I'm not going to lie, I actually prefer JJ's to PB's. I support the double digit sandwiches across the board, on all issues the 7-grain bread is quite filling, making for a delightful one-course meal. I like the use of alfalfa sprouts and avocado spread, very neocentric. A bit pricey but in the middle of the afternoon you won't have to be reaching for that 3:30pm snickers or stealing various candies off your co-workers desk when they go to the bathroom, but if you still want to... go for it tiger. Lines get long so get there early because each sandwich is spread with care before it is wrapped in white paper and sent to a better home. Seating is scarce, so I suggest you sit on the floor.

Good food - can't complain there, but if you're going to make it in the Chicago lunch rush, you have to be able to handle a crowd better than this location. Potbelly's could move through 3 times the customers they had in the time I waited in line. But yeah, I'll be back because it's Jimmy John's and it's close to work. Just might want to bring a snack for the line.

HOLY CRAP! This place did a 180 and is absolutely amazing now! I had the worst JJ experience here a couple years ago and swore I'd never go back but it was raining out and I had a meeting upstairs from this location so I went back and really glad I did! Service, product and cleanliness at 5 stars and they're faster than I've ever seen! Absolutely Amazing!

Jimmy John's is Freaky Fast, and this one is no exception. Food: Standard Jimmy John's - nothing stellar but fantastic if you want something tasty and fast. Service: Because this one is hidden behind a corner, it is usually empty and even faster than other Jimmy's. Service is friendly and quick. Environment: Lots of tables and chairs - more than I've ever seen needed. Definitely a place where you can get food fast and not fight for a seat.

This is your typical Jimmy Johns. Nothing special except the fact that this location is plagued by terrible employees and customer service. Today marks the third time I have been disappointed by this place - my sandwich was made with dry, disgusting bread. Obviously stale from the previous day. How is this even acceptable of a $9.00 sandwich. I would go back and complain, but the last time I tried to do that regarding not getting hot peppers on my sandwich when I ordered them I got lambasted by the manager. This place is an exceptionally shitty location of this mediocre chain. No wonder every time I go they seem to have an entirely new staff. Here's to shitty expensive lunch sandwiches and even shittier customer service. Two Stars.

Order for lunch delivery all the time...they have yet to get an order 100% correct. They either mess up a sandwich or forget items and have to make multiple trips. Kinda frustrating....freaky fast sure but maybe we slow it down just a tad and double check things just once. Not gonna stop ordering, will probably just order for pick up or something

I used to eat here all the time when I worked @ Careerbuilder.com and it was in the same building. Nice peeps always work here! The line usually warps around @ noon so its best to get there @ 11:30-45. I love the #9 (Italian Nite Club)

This JJ is hit or miss. I cant tell you how many times I get just the simple Turkey Tom no sprouts and I get back to the office with sprouts on the sandwich. What a buzz kill! Otherwise, the subs and that bread are so good. Despite the careless sandwhich makers, sometimes you have to go here just to get that fix.

First and foremost, this location has fantsatic service. On the food-front, any Jimmy Johns that executes the sandwiches properly is going to have a decent product, so they get a 5/5 for being par for the course on Jimmy Johns sandwich creation. The service on the otherhand, is absollutely exceptional. As an ex-restaurateur, I'd qualify myself as an informed individual when it comes to quality in food service and they definitely have it. They remember my name, remember what I've ordered in the past (Which I don't go very often, adding to their outstanding customer service), all of the telltale signs of a group of employees who actually care. Speaking from personal experience, it is very hard to do this in a quick-service restaurant. The interactions are typically under 3 minutes front to back and they handle (depending on location) and a minimum of triple the average covers that a sitdown restaurant would do. To remember individual orders and names in an environment like that is commendable. Jimmy Johns Corporate, if you need poster-children for your customer service model, they're right under your nose at 180 N LaSalle. See you tomorrow.

This was the sadest sandwich I've ever had! I've order from other Jimmy Johns and it was good...as far as fast food goes but at this store I have to say " where's the meat"? I can't believe that they can serve a "sandwich" with 3 pieces of thinly sliced meat and 2 pieces of cheese!!! I've also had the tuna and all it was, was a lettuce sandwich.

I went to lunch for some Jimmy John's and saw a ton of people sitting outside in the patio. There were also a ton of people sitting inside eating their lunch. There I was in the middle of lunch hour wondering how bad it would be. Much to my surprise, there was no line! I quickly made an order on the fly and waited for my food. I waited all of five seconds because while I ordered they were making my sandwich and handed it off to me right when my card was approved. If you like sandwiches made with breakneck speeds and every minute of your lunch counts, get on over to Jimmy John's!

I hated JJ's until I decided to give this location a try on one frigid afternoon. I ordered the veggie on wheat, sans mayo and cheese. Immediately, the sandwich maker inquired if I was vegan, as the bread contains some animal product. I'm not vegan so it didn't matter; but the fact he asked was impressive to me. Additionally, the veggies and bread were fresh and tasty. I am a fan!

JJ had me at first bite, when they opened up shop at the UIllinois campus in Champaign. They handed out free sandwiches for a week and I was addicted. I prefer it to Subway and Potbelly's, even though I think Subway is a better deal. I always get the Beach Club on wheat and I'm never disappointed. Their wheat bread is super soft and filling. Avocado + Sprouts = Crazy Delicious. Always goes great with the Jalapeno chips, too. Line seems long, but moves quickly. Nice staff, but make sure you know what you want/don't want on your sandwich before it's made in a flash. Or you'll get some nasty looks. =) Good luck finding a place to sit. I always get my sandwich to go.
