Discovered this place after bar time this weekend. I am happy there is another by-the-slice place in WP, although I do love Santullo's. Pros: The selection is great... many different pizzas to choose from and they come out pretty quickly. Beer... They serve alcohol, tap beer, I might add. Quick...They seemed to move through the line pretty quickly, so don't worry about a long wait if you're hungry. Cons: Pricey... I was sort of surprised at the cost. 2 slices and a beer was $15. I wouldn't say it's over the top, but probably a bit more aggressive than I was expecting. Cleanliness...Maybe it was the time of night, but it seemed as though they were ignoring the tables. We had to shove stuff around and wipe ours down ourselves to eat. (minor) All in all, happy it's here. Will be back again.

First time at this location and I am left in total bliss just as I was two years ago at the Wrigleyville location. I walked in and it is very clean and the pizza makers have an awesome vibe and offered to make whatever I wanted even though I would only get one slice. It is a big open space with couches in front and a tap for water drinkers and cool decor. Food: I am not a vegan kind of girl but I like to try crazy things here and they just so happened to have a vegan philly pizza out and it was spectacular. They also made a version of a Hawaiian pizza just for me. Ringing in at $4/ slice it is definitely worth it for all the different specialty pizzas and I live in NYC where pizza usually reigns. Also several condiments at the table including sriracha. If you want a crispy slice with interesting toppings Dimos doesn't disappoint. Oh and Free wifi

Dimo's, I LOVE YOU! Their current special, the Elote pizza leaves me speechless. Have you ever gotten a cup of Mexican corn from a cart? Well, it's the same thing but on pizza plus chile rajas. They have all kinds of cool concoctions of toppings but they still keep the originals like pepperoni for finicky patrons. To me, this is like New York style pizza, but better than ANYTHING you can get in the big apple. One star fell off because sometimes a see a darn fly or two hanging out by the open pizzas. By the way, this location is better than the Wrigleyville one in terms of the people, the crowd here is 1/3 less obnoxious than the Cub's hood. lol Bon Appetit!

One my favorite nights of recent memory ended here. Tired and with a long drive out of the city ahead of me, I stopped here with a friend to grab a couple of late night slices. I was astounded by the selection, and more so, was impressed with how filling the slices were. The flavors weren't novelty at all, just delicious the whole way through. I'll be returning.

I wanted to save my 100th review for something really, really, really special, even though it isn't chronological. As soon as we left Dimo's I knew this would be my coveted hundredth review. THE QUICK AND DIRTY: ambiance: 5 / 5 service: 5 / 5 food: 6 / 5 *bonus for vegan other: very conveniently located near the blue line Damen stop THE LONG-DRAWN OUT: After consulting my trusty Yelper's and reviews from some local vegans, I knew that Dimo's was a must-do place on my must-do list. Being vegan menu studying before venturing is a requirement. I was ecstatic to see that the offerings were virtually 1:1 - meaning, for every 1 slaughter-house pizza for you meat eaters there was 1 astonishing version of that pizza, veganized. I was PUMPED! After finding out that we were outside of Dimo's delivery area, my partner and I made a date night to sample this gem. At first I was disappointed they didn't deliver in our area but after going I am so glad they don't; they are too. First, I would have them deliver three times a day, everyday. Second, I would miss out on all of the great folks behind the counter. All of those amazing folks who not only make this awesome deliciousness but who have the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. When you walk in, the store opens itself up with high ceilings, swank drop lights and a large seating area. Head up to the counter where you find fresh pies and warm, friendly smiles. You can choose to go by the slice or order a whole pie. We are big foodies and eaters and can confidently say that for us a 12" pizza was more than enough plus it provided for left-overs. The 20" mega-heifer pizza would feed a small army; one or two slices from that and you're golden. What goes best with amazing pizza? Beer. Do they have it? You betcha! Though I wasn't born in Chicago, I got here as fast as I could so I'm transplant-hometown proud and loyal to my Chicago brands like Goose Island. I'm a big fan of Green Line and was happy to try a new brew from G.I. (not gastrointestinal) on tap at Dimo's: Blue Line. It paired beautifully with my vegan Mac'N'Cheese pizza. The pizza was OMG-squared good. Perfectly and expertly cooked, the noodles were perfect tenderness and the crust was reminiscent of my favorite New York pizza joint. The pie was blanketed with a delicious alfredo-like sauce and vegan cheese-a-plenty. My partner is not vegan but he loved his chicken-bacon-bbq pizza all the same. I am looking forward to my next visit already and my stomach is growling as I write this review. I can't wait to try all of their vegan pizzas to find my favorite. I give Dimo's my highest rating and highest recommendation for vegans and non-vegans which actually isn't easy to come by. We will definitely be back soon.

I want to like this place, but every experience I have there is a total disappointment. The staff is rude and the pizza is usually cold, unless it's burnt. It's too bad because it's so convenient and I like the concept. Worst pizza in Chicago (not really, but just trying to counteract all of the "best pizza in Chicago" reviews). If you think this is the best pizza in Chicago then you must not have been to any of the other pizza places in Chicago.

I swear I'm still on a pizza high.... I found this place on instagram and FINALLY made it out to try some mac n cheese pizza. I mean carbs on carbs, how could you not?! It was even better than I had imagined. So good. AND it was only $4 for a huge slice. I will definitely be back to try more, if I can convince myself to not ALWAYS order the mac n cheese. I heard they have a chicken and waffles pizza so that's a must.

One of my favorite places of all time to eat at. The crazy variety of pizzas as well as the unique drinks and treats make it so you are trying something new every time (though everyone has to try the mac and cheese pizza at least once). At 4$ a slice of pizza, one cannot go wrong here.

This is an update from my initial one star rating when the pizza was burnt. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service, as they promptly followed up and offered me a free pizza, and the person taking my second order was very friendly and understanding. On my second attempt, the employee recommended I get one of their specialty pizzas, as they're more known for their vegetarian and other pies. So instead of going with my stand-by pepperoni and sausage, I tried their BBQ chicken. Ingredients were great and it was cooked well, but If I'm being honest, the pizza deserves a 3 star rating; however the way they handled the situation deserves an extra star. Props for making a poor experience right-- good people obviously work here.

The vegan Philly Cheesesteak pizza is the best pizza I have EVER had - hands down! The crust is amazing with a crunch added to a chewy section of delectable toppings and vegan cheese. Any pizza slice is gonna be at least good because of the crust alone. I also had the vegan man n cheese which has a potential for sure but tasted a little closer on the bland side to me. Ask for a side of their delicious (vegan) ranch and your mind will explode! I've never even liked ranch (pre-vegan not post) but this one has something that will make anyone go nuts! Dip your pizza in it for a true Dimo's experience. The service was excellent and the pizza was delightful to the taste buds. I definitely recommend the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of ranch! 5/5

I'm a little addicted to the elotes pizza. I don't even eat pizza like that but I've been here farrrrr to often this week. I love that you can buy slices, but their whole pizza prices are really good too. They have a decent draft selection, but be warned, the bourbon is pretty bad. I get mine to go and drink at home, lol.

$4 for mouth watering slices of mind altering pizza? Yes, please. This place doesn't just have your typical cheese pizza here. My friend and I came here for the first time the other night. First of all I love how late this place is open. They have variety of pizza out when you walk up to the counter area. The only downside is they don't have any signs explaining what is what but the staff is more than happy to answer any questions you might have. So far I've tried the Philly Cheese Steak, The Mac, Smores and the Balsamic Tomato slices. My friend and I came here 2 days in a row just so we could check out what else they had. They do have a decent amount of seating for anyone who wants to dine-in. I look forward to more visits here!

I love this place. Great pizza by the slice with fantastic veggie options. They also have a pretty decent salad selection. Free wifi and a few beers on top. It's a cool place for lunch or late night. There should be one on every street corner in chicago. Seriously.

