Pizano’s Pizza & Pasta Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

In the restaurant, the service is alright, as it should be since there is NEVER anyone there to dine in. They don't have real sodas, no Coke, no Pepsi, just cola. The deep dish is alright, not the best, not the worst. The thin crust is great, and that almost gave it a four star. Good place, but not great. If you're a tourist you'll love it, but if you're from Chicago, it'll suck.

Wow, I'm pretty shocked at the super low reviews for this location. Sure it's not, OMG THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER, but I'm a fan. Let me count the ways... This past Saturday was the 2nd time the boyfriend and I have been here. Both times have been late (around 11pm), and both have been Saturday nights. You know how sometimes you get that late-night hankering for a pizza? And you don't want delivery, but you want to be able to leisurely eat it in a cool sit-down atmosphere? You don't want to deal with drunken fools at Pizza-by-the-slice places. You don't want a heavy deep dish, but a decent thin crust. None of the brick oven baked pizza places are ever open past 10pm. This is where Pizano's comes in! On the two occasions I was here, it was relatively empty, with just a few patrons at the bar and couple tables taken. This last time service was awesome! Our server was this funny dude (I forgot his name) that always checked up on us. We ordered their buffalo wings and the Rudy's Special pizza (sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions). Their wings were pretty standard bar wings. And for thin crust pizza, it's actually pretty good. It was cheesy, not too heavy with the sauce. Toppings were good. Beer list was small, but they had good local beers on tap. I was full. I was satisfied. I went home happy. I can be a pizza snob and I have my favorite places to go. But when I'm in Lincoln Park and I find myself in this same late-night situation, Pizano's does the job.

This is the worst thin crust pizza I have ever had. The service is the only thing giving Pizanos two stars. The crust is dry and flavorless and over cooked. I think Ive had better gas station pizza in the boonies than this. Sad excuse for a Chicago pizzeria. Lincoln Park! Baccinos is right down the street and is a million times better...or ya know even pizza hut would beat this.

I walked in today into an empty restaurant on a Sunday at 2:00 pm that alone was a big Red flag. I personally should have known the minute I walked in I would be getting some dry old stale pizza and to my surprise that is exactly what I got. I asked if the pizza was fresh Wich the counter guy reply " yes" He had personally made it Today" . Having worked in restaurants I opened my pizza box and found a dry crusty dead little so call deep dish portion that I was close to purchasing . I ask for my money back and walk out truly disappointed in the service and quality of this establishment. What a shame to all Lincoln Park residents to have to eat dry dull dough and sauce . I expect Quality being up north Boy was I wrong.

Great crunchy thin crust meat lovers Pizza and good cocktail and beer menu. It's open late and the place has valet parking for $10. (We were able to find street parking) The waiter was very nice. The only thing is that it takes 30 to 40 mins for the pizza to be ready, but it didn't really matter since we ordered drinks and watch the game on TV.

The absolute best thin crust in Chicago! Undoubtedly the best customer service in Lincoln Park. From the slices ready all the time to the mozzarella sticks... I haven't had a bad thing. I'm a regular, you should be to :-)

Best thin crust in the city. Very buttery, flaky crust. Opera Winfrey and I have similar taste.

My wife and I wanted to grab some lunch before heading to Shedd. It was a Saturday afternoon (around 1) and the place was dead. Our server whose name escapes me was very friendly. She was quick about getting our drinks. Some things put us off. -Off brand sodas do not taste like name brand sodas. -The pasta was not very good, heck my wife didn't even elect to take the leftovers home. She only ate a few bites. I was dissaspointed. +The burger was actually pretty good and I did eat the whole thing. -The prices seemed a bit steep for the quality of the food. I think we'll pass next time we're in Chicago.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS. I had it for the first time from the loop location so I was excited for gf pizza again. First problem....my order was confirmed at 622pm.....the delivery guy showed up at 753pm. Second problem...the delivery guy kept yelling "LADY" at me. I literally asked him, as I opened the door, if he's always that rude to his customers. I wish I could have adjusted my online tipping. Third problem....it was luke-warm when I received it. All of it. Fourth problem...the pizza tasted like frozen pizza. There was no seasoning on it like the loop location. I barely ate 1 piece and threw it away. I wish I had known and could get my money back. I should be writing a paper for my MBA and enjoying some pizza but I'm so appalled by the food I had to write a review.

