I got here at 11 o'clock last night after having a super stressful day at work. The lady at the counter was super friendly. This is a Spanish speaking joint, and they appreciate if you at least attempt to speak a little Spanish. You don't have to, but still. I've never been a huge fan of Mexican food, but I live right by here, and thought why not try it. I had a Gordita and a steak taco. 5 bucks. It was a ton of food too and tasted delicious. Steak right off the grill. Ok here's where they get 5 stars. I had to step out to take a phone call. When I came back the food was cold. And instead of serving me cold food. They REMADE ALL THE FOOD! Wow. Felt like family was in the kitchen.

What happen to this place? I've been driving by this place at night and they haven't been open for business. It's been about 3 weeks or more since I had a taste for tacos and the rice water after work. Drove by several times after work and they are still closed, no signs indicating (vacation or something else).

The inos special burrito is like 3 meals at least! As big as your head! My parents always ordered out from here when I was a kid and I've never been disappointed as an adult.Even when I moved out of state 12 hours away, I would come to Ino's to get a super burrito whenever I came back to visit. Now I'm lucky to go every now and then when I am in the city. They're open late 3 am on weekends and 1 am on weekdays so they're good for those tacos you're craving after a night of drinking (if you're brave enough to come out to this part of town at night, though it seems to be a bot better than a decade ago). You can order ahead for pickup, but they are pretty damn fast even if you don't. I usually get a container of the carrots and peppers...it just ain't the same without it and I like to eat them wig other foods too (next morning omelettes?) And the horchata is pretty yummy too.

My first time here and I ordered a Steak Burrito. Not the best but was ok. The tortillas was shitty and oily. I'm sticking to Los Comales. My brother ordered a Supreme Nacho and they didn't give him a lot like last time he ordered. We will not go back.

First off i am a vegetarian so i get there veggie burrito. Honestly the best veggie burrito ever and its huge! I have tried many veggie burritos from other places and they are crap some are the size of tacos and others are just stuffed with alvacado which is just nasty. My Gf also loves this place shes in love with there chicken torta and wants one like everyday. There agua de horchata are tasty too.The prices are crazy cheap too for such a amount of food.

I've been wanting to try this place out. Finally went here yesterday. They give you chips and pico de gallo. I originally thought it looked dry, but it was tasty. I actually liked the chips. I ended up getting the bear burrito. Steak, lettuce, tomato, avocado and sour cream. I don't like cheese and beans. This thing was massive. For about $6.00, it's a deal! Well, I loved that the tortilla had this light crispiness to it. The steak however didn't have much flavor. I tried the green sauce and that was flavorful and had a kick to it. The red sauce was ok, but not as good as the green sauce. My guy had the beef soup and he said it was good. Can't go wrong with that. I normally don't think horchata and decided to try it. I'm not a big fan. It tastes like cinnamon to me. My guy said it wasn't as sweet as other places. I love how they had a banner with a recession deal! Small place. Great prices for the amount of food. Definitely would come back to try other things out.

Food was cold!!! The guacamole seems taken out right from the fridge and put in my torta . It made my torta freaking cold and nasty. I want a good service and a warm torta! btw , the horchata is good. and that's the only thing i like abt it.

I was close to the area so I decided to try it thanks to the Yelp reviews and the fact that I LOVE burritos. The cashier was nice and the menu was simple to understand. She was helpful in describing some of the items on the menu like the Bear Burrito (which to my shock does not include bear meat) and the different spices in the salsa. I ordered a steak burrito to go and when I got home I noticed how huge the burrito was and how filling it was. But the steak wasn't very good and tasted like a mix between being grilled and boiled plus it was kind of bland too. If I am close to the area again, I might be tempted to try it again.

Went here a LOOOONG time ago, before I was Yelping and I had to review! Small and tiny on prices but not on flavor. I remember this was the first place that I had EVER had a taco or burrito from that wasn't Taco Bell. The steak was excellent. If I am ever in the neighborhood again...I WILL BE BACK!