Wandering around the neighborhood on a leisurely Monday afternoon and realized I should probably eat lunch. A friend had recently been raving about Dimo's interesting pizza selections and availability of vegan options (I'm not vegan, but appreciate a place with options). As I waited for my nails to dry at a nearby salon, I checked the Yelp reviews and saw Dimo's has $3 craft beer pints on Monday, and since Chicago has an anti Happy Hour law, that means ALL DAY. Don't mind if I do. Dimo's is only a few steps north of North Ave on the east side of the street. I mention this because I initially walked too far. Upon entering, I noticed the layout was inviting and open, with plenty of signage telling you which way to go for a slice. Surveying the wide array of eclectic slices, my eyes were immediately drawn to the large slice of pie topped with ... corn??? Is that ELOTES pizza??? Two of my favorite foods merged into one??? Amazing. Simply amazing. After I picked my slice, the kind gentleman behind the counter helped me select the proper pint to pair. Love at first bite, it was everything I dreamed of and more. The creaminess of the mayo merging with cheese crumbles and the spicy hint of chile powder and chunks of poblano. On my way out, I snagged all the remaining slices to go. ***Random Chicago rant, Milwaukee/Damen/North may have six corners, as many major intersections involving diagonal streets do, but it is not Six Corners. That title will always belong to Irving Park/Cicero/Milwaukee.***

The Mac & Cheese pizza here is awesome. The staff is super friendly & most importantly they have local Craft Beer on tap which always wins my heart! Definitely a good place to check out. [Pizza/Beer/Vegan friendly - 5 STARS!

Duh, Dimos is awesome for beer and pizza by the slice, especially since they are radically inclusive and not your average young douchebag hangout (like wicker park and wrigleyville, generally speaking)

Vegan choices, dessert pizzas too and beer. The places is hipster heaven. They're open late, so late that they don't even have a time listed on the door. Just 11am-LATE. Decor is all about bikes. There's bikes on the ceiling. You get a punch card if you like, at the register. So far, I've tried the Mac and cheese pizza (its OK), the chicken finger pizza which has some kind of BBQ sauce and white sauce drizzle over it. I wasn't too stoked on the white drizzle because I can be prudish on occasion but I'll try most things once. It was good. The girl taking orders convinced me to try this chicken and waffles pizza that I'll have for breakfast and report back. I just tried this Stiegl grapefruit beer for the first time. I recommend that with any of the pizzas if you like a sweeter cidar. Tonight I sat up front, charged my phone and watched out the window as people Instagram their dogs.

Terrible customer service. I was put on hold 3 times. Finally got place my order and and was told it would be about an hour. 90 minutes later and nothing. Called the restaurant to see what the deal was and they said it was on it's way. It finally arrived, completely void of any sort of heat. I called Dimo's back hoping they might be cool and replace it. Nope, no such luck. So I finally got to taste the amazing Dimo's pizza my friends had raved about. Maybe it's better hot and fresh but the first thing I noticed was the worst crust I think I've ever had the disgust of tasting. So dry, so bland and flavorless. The sauce was terribly mediocre and thin. Cheese and veggies tasted like they were originally frozen. To sum it up Dimo's offers clever and what could potentially be really tasty off beat pizza options but whoever there main cook is needs to study up on how to actually make the product they're selling because they currently completely fail at the core of their business which is making an edible pizza.

This is a nice neighborhood pizza joint to grab just a slice. It is open late but isn't a place that is limited to only after bar visits. Its pizza stands on its own. Service is generally pretty good and everyone is friendly and helpful. I really like their thin but soft crust. I've tried the pepperoni, chicken tender, and their tomato/feta/spinach. They were all pretty good. I thought the pepperoni could use a little more meat on it. I haven't had the salad yet but it looks good. It was also reasonably priced too- 2 slices, a beer and a cider were less than $20.

I want to give this 5 stars because they serve vegan pizza, and I go through times in my life when I become very lactose intolerant and they saved me. That also have unusual and delicious pizza toppings. They dropped in my book after I tried to order a few pizzas for my party and they were late by like 2 hours. I called to cancel the order because party was ending (it was getting to midnight!), and whoever was talking the call was trying to justify and being defensive about how busy they are on Saturday night. Well, that information should have been communicated when I placed my order. I will still eat here occasionally, but never will I order again. Taste is good: these are more hipster style pizza with empanels on toppings, and dough isn't the focus here. Price range on the more expensive but still reasonable side.

It's sort of a travesty that I'm somewhere on the scale between slightly inebriated and incredibly inebriated at least 75% of the time I eat here... because the pizza is amazing and I probably don't appreciate it near as much as I should. Employees are super talkative and just seem to be generally happy people. One of my favorite times to go have (two) slices and a beer early on a friday afternoon after work before it gets too crowded.

What's there not to love? Pizza is delicious, always fresh and not to mention tons of variety. I also appreciate that Dimo's seems to be a very green business, they use recycled boxes, deliver only using bicycles and not cars as far as a I have seen, among other green details. Gotta love the hours too, open nice and late for those of us who happen to need a late night snack here and there. Highly recommended!

There is no day I am not craving Dimo's pizza. I was in the wicker park area getting a few drinks, and my friends and I started to feel realllly hungry. Though we had some donuts earlier from Stan's, it didn't quite hit the spot, so I led them over to one of my favorite food stops: Dimo's!. My friends happily enjoyed the sights of all the specialty pizzas in front of them, and I immediately zoned in on the macaroni and cheese with chicken mole. The classic bbq chicken looked delicious as well, and because I had a few drinks in me beforehand, I ordered a third slice of classic mac and cheese pizza- this is why I attempt to drink as infrequently as possible. The chicken mole pizza was so satisfying. I found it better than the classic mac and cheese because, well, there was delicious protein! Normally I don't enjoy mole sauce all that much, but it wasn't very strong and the chicken, mac and cheese, and crispy crust with hot sauce combo was heavenly. The bbq chicken always delivers, but I think I should get something next time since it was a bit more on the ordinary side. Another thing that I love about Dimo's is the hot sauce they use: they have both sriracha and vinegary hot sauce which are perfect condiments for the pizza. Though $4 a slice is somewhat steep, my friends and I agree that Dimo's is amazing.

So far I've had the loaded potato pizza and the Mac and cheese. Loaded potatoe was okay, Mac and cheese was kinda boring... just Mac and cheese on bread, I asked for pizza sauce abs they gave me some icy sauce from the freezer... foods okay, I just like going because it's a cool place to meet up with a friend.

They neither know where 6 corners is (clue not in wicker park) nor great pizza many places in the hood do it much better.

Ehrmahgerd. Pizza Delivery Review Only, folks. "Baby, do you want to be dirty tonight and order the 20 inch?" Talk dirty to me, baby, indeed. The only thing I can find wrong with Dimos is that you can only order a 12 inch or a 20 inch pie. The 12 inch is probably OK for 2 people, but if you're dealing with a voracious appetite, just order the 20 inch and have leftovers. So let's get down to brass tacks: The pizza. It's AWESOME. I know they're known for crazy toppings, but I'm a boring pepperoni or cheese girl and believe you me, Dimo's DELIVERS with the classic toppings. The crust is thin and chewy - Def more in the NY style. They put on juuuuust enough cheese and toppings to not overwhelm and the sauce is tangy and not overly sweet. It's pizza perfection. Do it.

Love love love this place. Been here 3 times and each visit has been amazing. The first time I visited, I had the Mac n cheese pizza which was amazing but a bit too rich for me. The next time I had the chicken Alfredo pizza which was to die for. The third and most recent visit, I had the pulled pork with spicy Sriracha sauce. That was ah.may.zing. Dimo's has never let me down sober or drunk. Will be going back every time I go to Wrigleyville. Also the staff is pretty awesome. Expect to wait in line if you're going after last calls at the bars or on a major drinking holiday (i.e. St. Patty's), but the staff is quick and efficient and you won't have to wait for long. Try their specialty flavors you won't regret!

Dimo, oh dimo. Your staff is lovely and cute and there's no other place to wind up drunk none other than a chain cleaner than dive-bar-esque Santullo's that's playing club music round the clock. I want to like you so much because your slices look really artsy and appealing but your taste just does not match up to your looks. The first time I went here I forgot which slice I got because whatever was on it wasn't that memorable but your cheese toppings were adequately savory. The "killer bee" vegan slice I got was loaded with thinly sliced beets, sweetcorn and onions but the sauce was seriously *too* *sweet*. My friends got the waffle and chicken slice but they also concurred that it was too sweet and too doughy, too gimmicky. It's kind of a shame because the staff is so nice about explaining everything on each pizza and reheating it when I missed it coming up on the counter! pro-tip: if you have over 500+ instagram followers you can get a free slice swap on Popular Pays :-) and please, please ditch the philosophy classroom decor. (I cite the potted plants sitting on top of a pseudo-intellectual stack of books on American corporate critique) Update: everytime i've been to dimo's I realize I am missing my wallet, my credit card, or my ID. #curse

Excellent specialty pizza slices and a welcoming, informed staff. There's a seasonal oyster pizza which would be my penultimate last meal (the lunch bite before the big feast). I never understand the word "hipster" when applied to Bucktown/Wicker Park establishments. The late hours translate to a pretty relaxed atmosphere here and always an open table.