First time at Pizano's today. SO impressed with the thin crust. It was not what I expected, but it was even better! If you like Chicago deep dish, you will like their thin crust...it is like a thinner version of deep dish. The crust was awesome and I felt better about splurging on the calories by eating less carbs. It was a win win! Our server, Nika, was on the ball and very classy too. Very impressed! PS. I am a pizza snob, so you can trust my review...give it a try!

This place is great! They have delicious deep dish pizza. Their marinara sauce is super fresh and truly makes the pizza outstanding. They are also open really late which is a bonus for us! Definitely try it!!

Super surprised by the low reviews. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything here! The service was prompt and personable. The food was very tasty and delicious! Finished off our meal with a scrumptious deep dish chocolate chip cookie with all the fixins! The yummiest! Would absolutely highly recommend this restaurant!

The Lincoln location is horrible. I know what the pizza should taste like and this location can't get orders or cooking done properly. They either missed deliver the order given, over charge and under ingredient and or over under cook the food. Pretty disappointed considering what is available on state St.

Came here late on a Saturday night. Not a lot of people so the service was great. we shared a pie and it was quite good. Thin crust with lots of toppings. The apps were average fried bar food. As for the best thin crust in the city. Miss O needs to get out more! The atmosphere was college bar with sidewalk tables. If I was in the are I would stop back by to try their other offerings.

Pizza is okay, nothing great. Service, while usually friendly, is always haphazard and the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food. Plenty of other options for pizza in the area.

I'm a South suburban guy but when I'm in the area I will stop in at art of pizza for an awesome stuffed pizza slice. This time I made a mistake and tried Pizano's on Lincoln Avenue instead. Very bad mistake. I called ahead to see if they sold slices and she said that she just sold the last two sausage deep dish slices. I figured the half hour later when I arrived maybe they would've made another one. No such luck but they had pepperoni. "i'll take it" I said. "13 bucks" she said. "Forget it" I then said. Well then she explained how it was actually like a small and there was two pieces and I said that's okay it's still too much money and then she said how about "one" for six and change. I was hungry and I said yes. I'm not sure what kind of nut and game she was playing because what I opened in the car was a small pizza with two pieces as she had described - What she may be trying to force two on me when I asked for one? I'm not sure but either way I'd be surprised if that pizza was made anytime today. Advertised as hot and ready pizza slices - they got it half right - it was ready alright - for the dumpster. Sure it tasted like it might've been good if/when it was fresh but one of the many reasons you sell slices is to sample people so they'll come back and buy a whole pie-which in this case will NEVER happen. I guess all the rave reviews went to their head

I LOVE Pizanos better than Geno's. Lou Malnati's or Giordanos. This place has it all. Great food, nice bar, friendly servers, cool patrons and interesting ambience. We had pizza & salad, beer & wine. Just the basics, and it was oh, so good. Ditch the other pizzarias and come here.

I came here with some friends on a Saturday night around 11PM. We were the only guests in the restaurant, and while our server was friendly, she was not attentive enough especially considering she had no other customers. I chose to write a review because the food I was served was DISGUSTING. I am not usually compelled to make the effort to write a Yelp review, but I wanted to give a fair warning to anyone out there who might come across this when deciding to eat at Pizano's on Lincoln or not. First, my table ordered the spinach artichoke dip which might have tasted decent, had it not been served to us lukewarm at best. The bread it was served with was okay, but how do you mess up bread? My friends' entrees were nothing to write home about, but mine certainly was. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and it was the nastiest thing I've ever eaten in Chicago after having lived here for 3 years of many drunken trips to Taco Bell. Also one time I drank a mouthful of Mountain Dew with a cricket inside on accident. Granted, Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches are wonderful-in-concept, kind-of-gross-in-execution eating fare, but whoever put together the "sandwich" I was served on Saturday night had to have been making a real effort to be so bad. So, to break down the beautiful-in-concept Chicken Parm Sandwich I had at P izano's: Chicken. Old. Everyone who has ever eaten chicken, which is everyone, knows what old chicken tastes like. This could only have been week-old chicken breast, which someone nuked in a microwave maybe halfway to a decently hot temperature, dropped on a dirty kitchen floor, then hastily scooped between two pieces of Hoagie... Bread. If not soggy in old meat juices, then stale with the crunch of crusty old feet-bread. All topped off with... Sauce. Red pasta sauces are not known for their elegance, but at least do better than "It's Sloppy Joe day in the cafeteria at an underfunded elementary school". The sauce that covered my sandwich was in three parts: 1) greyish meat chunks 2) translucent red chunks of probably expired canned tomato 3) aforementioned old meat grease. MMMMMMM!! I was ravenous for this meal, so it would have been that much harder to do wrong. I would have gladly eaten a piece of cardboard I was so hungry. Actually, I would have rather eaten a piece of cardboard than the travesty I attempted to ingest. Even if I had been of the typical eating crowd for a Saturday night (read: wasted and with impaired tastebuds), I still wouldn't have stomached the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. Learn from me.

