Who ARE these people giving Jimmy John's anything less than 5 stars?! I was shocked to see these poor reviews...and people complaining about the price? Come on! The sandwiches are HUGE, and they don't skimp on ANYTHING. That's the price you pay for an awesome sandwich. I always order online, and my order is always delivered freaky fast. I couldn't be happier with my local Jimmy John's. I normally go between the Big John and the Beach Club depending on my mood. I love the Jalapeño Jimmy Chips and the pickles. I have to admit...I developed my Jimmy John's habit in college, so I've been a fan for over 10 years. To date....this is the only meal that truly helps me recover from hangovers. Highly recommended!

Ripoff Alert! Don't get it delivered! We have been ordering from this JJ for several years. Tonight we ordered 5 Giant Club Sandwiches and 4 bags of chips. The total was over $50! When we inquired, they said a $1.50 DELIVERY CHARGE IS ADDED TO EACH SANDWICH! In addition, they charge another $.05 DELIVERY CHARGE PER BAG OF CHIPS! Looking at the receipt now. Subtotal: $42.11 Delivery Charge: $5.89 THAT'S A 14% DELIVERY CHARGE! That's over $10 each person to eat. Sorry Jimmy Johns in Andersonville, there are way too many better delivery restaurants. And it's not like I am not going to tip the delivery person, I am sure they don't get the extra $$. Given the delivery radius of this store, that is highway robbery! (BTW - with all of that said, it was actually freaky fast) PROs: + It's Jimmy Johns, it is what it is Cons: - Outrageous delivery fee

I like Jimmy Johns better than Subway. Fresh and fast subs. Healthy options and alternatives. The bread is better than other sandwich joints. Love the turkey and bacon.

Their delivery sucks ....they are not freaky fast.... They get an attitude on the phone when you call to inquire why your freaky fast sub is an hour late!! Go to the Wilson jj.......supernice!

Typical Jimmy John's. There is an annoying obviously gay young guy that works here that is a little over the top. He has hit on me and my partner both separately and it isn't really called for in a place your trying to grab a sandwich - come on! Fire that fool and we may come again.

Probably my least favorite review to write to date. I am a huge Jimmy John's fan and have been a loyal customer for years. I am only writing the review and giving 2 stars to THIS Jimmy John's establishment due solely on the fact that; This is the SECOND time that it's taken them over and hour to deliver me my food. Each time I have had to call and ask where my food was. This last excuse was; "Sorry, we got a little busy." Great that you guys have tons of business but sorry you lost mine. All in all, food was great, the delivery guy was very apologetic (both times) I still tipped but can't understand their slogan. You are in fact, NOT, freaky fast...so cut the crap. Maybe when I am standing there waiting for my sub but i guess you could careless about the people outside the shop ordering. At least when I am in Roger's Park and it's lunchtime at work, I know I'll receive my sandwich in plenty of time; not so I have to choke it down like I have a minute to eat. Good food, Freakishly FALSE pace.

This is probably going to be the most ridiculous review I have written. Why? Well first of all its because its a Jimmy John's review and secondly, I really shouldn't care that much. But, alas, I do and I am livid with this establishment. This review definitely deserves a preface. So here are essential facts to consider: 1. I am slightly obsessed with Jimmy Johns. I eat Jimmy Johns at least once a week. Go ahead. Judge me, call me a fatty. Its cool. 2. This location is approximately five blocks from my house. I could literally walk there with a broken leg and make it in less than 10 minutes. But let's leave my laziness out of this. 3. Im on a first name basis with the two delivery drivers. So whats my problem? I have been ordering from this Jimmy Johns on an almost weekly basis and they deliver my food quickly and I tip well and everyone is happy. So I decide to order last night because I was exhausted and hungry. They tell me theyre not supposed to deliver to me because the Lawrence store is my store. I was surprised by that because that store is seriously, super close to me. Plus the Lawrence store had told me in the past that they do NOT deliver to me. Anyway, the guy agrees to deliver it to me. Fast forward an hour later....HEY! WHERE THE F is my food?! Its usually there within 15 minutes. I call the store back. Dallas- "Hey are you guys going to deliver my sandwich?" JJ Guy- "Yes, its on the way". Hmm even more time elapses. Dallas-" Seriously Jimmy Johns, are you gonna deliver my food?!" JJ Guy- "No." Dallas-"What do you mean no, you said it was on the way." JJ Guy- "We transferred it to the other store." (PLUS-he had serious attitude) I call the other store. They had not in fact transferred it to the other store. Yet they lied to me and told me they did and basically left me to starve.