I ordered Dimo's for delivery the other night. I was having a lazy evening and the idea of cooking was unappealing. I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza. Having grown up on the east coast, I'm always on the look out for a NY-style-like pizza place in Chicago that can satisfy. This isn't quite NY, but it is seriously tasty. The crust was a little chewier than I would have liked. The toppings were excellent though. I got a fairly basic pepperoni but am now super curious to try some of their specialties. The sauce and cheese were excellent. I also ordered a side salad - the dictator. A Caesar salad with hard boiled eggs and lots of parm. The Caesar dressing was super thick and kind of hard to mix through the salad. But other than that it was yummy. Food was delivered quickly. I ordered fairly early, around 5 p.m. and had it in my hands by around 5:30/5:40-ish. I can't wait to try Dimo's again.

I heard Dimo's had a vegan mac and cheese pizza slice, along with some other interesting options. Unfortunately for me, vegan mac and cheese pizza was not offered the day I went to Dimo's. And the slices that were offered that day were pretty ordinary compared to the other Yelp posts I've seen (lasagna pizza, seitan chicken pizza, etc.). I did try two different slices and thought the were average, although there were a few things to note (below). I would try Dimo's again if I just happened to be in the area, but I won't be running there tomorrow or anything. Pros: + Several vegan options + Between 3-4 choices for vegan slices A+++ Cons: - Vegan options were bland, could have used more spices or added garlic - Could have used more sauce

Pros: Beer served + good taps Wasn't crowded during the Blackhawks game (since there weren't TVs) Cons: Crappy musician performing Pizza slices are $1.25 more than I can get back home at Ian's, Dimo's spin off restaurant. I like to see this place do well though considering they are based off a hometown place and competing against deep dish places.

The best words to describe Dimo's: FUN This place is great. No crazy waits or ridiculous cost. When you walk in you have a choice of 4-5 different styles of pizza by the slice, they have the classics (cheese, pepperoni, etc.), but they also have super fun, change it up styles of pizza. When I went I had the Bill Murray (deep fried chicken with mars bars) and a really tasty BBQ chicken pizza. My wife got the macaroni and cheese pizza and the margarita. She raved about the mac n cheese pizza. Both fantastic. Others have commented that this place is the sheezy when your drunk and I could definitely see why. My wife and I got four pieces total with two PBRs and I think the total was like $22 with tax. They even have beer and pizza specials that we didn't take part in. Not bad if your asking me. Critical part: Their pizza toppings are wonderful, but the only critique is their crust leaves a bit for me to desire. The crust was to thick for me compared to the thin NY style of their pizza. That being said, that is my personal liking and doesn't really factor into this place. Overall: Come here for a change of pace, simple, quick piece of pizza.

Mixed reviews across several visits. On the plus side, I enjoy the variety of pizza toppings available day-to-day. Staff is usually friendly and the food is good. I typically grab a slice or two for carryout on weekends during reasonably busy times. Never had a problem with that. Tonight's visit was a dine-in experience, and it left much to be desired... I ordered a salad and a pepperoni slice. My companion ordered salad, a slice of cheese and a glass of beer. At checkout, there were several people crowding the register, demanding to know where their orders were. The staff was quite frazzled and I looked down and realized my pepperoni slice only had *two* sad pieces of meat on it. I explained to the cashier that it was unacceptable... but she had angrier customers and seemingly bigger issues to deal with. So I accepted the order and we took our seats. Our salad bowls were visibly dirty. My companion had a black residue on her beer mug, which, coupled with the bowls and poor service, turned her off on the experience. A glance at the service counter showed more disgruntled patrons. No use in complaining there. So we finished what we could and left. Maybe Sunday evening visits are just a bad deal, but this was definitely inconsistent with earlier experiences. I may try again sometime.

My girlfriend wanted to get a drink but was like "No way I need some food first. Let's go to Dimo's!" See cuz I had been to the Wrigleyville location and I knew the pizza was dope and I was totally feeling some pizza. Anyways we got there and I was expecting to walk into a tiny drunk tank like Dimo's Wrigleyville but this place was huge AND THEY HAD BEER. So we got a Chicken cheddar bbq slice that was solid and a mac and cheese slice that will probably haunt me in the most delicious ways for the rest of my life. Seriously you guys. So hauntingly delish. Beer selection was tight and they have frequent rewards cards that I look forward to losing every time I'm one punch away from a free slice. 12 out of 5 stars, would recommend to a friend.

Great creative choices of pizza by the slice. This neighborhood definitely lacked it Pre-Dimo's. There is a place that I used to go to in Wrigleyville but it's way too far. Cute/cool atmosphere inside and the pizza tastes great. I recommend the BBQ chicken with Ranch. YUMM!

I normally wouldn't review a place like this...essentially a drunk food place. But I was thinking about, and Dimo's is so much more than that. Yes, they sell pizza by the slice. Yes, they're open late. Yes, I've had it drunk. But I've also had it sober on more than a few occasions, and let me tell you, IT'S DAMN GOOD. The crust is great, the toppings are spot on, and honestly, I look forward to a slice of Dimo's in the same way I look forward to whole pie's at the more mainstream places. If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping in, regardless of your BAC!

Came in for a quick bite, we had one piece and needed another. line had gotten longer/busier in the restaurant, I was near the end of the line. When I got to the register I was told its a $5 minimum for credit card purchases (which I just found out its illegal to require a minimum in the first place), ofcourse a slice of zah is $4, I really didn't want a third piece, but oh well I just bought a second. I get back to our table to see my friend was not made to meet the $5 minimum for credit cards. I'm not one to send food back say something about an overcharge, etc, but this just hit a bone. I went back to the counter and I dont know if he was a manager or what, I told him what happened and his response was "well, if we see that we can get someone to buy another slice of pizza, we will".......needless to say I was flabbergasted that he would say that at all, let alone to a customer. I called bullshit and said I did not want this piece of pizza, he offered a refund which I told him was not the point, the inconsistent shady credit card minimum was the problem. He snatched the box containing the zah off the counter and threw it in the garbage.I was very put off by this adult hissy fit and proceeded back to my table. he then sauntered up about 5 minutes later after he had calmed down and offered my friend and I 2 coupons for free zah, but not before he put his hand all up and down my back. Zah is great here and the girl at the counter was very nice too, but manager man, PLEASE don't touch people like that without their permission. For this reason I will not be coming back to use those free coupons.

They burnt the bottom of my pizza two times in a row on the same order. They didn't even bother to check the bottom after their first mistake and just gave me another slice that was black as night. When the pizza is heated up properly, it's pretty damn good though. It would be a nice if they labeled the pizza toppings instead of having the employees guess which slice you want when you point to it. I came in last night and barely hovered a finger over the glass to point to the slice and the employee behind the counter immediately threw a fit saying I had dirty fingers. I stated the obvious that he wasn't wearing any gloves either and he proceeded to say that I'm dirty, greasy, and that I should take a shower. He immediately regretted saying that and began to apologize. This dude could've easily said "please keep your hands behind the glass" instead of throwing this little tantrum. Not professional at all. Funny because this greasy long haired blonde kid wearing his younger brothers pants could've taken a shower himself.

I am doing this as a civic duty. I found a 2 inch x 1/2 inch maggot/caterpillar in my salad yesterday. So, while I was hovering over the bathroom toilet seat, my husband brought the salad to the manager. She apologized. She agreed that they "should inspect their lettuce better" and then offered us some free slices of pizza, which we were not interested in. I'm not going to spew my inside feelings here because I think the objective facts tell the story clear enough.

