I Love this place . I stop in quite frequently on my way to work.the morning crew is awesome especially the girl who works the drive thru.since i do go so regularly they know what i want and have it ready sometimes before i even get to the counter.

Iced coffee here was great! They have just started having milk substitutes without an extra charge. This is amazing because if you go anywhere else it's almost a dollar extra to get the substitute. Dunkin also had a sweet deal this month for dollar coffees when you use their card. Amazing! It's made me rethink where I get my coffee now!

Exactly 14 days ago I ordered a pumkin latte and they said they didnt have them anymore. I told them they should remove the sign at the drive thru saying they do then. Well still there. They even said they would tell the manager because people were asking for it and now they knew why.

The folks who run this drive thru are polite, fast and so efficient. The line moves quickly and even if there are 20 cars, I know it won't be a long wait. I always enjoy the folks running that drive thru window. There is not another drive thru in Chicago that runs as efficiently as this one. Period.

I came here with a friend a couple of weeks ago. I had a coupon for free junior scoops and it was about time I used them! Who cares if it was 20 degrees? Ice cream is ice cream! I tried a couple of flavors to be a bit adventurous, but I stuck with cookies and creme. Why? Their sorbet tasted like it ice with a bit of fruit. Like I was eating ice cream that got freezer burn. I like their froyo ice cream flavor attempt, but sorry. It's not enough for me.

The man got our order wrong twice and refused to change it claiming that we "changed our mind." When actually he was on his cell phone while taking our order. UNBELIEVEABLE.

I have only been on the inside of this place once and it was a disaster because there were so many people and so many strollers and it is kind of a small place. However, the drive thru is awesome, super fast and they are sooooo friendly! I am not used to that at Dunkin Donuts, but I appreciate it!

I worked here for almost a year in 2007, and most of the people I worked with are still there (at least the morning staff and some overnighters). the manager, pinky, who works in the morning is awesome. she's friendly, and if you don't give her an attitude she'll be more than helpful in regard to refunds and order changes. The rest of the morning ladies, though is a different story. i think they've just been working there for too long and they're sick of being in the customer service business. Maria (older, hispanic lady who works afternoons on the weekends) has been there for 30+ years! Shes sweet :) I'm clearly very biased, but I CAN say that the place is generally clean, and it looks AWESOME now with the new remodeling (public bathrooms, yay!). i don't know who is handing out burned coffee (maybe the stressed out morning ladies, or new employees who just don't care) but i've never had any kind of sub par coffee from there in all of my years of going. and no, i don't get any special treatment... all the coffee comes from the same few pots that are already made.

Curse this place for making me crave a dough-nut anytime I walk by. I think they're holding Homer Price hostage in back. They're open 24-7, and only poor Homer and his crazy prolific dough-nut machine can keep the place going. I suppose many customers enjoy the convenience that this location's drive-thru offers, but as a carless person, I find it annoying. It blocks the sidewalk constantly, and when it doesn't, you get people flying in to beat oncoming Ashland traffic. I suppose there's no dignified way to become a victim of vehicular manslaughter, but doing so because Tina in her Dodge Neon was in a rush for an iced coffee and an egg & cheese wrap isn't quite how anyone imagines it. There is a fellow who sits in his junk truck in the parking lot here for most of the day and night. I suppose he buys a coffee or two per day, otherwise they wouldn't let him camp out constantly. I can't help but wonder, though, if he's the one feeding the giant flock of winged rats that live on the other side of the store. I eye him suspiciously whenever I walk by, but we have yet to make eye contact.

