Yeaaaah...I ordered a veggie sandwich to go, and came home to find barely any guacamole spread on it. I've never had such a stingy sandwich at a Jimmy John's before - can't tell if the person who made was just too sloppy or, as is typical of any Chicago place, decided a woman of colour wasn't worth it. Or, who knows - both, because this is Chicago, which can't make a decent sandwich and would like this to turn into another white suburb, like the ones Rahm came from.

Was just there on Saturday and quite disappointed with the sandwich. If you like paying $7 for loads of lettuce with not much else, then this is the place for you!

First time to JJ. Fast but when I got home the hot peppers that I paid $.50 extra for we're not there. Not sure if I'll return

"We don't serve hot peppers here" Well then. Close up shop until you find some or fix your sign. Grumpus here does not like ordering that which is advertised (and at a ridiculous additional cost) only to be told "nuh uh". P.S. There are 5 gigantic jars of hot peppers on the shelf. I know it's part of the decor, but how about you break glass in case of emergency and make it happen? Oh, review. Not just complaint board. Right. Forgot about that. Uhh...they made the sandwich fast? I freaked? Ironic wall signage made me cackle with amusement and delight? Whatever.

I had lunch here for the first time the other day, and I have no complaints about the experience: the employees were friendly, my sandwich came out quickly, it tasted good, the tables were clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. This isn't a place to write home about, but it's perfectly fine for a quick sandwich.

I've always liked the food (a staple in college), but whereas I used to order the #5, due to issues with my intestines and such, I have to be very careful with what I order now. I went in and ordered a #13 unwich, minus the cheese, mayo (both of which I cannot eat), and tomato (which I just don't like). After I placed my order, the cashier commented "That's no fun." Gee dude. Sorry MY order for MY food isn't fun for YOU. Hell, it's not much fun for me either, but it's all I can eat at your shop thanks to my health problems and your fatty foods. The food was decent this trip, but as I'd only ever give them 4 stars, they lose 2 of them thanks to the comment. I mean really? Do you really need to comment on what I order? That's one way to make sure I never come back. Even if I could eat whatever I wanted there, don't comment on it. I tend to avoid places like this that comment on my food selections or make faces at me when I order. It's really unnecessary and rude. I will always be polite to you when you comment, but I guarantee I'll be wishing I had the balls to tell you to: "Take your comment and shove it up your arse."

Jimmy John's has got to be one of the fastest sandwich makers in the history of sandwich making. My brother took me for the first time back in the mid-90's down at U of I. It was a bit cheaper back then, but still tasted good. My favorite: Tuna. Also, I hear they deliver even if you just order ONE sandwich! How cool is that? Can't wait to try it.

I order from this JJ's at least once a week. My order is always perfect and fresh! The delivery is always super quick and the delivery people are always friendly.

I love jimmy john's. I love jimmy johns when I ask for hot peppers on my sandwich and actually get them. Not once have I had them when I asked for them at this location.

One-star for speedy delivery - 10 minutes. $7.50 + tip for a sandwich with one slice of turkey and the usual lettuce and tomato. As T. J. Jagodowski said in one of the Sonic commercials, "Uhh, it's called a rip-off".

Easy mayo, please, EASY MAYO. This place just doesn't understand what that means and I try and stress it more and more every time I come in. They love their mayo here, and I just don't. However, Jimmy John's is freaky fast, and that's great because I don't have a lot of time for lunch. The sandwiches tast fresh and I like both the ham and cheese, and the turkey and bacon sandwiches. I would hope for 2 things...pickles that go on the sandwiches and wheat bread in sub form, not loaf. If these 2 things happened, I would be oh so happy and Jimmy John's wouldn't be holding themselves back from having an even greater quick sandwich restaurant.

I love this JJ's location! Great sandwiches, always super fast, and the staff are always friendly here. Will keep coming as long as they keep feeding me sandwiches. :)

Super fast delivery....not really!!! This is the 2nd time it's happened that the order took close to 45 mins to be delivered, & during non rush hour! Will not go back

I love Jimmy Johns! I used to eat it almost everyday, my gut and bank account were definitely reflecting that. I've been to probably 40 different stores or more. I went to this location at 8:30pm, and was surprised that the bread was still actually fresh(ish). Usually by this time, they're sneaking in day old bread for sandwiches at other JJ's. The service was also great! I appreciated the kindness. My companion and I were in a goofy mood and they enjoyed our attitudes which made it fun! The only thing that knocks this review down is the price! I know that JJ's are franchised out and the owners set their own prices. They are a bit high here. I've had delivery come from this location and they charge $2 for a can of pop. A 24pk of pop can be purchased for $6. That means they are potentially making $42 off a case of pop. That blows my mind a little. Love the cookies though, and am totally willing to pay $2!

I'm never ordering from here again. I ordered a tuna sandwich that arrived with no tuna. When I called the restaurant they said they'd send out another one, and it never arrived. When I called back and asked to talk to the manager there was no apology and he acted as if I was inconveniencing him. Thanks Joseph Shivah, I will never order from your restaurant again.

The sandwiches are good and they make 'em quickly, but the music in the store is just way too LOUD. This location is right around the corner from my office, but I go much less often than I would otherwise because it's just so incredibly unpleasant to eat there. I've contacted JJ's management a couple of times, but my comments have never been acknowledged. This "ambiance" is evidently part of their corporate identity, as it's the same situation at all of the JJ stores that I have visited. I am not the only one commenting on this issue, and I think JJ's management should listen up. They are losing business because of the noise.

The last time I went there it was SUPER fast but it was not exactly right..... I ordered the Italian Night Club without the oil and got it with the oil (and so much the outside of the bread was SHINY). Ick.

This Jimmy John's isn't bad like a couple others I've posted about. Used to work at JJ's in college so I know what to look for as far as do's and dont's in the shop. Got a delivery from this location a year ago and was steamed but this was a good experience this time around and very friendly on the phone. Might have to try it again! Viva la JJ!

Tasty and efficiently served sub sandwiches. The best thing about their sammies are the bread and the cheese. If I could ask them what kind of cheese they use, I would. Maybe I will someday. My personal faves are the italian and the vegetarian.

Once they forgot the tuna in my tuna sandwich. Enough said. For lunch, this is probably the LAST place I would want to order from but when you are outnumbered, you're left with no choice. Overpriced and not enough substance. They are fast though.