Let me preface this post by saying that, this same time last year, I gave a 5 star rating to the other Dimo's location, the one on Clark street. I stand by that rating, that location is amazing and I encourage anyone interested in giving Dimo's a try to go to that location. The one in Wicker park isn't great. I try to avoid leaving bad reviews but after the experience I had last night I had to be honest. I keep giving Dimo's 6 corners a chance and they keep disappointing me. Prior to last night I hadn't ordered Dimo's at home in quite a while because of the service I'd received on my last visit. On a Saturday evening I'd called Dimos Six Corners to ask if they made pizza by the slice. The gentleman on the phone told me yes, they do. I ordered 2 slices of the vegan bbq steak & fries and one slice of the vegan buffalo chicken and pineapple. He told me he'd put in the order so it would be ready when I arrived. I bundled up and walked over, only to find out when I arrived that not only did my order never get placed but they didn't even have any of the slices I wanted available. The guys behind the counter knew nothing about my order. They recommended I order from the vegan slices that were already made. The guys weren't rude or anything, they apologized for me being disappointed. Nobody ever asked anyone in the kitchen about my order though. I ordered from the slices that were there, they were cool but it wasn't what I wanted. I was gonna just go back to getting pizza from Dimos Wrigley until I tweeted about it and the Dimo's twitter account replied (perhaps because I write for Red Eye Chicago and had a really popular article in print that day) and encouraged to email brand@dimospizza.com to tell them about my experience and they would make it up to me. I emailed as instructed. I NEVER GOT A REPLY. Great customer service, guys. The following time I ordered, I'd mistakenly asked for a salad that wasn't vegan to go with my pizza. I called back immediately to tell them I would like a different salad because I can't have eggs. He told me all the veggies were being wrapped up in the kitchen but he would figure it out for me, and I thanked him and told him I appreciate that very much. When the order was delivered an hour later I discovered he'd lied. He'd sent the same salad I'd mistakenly ordered in the first place. I couldn't eat it. The final straw was last night. I craved pizza and decided to give Dimo's 6 Corners another chance. When I called in, the person I spoke to was very helpful and polite. When my order came though, not only had they forgotten to include or charge me for the drink I'd asked for, but the pizza was the worst I'd ever gotten from Dimo's. I have noticed on more than one occasion that the 6 Corners location is way stingier with the vegan cheese than the Lakeview location. But this time I barely had any cheese, it was mostly toppings and dough. It ended up throwing most of the pizza away, it was really bad, I couldn't believe it. I have no idea why the pizza and service here is so much worse than the other location. I won't be having Dimo's unless I happen to be in Lakeview. I highly recommend the Dimo's at 3463 N Clark St in Chicago. Not Dimo's 6 Corners though, it's not worth the money.

So I'm on a dairy-free diet and I. Need of some food and wouldn't you know this pizza joint offered TWO options. And both were dee-lish. The Naked Three Veg sounds like a staple. Crust was perfect. And the special vegan Black Market was sweetened by the red grapes on top of a curry sauce, radicchio and sunflower seeds. Awesome. Can't wait to come back when I can eat cheese and try the mac&cheese pizza!

Dimo's pizza, I want you to know from the bottom of my cold, black heart that I love you. Thank you for moving to within a mile of me. I had completely forgot this location was opening up so when I ran across it, my lady and I ran in. Her first time going and was already 50% in love with the place by the fact that they did specialty pizzas that were adventurous and vegetarian. She went with Elotes pizza and I swear to everything holy in the sky she now believes there might be something holy in the sky delivering this blessed glory upon us. I, on the other hand, consume animals. The chicken finger slice, with its walk through chicken finger dipping sauce heaven pretty much caused need for new pair of shorts. Seriously, went 6 to midnight and you mugs owe me a new zipper. Keep in mind, this was around 5pm. Now lets fast forward to 12am: Just finishing tom cruise's version of groundhog day, I get hungry again. yup, rode the hell back for the waffle, bacon, eggs, hashbrown and whiskey maple glaze slice. If you found my previous paragraph offensive at all, just quit reading now. Taking it home filled the house with the smell of breakfast so proper that my roommate woke up and asked what I was making and what style of virgin I'd like sacrificed for a bite of it. After brandishing his blade I began to think upon my own sexual experiences and wondered how unvirgin I needed to be in order for him not to take this from me, so a bite was offered. Sold. Dimo's, call me. I miss you already. If it were economically viable for you I'd demand we were exclusive. But I understand, you need to be all up in everyone, and I can respect that. slut.

I'm so happy about Dimo's - we get into a rut and order from the same places all the time, and were at a friends house who ordered Dimos: it was excellent. I love NYC style, and we had one pepperoni and one with spinach and feta. Freaking delicious!

Dimo's one of kind. Nothing can compare. Customer service is undeniable and the slices are amazing. Had a chicken and waffle slice that changed my life. Mark my words... There's Dimo's and no place else. Shoutout to Alissa and Lindsay for being the absolute best. Late night. Early night. Every night.

Pretty good for when I have a gluten binge (which I always regret but figure life is short). The actual place itself is a bit too hipster for me but it is Bucktown, and it was late night so I can't be too hard. I do love the fun variety pizzas they have!!!

I just want to get out of the way that I agree with a few other Yelpers. Just because your at a six corner intersection that doesn't mean you're located at six corners, at least not here in Chicago. Just saying. So I tried the vegan BBQ steak and fries pizza. It was tasty and interesting. I mean what could be better than biting into a French fry on your pizza? I'll tell you; biting into a pizza crust loaded with elbow macaroni and creamy gooey vegan cheese. Yeah, go for the vegan mac and cheese pizza. Whoever thought of that should win an award. It's different and delicious. Even though the Wrigleyville location is closer to where I live, I'd come back to this locale in a heartbeat. It's minutes away from the Damen Blue Line stop. Being a new restaurant the décor is fresh and trendy with really interesting art on the walls. The people who worked that afternoon were super nice and helpful. I'll be back.

Okay, a lot of my friends say this place is for after the bars or for a hangover, but my husband and I disagree. We went here when they first opened and were not big fans. We decided to try it out again and were pleasantly surprised by the pizza (the crust is better than it used to be). Yes, it depends on what you order. I would stay traditional if you're not one to try new things; however, some of their concoctions are good (need a little more sauce) . If you like pizza, then I would give this place a try. Salads: Their salads are a little overpriced for what you get (the large looks like a small), but have always been fresh. I wouldn't get the chicken as they use chunks from the package (or at least that's what it looked like and tasted like). Price: The price for a slice of pizza is a little high. Maybe have a discount for the more you buy (buy three get one free). They do have a punch card - so make sure you grab one. Customer Service: We have always had great service.

I have loved dimos since they opened on damen. Their pizza is delicious - perfect sauce, perfect crust. I have been a loyal customer. I work at a public school right around the corner and have ordered pizza three times for my students. The first two times a really nice female manager spoke with me and offered me a 10% discount since I am a teacher and the pizza was for school. However, this last Friday I called to place my order and mentioned this previous discount to the young guy on the phone. He went to ask his manager (a male this time) about the discount and came back to the phone and said, "my manager has no idea about this discount". When I asked (very nicely) to speak to the manager the young man said no! He then went and talked to his manager again and came back to the phone and said, "you can have your discount, but you do realize it's only $3 right? Is it that big of a deal?" He also delivered cold pizzas and did not cut the pizzas into squares as I requested, making us have to cut the pizza ourselves using sporks, seeing as how knives aren't allowed in schools. I had recommended dimos to all my co-workers as well and have had to let them know that they should probably not order from there any longer. It's too bad because like I said before, I love their pizza! I just don't want to be treated like that on the phone. I hope the great female manager still works there, that may be their saving grace.

Neat, inventive pizzas. I'm betting this place is really popular with the typical neighborhood residents. Not personally being a vegan or gluten-free person, I went for a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The prices seem a bit high for thin crust, but I tried it out anyway. The pizza tastes like it's homemade... Which is kind of a double-edged sword. Homemade pizza sometimes lacks the "chew" quality you'd want from pizza. That was kind of the case with this crust. But somehow the dessert pizza was overly-chewy. Go figure. Still not bad pizza, and delivery was professional. Not a bad choice for the future.

I seriously love this location. While I became acquainted with Dimo's in Lakeview, I set up a get together at this location on a weekend and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and obliging, even though we were quite boisterous. They have wine, beer and soft drinks in bottles. The pizza is always interesting and amazing.

I've had Ian's in Madison a handful of times, and that's where I became familiar with some of the more off-the-wall pizza ingredients. Ok, Dimo's has some ridiculous toppings. They're pretty much drop-the-mic worthy. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom penne alfredo pizza as well as the spinach alfredo slice. The steak taco pizza was delicous with actual tortilla chips on top. I'd like to devote a paragraph to one of their specials. It was a crab rangoon pizza. Basically there was crab rangoon and green onions for toppings, while the pizza had an incredible sweet and sour sauce flavor. It tasted exactly like crab rangoon, and was excellent. The night I had this, I also had a slice of steak taco. So in one night, I had Mexican and Thai cuisine while eating an Italian specialty. I hope they make the crab rangoon a normal option! It can be quite overwhelming when ordering as there are just so many options. I tend to freak out on occasion when making my pizza choice. Just come in like a wrecking ball and be ready to order. Staffers are helpful and enthusiastic so it helps the order anxiety. They have a punchcard and will give extra punches if you recycle old pizza boxes there.

