The staff in the restaurant is VERY unfriendly. Other than that the food is always good. And theres so many delivery cyclist no wonder you guys are freaky fast.

This was my first time going to a Jimmy John's, and I was pretty disappointed in the result, possibly because I didn't realize that Jimmy John's doesn't toast your sandwich. So it was a cold sandwich, with a few relatively thick slices of turkey and some lettuce and sprouts. Not particularly pleasant.

Yes, a chain review. Deal with it. I have loved these sandwiches for years, but this location NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT. In a long list of clown shows, here is the latest offense: -We order a turkey and cheese sandwich. -Hour later they deliver a ham & cheese. -We call, and they say they're now on the way with the correct order. -Hour later, no sandwiches. We call, and they didn't even know we were waiting for our food...?... Ok, now on the way again. -Another hour later they deliver a rock hard turkey tom, no cheese, and say we're on a list for a free sandwich next time. -The following weekend there's no record of our free sandwich, but we order one anyway- starvation makes you stupid. -The delivery hipster must have wanted a $2 tip on a $4 order, because he walks away from our door screaming F- us, and for us to go F ourselves in various ways. Can someone competent please get this business in working order. It's ri-g@d-d@mn-diculous.

We placed an order for 8 sandwiches, only 7 arrived. When I called in to tell them my sandwich wasn't there, I was switched through 3 different people on the phone until the man who I spoke to told me... "We're busy, We have LOTS of orders to take care of, We will get to your order when we can." When will I get my sandwich? "When we get to it." But the way he said it, was so vicious, I almost cried. We had already waited over an hour for the sandwiches. And they messed up half of the order that did arrive. My sandwich came 1 hour later (that's 2 hours now and they're located maybe 2-3 blocks away) and it was frozen and watery. And it tasted funny. I will never eat Jimmy Johns again.

Love this place! They are quick, friendly, and have always gotten my order right! The manager even gave me a free sample today. OMG, the bread...

I love Jimmy John's but this place is not great. During the school year it can be over-run with high school kids from Lincoln Park HS (ugh). As others have mentioned, the music is often too loud. My biggest problem though, and this is something I found out last time I visited, is that THERE IS NO PUBLIC BATHROOM. What? I find that strange in an establishment clearly invites sitting down to eat since it has tables and chairs. If you're going to eat a sandwich you should be allowed to at least wash your hands before doing so. They need to either add a bathroom or take out the tables and chairs and make it clear that it's carry-out only.

I love Jimmy John's and eat there a lot, but this is the worst location that I've eaten at. If you visit in person, the music is always up so loud they can't hear you order. If you call for delivery, you have to repeat every last bit of your order several times because they can't hear you - probably because of the loud music and/or their crappy phone. Then, they screw up the order (and I'm sorry, but meat on bread is not rocket science). Their bread here also sucks - at other JJ locations it is always soft and chewy and delicious. 98% of the time I order from this location the bread is hard and stiff.

slow, confused & unfriendly staff. for exactly a mile away it's always at least 45 minute wait for delivery (if you're lucky).

I've been using this Jimmy Johns for a couple years now for delivery. My last few times have just been horrible. I order a large iced tea, I get a can of iced tea but am charged for a large iced tea. Same thing happens 2 more times. It is my own fault, I didn't call. I hate putting up a stink over $.50. This last time, I ordered my standard turkey sandwich, no sprouts, no mayo. Not an hour later, I am in the bathroom getting violently ill. I couldn't leave the bathroom for 2 hours. These are just some examples of how terrible this place can be. I think if I want to satisfy my Jimmy Johns' cravings, I'll stick to the one in the Loop.

I like this location best because of all the times I've been, I've NEVER waited in line, and there's usually some rad bikes hanging out by the doorway. Also, its super close to Oz Park, so get your sandwich, then go to the White Hen on the corner and get a giant fountain drink, and then head on over to the well-manicured flower section in the Park and have yourself a picnic among sunbathing girls in bikinis. I probably shouldn't have said that because now that park will be overrun with weirdos.

This place is great! They make delicious, simple sandwichs that are consistent between locations and visits. They have really quick delivery too. My favorite is the beach club...highly recommended!

I called and explained to the manager that I worked for a non-profit and needed to feed 200 people for an event we were having. He curtly told me that, due to company policy, he couldn't give away food and then hung up on me. Here's the problem: I wasn't begging for free food like he thought. I wanted to place an order and pay for the sandwiches with our hard-earned money. Doesn't that seem rather rude to you?