I'm so glad this placed opened in the neighborhood! I've had Pizano's pizza for years, both in the Loop and in Wrigleyville, but there was never a convenient one near Lincoln Park. For me, they have juuuuust the right thickness of crust on their thin-crust pizza. It's not crispy cracker thin (which I like, but not all the time), nor is it deep or stuffed (which I love, but only once in a while). It's the perfect balance between too thin and too thick. And they cut it in squares, as God intended. Reading the other reviews, it looks as if this location might have had some startup troubles, which wouldn't be surprising. But as of this writing (mid-May 2014) there were no issues with our visit, and everything was running smoothly and tasting delicious.

First things first, I LOVE pizano's thin crust pizza. It's wonderful and if you eat at any of the downtown locations you will not be disappointed. Sadly, the lincoln park location really doesn't deserve to carry the Pizano's name :( After reading all of the previous yelp reviews, and against my better judgement, we decided to go for it. Nothing better than your favorite pizza and Sunday football, right? Having had Pizano's before we knew it would take a bit longer- email they sent us estimated 45-60 min for delivery, took about 80 (not terrible but not awesome). Maybe it's the fact that it was delivered, but the crust was more soggy than normal In spots, and crispy in others- overall very unevenly cooked. Also ordered a salad that was missing toppings listed on the menu and our side of meatballs were cold. All in all, is this the worst pizza/dining experience I've ever had? No. But there were plenty of other cheaper and better options that I shoulda opted for. You live you learn.

Went here last night and got there about 6:10. Was told to sit "wherever" - a word which never fails to get my back up. We sat and a waiter came over about 5 minutes later. Told him we needed to leave by 7:20. I ordered a diet coke, but got regular. At 6:22 placed an order for a large thin crust veggie pizza. Waiter said 30 minutes. At 7:00, he came back to say 10 more minutes. Pizza was great and piping hot - so much so that we each got to eat one slice before we had to run. Excuses for why it took nearly twice as long as promised were lame. Crust was fab - if you like Malnati's, this is the same. Toppings are embarrassingly skimpy - veggies cut so small you can't see them and wind up really wet. Next time, I'll preorder the pizza to avoid a time crunch.

We ordered a medium thin crust pizza and were told that it would be an hour. An hour and ten goes by, so I call to inquire. Pizano's tells me the delivery guy just left. I call again ten more minutes later, and Pizano's tells me that the delivery man is just about to leave. I'm A) hungry; and B) just mad that I've been bamboozled for an hour and 30. Never again.

Had heard great things. Was mostly disappointed although the appetizers are sensational. My real issue was the deep dish which comes like all deep dish should in a deep pan but about 3/4 of what's in the pan is crust. I've had a few thin crust pizzas deeper and you can certainly get little caesars regular which is deeper. Not much cheese, little sauce and yeah no thanks. This is what you expect as a Tuscon version of deep dish or some seattle restaurant, not a chicago institution. Did like how the interior was old school and the maitre d was wonderful. Appetizers only recommended.