These guys have really gotten their game together in the past several months. When the first opened, they were a far cry from the Wrigleyville original. Boring pizzas and never enough of the toppings you wanted. Just went last night though and that's all changed. The chicken and waffle pizza and the Philly cheese steak pizza were off the hook. And there is basically never a line which is wonderful late at night when you wanna put down those cravings fast.

Had the alfredo pizza and it was great! Especially with bbq sauce. The woman at the counter rattled off each type of slice like a pro. She was very kind and chatted with us for a bit. I also got a michigan hard cider in a can and it was interesting since I never seen it in Michigan and I'm from there. Definitely the crust was the besttttt!

Last year: we were proud card-carrying members. This year: our little pizza slice card thingy with likely go in the trash. We went in at 7pm on a Friday night and there was literally ONE SLICE of pizza left. I know its cool to have pizza with grapes n' truffle oil but when its prime pizza time, there should at least be some selection? The place wasn't even full? We were told it'd be 12 minutes for pepperoni. Upon its arrival, we`scurried to order two slices but were told we could only have one because another guy wanted the other ones. Noone was embarrassed or apologetic? They were likely more concerned with which bad punk rock record to play next... If you're in the poshy part of Bucktown, live up to it!

I ordered my pizza at 9:45pm. It is now 12am and my pizza still hasn't been delivered. I know places can get busy but this is ridiculous. Starving and not happy. *** I will add back a star for now since they are sending me free slice coupons and I totally understand it sucks when you've only got one bike delivery guy and tons of orders. But give the guy (and customers) a break and add another staff member! and even though i placed my order at 9:45 (i have email confirmation) they didnt get/start order until 11:17! The staff member on the phone was very nice and apologetic. i appreciated that. will review further once i actually get to eat this pizza. :)

    I. LOVE. Dimo's! This place is awesome! And so spacious! Customer service here is always super quick and friendly, and it's safe to say I've been through more than one of the punch cards for a free slice! Ha! All the friends I have taken here to try the pizza love it! Slices are bigger than your head and so cheap! Also not greasy at all which is awesome. They always have different slices each day, with a great variety. They are very inventive here which I love. I am obsessed with their vegan selection of slices, which they also get creative with. I have seen vegan philly cheezesteak and even vegan mac and cheeze slices, so to my fellow vegans out there, you are not missing out creativity & flavor-wise! Try a new, out of the box place for pizza!

Tonight I ordered from Dimo's. I was expecting a couple pizzas. The delivery driver called me and I missed the call (my phone was in the other room.) However, They didn't ring my doorbell and went back to the restaurant. I noticed the missed calls and called Dimo's to see what happened. They said they couldn't ring my bell because my gate was locked. My bell is on the outside of the gate so they either didn't see it or didn't care to look. They said they could re-deliver but had to charge me a re-delivery fee. It's not my fault their driver didn't notice my doorbell which is clearly on my gate. None the less, they were unwilling to waive this fee. Luckily Chicago isn't short on quality pizza options that care about their customer.

Live down the street and decided to take a walk here since I had a friend at school bring a slice in for lunch and I thought it looked absolutely delicious and interesting to say the least. Well I stopped in and opted for the Mac and cheese (since I LOVE cheese) and I definitely wasn't disappointed! I also grabbed some Leninade and had a side salad since it was a part of their lunch special for only six bucks!!! Woohoo!! Absolutely delish fresh Caesar salad I might add. I walked around wicker park more and decided to pop in a second time in one day to pick up a few 'zas to take home to share the wonderfulness that is dimo's. I took home a 20 inch Mac and and cheese and 12 inch steak and fries. Everyone loved them! The atmosphere here is pretty cool too and their selection of brews is pretty snazzy. The friendliness of the staff was awesome too and I like how they were willing to explain to me every slice I was looking at! I did however take off a star because while browsing through the slices I did see a hair poking out on one. It looked like the guys in the kitchen had pretty full beards and/or long hair which was a little concern for me because they weren't wearing any hair nets or anything and I get really weird about infection control but if they just got the guys clean up a bit or wear hair nets then they could hands-down get a 5 star review from me!

I really hate to give Dimo's a bad review. I really love Dimos. I first went to Dimo's like I'm sure many do, drunk and wanting pizza. I REALLY love Dimo's pizza. But I just ordered at 11:30pm, and an hour an a half later, when there's still no delivery, I call. They tell me that their oven is broken, and their delivery guy is gone for the night. Okay well, here's the thing. I wouldn't be nearly as upset if I had gotten a phone call explaining this, an HOUR AND A HALF AGO. When I get home from work late at night, and I'm craving good food, I know I can count on Dimo's. :( But not being notified? In the hour an a half it took for me to think somethings up (and that was me pushing it considering I live like 5 minutes away, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.), and to call them, I could've ordered something else in that time. I know people have had this issue before with them not exactly being on the uptake of notifying people about issues. And I REALLY love dimos. but it's 1am and I am pizza-less, and tired. Dimo's, pleaaaasee get better organizational skills. It shouldn't take the customer realizing somethings weird, and having to have them call you for you to tell them there's no pizza. The guy was nice and admitted they messed up and said they'd refund me but still. :( two stars because it is amazing pizza but I am saddened by the fact I'm not eating it right now.

Dimo's is the place you want to go for vegan pizza. This joint has an amazing assortment of vegan options! I had the (vegan) Mac pizza with mozzarella teese and macaroni noodles topped with cheddar teese, absolutely delicious! They have many different pies sure to please any palate.

Helloooooo, bacon, arugula and figs on a cracker thin big pizza slice?! I'm there. We tried 7 different slices and five stars on all of them! I've never had chicken and waffles, but I tried a slice of chix/waffles and I gotta go get me some. Like right now!

Made my third trip to Dimo's, but first since the opening in July. Marked improvement in one main area--my pizza was served hot this go-round, and the staff seems to really have their act together (came in this past Sunday night). My chicken-and-waffle slice was relatively bland and not as flavorful as my first time trying that one in Wrigleyville, but the sausage-and-pepperoni slice was very good. My friend tried two slices including the famous mac-and-cheese and was very happy too. I want to come back one more time to round out my experience but this is certainly better than when it first opened!

Overall, I like Santullo's better. Crust at this place is great, but they don't season their vegetables and the mac n' cheese pizza was pretty flavorless. I probably won't be back. It's ok at best.

I'm very close to giving Dimo's a full five-star review. This place gets about as close as I've come to genuinely authentic NYC-style pizza crust, and that alone is a minor miracle in this city of mediocre pizza by the slice. As a very nice bonus, the combination of creative toppings and reasonable prices really make Dimo's a great newcomer to Wicker Park. I really appreciate the variety of high quality vegetarian options here. As far as I could tell, they kept bringing out different specialty pizzas on a regular basis even during the short amount of time I was in the restaurant. Honestly, my best advice would be to just choose from whatever looks freshest at the moment. You probably won't be disappointed. Now, to get down to basics...Dimo's crust is incredibly thin and crisp, pretty much exactly like a NYC slice should be. Unlike far too many slices in Chicago, Dimo's crust actually supports the weight of pizza toppings and doesn't droop when you pick it up. This is a huge deal! I'm also really impressed by the quality of Dimo's pizza sauce. It actually tastes like real tomatoes and has a nice, bright, slightly spicy flavor that really complements the rest of the slice. Since everyone else one here evidently loves things like chicken and waffle pizza (barf) I'll let you read about that abomination in other reviews. That's just not real pizza and nobody should care if it's good or bad anyway. It shouldn't exist. Same goes for a lot of Dimo's weird meat-based creations, just like the mac & cheese pizza. That's weird midwestern novelty food. Just avoid it and go with the real thing. Otherwise, the restaurant's space is huge, bright, clean, and welcoming. The staff at the counter are genuinely friendly and helpful. It's a major step up from Santullo's and worth a visit.

