I was in Chicago for a football tournament recently and we decided to go to Jimmy John's for a quick lunch. I am from California so I was not familiar with Jimmy John's so I just went with the classic turkey sandwich. I don't know if it was because I was so hungry, but this was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was extremely fresh and flavorful and was a perfect size to satisfy that lunch craving. I have eaten sandwiches from many different shops but this one just did it for me. Wish they had some of these out in California!

In and out in under a minute. Pretty solid sandwiches and they are happy to make alterations to the standards on the menu. Service has always been great (I've only been at random times). I eat here about once a week and it always meets my expectations.

Bread was fresh and food was up to Jimmy Johns normal quality. I will mention 2 negatives in my mind. First the music is so loud that you can't hold a conversation without basically yelling. Next they have unsweetened tea in the soda machine but they don't have any sugar or sweeteners of any kind.

This location mind blows me every time. I order from them often & everytime my sandwich arrives within 4-6 minutes that I placed the call. I mean I know their slogan is "freaky fast" but this seems almost impossible as I'm at least 5 blocks away! Well I'm not complaining. Service on the phone is great & delivery guy is always so nice & of course the sandwich is delicious. I live next to a Subway but it would take me longer to go next door then order here. I'm impressed.

I love Jimmy John's sandwiches, but volume of music in here is obscene, ruined our lunch. Saw other people go to sit down, then head for the door when they realized how loud it is. I realize they are creating an atmosphere, but they are a lunch place, not a nightclub. We pointed this out to person at counter, she said nothing could be done, management told them it has to be that loud. Avoid this place and hit another Jimmy John's with a more eating conducive atmosphere.

This is for service alone since jimmy johns is a chain. The service at this location is GREAT. The sandwich maker asked me what I wanted and I told him (my usual...the bootlegger). I went to pay and literally, by the time I took out my debit card and put it back into my wallet, my sandwich was handed to me. They really are FREAKY FAST

I'm not sure why JJ's have decent sandwiches but charge so much! They are quite expensive, honestly. And I find the size of the sandwich odd because one sandwich is more than one can eat for lunch but if I split half with a colleague, we're both still left a little hungry. The staff at this particular JJ's is pretty friendly at least. Oh, in case you're lost in the maze called Illinois Center, this is on the street level on the South Water side.

I like this place. It is a good quick place to get a bite where everyone on the staff has been very friendly. I walk in every other day and ask them what I want. They always deliver. Do quizzical looks and no looks that id me as the jackass that I know I am. They all chip in and suggest something new each day. Haven't had the same sandwich twice. Quite fun.

i love jimmy john's. somehow it never gets old to me. you know what you're gonna get, and in particular, i love the #6 vegetarian sandwich. this jimmy john's holds a special place in my heart because they're super fast and consistent and when i only have 10 mins to grab lunch during the middle of the day, it's perfect.

The line looks long but they move super-fast. In fact, there could be 5 people in front of me at Cosi or Potbelly and 20 in front of me at this Jimmy John's and I'd still be eating my #9 Italian Night Club with peppers before sitting down at Cosi or Potbelly! Still love Potbelly but I'm usually in a hurry so it's JJ for lunch from now on.

It's no secret that I love Jimmy John's. But this location? Hands down the best. The bread is better than many of the other locations I've eaten at. It's just.... fresher. Chewier. More delicious. I'm wondering what their secret is. The staff is wonderful here and they always provide excellent service. They are one of the few locations that has a rewards card, so you can get free subs after you fill a card up. Actually, this is the ONLY location I've seen this at. And when I've called to place a catering order for work, the manager is super easy to work with and fun to talk to. When they deliver catering orders, they take the time to actually set it up for us instead of dropping it off and leaving. They're the only place that does that. Sadly my office is moving deeper into the Loop this weekend, so I won't be a regular here anymore. Though the manager has assured me I can still call him instead of another location for my catering needs, it's a bit far to trek for lunch for myself. I will miss the smiling faces and excellent service here.

What else can I say? I love Jimmy Johns! I eat here every chance I get! This one is hidden just off the street, so a little hard to find. But Oh so worth it!!

Needed quick bite before a show. Place was completely empty on a nice Saturday night which was the first clue to avoid this place. Ordered the Big John which was 2 small slices of roost beef, a little veggies, and a lot of mayo. Should have gone to Subway.

It's been about 5 years since I've had a sub from Jimmy John's and its good to know they haven't changed a bit. The bread is still great for a fast food joint as is the quality of the meat. On top of that they are incredibly fast which is nice during the lunch rush. Sorry Subway, but it's gonna be hard going back...

This location is the worst to order from. I've ordered from here about 10 times and each time I either got the wrong sandwich, wrong ingredients or my order got cancelled without me knowing. Every time! For what they claim to be and how fast they deliver I wouldn't order from this location. They cannot uphold what they advertise. On top of it every time they make a mistake the manager does absolutely nothing about it.

This location just opened last week and so far everytime I walk by it's been pretty packed. I couldn't decide where I wanted to go for lunch, I knew I wanted a sandwich but my favorite sandwich places were all outside and it was just too cold for me to venture outside. Anyways, the line wasn't too bad when I got inside and it went fairly quickly. I ordered my sandwich and it was ready in less than a minute. The sandwich itself was very good. My only problem was that it cost me $6.71! And I only got the sandwich, no chips, no drink. As much as I enjoy their sandwiches I can take my $6.71 down to Brian's or the Deli across the street and get a huge sandwich, bag of chips and a drink! But when it's snowing or too cold outside I guarantee I will be back at Jimmy John's.
