JJ's is so good! Decor: It's a Jimmy John's: seen one and you've seen 'em all. But that isn't bad, it's clean, inviting, and well lit. There are a few tables, too, if you want to stay there and eat. Bathroom: I didn't use it during this visit. Staff: The cashier girl was super friendly and welcoming and the sandwich makers were FAST (as usual!). I was in and out very quickly and that is just another reason I love JJ's. Food/Drink: The sandwiches are delicious. Seriously, they are absolutely the BEST when it comes to franchised delis. In fact, I'd say they are, on certain points, better than the local delis in town. Yes, they are THAT GOOD! I always, always get The Gargantuan and this time was no different - it was glorious. Value: GREAT bang for your buck here. Wonderful value! I will always come back for more, this place is awesome.

It's Jimmy Johns. If you've been to one, you know what the food is like. This location is clean and the staff is fine. It's usually a toss up between this location and the one in Ogilvie for me. Ogilvie tends to be less crowded, so I go there more. They aren't slow here, though, just a bit busier. This location has more seating and has a couple tables outside in the summer, which is nice if you're meeting people.

Never had problems with JJ.. I've loved them ever since college (EIU). I love the bread, the coco chop cookies, and the chips. I don't think the have jalapeno chips anymore but that is ok. Can't be it.. The place was just like any other. Great food, great service, and great location.

My first time here was on $1 sandwich day. They were so fast I freaked. Even with a line out the door. I also try to soak up as much of the "free smells" as I can while I'm there.

Hey Subway! Yeah, you know which one you are! Pay very close attention! Fast and efficent service Friendly staff Fine sandwich bread and ingredients Clean shop No sketchy day-to-day price fluctuations These are just a few of the reasons why Jimmy Johns is better than the Subway it's across the street from. This is an extremely well-run joint, and I'll continue to venture here often.

Online ordering AND delivery of ONE sandwich for lunch?! BRILLIANT! When it's sweltering and nauseatingly hot outside, I sometimes don't eat (or don't go out) because I'm too delicate to be beaten by the cruel, cruel sun. I just can't stand it. Today, I ordered my sandwich online. Quick and easy! There are also vegetable choices here (cucumber, sprouts) that I never think of getting in the store (where I often have to repeat my order four times and forget stuff). I swear my sandwich got to me in ten minutes. No apparently delivery fee - how do they do this? And the delivery guy was adorable.

Quick, quick, quick! Sandwiches at this JJ take only a couple of minutes even at the busiest times. The gang behind the counter always have a smile and are ready to rock your sandwich right up! The sandwiches are just like JJ's anywhere else - fresh ingredients on fresh bread. Way better than the Subway across the street. I really like that they have the low calorie Lemonade in the soda fountain! The only negative thing about this JJ's is that there aren't nearly enough seats in the place for the lunch rush. And there's no parking, but if you're taking it to go, that's not really a problem because the service is so very fast that you can jump in and jump out before they have a chance to write your ticket!

Don't waste your money, if you have time to wait for the slow (and sometimes creepy) service at subway across the street..the sandwich is way better. A chain is a chain..but my first try with jimmy johns left me completely unimpressed

You know what it is. You know what you want. The bread is so good. That's why you come here. You know what to expect. I'm glad it's near where I live.

This is an excellent and well run JJs, but i think Leah is right - never would have guessed this was a Jefferson address, since it is on Lake St. Sandwiches are always as expected: speedy. One time they were low on tuna and it was going to be about 4 minutes for them to whip up a new batch, which was no big deal to me, but they gave me comp chips anyways. Mmmm, complementary crunchiness.. The place is really clean and the staff are friendly.

Jimmy John's is a Jimmy John's is a Jimmy John's. This is your typical location with the red and black interior. I've had mixed experiences here. Sometimes, I get my sandwich quickly and made correctly. Other times, I've dealt with attitude from employees and once had my sandwich remade three times because she put meat on it once and then seconds later used a different bread than requested. I didn't realize it was too hard to make a #13 with whole wheat bread. Overall, it's a decent, clean location with loud music blasting sometimes like today.

I love me some Jimmy John's. I went to this location the day that JJ's had $1 subs. They were able to move the line quickly. I don't usually review chains like this, but the staff was so efficient that I wanted to complement them. Compared to the other big sub chains, JJ's meat seems much fresher and not processed. They tout how quick they are in commercials. A great place for lunch in a pinch.

The boys that work there serve up my number 10 on French with a quickness and a smile. That's all I require from a JJ's.

Isn't this JJ technically on Lake Street? Anyways, great sandwiches, nice service, very fast. :)

What are all the rave reviews about? Jimmy John's sucks. Turkey sub doesn't come with cheese even though other sandwiches that cost the same and have identical ingredients (except for the meat) does come with cheese. Did I say meat? Where? I felt like I was eating a bread sandwich, and I don't even like a lot of meat on my sandwiches. And their bread. It's Wonder bread made into a sub. The place sucks. I won't be going back again.

Need to update their menu to say "avocado spread thinly on meat product" - had no idea it would be a spread - not to sound petty but not worth the extra $1.20; didn't realize it was even on the sandwich until i called the store #0744 to ask for a refund for the avocado - one employee asked if i saw a green spread on the turkey, did see a tiny bit - he then said thank you and hung up.