Pizza isn't so great. They have a lot of inventive toppings, if that's your thing. The restaurant is very loud, because all the sound echoes. I happened to be in by myself one weekend, and there was a table of what seemed like 85 children (read: there were only 4 children at the table) but it was SO loud I left earlier than I wanted to. I wonder what the sound would be like if there weren't a thousand children in the restaurant, however I haven't returned because the 'za just isn't all that.

I was a loyal customer in Wrigleyville so I was thrilled when the WP location opened. It's much more spacious and they have beer on tap! They don't take credit cards, so be prepared to pay via cash or app. As you likely already know, the pizza is awesome! I'm from NY so I'm a pizza snob and this is the best I've had in the city. Yes, all of the interesting options make it appealing, but I also enjoy the standard cheese slice or one of the basic toppings. So many vegetarian options, and they have vegan slices every day! Try the vegan ranch, and the salads are good too! My favorite slice is the cheesy potato, but you really can't go wrong with whatever catches your eye.

I damn well know what Dimo's (not gonna lie, it's still weird not calling them Ian's) is all about. It's not like this location's pizza's are all that different from what you find on clark st. The biggest benefit is that it isn't on clark st. Hmmm, maybe that should add this to 5*, but the pizza isn't *that* good to merit that one. Dimo's is very straightforward. You go in, there's a whole variety of slices to choose from, and then you wait as it heats up again. What's most notable is that these slices usually work best when there has been some form of social lubricant involved (best if used in the malted beverage variety). The biggest benefit of the Damen location is that 1) you don't have to deal with the barleycorn crowd, and 2) there's way more room here. The clark location can be cramped and it does engage my inner douchebag, this location allows me to be my normal relaxed self while getting a drunk slice (or two) of pizza. So, to Dimo's (it's STILL IAN'S TO ME), thanks for now being in the hood and bringing your pizza craziness.

Mere words cannot describe sufficiently my feelings about Dimo's Pizza. Let me first start out by saying this: if you are a closed-minded orthodox pizza purist you probably won't be too enchanted with Dimo's. Dimo's like to push the boundaries of what might be considered acceptable pizza toppings by the general American public. With fabulous and life-changing results. Your mouth will get to explore combinations it never thought possible, experience various and varying textures of carbohydrates in a single bite, smothered in experimental sauce and cheese mixtures that will light up your whole being. And if that wasn't enough, dear Chicagoans, there is a splendid selection of local craft beers and sometimes live music. If Wicker Park is the Promised Land, Dimo's is the Ark of the Covenant. Worship it at your leisure.

How did I not know about Dimo's? Their menu is perfect for drunk eating, I don't know if I could justify their insane (but delicious) combinations otherwise. Mac n cheese, taco, french fry, chicken finger, hot cheeto.... these are all flavors of pizza. They shockingly have vegan options of most of them too. I love that you can buy by the slice, plus they deliver late and are really reasonably priced. I'm mad I just discovered this place, but it's definitely for the best. One tip - the s'mores pizza is incredible. I was prepared to think it was an absolute joke, but it's perfect. There's a thin layer of mozzarella, then marshmellow, teddy grahams and tons of melted chocolate. It's sweet and salty, shockingly not overwhelming - just bettter than I could have imagined. Gotta try it at least once.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!!! We ordered delivery. Never been to the location. We live 3 miles away. One pizza and a dessert. Delivery took an hour and 40 minutes on wednesday night! 3 miles takes about 15 minutes to drive.. and we got a small thin crust. When it finally came..THE DELIVERY GUY WAS ON A BIKE!!!!! Yes...DELIVERING PIZZA ON A BIKE!!!!!!! Needless to say the pizza was cold. Why would anyone deliver pizza on a bike? The cheese was rubbery.. not gooey and it was just cold. Im giving 2 stars because it seemed like it would be ok if it were warm. I shouldnt have to microwave my dinner. What a waste. They obviously dont care about quality. We will not be trying again. AVOID!!!

Amazing pizza and cool people. They have some great vegan options, sell by the slice or by the pie, deliver until midnight, and are open pretty late. Pretty sweet. I come here pretty often and the ambiance is definitely a younger... louder crowd which I definitely don't mind, especially if I'm with a group. Only (small) reasons this isn't a 5: the music here is SO LOUD, I work in a pretty loud restaurant myself but at times I feel like I'm at a concert and not a restaurant. My other small gripe is the way the whole register situation is set up gets pretty chaotic and confusing with people taking orders by the slices and then by the register and then everyone has to wait for their slice or pie to be done and it's loud and it's just easy for things to just get a little mixed up. That said; the food is great and the staff are friendly and that's what matters the most

As a vegetarian, I was extremely excited to have a place that has vegan pizza open in the neighborhood. All of the slices I've had so far (with the exception of the vegan mac and cheese one, which was a bit bland) have been great, with two particular standouts- one was a black bean one that I've only had once, but it was great. The other one, was a pumpkin pie one, which was absolutely FANTASTIC. I was apprehensive about getting a "dessert" pizza, but I am glad I did. I really hope this one hangs around for the whole fall season. Tip for vegans- the vegan ones are usually the ones closest to the cash register.

This place has the variety of a Nueva York pizzeria But they usually have two vegan choices, one uping santullos they have sit in, serve your own water, big space Nothing fancy Only thing I'm mad about I got a card last time, bought two slices And they didn't mark the card, didn't realize till I left, she even asked if I wanted a card, lmao!

Pizza in the morning! Pizza in the evening! Pizza at supper time...if it's pizza made at dimos, you should eat pizza anytime!!!! (Best if you repeat that to the tune from the bagel bites commercial) Today I had a slice of chicken and waffles pizza. Need I say more??? Ok are you not impressed?? What about cheesy potato pizza?! Or mac n cheese pizza!!! Or Lasagna pizza!? Chicken parmesan pizza?!!! The pizza toppings are ridiculous...and by that, I mean ridiculously good. The price is right & they''re open late. Also, the staff are super friendly!

I love pizza. We live nearby and saw this place was opening. It does say cash and iphones only on the window and so we were like...eh, no thanks...but I think they take credit cards now! Anyway, we walked here on a Friday night. The space is big, plenty of room to sit. The guy behind the counter was really funny and he took the time to describe every slice they had available (which was a lot!) They have booze, yay! We got beers. I went with a spicy taco pizza slice and a chicken parmesan slice. My husband got a chicken and waffles and a buffalo chicken bleu cheese. I didn't try the buff chicken because I don't like bleu cheese, but all the others were awesome! The chicken and waffles was crazy, I didn't expect to like it, but I did! I am intrigued with the mac n cheese pizza, really want to try that. I like that they have slices because you can try some crazier stuff and not have to commit to a whole pizza. I keep thinking, when can we go back?! Yum!

$3 pint Mondays = Awesome They have about 8 rotating craft beers on tap including ones from some of my favorite breweries. What?! $3 pints all day on Mondays?! I'll probably be there every Monday from now on. They have interesting pizzas, both interesting good and interesting not so good, but interesting nonetheless. Slices are $4, and it seems all prices already include tax which is an added unexpected bonus. I also noticed some board games they had behind the counter, which I'm assuming customers are allowed to play. I may gather a few friends for $3 pints and games one Monday night in the near future. They also host a trivia night Wednesdays which I may check out sometime. Additionally, they host other interesting events that sometimes includes live music. I remember walking by one night and it looked like they were hosting an air guitar competition which seemed fun. All in all, Dimo's is definitely a welcome recent(ish) addition to the neighborhood.

Pizza and beer is a great thing, especially when you can get it in one place. I love their wide selection of pizzas, and it's all pretty affordable. The za itself is damn good and their baby demon sauce is especially tasty.

So. I've had Dimo's on a few different occasions. All of them have just been, grab a slice or two for carry-out. I really enjoyed their pizza, the place, and customer service (especially compared to those a$$holes down the street at Santullos. Tuesday night I went in with a bud and we grabbed a couple slices, I ordered the Spinach & Feta slice. Proceeded to eat them around 10pm. At 5am I woke up feeling like absolute hell. I was sweating, overheating, my stomach was tied in knots. After 24 hours of going from bed to bathroom to bed to bathroom I decided I should probably write something about my experience. I'd like to say I won't eat here again, like I did with Barley Corn in Lincoln park after a group of us got sick from eating tainted spinach artichoke dip. But, I live right around the corner, and when I'm drinking I tend to not make as rationale of choices. so I may see you again Dimo's, but never the spinach and feta (which I assume at that point had been sitting under that heat lamp since lunchtime).

