No issues here. I am not sure why the ratings are so low here. It is a chain restaurant in an airport. It's not supposed to be gourmet. My mom and I both ordered a yummy soup to start off our meal. Then I ordered lobster ravioli and she got a balsamic chicken salad. Both were great. Better than I expected in an airport. A server dropped a full pint of beer which shattered and plastered all over. My new Vera bag got some beer on it. The manager came over and apologized. He offered to comp our check which was really nice. Service was great and our waitress was super friendly.

Average at best. Stopped by for breakfast, thinking this place might be a step above the food court. While the ambiance is more relaxing than the bustle of the airport, the food leaves something to be desired. I had scrambled eggs, toast, and roast potatoes. Generally ok, with the exception of the potatoes which had a hint of bacon flavor... note: I intentionally didn't order bacon, so didn't appreciate that they had been cooked together. Anyway, if you find yourself looking for a place to escape the flow of the terminal foot traffic, and don't have high expectations for breakfast, then you might enjoy your meal here.

Quickly seated and bread and water within one minute. I ordered the Chardonnay blend wine and won't do that again. My chicken scaloppine came quickly and the dish was hot and lots of sauce. I asked for extra lemon and that made it have more flavor. Plenty of capers but only one tough piece of artichoke Generally it was good but my waiter was too busy to even check on me I had to ask other servers for what I needed. Not bad but not great.

For an airport restaurant you can't do better. Quick seating and fast service. Parmesan crusted chicken salad was the best I have had in a long time. Soup of. the day , roasted mushroom was excellent, very creamy and satisfying. They started our meal with a small loaf of warm seasoned bread. I will definitely make this my O'Hare meal destination.

Romano's Macaroni Grill works just fine if you find yourself with hunger pangs at O'Hare. I stopped in here between flights from coast to coast. O'Hare is all kinds of awful in all kinds of ways but at least the food options are stomachable for the most part if you stay out of the food courts. I was able to be seated right away and decided that I would give the Lasagna Bolognese a whirl since it has been years since I have had Lasagna. The dish is about as straight forward as it gets: Lasagna Noodles, Bolognese sauce, Italian Sausage, Ricotta, Grana Padano and of course Pomodoro sauce draping over everything. The flavors of the ingredients and seasonings were all well represented and the plating was pretty impressive for what I would was expecting at the time. Usually I detest large box chain restaurant fare but Romano's Macaroni Grill seemed to defy my biases. Honestly, I was happily surprised with the quality of both the cuisine along with the table service and considering this was in an airport maybe I should up my expectations going forward.

Macaroni Grill is ok generally as a chain, but this one seems to be below par for the chains standard. Give them a little credit that they are in the airport, but for people with quick time frames and planes to catch, consider the quick serve options. But beware, because they aren't always stocked and the cooler always looks picked over with one salad here or one wrap there. So, even there, choices are limited. There are better options,as Chicago O'Hare does a good job of food choices and varieties in the airport. While the food is good, the servers seem scattered and unorganized and your wait time can be exorbanant. On the other hand, if you have a long wait, this might be the place for you.

Awful food!!! Server Diane was not welcoming and made it feel like you were at a bar back in the woods in Fargo! I would highly suggest not eating here for breakfast I had toast with the jelly that was on the table and literally had to spit it out! Does Jelly expire??? Apparently this one did. I need my MSP airport for good food!

Horrible experience! I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo which is kind of hard to mess up... Unless your chicken doesn't like like chicken. It looked gray in color and unfortunately I didn't notice until after eating half of it because it was covered in sauce. I spent the rest of the night throwing up :-(. Never again at least at this location.

I've been a fan of this chain for a very long time. Unfortunately, there isn't a store in Alaska. I passed through ORD on my way back home, and I was glad I had a long layover. All good...can't go wrong.

Huge piece of garlic rosemary bread with olive oil upon seating. Yum. Chianti was excellent. I had the spinach shrimp salad. It was good but soooooo salty. Service was good.

Solid venue for lunch or dinner while whiling away the hours as you wait your connecting or delayed flight to depart. I always sit at the bar as there is usually a game on the television. Typical high airport prices but the food and atmosphere is a nice escape from the food court hell. I usually opt for one of their salads. I especially like the crusted chicken salad. their individual pizzas are a good option as well. Pasta dishes are OK as well. They do get busy and I've seen lines out the door.

Service was good. Food presentation was bad. Looked like leftovers from other patrons had been plated for my meal. Meatballs were approaching horrible. Bread was somewhat stale. They are surviving off of location.

We dropped in for a quick lunch. It turned into a bizarre theatre of the absurd. I don't know where to begin. The busser was finding extraordinary ways to be useless. Wandering with two glasses from one table to another where he would grab a plate - do not mistake me, there was more than one plate. He was only interested in one. In the 50 minutes we waited from seating to food arriving, the equivalent of one whole table was cleared -- spread among three whole tables. In that time, not a single table was reset. Not one. It was a positively delightful absurdity. Our waitress expressed her absolute indifference to her job as server by introducing herself with, "so, i guess you're in my section." Her unabashed lackadaisical attitude was a refreshing take on the usual pleasant and warm demeanor I have become used to at middle tier chain restaurants. Her counterpart on the floor showed some real strength by actually making two cell phone calls while on the floor. I mean, I am unsure I have ever seen someone so willing to disregard the staple rule of all restaurants everywhere. My favorite part of this theatre of the absurd was watching the 11:30 lunch crowd pile into a line of almost 20 people, before dwindling down to 3. Then rising back to 20, before people took hold of their senses and went to any number of options. I wished I had been fortunate enough to walk away. The food was delightfully lukewarm. This was a happy circumstance, since its creation was so long in the taking that we almost missed our connecting flight. But who can't use a good run after some pasta, perhaps it was all some sort of deviant subversion. In all my years of working in restaurants, I have never seen such a wonderful miasma of inefficiencies, incompetencies, and irrelevancies. Well done.

My experience was meh. The service was great. My waitress was polite, informative, got my drink out and refilled quickly, and my food was brought out in a timely manner even when they were packed. Now for the bad. The food was horribly. The bread was dry, horrible flavor, and definitely seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. I ordered a simple chicken Caesar salad. It was DRENCHED in dressing. The dressing thankfully was delicious. The lettuce seemed a bit old and wilted. The chicken was the worst part. I paid an extra $3.50 for what I can only assume was frozen chicken with fake grill marks that was reheated in a microwave. It was dry, bland, and made the salad worse. $13.50 for that was not worth it at all. The wait staff and fact that they had a few tables near electrical outlets for travelers to charge their phones and laptops were the only redeeming qualities.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