The location is ok, can be a bit overwhelming because there isn't a lot of wait space for drive thru, but service is okay and my hazelnut iced coffee and bagel were the same as other locations, delicious!!!!! I love my Dunkin Donuts! :)

When just getting donuts or ice cream, this place isn't bad. Often though I've found the employees chatting with each other more so than getting things done. This morning was definitely not an exception. It was deathly slow today and I still had to stand waiting at the counter before someone helped me. (They also botched my entire order... my wrap-up lacked sausage, and the gave me the wrong donuts! .. of course I didn't know until I had already gotten to work.) (Which I think is weird... honestly I don't know if what they're serving really is a latte...) The coffee is never spectacular.. and like others have said does tend to have a burnt taste. This is also the ONLY place EVER that has asked me if I want sugar in my latte. I'll still go there, because overall the donuts are still great... but I definitely try to avoid this place for coffee...

This is my local DD. For the most part the service is pretty good. There have been a couple of times when my order has been completely botched, but overall they do just fine. The fact that they're open 24 hours is the best thing about this place. I find the Baskin Robbins side of things especially tough to resist. They now carry these little pre-packaged sundaes that are much smaller versions of the ones they serve. I love those and for under $3 they are a nice little treat. One thing I really, really appreciate is the kindness of the employees on the morning after Christmas when we had the horrible ice storm. I was driving home in the middle of the storm and when I got home I couldn't park due to all the ice. It was 5am, I was exhausted, drove around for 45 minutes and couldn't find parking. I was ready to give up, but then I figured I would ask. The nice people at Dunkin Donuts let me leave my car in their lot for hours while I went home and slept. So nice! Thanks DD!

It's a Dunkin' Donuts...what can you really expect. I got some iced tea, and the guy looked at me like I ordered Romulan Ale. Star Trek for life bitchez.

This used to be my favorite Dunkin' Donuts...but now, I'll only go at night. It's hit or miss during the morning/afternoon whether the coffee will be fresh (or just exactly how old it is). The other thing is, my order is always wrong. It's nothing complicated, I swear, but the only time it's right is at night when a particular person is working. So long, best Dunkin' Donuts in Chicago.....

I make a stop at this DD location on my way to work every morning. I'm always greeted at the Drive-Thru window by name and my much-needed XL coffee, easy easy. Though the drive-thru line may look intimidating with long lines, the staff is quick and efficient in punching each and everyone in and out of there with coffee at hand in a timely manner.

I stop here on the regular at 6 a.m., and the lady working the drive-thru is always super nice. I feel like she deserves some props for that since I'm a cranky asshole at such an ungodly hour before I've had my coffee.

This review is for the coffee and the service, not the donuts. Never tried them. Never will. I used to be a huge fan of DD coffee, but that was before I tasted the sweet nectar of REAL coffee (pretty much anything besides DD). The reality is, DD coffee is very watered down, but that's okay cause when you're a zombie early in the morning, it's the minimal kick you need to get you going. Blueberry iced coffee with creamer and stevia is a personal favorite of mine (weird combo, I know, but give it a chance!). They have a plethora of fun flavors to choose from. For many years I have been a patron at this DD location and it is the BEST location I have had experience with in the city. Jaime's often working the drive-thru window and he's such a pleasure to deal with. He's always got a smile on his face and is eager to engage in conversation (at least until another car pulls up behind me). There were even days when I would come by for my usual order, but in a sour mood, and he would cheer me up by writing something on my drink cup or something cheesy like that. He's a nice fella. These days I don't come around DD much, but I'm pretty sure Jaime is still around. I need to pay him a visit soon to say hello.

So after some discussion my gf and I agreed there are definitely "good" Dunkin Donuts and "bad" Dunkin Donuts in the Chicago area. Good meaning that reliably we get good coffee (e.g. not burnt, caff/decaf, etc)... bad meaning that they, more often than not, seem to get something 'not right' or just plain wrong. Unfortunately, especially if you're looking for some Dunkin Donuts coffee, skip this location... whip out your mobile phone and find the next closest location. Consistently provide 'burnt-tasting' regular and decaf coffees... and while to a much lesser degree they will fail on a drive-through order and get you the completely wrong item or forget to but and toast the bagel... dumb stuff like that.