Judging by the reviews, maybe I came on a bad night...but unfortunately I have to report that this place is for suckers - and I was suckered. Quick, creative pizza is the concept and they also have salads, beers and wine. I give them props for a nice space and casual hip atmosphere. Other than that I was pretty disappointed. The 2 failings were: 1. service, 2. quality/value. As far as the service goes, I hope for the well being of the owners that this employee is new or someone they are giving a chance. Super nice guy but obviously absentminded. Told me pizza would be up in 7min and he'd bring it out...never happened. I had to go up to the counter and ask his colleague. I'd normally say it was a fluke but there were 2 customers before me that seemed to have similar issues. I ordered wine and he poured a very small amount. I think I spent about $1.25 per sip. His coworker tried to compensate by offering me extra stamps on their loyalty card - but I had to decline because I, most likely, won't be back. Quality/value is related to my wine portion and the food. I had a salad and they were out of the appropriate dressing. That was slightly disappointing as this was not discovered until my salad was already made. My back up dressing choice - Caesar, was unusually chunky and dry looking so I didn't even bother putting it on. The pizza was inventive, but wasn't that great. Just a facade of unique ingredients slopped together for a blah result. I wish I'd liked this place, it would be so convenient for me to eat there often. Hopefully they will improve!

Great pizza. Plus vegan (and nonveg) slices all day. When i went, the vegan slices were mac and cheese, chorizo taco, and some kind of 'chicken' seitan pizza. You can also order a full pie too if you want to wait about 15 or so minutes. The crust is thin and a little crispy. Not quite New York style, but still excellent. For the vegans they have vegan cheese and a few kinds of seitan for toppings. Lots of seating here too. Bring friends. Clean bathrooms, but I didn't see changing tables. They do NOT take credit cards here. Only cash and LevelUp on your smartphone. if you need that app, go here: thelevelup.com/c/T9F5JC Though I have to say, it's in Wicker Park, not Six Corners. It's nowhere near the intersection of Cicero, Irving Park, and Milwaukee.

My online delivery order got into a SNAFU within the system and the pizza wasn't delivered after waiting an hour, I called to cancel and get a refund. Then a manager called very kindly and the issue was resolved. First time order turned around and really respect the customer service for making things right.

Great pizza choices that taste oh so scrumptious. Can't wait to make it back to try out more. Probably tastes even better after a few drinks at the surrounding bars.

Awesome pizza. We are eating a Mac and cheese pizza and a cheesy baked potato pizza and absolutely delicious salad with a very tasty balsamic dressing. In a fun area of town. I feel like a hipster.

I love this place! It's amazing the amount of different slices they offer daily & options for people with food issues. Vegan pizzas, and some options for FodMap diet at well (it's hard to find pizza without garlic or onion - the chicken & waffle pizza works & doesn't kill my husband's stomach). I would love to see other non-garlic & non-onion options too. I've tried the Mac & cheese pizza (not much flavor), the mushroom, red pepper spinach (amazing!!!) , Philly cheesesteak is yummy, chicken & waffle is really good too! I'll be back to try many different slices!

I was ecstatic to hear that Dimo's is opening in Wicker! SO many times I wanted it but I wouldn't drive to Wrigley to get it, it may be a tad dangerous having it this close to me now! This one is a lot bigger and cleaner looking. They look like they may have a decent area of music and drinks too so that will be interesting to see! The staff is as nice as ever - I don't know where they find SUCH nice and happy employees - even after repeating the kinds of slices they have a bazillion times - it's truly great! I have never had a slice of pizza I didn't love at Dimos! They are hands down my favorite pizza joint in all of Chicagoland (yes, that is a bold statement but I mean it!) My only complaint (can't believe I'd ever have a complaint about DImos!) about this location (and the reason for not giving it 5 stars) is because they don't take cards, it's cash only!!!!!! I am truly upset about this. I know a lot of places in Chicago are cash only, but I avoid those places! I don't go to Boiler Room in Logan Square (my hood) because it is cash only. I get they will have ATMs and such but it's a huge inconvenience and rather annoying. On their door they said "Cash and iPhones only" not sure what that means, but hopefully there will be a way I can use my credit/debit card via my iphone or something because if not I will not be coming here half as much as I would like! Anywho, this place is amazing, go... like, now! :)

The first time I went in, they were playing the Descendents on the speakers. When I went a few weeks later, they were playing Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Shit yeah. Also, the pizza is good.

This is really great pizza. I had the buffalo chicken ranch and it was divine. I've never been to the older location, but this location is great- centrally located right by six corners. I would definitely stop here again. The only issue is the phish music blaring.

Pretty good. Stopped by this evening while taking a stroll through Wicker Park and was drawn in by the awesome smell from outside the little shop. They had a lot of different options with great premium toppings, but none of them were very fresh. I had a slice with tomatoes spinach and feta, and my fiancé had a chicken and waffle slice. The pizza was tasty but I have had better and I also have had worse. I would definitely go back because it was refreshingly different and had good customer service.

Pizza is delicious and not badly priced, both for a slice or for a whole pie. Their salad is also really fresh. A whole pie and a salad was only about $20 and the slices are big. Really happy they now take credit cards too.

Oh how excited I was when I found out that Dimo's was coming to the Wicker Park area!! I grew up in NY and have been so disappointed by the thin crust pizza in Chicago. I have frequented the other Dimo's location quite a bit, but the trek from the Wicker Park area was a little too much for me most of the time. Basically these pizzas taste exactly as they do at the Wrigleyville location, so those who say otherwise are being hypersensitive and trying to find fault, in my opinion. I've been here three times since they opened and the pizza was great each time. My favorites have been the BBQ chicken bacon ranch, Mac, and one of their specials that had root beer marinated beef . I could not tell a difference between these slices compared to their other location. I recently ordered delivery from here as well and it showed up quickly and the delivery person was super friendly. I am so happy that Dimo's came to my 'hood. I can finally end my search to find good thin crust nearby!

I love Dimos! And I love even more that I don't have to go to Wrigleyville to eat their delicious pizza. However, the last two times I've gone there I've had to go up and ask if my pizza was ready only to find out that it had been sitting on the rack and I then had to wait for a re-fire on the pizza. I'm vegetarian and want to eat their pizzas with dairy cheese and sometimes you have to really make sure the staff understand this and that you want dairy cheese and not vegan cheese, but want the faux-meat toppings. Other than those couple of set backs their staff is friendly and helpful. Also, Dimos supports their staff by offering sick days and a livable wage. Another great reason to support this business.

A friend and I went for late night food and our first time after another friend recommended it. The pizza was delicious! There were around six or seven kinds to choose from and I think I would have been happy with pretty much all of them. I went with a slice each of BBQ chicken bacon cheddar ranch and BBQ steak and fries. The price was reasonable based on the quality and amount of the food. I originally was only going to have just one slice... They were busy and short staffed when we went, but the staff was really nice and they were still keeping the line to a minimum. The drink selection was good (nice selection of beers...I wasn't much of a fan of the ginseng peach cider though) and there was a self-serve water station so that was nice. I'll definitely go back and recommend to others!

My fiance and I went here on a pizza date and we had the chicken and waffle pizza, the taco pizza, and the bbq chicken and ranch. The chicken and waffle pizza was great. it was just the right combination of chicken and waffles and perfect amount of maple syrup so it wasnt overly sweet. The crust they make is fantastic, doesn't make you feel incredibly full and bloated. Since this was our first time here, the guy that helped us gave us a rundown of all the different slices and was super friendly and answered all our questions. I would definitely go back

Good beer selection, fast service, and good pizza. Lots of different and unique options to choose from. Not a gourmet restaraunt, but a nice place to meet up and enjoy some affordable pizza and beverages. There's a different kind of pizza for all tastes and especially anyone willing to try something adventurous.

My boyfriend and I both tried the hawaiian pizza. It was a bit too thin and a little too burnt on the bottom with not enough barbecue. The pineapple was good and they put pulled pork on it. Over all it was ok, just wish the crust was thicker and softer and some added sauce. The tap water they have sitting out tasted kinda gross and I drink a lot of tap water so I'm usually not picky. Staff is nice and the restaurant is clean, I'd come back and try some other flavors!

My roommate had some carry out for lunch this afternoon. On his second slice, I noticed him gently pulling out a strand of hair that never seemed to end. Once he finally had it all, he sat looking at the pizza contemplating how to proceed. In the end, he shrugged his shoulder and finished the slice. Based on this alone I have to give it 4 stars. It must be good if you're willing to shrug your shoulder over a couple of hairs.

