Tried to redeem a free iced coffee after Blackhawks win tonight and the cashier said my card didn't exist or some excuse. Didn't bother to help me after I opened the mobile coupon (which expires in 10 minutes after opening), awful service I'd say.

I seriously dislike this Dunkin Donuts & I really wish that I could rate this place a -5. The cashier in the morning is always extremely rude & mumbles little things under his breath. Refused to scan my Dunkin Donuts card on my phone. And I honestly feel that he may be racist, & this place is always under staffed. Worst Dunkin Donuts EVERYYY!!! I rather go across the street and pay more for Starbucks Coffee.

Thank you for being open 24-hours and seven days a week, to cater to my after work and weekend coffee fix. During the morning rush, this place can get rather hectic, but the cashiers are very efficient. I usually get a veggie flatbread sandwich a few times a week, and that's where some trouble comes in. You wait for you food order in a cramped corner of the store, and when it is brought out, they will call out the order. Unfortunately, it is hard to hear them. If you don't claim your food right away because of this, when you finally do, prepare to get hit with a load of attitude as well. I was berated the other day for not paying attention. Hell, I couldn't heat the mumbling employee over the crowd. Good place for your coffee fix on a budget, but I could really live without the attitude.

It's got donuts. Probably other stuff. The donut price is 10% higher than at every other Dunkin' I've been to in the area. The cashier forgot to give me my change and then had a bit of attitude about how inconvenient it was to get the cash drawer open. I'm going to the place two blocks north next time.

When we passed this place by on a Thursday morning, the smell of donuts reminded us we hadn't eaten breakfast. Went in, got our donuts, and went out. Easy, clean, fast, affordable. And 3 donuts for $2.55 = love. Nice location, lots of tables and chairs, and, duh - DONUTS!

Sorry I stopped! I was so looking forward to a Friday morning treat, a DD breakfast sandwich and coffee. Went in, no line. While ordering the cashier calls out the lady's order behind me. I finish ordering and proceeded to wait for ten minutes for the wrong order. I am normally a patient person but when I'm waiting and one employee is on her cell phone, one is eating donut holes, four are standing laughing and talking and two just look oblivious, I start to not enjoy my experience - at all. Finally, get my order. It is wrong. I asked for a number 4 and got a number 5. Very frustrated. I took it and just left. Needless to say that I will NEVER go back. It's too easy to spend my money elsewhere and get what I ordered, in a timely fashion with customer service. Too bad. Gave it one star because I had to at least give it something to post the review.

At this corner, where I frequently find myself from getting off the Amtrak from Milwaukee and walking to the El, there are four choices for a cup of coffee. None are ideal, but this turns out to be your best choice weighing the freshness of the average cup, the speed of service, and the quality of the service.

Really bad service and not much selection. The language barrier was also a huge issue. Only plus is that it is open 24 hours, but I would recommend McDees for a snack across the street instead.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stopped in at about 10:45pm on Friday Night. The wife and I wanted a decaf coffee to go with our Sprinkle Bakery Cupcakes, too late for caffeine. So, as we made our way to the 290, we saw this DD was open, I ran in, the place was dirty, I ordered 2 decafs & the guy behind the counter said he didn't have any, only regular. I said "are you out or do you not want to make it"? He said he wouldn't make it because no one would drink it. I couldn't believe he refused to make me coffee. I asked him you are refusing to serve me & he said yes, I was pissed, told him I'd be contacting the corporate office on Monday to complain

I guess I've had bad luck lately, just checked my recent reviews and all are complaining about bad service... sorry but true! I was here this morning. It took me 20 minutes (time taken looking at the time stamp on my receipt and the time I fought my way to get my bagel!) They have order numbers in the receipts, but the employees decided not to use them and just call out the items... well... how many people you think orders "plain bagel with cream cheese" at 7:45 AM in a weekday? Don't have to be a genious to imply that MANY, especially when they are as slow as they can be. After 20 minutes and literally fighting with three people who had ordered the same item I end up giving up and just waiting there until the mercy of one of the employees got me my bagel. 20 minutes for one bagel... not coming back again.

Every morning I come in for my coffee, every morning they get me in and out quickly. The coffee isn't phenomenal but it's always hot and I know they will get me to work on time with a smile. I went in tree one afternoon and it wa a different pace, but I'm ok with that.