The best thin crust pizza in the city! If you come here I HIGHLY recommend their thin crust pizza. I first decided to order thin crust (I know, I know, in Chicago you get deep dish but hear me out) when I read on the menu that it was Oprah's favorite thin crust in the city. I thought, "Well, why not give it a try? I'm pretty stuck in the mud about Lou's being the best deep dish so it seemed like a good choice." It was. Their thin crust is different than any other that I have ever tried. The crust is the same as the buttery, crunchy deep dish crust and they load it with cheese. That crust is what makes this the BEST thin crust pizza in the city. You can only imagine how excited I was when I found out that there was a Pizano's opening in my neighborhood. It was always a treat to drive to their other locations to pick-up carry out or to stop by when I happened to be in the area, but now I can satisfy my thin crust pizza cravings at any time! This location was carryout only until recently. Now they have a restaurant and when I went about one month ago they were working on getting their permit for patio seating (and they will allow dogs on the patio). This is super exciting for me since I have a dog that loves to dine with me. :) Why not five stars? It's Chicago and that is reserved for my favorite deep dish pizza restaurant. But seriously, this IS awesome thin crust pizza... try it and I bet you'll agree.

This place is a joke I went in there to order a slice of pizza and I was totally ignored I asked for the slice of pizza and the guy at the counter said wait a minute I'm counting my drawer after waiting for about 5 minutes I just left there's so much animosity in their place that is ridiculous no wonder the place is always empty the management is a joke everybody is always acting like they're busy but the place is always empty the pizza is OK actually I think they used too much butter some guy was yelling at one of the bartenders and the girl was crying I don't think its proper to do that in front of the customers I'll never go in there again!

I love Pizano's. It's my favorite pizza in Chicago. I like to go to the one on State street and pick up from the one in Glenview on my way home from work. So how excited was I to have one open close enough to deliver to me? Well, my excitement is gone now. They have killed it! I ordered online tonight. I received an email that my order would arrive in 45 to 60 minutes. When 1.5 hours passed I did an online chat with Eat24, the company they use to do online ordering from their own website. The person said that he called the restaurant and the driver was on the way. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to this restaurant however the food did not arrive until two hour and 10 minutes after we ordered! This is not ok! If I was told that it would take 2 hours, I would have not been as upset. But to get cold pizza after 2 hours and 10 minutes is not cool. I guess we won't be ordering from here again...

Awful. Went here after a show at Lincoln Hall. One slice of pepperoni pizza was $6! After I got over my sticker shock, I figured it's got to be some kind of massive slice....right? Wrong. A little piece with few toppings and a complete lacking of flavor in the crust. What a waste. There are too many options in the area to get ripped off.

Beware: smelly disgusting pizza! After moving into my new apartment, my girlfriend and I got a pizza from this place since it is in the neighborhood. The wait to pick up a thin crust pizza was 30 minutes - not terrible, but certainly could be faster. When we got home we started eating the pizza. Soon, a foul stench presented itself. At first I thought something was rotting in the kitchen. We spent a couple minutes looking for the source of the smell and then it hit us. It was the pizza. This pizza was one of the worst smelling things I have smelled in my life. Eating it was nearly impossible because of the smell. After thinking about it for some time, I've determined that the smell was akin to the scent of a garbage truck passing by, combined with a bit of throw up. After tossing the pizza, my apartment still smells terrible. Now I've got to air out and febreeze my brand new place...

My theater company performs every Saturday night at the Greenhouse Theater Center just up the street. When we emerge from that venue after midnight each weekend, the crew and I are usually interested in getting a drink and maybe a bite to eat. The problem is that all of those bars along Lincoln Avenue are catered toward the preening, amateurish DePaul crowd. The establishments are loud and expensive and frankly nauseating. One of my company members last week said we should walk up to Pizano's instead, and OH MY GOODNESS. The bar/restaurant had soft lighting, a soundtrack of 80s and 90s hits calibrated to a volume that provided a great background without requiring any of us to raise our voices to speak to each other, the delicious smell of pizza, and $5 PINTS OF SANGRIA! We arrived about 12:30AM, and my group of 4 was immediately shown to a table. There were maybe 8 other people in the place when we walked in. PERFECT. In addition to the round(s) of sangrias, we ordered a large thin-crust Vegetarian Special pizza. It took nearly 40 minutes to get it, which we thought was curious when there was really nobody else in the restaurant. But when it came, it was hot and fresh and hit the spot. Our server was perky, considerate and very attentive. "Seriously," we asked ourselves, "are we still on Lincoln Avenue?" We were way too used to getting ignored by rude, overworked bartenders down the street. NEVER AGAIN. Pizano's gave us exactly what we wanted for post-theater beverages and grub. Our return business is absolutely assured.

