup side. And those BIBs are cheap too! So Why? My meal was the day's special. It cost a little over $7. Not worth it.

this place is good. they have everything (pizza, burgers, fries, salads, chicken sandwiches, toasted ravioli etc.) and they have parking which is why I tried the place. I really liked what I tasted and would go back in a heartbeat.

Rosati's is our go-to for thin crust pizza. We always order cheese with mushrooms, bacon, pepperoni & onions and it is taaaaasty! The sauce is fantastic and the bacon is so crispy - they give you slices, not bits. The cheese is nice & gooey and the whole combo is just so very good...especially the middle slices - yum!! We like to order a larger pizza than normal because the leftovers heat up really well for another dinner and lunch (yep, a lot of leftovers!). Delivery can take awhile sometimes, but overall it is definitely worth it.

I love this place!! If you're in the mood for some good all-American cuisine made brilliantly, check out Rosati's for sure. They have incredible sandwiches on their menu but if you're picky (like me), they are willing to do anything you like in order to make you your perfect sandwich. I appreciate the willingness to substitute. If you're not in the mood for sandwiches or salads, they also have a great little entree menu with Fried Chicken (pretty delicious), Lasagna, Fried Shrimp, Pizza, etc. This is a great place to order in from and it is also a great resource for office catering - I utilize them a lot for this purpose actually. Check it out!

Great customer service. We ordered (through GrubHub) 3 sandwiches but did not receive the sides. The owner answered the phone when I called and was very apologetic and offered right away to either credit the missing sides or have them delivered. The food was tasty. We'll definitely be ordering from them again!

When I order food, 95 percent of the time it comes from here. I am a fan of the super thin crust, lower fat cheese pizza. There are many other menu choices though. For ranch lovers, they make homemade ranch dressing! Great salads, wraps, cold and hot sandwiches, and appetizers. You can build your own sandwich. Their panzerottis are basically a delicious Calzone. They have quick delivery, which I usually order online through grubhub.com . I would give them five stars, but they have messed up a few orders over a long period of time. And they sometimes ask for cash when I have given them my credit card number for a credit transaction. Although they clear it up quickly and just have me sign the receipt. Great food, good service! You must try it.

This is our standard pizza delivery place. Nothing overly-amazing, but consistently good pizza in under an hour. Sometimes, the delivery takes longer than we'd like, but that's sometimes what you get in Chicago. You can order salads and sandwiches as well, which is nice when you can't get a group consensus.

I was dying to try this place because of the great location and the "California Style Pizza" pitch. It wasn't bad, but two other tables returned their food. One girl found mold on her croissant sandwich and was gagging and asking for water. Another person found hair in their house salad. So I was getting kind of grossed out sitting their eating my HUGE piece of pizza. It was hard to keep my mind on my own experience.

Just went there with my wife and we had a reuben and rachel, respectively, with potato salad and cole slaw. We ordered at the counter and it was only a few minutes before the food was brought to our table. Food was solid, especially for the price, filling but not unbelievably large. Potato salad was creamy, almost to the consistency of mashed potatoes, but good. Definitely plan to go there again for lunch and perhaps try some pizza.

Yeaaaa boi!

They have salad options that come in tortilla bowls as well as some of the best fries I've ever had...whhich I've noticed are always fried to order.. so good.

  • Raw S.

Underwhelming. Only people there (this should've been a sign) and it took us half hour to get our two sandwiches we'd gotten to go. They were mediocre at best, subway would've been a better call.

SUPER RUDE! we were told a 45 minute wait and after waiting over an hour we called with no help from the worker who answered the phone. she put me on hold for a few minutes then after finding out what i was inquiring about, put me on another 2 minute hold. when I finally was able to ask about our delivery time, she told me "it will be there soon" and hung up.