Their food is good, but the wait is unbearable. The last time I ordered from here it took them 45 mins to get me my food, and now here I sit again, 20 mins after ordering and there is not sandwich here. Freaky fast? I think not.

Most people are very specific about whether they like Jimmy John's, Potbelly's or Subway Sandwich Shop. I of course like all three, the sandwich-monger that I am. This Jimmy John's knows me pretty well by now because I'm the one that orders a sandwich the way most people order their Starbucks. Number 9, French, no cheese, no salami, no onions, extra lettuce, sliced, combo, to go. It's me and a capicola sandwich in a little bubble of happiness walking briskly back home before I freeze to death.

I don't get delivery from here which seems to be the hot topic here. The staff is always nice, and they make a good sammich.

It's really clean, I suppose because it is so new. BLT is my fav. I asked for cucumbers to be added and they forgot them, no biggie. Otherwise, everything tasted great. His Beach Club was delicious. I would go back to this location.

Yeah, I feel a little goony reviewing Jimmy John's. I know people like Potbelly better, and the cutesy marketing of the chain is enough to kill. But I've picked up a few sammiches from this place, and I love 'em. This is a new location, which may account for part of my satisfaction. The store is still clean and in good condition, and the staff don't hate their jobs yet. They're always very friendly to me, and do their work quickly and efficiently. I like the 7 grain bread they use for their club sandwiches. I like the size of the sandwiches. I like the fact that they're always cutting fresh meat and cheese when I go in. There's a Subway down the street -- at Clark and Montrose -- and I'm sick of their pre-portioned meat and cheese packs. At Jimmy John's, I feel like I'm getting the same quality meat I would get at a grocery store. Maybe not deli quality, but good. Basically, these are the sandwiches you would make if you would get off your lazy butt and make them.

The food is fine. Just like any other Jimmy John's. It is the wait that made me give them only 1 star. I work literally 1 block from this location. I'm not able to leave the building during business hours. So, if I order food quite often. The past 2 times I've ordered from here it has taken over an hour to get my sandwich. Yes, just one sandwich. One block away. Ridiculous!

I recently places a order online at 10:30 a.m. then brushed my teeth, and took out the garbage. When I walked back into my house in those few minutes it took to do those things the doorbell rang and bam Jimmy Johns...it really was freakishly fast! The food as expected was great as well.

I LOVE sandwich places and I usually love Jimmy Johns. Unless you like your roast beef dripping blood and soaking the bun I would choose something else. Prices are pretty good though. I would love to have more than 2 pieces of cold bacon on my sandwiches every time I go here.

My review is specifically for this Jimmy John's. My 6 y.o. son LOVES Jimmy John's. I buy it weekly. I usually order delivery from the Lawrence store bc for some odd reason, while the Clark location is closer to my home, I'm not in their delivery area. The Lawrence store has been great. Regardless, we were running errands this evening so I went to this Jimmy John's. I ordered a #11 and asked them to only put mayo and lettuce on half the sandwich since we were going to split the sandwich and anyone who has eaten JJ knows they are awful the next day so I certainly wasn't going to order 2 and have a full sandwich left over. The gentleman behind the register said no problem, the "manager" rudely replied "I'm not trained to do that." I wasn't really clear what that meant. He runs the store and is uncertain how to put 2 ingredients on only half a sandwich? I replied I was confident he could figure it out, even with this lack of training. He then told me he was just going to give me mayo packets as he was only trained to spread mayo on a whole sandwich. Fine, I replied, could he perhaps sprinkle lettuce on only half the sandwich? After several eye rolls, and a reminder that he went to training for 3 weeks and isn't trained to do that he amazingly figured it out. He then tossed my sandwich down to the end of the counter despite the fact that I was getting it to go and standing in the front of the store. Maybe I've been spoiled at other JJ's but they never seem to have a problem handing me the sandwich. Perhaps this manager wasn't trained on how to do that. It was only when I asked for a manager that I was informed this ridiculous gentleman was the manager and he informed me I could take a franchise post-card by the door on the way out to contact corporate. No wonder the place was empty at 5pm on a Saturday. The customer service is awful.

Im a pretty big Jimmy Johns fan. Love the tuna sandwich, whatever they are calling it these days. Well, my last 5-6 visits to this location, Im finding there's a LOT more lettuce in my sandwich and very little tuna. And whatever tuna is in the sandwich tastes like a salt lick. They also used to put cucumbers and alfalfa sprouts on their sandwiches, no more. These sandwiches arent really cheap to begin with but I'm no longer going to pay $5 for a sandwich full of lettuce. Sorry Charlie, errr Jimmy! TRY ANOTHER JIMMY JOHNS LOCATION!!
