Mmm, pizza puffs are one of my favorite foods, and that would be the last meal I would request if I was ever in prison. I love it. So beautifully fried, over-filled with abundance of cheese, fennel seeds, bits of sausages throughout - so hot, greasy, and fulfills whatever craving you have. Iltaco, I love you for continuing on this Chicago staple and allowing it be available at the fast food joints throughout the Chicagoland area. +PIZZA PUFFS ;D

Yep, these are my downfall. Every time I go to Chicago the first thing I do right after getting picked up from the airport.. stop and get an Original Pizza Puff! Iltaco had the monopoly on this gooey greasy goodness. I would love to be able to purchase these here in Southern California. If anyone knows of a way for me to get my hands on gooey cheesy fennel seed sausagy pizza puff, please reply to me here on Yelp. I miss you Original Pizza Puffs and I'm willing to pay for your greasy goodness! A forever devoted fan in Southern California.

The pizza puff is the single most delectable snack made in the history of Chicago food. Natives and transplants alike take heed: this greasy snack will tickle you pink and leave you in a state of satiation that matches no other oiled up snack. Have you ever heard of a calzone? Think of a pizza puff as flatter, smaller, and rectangular shape. Now take this little rectangular pizza filled pastry and now DEEP FRY it! All of a sudden, turn on the wa wa wi wa face and you have witnessed the birth of the pizza puff. Look, I am no fan of monopolies, but Il taco is THE absolute lord of the pizza puff. They invented it decades ago and think of them as the Kronos of the pizza puff kingdom. They are the one manufacturer of this slice of ambrosia from the gods and you can even find pizza puffs in your local frozen food section if you are looking hard enough. Pizza puffs now come in original flavor, beef, deluxe, four cheese, ham & cheese, pepperoni, and taco puff. The possibilities are endless and I can't wait to get a pizza puff!! Final Warning: Do NOT try to eat two pizza puffs, instant food coma will strike you down for such gluttony!!

Heads, up, Yelpers, this location isn't a restaurant nor does it sell the Iltaco products to folks wandering in off the street... This is where they manufacture the food for distribution. Having lived around the corner for over 3 years, I couldn't believe I had missed out on an a local eatery. In reality, I haven't. I've never sampled the pizza puff, so I can't speak to the quality of deliciousness the previous reviewers have provided. I will, however, look for one in the frozen food isle, as the reviews certainly made a great case for them. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to arrive at the front desk of the business office and subsequently leave without a pizza puff in hand... :'-(