Ordered Pizano's late night this past weekend with a group of friends. It was wonderful! We ordered 1 sausage and 1 pepperoni thin crust pizza. The pepperoni was my favorite, but the sausage was also great. The thin crust is much thicker than typical thin crust... Buttery and perfectly crispy! I will definitely order again. Only complaint was that it took over an hour to arrive and it was a bit pricy.

28 bucks for a large, thin-crust, barely luke-warm pizza that took 2 hours to arrive? No thanks.

Ordered a wide range of entries from pizanos Express in Lincoln Park. The range of good food in the area has plummeted so I needed to see if this place could make a pizza and make me some pasta. I am sorry to say that the pizza was subpar. The price point was extremely high about 70 percent higher than Lou Malnati's which is the king of pizza in my book. The quality of the food was terrible. The delivery took a long time and was packaged nicely. I ordered gnocci which was just ok a little too creamy for me my wife ordered the ravioli with butternut squash which was just ok nothing remarkable for thirteen to fifteen dollars. Thin crust was edible and probably about 70 percent is good as Lou Malnati's th the thick crust was a complete and utter expensive failure. I'm really sorry to have to say this but I don't know if I can go back there. ONE GOOD THING I AM ADDING .......They are open late and their sandwiches are ok. Thanks for being open late. Gave you a star for that.

I so wish to be able to increase my rating here, but I can't. Came in once again to the take out counter, and they said one slice left, and won't make others, thus making us order a full, more expensive pizza. Boggles my mind if you have three people, who want a slice, how you can't make one more pizza that becomes a slice per person to go along with the one left. The cashier proceeded to give us attitude, saying we could deliver food (as we sat there in person), which would take an hour and thirty minutes at a minimum

Really not very good. Bland and very little cheese. Crap for service too... Not once staff remember was memorable.

Stopped by after a show on NYE. Great food and great service. Our waiter Mike, who knew his stuff and kept us laughing, recommended the Mark's special because we told him we love margherita pizza. The pizzas take a while to cook but he warned us ahead of time and it was well worth the wait. We had drafts while we were waiting, recommended by Mike. A decent draft selection for a pizza place. If you're ever in Lincoln Park, give this place a try!

What a perfect location, next to the Victory Gardens theater and just north of the Greenhouse theater. We were immediately greeted with a smile and seated at a table close to the huge, open sliding wall window so it felt like we were dining al fresco without the direct sun. Bridget was a friendly and efficient server, and even kept our left overs cool in the refrigerator while we attended the theater. The chopped salad was fresh and crisp- the large big enough for three to split. The pizza is perfection. The crust is crisp, thicker that a cracker, and thinner than doughy deep dish with fresh ingredients and seasonings to please (not pound) the palate. As a native Chicagoan, I decided right then and there, Pizano's pizza is my favorite!

I've always loved their locations in the Loop and Gold Coast so when I saw this store open so close to my home, I was thrilled. My waist line, not so much, but whatev. Simply put, the food and service is outstanding and even more important, reliable. You know what you're getting each time you order. The manager, Chris makes a big, genuine effort to get to know his new local customers and talks to us about what they're doing right, what would we want to see, etc. That level of engagement is not common but really should be as it's a smart way to do business. I generally order as I'm leaving work and the pizza is always done by the time I was told over the phone. They keep it warm for you until the moment you pick it up so when I'm walking home it's so hot I can't hold it under my hand the whole three blocks I'm carrying it. They are only pick up and delivery - I'd have loved to see a full restaurant and bar, but once you see the space, it's not that big - the kitchen takes up about 80% of the building. And there's a high minimum on credit cards, I think $15 or $20 but they tell you that over the phone. Overall, I will be (already am?) a regular at this pizza joint.

I gave two stars because the order taker at the carry out window and the bartender were very nice. Also they let me eat my slices at the bar even though slices are for carry out only. Unfortunately, I had two slices of pepperoni and it's near the worst pizza I have ever had! Maybe the cheap Tony's pizza from the freezer is worse. I like thin crust. I'm from St. Louis which has Imo's and I love Chicago's Home Run Inn pizza. This pizza had a thick, rock hard crust. no chew to it at all just crunch it up like a really thick cracker. the toppings were thin, the sauce was a dried out paste and the cheese was also dry and hard. I can't believe this is how it's supposed to be, but if it is and this is what people like.....wtf?