Average delivery time from this location the past 4 times i have ordered = 7 minutes. That is all.

I have typically ordered from this Jimmy Johns frequently over the past year because it is so close to my work and is quick and easy! Unfortunately, I will not be any more. The past THREE times I ordered from here for delivery they did my order incorrectly. THREE times in a row. You would think with all the restaurants in the area they would be sure to get orders correctly and not loose anyone to the competitors around them. I will not be ordering from here again.

Holy cow I was eating my sandwich less than 10 minutes after ordering, and it's exactly how I ordered it. Tasted as good as always.

Wow, I don't think Jimmy would be very happy with this John's. What's one of the best things about JJ's? Aside from being freaky fast, the bread rocks! So imagine my dissapointment when not once, but on two separate occasions, this location has given us day - old bread. I could have chipped a tooth it was so hard! Even worse, they missed JJ's charm school portion of training. The employees really don't want to be there and you can tell by the way the take your order, the lack of care put into making your sandwich, and additude they give at the register. There are so many better food options on this stretch of Lincoln, don't set yourself up for disappointment at Jimmy John's.

Best Jimmy John's experience ever. Perfect ratios, fastest delivery, and the guy even came to my 2nd floor door because, after an 18 hour day, I was too lazy to go downstairs. Thank you, these guys deserve great tips!!

This Jimmy Johns rocks. I have ordered delivery and always received my food fast. They play music LOUD in there so don't bring the kids. They always make my sandwhiches for my wife and I perfect every time. They are consistent. The delivery guys work on tips, so tip well, especially if it's 100 degrees outside. or if its cold, or rainy etc. For what it is, they do a great job. The kids are always friendly, and high spirited. I go there at least once a week, more so for my wife as I love the mexican place next door (Allende) and they always do it right!!

Their employees behave like animals in our neighborhood. One delivery guy stole a smartphone from our office while he was delivering. You call management to discuss the problem and they do nothing at all. That thief probably won employee of the month at Jimmy Johns. BEWARE!

Back home there is this place called Publix. Yes its a grocery store that makes the best sandwiches. I haven't found something comparable until today. I have been craving a Publix sub, when I was running errands and saw someone eating a Jimmy John's sandwich. I immediately asked where one was and went straight over. It was heaven. The music in the store was not loud. The place was clean. And it was seriously staffed. The delivery guys were going in and out. The bread was fresh and delicious. I could not complain about my sandwich. My tiny humans ate a sandwich, and while one refused ham, she did eat her grandmother's tuna! I would recommend this place. And they are open till 10:05 pm!!

I went, I didn't freak. When the whole business model revolves around speed, you better be fast. I remember the Jimmy Johns at UIUC where I would walk in with exact change (because I'm awesome like that) while simultaneously saying my order. I would put the money on the register and start walking out when the guy would throw me the completed sub. All. Without. Stopping. Now that place deserves 5 stars. Also, if you got this far through my review, I don't like cold subs half the year. They need some innovation!

Jimmy John's is always great. The problem usually lies in the delivery part of the deal when it takes 3-4 x's longer than quoted, and then part of the order is missing. Not fun at hungry lunch times.

Jimmy John's is pretty much as advertised - it's about the fastest sandwich you can get. That said, I'd take a Potbelly's or Quizno's sandwich over theirs given the choice. If you just need something fast for lunch and actually want to enjoy it, I'd recommend Jimmy John's.

Go to the one on N Clybourn, its way better and the service is better. The one on N Lincoln apparently their sandwhich makers don't understand the meaning of "I want extra of something." I asked for extra lettuce and onions, and still got the standard amount. And even looked at me weird for asking such a thing. Other night got the Vito and the sandwhich was very very salty from the vinegrette they used. I think whoever made it messed up bigtime because it made the sandwhich so salty I couldn't even eat it.

I eat Jimmy John's all the time and I never get sick of it. I also dont' feel guilty eating it all the time because it's affordable and it's a sandwich so how bad could it be for you? My favorite is the beach club, which seems to be popular among other Yelpers as well.

good sandwiches and cheap! If you've gotten sick of pottbelly's (which I sorta have because I ate it way too much), try this place. The sandwiches are big and good. I particularly love the beach club. They also deliver and are usually pretty fast.