Besides the fact that my job is a short walk away, I still don't know why I bother coming to this place. I guess it's the coffee...... Okay, the issues that I have with this DD location are: 1) I work at nite (3rd shift, two nites a week) and every time I stop in, the service is SUPER SLOW, even at times when I'm the only customer there!!! What is the problem?? I understand that at certain times of the day, the bigger crowds and faster service are expected, but since this is a 24-hour location, shouldn't the service be expedited at all times...and shouldn't there be a reasonable selection of FRESH donuts and bagels at all times?? 2) The guy who's there at nite must be on shrooms or something.... sometimes I have to repeat myself to him several times, telling him what I want to drink/what sandwich I want. Plus, I was there earlier tonight, ordered a coffee and a bagel. Got the coffe quick, but took FOREVER AND A DAY to give me my bagel. Then, I also had my lunch, in another small bag which was falling apart. So, I asked him for a plastic bag of theirs to put my DD bag and my lunch in. He started mumbling (I couldn't understand him) and hesitated for a minute. I stood there, as irritated as the other customer, now waiting just to place her order. I thought that the customer gets what the customer asks for.... Stop being so cheap and gimme the damn bag!! Anyway, I've been coming to this location (off and on) for a few years, and it seems like I've always the worse experiences at nite. So, I suggest to you fellow Yelpers, if you visit this location, go for the coffee and skip the food.... because you may be waiting a hundred years for it. To Dunkin Donuts: HIRE MORE NIGHT CREW, DAMMIT!!!!!

This review is for service. I'm new to the Loop and they get it done quick. As you're walking down the ramp to the counter, they are already asking what you want, your coffee is ready as your paying your bill. Fab.

Typical DD... this place gets HECTIC during the morning rush but they manage to handle it reasonably well. Can't speak for the coffee, but I actually really like their breakfast sandwiches for some odd reason. Tried to get 30 donuts around noon for an office party once but they only had like six. If you're called Dunkin DONUTS shouldn't you have some donuts on hand at NOON?

There are several strikes that this location has against it. Firstly, it opened just about a month before yet ANOTHER Dunkin' Donuts (with a Baskin Robbins) opened up just one block away. And let's not forget that this one opened up in a location where a different Dunkin' Donuts was already just one block away in a different direction. The market is being overly-saturated and I don't understand how this business model works if the locations are close enough to practically compete with themselves. I've heard people say, "No, let's go to the GOOD one - it's just a block away," and that can't be good for business. Well, it's good for business at the "good" one, but bad for business at the "not as good" one - but they're THE SAME BUSINESS!?!? Secondly, it's right across from a Starbucks. I understand that in the coffee world, Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts are rivals, but that's no excuse to open up right across the street. You know who else made a habit of doing that? Circuit City and its many many locations right across from Best Buy - and now Circuit City's pretty much so bankrupt it might not even have enough money to FILE for bankrupcy. It's not just this Dunkin' Donuts - the existing location a block away is a few doors down from a Starbucks, and the location that opened a month later is in the same building as a Starbucks! Thirdly, pertaining to this specific location, is the fact that the place is set up backwards. Frankly it could all be fixed by fixing one sign right by the entrance, but they refuse to see the flaws in their logic. The problem is that the entry door leads to two paths marked by one sign. Move left down the handicap ramp where it says to START your journey, and the small set of stairs to the right where the sign says you will be EXITING. The problem is that the register where you order is on the RIGHT and the pickup area is on the LEFT. If you follow the sign, you have to navigate around people waiting for their order to get to the register and place your order, and then even though your brain knows it's a bad idea, you remember the sign and wind up having to navigate through the register line of people to get to the stairs that are designated as an exit. Even if you do try and navigate the logical way, the customers who are following the sign's way will impede on your progress, since all spaces are narrow. Yes, my fourth issue with this place is simply that it is tiny. I've been in smaller Dunkin' Donuts locations, square-footage-wise, and with proper traffic flows and furniture setup, it can totally work. This location, however, created such a giant ramp just to be handicap-accessible that it had to be rather narrow (yet up to code) and the resulting remaining space by the register and pick-up area is also narrow, allowing for bare-bones seating. My fifth issue is that my bagel was rather stale-tasting for 7:15am, and while the amount of cream cheese was adequate to cover the entirety of my bagel, it did not seem like a good value and resulted in a thinner-than-I-prefer layer of cream cheese. We Jewish people have high standards for our morning bagels with shmear! All in all, though, I have to boost their rating up a bit because while the location sucks, the place is clean - and while the layout sucks, the workers are attentive and courteous. I did enjoy my fritter here, though I've enjoyed probably 95% of all apple fritters I've ever encountered. I'm not certain that I'll be back to this location, though. The one that opened directly INSIDE the Sears Tower is what I currently consider to be "the good one".