This restaurant is receiving a "1 star" rating from me because they refused to accept a $50 gift card we had to their restaurant. The manager told us the machine hadn't yet been set up to accept the cards. How can a business issue gift cards and then refuse to accept them? It is completely unacceptable and I will not be recommending this establishment anytime soon.

Not worth being called pizza!!! The chicken seems like it came from a can of Friskies. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and didn't taste a hint of BBQ or anything resembling flavor. Don't waste your money for overpriced nastiness!!!

Love this place! The eat-in portion of the restaurant is clean and cute. My parents came to visit and we ended up going there two nights in a row for dinner. The service was great! Can't wait to go back.

I once got a Rudy's special thin crust no mushrooms from the Madison location. It was excellent. After finding out about this north side delivery place I placed an order for one during the Bears game. It came hot and just like the one I had downtown. High quality, real cheese. Same crispy, biscuit buttery crust. Superior sausage and great sauce. This is food. Not some crap with too much added sugar. So happy I can now get this at home! Cheers, Pizano's!

Just got our pizza delivered and it's so poorly made we can't even grab a slice without it completely falling apart. The cheese is cold, and our Caesar salad is terrible. This is by far one of the worst delivery pizza experiences I've had, especially since they charge an arm and a leg for this.

Ordered at 7:30pm on a Thursday night. Was quoted a delivery time of 45-60 minutes. 8:15 goes by. Nothing. 8:30. 8:45. Was told at 845pm that the driver 'left a couple minutes ago' and should be pulling up 'momentarily.' 9:00. 9:15. Nothing. Called AGAIN. Was told that the driver got lost, and she'd be there in '7 minutes.' 9:20. 9:25. 9:30. Finally, TWO HOURS LATER, she shows up. Hands me the box for a thin crust and order of garlic bread. Ice cold. Call the restaurant again. Get told, 'yeah...I figured it would be since it's been so long.' WHY THE HELL DID YOU SEND IT OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU KNEW IT WOULD BE COLD BY THE TIME IT GOT TO ME?!?!? Got my entire order refunded. Will NEVER be ordering from Pizano's in Lincoln Park ever again...and likely will avoid their Loop locations now as well.

So this review is pretty simple. I called to order food just now, and the employee told me after I placed my order that they are not accepting money. Just a credit card. It always amazes me when restaurants go out of their way to turn away business. Well, they just turned away mine for a long time.

Had my sons 20th birthday party in the party room. AMAZING! Food was outstanding and the staff, especially Jaimie (our server) and Nora (GM) who did absolutely everything possible to make sure our event was memorable. They made us feel as if we had the event at a family members home. BEST PIZZA we've ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly be back.

Was told one hour for delivery. We are at two hours right now. Unreal. They need to properly staff themselves or get out of the delivery business. I love their za, but this is insane to me. At least they knocked off one pizza, but still insanity.

Disclaimer: I didn't have the pizza. Over the years, I have trudged through delivery pasta and come to accept that it's all terrible. It's just never good. I never finish it. But Pizano's delivered a delicious, large portion of pasta to my front door which I absolutely devoured. Quick and polite delivery, too. My only negative is that they have a high delivery minimum - but that can be rectified by stopping in on my way home from work at night. Simple enough.

I wanted to try someplace new for pizza and have been wanting to try Pizano's. I ordered a one medium thin specialty pizza, a large thin pepperoni and onion, and a Caesar salad, which came to over $50! Came in to pick it up and had to wait 20 minutes past the 30-35 minutes they told me it would be. I was offered a soda for my trouble, but I didn't want it and it didn't make me feel any better about about the wait. They said my order was late because they were busy with deliveries, but the place didn't seem busy, and I am sure the didn't make my order until I got there. Pizza crust reminds me of Home Run Inn or Lou Malnati's. Not my favorite style, but decent and different. Bad price, poor service, and only ok pizza. I won't be back.

Finally good pizza for delivery. When I stay in the city I find myself frequently ordering pizzas from places that only disappoint. I was exceptionally satisfied with the flavor and the way it was cooked...awesome thin crust! FYI adding garlic is the best thing you can do.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