Was visiting some friends in the McKinley neighborhood and Inos was recommended. The BEST fish tacos I have ever had! Thick and fresh tilapia fillets seared with just the right amount of spices. If only I lived in Chicago I'd be eating there every week! Oh and with a bowl of chips and huge bowl of pico de gallo all came to under $6.00!

I had plans to help decorate my friend's apt for Christmas and to order in for dinner. She recommended Ino's when we were having trouble deciding on somewhere casual and close to eat. I've never heard or been here before, considering I live close by. I'm a veggie, and she mentioned that the veggie burrito is good, as well as i read some good reviews on here. I'm usually not a huge fan of burritos since they are huge and too filling for me, as well I'm not a huge fan of flour tortilla. I thought to give it a try, and it's actually one of the better burritos I've had. They stuffed it with so much rice mmmmmm I'm a carb addict, and guac and of course veggies. I love that the flour was not super thick like others, where I can taste it. which is why i do not like flour tortillas. It was thin, and surprisingly when I cut it in half, most of the filling did not fall out. They packed it pretty good. It was quite yummy!

I had a steak, a chicken , and a barbacoa taco. They were ok. They just weren't all that tasty. The green hot sauce is very tasty and has a nice burn. The choice for cheese was between American and "white". No big deal. I like that they were open at 10:45pm on Friday. I also like the fact that I can walk there in five minutes. The price of $1.95 per taco with cheese was A-OK. Three tacos and I was pretty stuffed. I actually bought six and could not fit another one down. Good food for the price.

I have to say that the Chicken and Steak Bear Burritos are quite tasty (though I skip the cheese and always ask for extra onion and cilantro to give it a tad bit more yumminess). They truly do give you value for the money. I love the large (super-sized) Horchata without ice. It's such a great treat. The pico de gallo is very yummy - heavy citrus leanings, though... which can be quite hazardous to my health late at night. The chips can be very, very greasy...to the point of not being enjoyable...that is one thing I would like to see changed. However, when eaten with guac, you can easily forget that. Regarding the staff...they are usually pretty cool. Though I am half Mexican, I don't speak any Spanish and...it got frustrating a couple of times but I now know everyone and they get it right 99.9% of the time. A good yummy meal...

Inos serves up a mediocre burrito, if you're looking for something good look elsewhere.

i just started going to this place recently. Been here twice so far. It's pretty good Mexican food on the cheap too. I had the steak burritos as well as the steak tacos before. Both very good, and packed with meat. I never seen a taco this packed anywhere else. They also got some very good chips and a awesome salsa free if your dining in. It has about 2-3 tables. Theres not really an atmosphere, its just a quick carry out place. Don't let the look of the place fool you though, it's good stuff/

Is being able to be a fatass on a shoestring ever a good thing? I'm talking $3, $4 burritos the size of your arm and about as heavy, full of refried frijole goodness. They got Chipotle beat and no mistake. You might need to know about 5 or so words of Spanish, depending on who's manning the place. Generally a good sign as far as food authenticity is concerned.

Sometimes after work I come home and began to hit the bottle fairly hard and before I know it I am half drunk with an empty stomach. That's when I take a 5 minute stroll over to Ino's. I'll admit it's not the best Mexican food, I've had but, it's certainly not the worst, and in fact quite far from it. I personally abstain from burritos but this seems to be their specialty. I am always sucker for their steak taco's though. They chock them full of skirt steak and onions and cilantro add some green hot sauce and lime and you're top of the world. Hard to top it off, but I always find their Horchata to be perfect accompnimet to be very tasty while not being sickening sweet. Their service is run of the mill but still courteous and thorough. I always will be a sucker for Ino's food even if it ends up on the pavement somewhere later in the night.

Their veggie burritos are fat, guac-laden, and full of awesomeness (but sometimes messy). That is all.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