Never been to the Lakeview location but $1 slices on grand opening day somehow convinced us to wait in the 45 min line. Chose 4 different ones, but my fave was the mac 'n cheese. The dude in front of us mistakenly took our philly cheesesteak and we got his taco pizza instead. They apologized and gave us coupons for 2 free slices. I appreciate good customer service so we'll be back!

Creative pizzas, so many combinations! Went straight for the spinach/mushroom/basil/tomato pizza slice and it was heaven. I loved the selection of veg/vegan food AND beer. You can't go wrong with a slice here, even if you're not veg/vegan, those slices are delish. I'm definitely coming back (and updating my review)

I really love Dimo's, mostly due to ease. It's so close to my apartment and so quick. You do need to make sure your pizza is hot enough. The crust is amazing. The caprese-type is my ultimate favorite but I try to mix it up quite a bit. They are cash only under a certain amount and sometimes it's annoying getting refills on your water.

I used to have my late-night food-date go to spot, but apparently the necessity for a late-night food-date spot has moved from the weekend to weekdays. Ok, I am speaking and riddles and I realize it is making little sense, if any. I love pizza late night, after one too many libations. Yes, I am aware that it does no good for the waistline, but I believe it does wonders for the hangover. So count me in! My go to spot has stood me up on my recent weekday festivities (seeing as they are only open late on the weekends). Where can I get my hangover cure? Dimo's it is! I quickly make my way to the glass counter to ogle each of my choices. Dimo's, you offer so many options! Your staff is friendly and willing to spout off each of the endless possibilities while I try to make up my indecisive mind. I order my slice and take my seat in view of the counter. My hangover cure is quickly calling my name - hot and fresh out of the oven. I sink my teeth into my first bite, so good. Spinach, Feta and Pesto wowzer! As I am getting ready to demolish this delicious slice of pizza, as I look up - there is an uninvited guest at my table. He is just staring at me, but says nothing. I say, "Normally this would be incredibly odd, but it is Halloween." He says nothing. I look up at the counter and the server mouths,"Is he bothering you?" I nod, Yes. A guy from the kitchen immediately comes over and says, "Let's go." The uninvited guy at my table finally speaks up and says, "Where are we going?" The server says, "Out of here. Come on, stand up. Let's go." He finally gets the uninvited guest to stand up and they continue the banter out the front door. I was glad I was finally able to get back to my pizza. I appreciate the staff being so alert. Maybe, my late-night food-date spot was taken a little too literal, haha.

Not only tasty and huge 20 inch pizzas..... I had a little mix up when I was sent home with the wrong pizza, when I called I was told to come on in and get a freebie with my next visit. When I did return a week later I not only got my pie for free but also got my second one for half price! Plus the manager who helped us was so smiley cool and apologized at least ten times. Love all the options but truthfully the sausage is our fave. Feeds my kids and all for a great price, our newest pizza go to spot in our Bucktown neighborhood!!

With Beer on tap, slices like buffalo chicken w/ goat cheese, bbq chicken, etc. its a great late night spot to get food. Also the service has always been spectacular. Very attentive and friendly staff. Live music on certain nights too!

Probably my favorite place to get quick vegan food in all of Chicago, which is saying something. They always have a good rotation of vegan slices, and the staff is super friendly and helpful at making recommendations. My meat-eating friends are always happy when Adeline makes a suggestion for them. Overall the staff is the most friendly of anywhere in the area and I'm always happy to see them and buy a slice (or three!).

Please try getting a conveyor belt heater Dimo's! It will make your life so much easier. Dimo's is like Antonio's if anybody has been--pizza with some funky but awesome toppings. Mac and cheese, gyros, etc. This place is great for late night food if you're in the area! Their credit card system is kinda funky, so grab some cash if you're planning on going.

  • Alessandro G.

This place obviously has fun with what they concoct for pizza toppings. Nonetheless, most of the pizzas looked extremely appetizing, some just a little destructive. I ordered the Finger Lickin' Chicken and the Chicken n' Waffles, both of which were satisfying. It's a great place to end your night out in Wicker Park sometime. They seem to work well with the late-night crowd.

I really loved the very interesting array of vegetarian and vegan options (and there were enough meat options for our friend who eats meat). I found the tap list to be interesting enough/above average with very reasonable prices. Good to know they are open late and if you aren't in the mood for tacos at Big Star you can head here. Ample and comfortable seating area and we actually found the service was really good. I'm so glad they are such an awesome new pizza place in our neighborhood!

Dimo's Pizza 6 Corners! The place is exactly as you would expect another Dimo's location! This Dimo's is a little different though and not in a bad way. It is what appears to be at least 2-3 times larger. There is far more seating and it looks like they created a stage as well. Today was their grand opening and they had their $1 a slice special and it was packed, but the food did not suffer! Although I love Dimos, I love them even more now that the location is even closer to me. Although it was the staff's first big day and the line was out the door, I think they generally did a good job serving the masses. I had some new slices I've never had before such as the Philly and the Chicken and Waffles. I LOVED both of them, I was skeptical about the Chicken n' Waffles, but it is so amazing and I don't even like waffles.

Good pizza - just make sure you don't use cash when paying. I came in last night, ordered two slices, paid with two 5s and threw the two dollars as a tip (I'm actually friends with a couple of the workers there.) When I got the pizza though I only got one slice. I told the guy who was grabbing slices what happened and he threw another one in the oven for me. Since we were sitting right next to the register, I thought I could just sit down and wait for my second slice. It never came. When I asked about it, no one seemed to know what I was talking about or at least were playing dumb. I was with one of my friends who works there so I definitely didn't want to make a scene. I understand it was past midnight on a Friday - I'm sure there are tons of drunk people try to pull bullshit but this is pretty unacceptable. I'll simply take it as $10 lesson never to go to this location. Been going to the Wrigleyville one for years nothing like this ever happened.

Ordered from GrubHub a couple days ago. The pizza is quite good. The girlfriend and I both got a unique slice and then split a pepperoni pizza. I got the mac and cheese, and it was very, very good. She equally enjoyed her's (though I'm drawing a blank on what it was at this moment). The pepperoni pizza, to me, is really what I was surprised about. Why? Because any pizza joint can make a pepperoni pizza. This one though, was really, really good, so points. I'm definitely interested in going back again and seeing what other delicious things this place has to offer.

Really good. I went in with my son and we got the cheese, sausage, and chicken and waffles. All of the slices were excellent. I would def recommend. I can't wait to try the other specialties.

This place has great vegan pizza. They have a great selection of pizza slices for vegans and non vegans. I recommend eating there and not ordering it for delivery. Would give then four stars but the delivery times are beyond slow. I live 2 miles away and it always takes close to two hours to get order. Will only do pick up or eat in.

    (3)
  • Brett S.

This place is good if you are drunk and it is late. Or if it is late and not drunk. I wouldn't go there for a normal meal. This location is a big upgrade to the wrigley location however with beer and other drinks of a refreshing nature. Also. Be careful of the pizzas with a ton of different toppings. Often that is a good thing but this place experiments a lot and not always successfully.

I have a weekly event that I organize at Subterranean [#HelloHipHop] on Wednesday's right down the street from here. I didn't know about Dimo's until a few weeks ago when one of the security guys, my homie Jory told me about them. My first time there I had three differnt slices myself and I bought slices for each of my people that I had with me. The awesome choices had me feeling like a kid. Dimos turned a concept you had as a kid into a reality! Haha. And I love it. I mean Smores pizza? Come on! Give me more! Oh and I promised Lindsey that I would let you all know how aweosme she is. On one of my first visits there Lindsey was at the door closing up when I showed up hungry with some friends and after seeing my sad hungry face, she lets us in for some slices while she closed down and she was totally cool about it. Now, I see Lindsey atleast 2-3 times a month. Let her know I need to be the next crustomer of the month!

Average at best. Nothing unique about this pizza, and you can get better slices at Santullo's around the corner. It seems odd that its cash only.

Mediocre. I love the Dimo's in Lakeview, but this place has some major short comings. They don't have the big selection if "eat offbeat" pies the other branch has, and they don't take credit or debit cards ("cash and iPhone only"). No cards is pretty lame. Especially when each of their signature slices is $3.75 a piece! The pepperoni pizza was passable, nothing special, an even after eating it was like warm. This is certainly not the best pie or slide in the area.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
